The room smelled like mold. I checked in went in the room and went back to the office and checked out. There were stains all over the beds.

Nothing good about this place. Dirty down to used condoms on the floor. Showers didn’t drain toilets were broke. No towels even though they didn’t have hardly any guest. Ac filter looked like it hadn’t been touched ever. Tv wouldn’t even come on. The owners reaction was oh sorry!

BAD: Everything else….visited Georgetown for a family event so I decided to stay overnight. I wasn’t expecting too much but I damn sure wasn’t expecting what I got either. After checking in, I entered the room and pulled back bed spread. It looked like they just made the bed and didn’t change the sheets due to all of the stains that were visible. The floor wasn’t swept or mopped. I checked out the bathroom and the floor was dirty and there were no towels. Went to put water in the fridge and that was dirty. I opened the microwave and that was dirty as well. Lifted the ice bucket and found an eyelash under it. I had to go get some Lysol to spray everything down then stopped in the office for some clean sheets and towels. I was given clean sheets with no questions asked b/c they knew that room was trash and was told “we ain’t got no towels right now, they’re in the dryer”. I was told that they would bring me some in 30 minutes. I didn’t get towels until 9pm after I returned from the event and had to go ask again.Finally after winding down, I go take a shower & heard my door open (thank God) for the safety latch b/c led would have been in someone’s ass. After that, I couldn’t relax enough to go to sleep. Checked out the next morning as soon as I got myself together. As I’m putting my travel bag in the car, I noticed a used condom by my car. If you don’t give a damn about nothing in life then this is the place for you. It’s a NEVER again for me!

The second room floor was dirty. There was a used condom outside of my door. There was someone working on his car the entire stay.

Relatively expense Motel 6 for a relatively dirty room which had no towels. We didn't bother to ask for them as we just slept & left. "Breakfast" was also just a small packaged Danish. Didn't expect much when we booked and they came through ;)

I guess I'm spoiled, but I'm used to small shampoo & conditioner being provided. It was fine for my purposes, but I wouldn't go there for a weekend or longer stay

Had to change rooms 4 times. The first room you could just walk right in it without a key . When you try to change rooms they have an attitude and expect you to pay for the first night just cause you booked with them and they also require a deposit just for it to be nasty

the sink stayed stopped up, we killed 6 roaches, now where to sit comfortable. i payed from friday, saturday, sunday and leave monday, but was gone by 9am saturday morning. will never recommend this place to anyone. thenlamps didnt work they knob that turns them on had been removed. this place was Aweful

Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice gal working front desk. Thats where the good ends. The motel was not in great condition. Water leaks, shower didn't function properly. A/C was loud and not working well. My sons room flooded while he was there. Our floor was wet when we first got there. could have flooded and they covered it up. Loud truck running motor at 2 a.m. Radio blasting first night. Just coffee served at breakfast.

In 20 years, this was the worst budget friendly hotel/motel that I ever booked. It was so bad that I couldn’t bring myself to stay the night there. Cracks in the walls, peeling paint, stains, broken lamps, bugs, no shampoo, no soap, no tissues, no garbage pail. It was a non smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Staff was horrendous. It honestly seemed like a drug den and looked nothing like the photos that are posted. Do not stay here.

I liked that the Motel is in a very convenient location and that it is well priced for being so close to the beach. I expect motel accommodation at a motel 6. Nothing was bad per say. But the linens could have been newer, the room had zero towels avaliable, and although I had no issues I was worried about the saftey of my vehicle all night, very shady characters usually stay at motels so I watched my belongings like a hawk.

The (staff) 2 young ladies that I spoken to were nice! They helped me with almost everything I needed. I didn't like the first thing I saw was a nasty mirror!! It hadn't been cleaned!! The next was toilet was nasty, and hair in the tub. Fridge was nasty!! The King size bed had 2 tiny pillows and a queen size flat sheet along with half of the Duvet!! A half roll of tissue and only one set of towels just thrown on the towel rack!!

room was ok location is perfect. I was able to park close to the room. It was quiet at night so sleeping was good. The staff person at the desk help me the best he could on thing that were missing in the room. Linen shortage i had to get a change from the cart myself. the microwave was missing a the plate but the desk person gave me the one from the lobby.

