    Worst hotel ever , wouldn't recommend you to stay in here. Wouldn't recommend you to stain in this hotel if you are arriving around 9 pm because they don't have front desk personnel to do the check-in I had a reservation and there was no personnel to attend me so I have to take an Uber and find another hotel!

    Very dirty . A lot of noise. Bad smell. To check in waited a long time and I was asked to step out the office while she help another customer and then when it was my turn another customer came into the office and she allow him to be there. Cared for other customer privacy but not mine. There was no instructions to check out and no one in the office. Terrible experience

    My stay at the WoodSpring extended stay hotel located in Gastonia NC was pleasant. I was surprised at how clean it was there was not a bug ( roach ) anywhere to be seen. When I first arrived I could smell cigarette smoke in my bathroom, I don’t usually complain but it became unbearable and it is a smoke free location. I let one of the staff members know and it was no longer an issue. Thank you! There is plenty of parking and it’s quiet. The price is good for having a double bed and kitchen some of the other hotels were the same price minus the kitchen.

    Absolutely disgusting, I did not even put my belongings down. At check in the lady was nice but stated that I already paid but "I may not like the room as at lot of people don't stay after seeing them." She was correct. I was a bit sketched out by the lobby but got my key as I had prepaid, took the elevator to my room and was getting more concerned as I made my way there. Upon entering I was assaulted with an absolute foul smell I can only describe as filthy. Which the room was, the floor was dirty, counters were dirty, bed frame had dirt and hair caked on it, and when I lifted the sheet the mattress was covered in human waste and other unmentionable stains, bugs, and human and pet hair. It was to the point that I would say the room was a safety hazzard and should be reported to the health department. I cannot believe that they rip people off this way. WoodSpring should be ashamed of themselves to have their name on this establishments and Hotels.com should be ashamed to be partnering with them.

    The staff were outstanding! However my first night in the room I was put in there were critters inside room including one in my bed definitely was a problem.! I was relocated to another room next morning. Had a lot of problems with room key one day it would work the next it wouldn't so with me getting off work late I would be locked outside til 7am or later til hotel employees began to arrive no free nights were offered even with being locked outside entire night, the one in the lobby used to reach company employees after hours DOES NOT WORK if you don't know someone their personally you will not have a way to communicate with them

    The room was dirty and seemed like another person just left, even tho I was supposed to check in at 3pm and it was 9pm. It was smelly, AC didn’t work properly. The bathroom floor coming up and the bathroom sink was leaking water. Towels had hair on them and sheets stains. I called for maintenance but they didn’t work that day. I was waken up by a false fire alarm at 6am, so I couldn’t rest properly and I was uncomfortable the whole time.

    I like that the lights work. The location..the rooms aren't rentable..the bed was hard pillows flat pillow cases dingy..reaking the smell of cigarettes..tub was terrible.. disgusting and should be for only homeless people. I deserve a full refund because the room was unacceptable and probably not up to code. I had to wait to get back to Atlanta GA to get a nice shower. This place needs to be completely renovated

Not a clean room, dog hair all over the floor, not a clean shower, bathroom was dirty, front door was very hard to open and close the door, labor work first thing early in the morning, they have my room away and someone was in my room and I had to wait for about 40 means to stay in a room that wasn’t clean.

We paid for our booking, and showed up less than an hr later only to find probably around 20 guys just hanging around the parking lot. Partying, and smoking weed. After several attempts to get reimbursement, we had to just leave. This place will steal your money, offers no apologies for this kind of behavior. The only reason they can’t reimburse your money is because they need it to operate because of a bad name. This is nothing but a trap for those traveling through the area. Very disappointed in this place!!

    I rented 2 rooms. The door was spilt in one room so you had to lift up hard to get it to close. It looked as though someone had tried to force the door open. There was a large gap in the door to the second room so all noise level was terrible. Both doors were unsafe. It was the worse hotel stay I have ever experienced.

    This place was absolutely disgusting. We booked last minute because it was cheap and the pictures looked good. We have 5 month old twins that were upset and extremely exhausted. The staff took forever and were completely unprofessional. When we walked into the room there was black stuff all in the bath tub. The lamp shade had burn marks all over it. The walls were yellow and there was stuff all over the walls and dressers it was DISGUSTING. No place for infants. When we told them about it they didn’t offer a refund, to clean the room or give us a different room.

    Elevator broken. Tried to place me on the 4th floor. Ended up on 2nd floor. As a travel nurse, I made A LOT of trips up and down those stairs to unload my and load my car. I cut my stay there short by 12 days and booked another hotel due to the heavy smell of the green herb that constantly lingered around the entrances. Oh and the name “Suites” is misleading as there is only a hard desk chair and bed in the room, nothing else to sit down on after working all day.

    Expedia had not faxed the Reservation so check in was a nightmare. Fortunately, they were able to find us a room. The room had not been clean and the bathtub was dirty. I had to clean it before I showered. There was only one clean towel When I went down to get another towel, no one was there. No breakfast.

    I booked online for what appeared to be a handicap accessible room with free parking and internet. I got a room on the third floor of a building with an elevator which was broken for at least two weeks (not mention on the webpage) and a requitrement that I sign a paper agreeing that they could bill me for toilet paper. I was too tired to care and went to my room to get some work down. Found the information to log on and began to log on. Got to the [check this box to agree to the terms and conditions] which was a link and I clicked to see the terms and conditions to read them before I agreed to them and go an error message that I was not connect to the internet so could not read that page. So I went back to the office and was given a code but the same thing happened. So to read the terms and conditions I had to agree to them before I read them. What kind of stupid lawyer would I be to do exactly what tell my clients not to. I would have never booked there without the wifi. Went back upstairs and found my door was broken and could not be locked. Downstairs AGAIN and the staff (who was nice but powerless) helped me rig a semisecure lock with the knowledge that after I left it might be fixed. Made me think of the term flophouse for the first time in a long time.

    While the bed itself seemed clean, the floor was so dirty, I walked around in my shoes. The shower and walls in the bathroom were dirty. The fan in the ceiling of the bathroom was missing the cover and was just caked with dust. The room smelled bad. Had there been ANY other options in the area I would’ve picked that over this hotel. With all that said, the lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful.

    This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. First, the good. The staff was excellent. Everyone from the