Don't know the cancel my reservation and don't want to give me back my money when they took it off my card I am getting a lawyer it is not fair we had no place to stay that night?? Have no idea ?

There was a gas station next door. Motel was in poor condition, malfunctioning smoke detector, towel rack was broken and hanging from the wall, no elevator, breakfast consisted of a Twinkie and coffee, one towel per person, no soap, shampoo, or hair dryer

People hung out at all hours of the night outside the door on the walkway. The best part, We came back from the funeral to a racoon sitting on the steps eating a biscuit. I pulled out my gun and backed away. It turned and saw me and ran to the top of the steps. I made it to the top and it was still there. I'm glad it ran away from me instead of towards me, I really didn't want to have to shoot it. It was not at all a good experience at all. We chose this place because my husband stayed there for work one time when he had to go down for storm damage. It was not the same place at all, it went downhill tremendously.

Roaches everywhere. Had to get 3 rooms to find 1 clean one. Only stayed here because everything elese was booked. Should have slept in my truck.

The room was not clean at all. Smelled like cigarette smoke for a non-smoking room no towels, TV would not work only got one channel asked to be moved. They said no that they were going to try to fix the TV several hours later they could not fix it and then finally we got moved to another room which was no better than the first one as far as cleansing goes and still had no bath towels.

Quick, last minute booking....convenient! So much was going on..all at once!! Checkin in was noisy and a bit overwhelming..babies im guessing of the frt desk attendant was screaming behind the counter...ppl with night clothes on no shoes running back and forth...talking loud. Bedsheets had stains on all of them. Room had no phone to call frt desk. Walked all the way to frt just to be ringing the bell to frt desk for about 20mins. Someone finally came...he had to hunt down some new sheets. Went back to room to put on the bed...those sheets had stains aswell.

I really didn’t enjoy my stay. The room was very dirty and only had 1 pillow and the bathroom very dirty and hairy I didn’t like the fact they changed me so much for a dirty room. Went to another room they gave me and it was also dirty

We were ripped off they owe us a night stay along with booking I stayed another night went through booking after I booked room I got a message stating booking wasn't complete take 2 minutes to finish so went back to booking booked room then got message I booked 2 rooms for one night went to office she wasn't helpful at all talked to booking they wasn't helpful either so I'm out 75 dollars and we use to like staying there just to get away but I w not stay here again unless they make it right with a night stay I can't afford to be ripped off my husband and I are both disabled we live in a camper my life is hard enough without people put money over there customers

There was no soap or towels . The heater malfunctioned on a 30 degree night. The bedding was poor quality. The place was run down.

Nothing The first room we were given had the door locked in and barely locked. The second room seemed ok. We left for dinner and came back late. I would not shower or cover up with the comforter. I slept on towels to prevent touching the sheets. Water dripped on the floor when I washed my face. I wiped it up with a washcloth which needed up filthy. Those floors have not been moped in a long time.

The staff gets mad if you point out inadequate issues. I had to move 3 times before I found a room that was clean, safe & operable.

Place was nothing compared to the pictures and there was lots of mold, roaches, bed bugs and fleas I had to leave before cause I couldn’t believe how bad it was and people smoking it was terrible never again

The desk staff was awesome!!!!! The owner the older gentleman was not so friendly or helpful . Our room was rather nice. There was a tub mat in the tub .I wondered why but ok apon stepping into my shower because there was nothing to stop up tub to take a bath. I realized why there was a tub mat!!!! There were two holes in the tub !!!!! Omg 😱! So I get out an dry off while watching the TV then the cable cuts of and I get nothing but a snowy screen for 5 mins on every channel!!!! Then I just got mad 😡💢💢💢💢💢💢💢 so I ordered a king size bed I get only 3 pillows weres the other 3 pillows???? So I proceed to office desk clerk says she'll send owner ok so then owner comes to my room and I proceed to ask why I only have 3 pillows with a king I should have 6 he say ask desk clerk if we got them she'll get them. I say ok the tube has 2 holes in it and my TV is all snow he says very rudely nothing wrong with TV I said that's because the cable must have clicked back on you have problem you leave now you get refund nothing else you take to desk clerk. And leaves. So deck clerk come to room got tears in her eyes knowing it was fkd up tells me if I choose to stay I got to sign I choose to stay 😱 she was the only one that listened and care n was friendly I won't be back and ps there black mold in lobby air vents

On the bright side, the entire hotel is very lit up with great lighting and safe. This is fine for a one night stay over especially with a mini fridge and microwave convenience. Hot coffee in the am hours is a nice touch.

Asked for a non smoking room. Sign said it was non smoking, room reeked of cigarette smoke. The air conditioning did not work very well, so the room was very muggy. On Sunday the power went out so I had to leave earlier than planned. Was not impressed.

The manager accused me off top that I had more than 4 people with me when I didn't I went in the room no towels and it was filthy I found a crack pipe on the side of the bed and a used tampon under the sink and I had kids with me glad I always check out the room before they inter and they have black mole in the walls u can tell behind the TV in the room I was in and if u turn the air condition down all the walls and floor sweat's definitely a sign of mole in the room and my bass also nose started running after being in the room I will never stay again don't go waste of money

The manager accused me off top that I had more than 4 people with me when I didn't I went in the room no towels and it was filthy I found a crack pipe on the side of the bed and a used tampon under the sink and I had kids with me glad I always check out the room before they inter and they have black mole in the walls u can tell behind the TV in the room I was in and if u turn the air condition down all the walls and floor sweat's definitely a sign of mole in the room and my bass also nose started running after being in the room I will never stay again don't go waste of money

Pooja the general managerhas been the definition of leader and hard worker. Her staff hold her in high regard for everything and so they try to make one's experience pleasant.

I sent one of our employees there for work and he complained about burn holes in the sheets and general uncleanliness of the room. Staff took his shampoo and would not refund him directly.

Water on bathtub was not draining. Housekeeping not done during my stay. Really upset, checked out early, due to this issues. When issues where brought up to front desk, all the clerk said was “ok”, so I left the property.

Our door key did not work we had to switch it out TWO nights in a row (ridiculous)!. We had to call the front desk for clean towels, etc. we had NO housekeeping the entire 3 night stay. The hotel grounds wasn't the cleanest. The pictures on the website, is nothing like it is in person. I am shocked that Hotel.com will advertise and associate themselves with this hotel. Do Hotel.com check these hotels prior to listing them on their website??. We will not stay here ever again.

The tv didn’t work for 5 days. My microwave never worked my whole 10 day stay when I asked for a late check on my last day I was only given an hour considering all the issues I had. The bathtub felt like I was going to fall through it. Motel 6 needs to make sure they are being represented correctly. The place was busy almost every night for the condition of the rooms. Money is not being put back into the motel. I need to mention I was staying there because I was I between houses as I was moving to a new house I stayed there for 10 days.

I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone the room was nothing like what is advertise two towels no floor mat there were about eight different people that checked in before me and each one of them came down with the same request for towels only for me to go to my unit and have to come back down not only for towels but for clean linen so that I could change the bed myself because what was on there was atrocious and what I got considering they were clean was almost no better but it was one night I suffered through 15 minutes into my stay we have the police show up as they evict someone who has a large amount of things as if they have been in the unit for quite some time it was a very unpleasant experience

Shower curtain had mold stains . Tub was clogged and would not drain . Room smelled like smoke and my family endured it for one night and we will not choose this location again . Floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped at all . Breakfast area smells horrible almost like sewage . Hair in the sink was very gross brushing your teeth and having to see hair almost look like pubic hair .

Great staff. The front desk person gave me top floor. I said can't do stairs and she immediately switched the room and gave me bottom floor room. The room was clean. Bathroom spotless. The sheets were smelling good. Will certainly recommend my coworkers.

It appeared someone had used the room 'partially', then left it to appear cleaned. Additionally, Expedia lists this hotel as having a pool; it did not. Very disappointed. Regret having paid a non-refundable fee without seeing the room's conditions beforehand. Another unit was unavailable.

Rooms where clean and so where the linen Property has a nice view of georgetown marina Has continental break fast, enjoyed my morning coffee. The front lobby is very well done up for working and relaxing when looking for change. Guest laundry with in the property made life easy.

There is construction next to the property. It becomes quiet in the evening. The lock would not work on my room after the initial check in. The property is understaffed so it took an hour and a half to resolve the problem. My belongings were in the room and I couldn't leave the room until it was fixed (which didn't happen.) Management finally gave me another room.

This hotel recently converted to a Motel 6 and it appears they are updating all the rooms (saw two rooms being repainted while I was there). Room in good condition overall although no hygiene amenities or a coffee pot in room. This is my second stay in the past six weeks and I would stay there again. Sits in the river with a marina view.

Very newly remodeled, new clean bed. Flooring and bathrooms were dirty as staff did not clean well but otherwise nice and budget friendly. Better then any other Motel 6 I've stayed in.

The end table was waaaay too small and short. There was no room for two cell phones on top. I has to put the regular phone in the drawer. The toilet would not flush without taking the tank lid off each time. There was no coffee, kleenex, shampoo, or conditioner. The sink was cracked. Refrigerator worked but hummed all night. I had to set the clock. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The view was of nature. The mirror over rhe sink was modern and new. It was quiet all night. The bed had metal framing under it and springs. They squeeked just rolling over. The heater/ac was good. The hall accross the street was junky looking. The breakfast was sparse at best and the oj machine was out of order. We did not eat there.

I was on a business trip and stayed there for 4 days. Not once did anyone clean the room or even take out the trash or bring fresh towels. I guess like they say You get what you pay for.

Property is little old but room was very clean and spacious, shower was very good. Nice quiet place and staff were very friendly. Parking was adequate and well lit. Bed was extremely comfortable so that I had a very good sleep. Food options near by are very good. Good value for price in the town.

If you have meager standards, then this is the place for you. It was so dirty. It smelled moldy. The bathroom vent was moldy, and God only knows what else was stuck on it. The floors were dirty. There was broken glass by the chair. There was something sticky all over the chair. The bed was like sleeping on a box spring alone. The mattress didn't fit on one side. I still feel "skeezed" out by staying there. There needs to be some strict regulations for places like this. I believe it's a health hazard and shouldn't be allowed to operate like this. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Floors were dirty. Only had 3 tv channels and could not even get a news station. Could see handprints on headboard and bathroom mirror upon arriving

Very impressed by customer service provided by Chris over the phone and in person. Nice location and nice facility. Good value.

This property is disgusting. There were needles and trash and cigarettes all over the ground. People smoking weed at all hours. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my room alone. My boyfriend was working at left early. The room smelled like musty mold. The mattress cover was disgusting. The first set of sheets was dirty. At 830pm I requested a new set and the attendant didn’t know if she had any. We slept on a blanket we had in the car. We stayed because it was pet friendly and our friends were at the quality next door, which was significant better. I honestly think $111 a night was exceptionally overpriced for this hotel. I never felt safe or clean.

They may be trying to upgrade this place but they sure have a long way to go.

Dirty headboards, mirrors, sinks not working & floors filthy

it was a dirty property toilets did not work properly,mold and midew on the base boards ,carpets were dirty and the pillows were very uncomfortable i would choose something different in Georgetown

The first night, I was so tired that I went to bed without checking the sheets. In the morning, I noticed red spots on the sheet along where my left leg was. I also found a piece of hair that was not mine! I pulled the cover up on the other side where I had not slept and saw that it was dirty too. I complained to the manager and someone came and replaced the sheets and blanket, but the room was never cleaned during my 2-night stay. No one brought clean towels to the room. I went to the desk late Saturday night to get the towels. I could write more about this negative experience, but why bother? I'm not going back. If you decide to choose this hotel in spite of my comments, then I highly recommend that you check your sheets before getting in bed!
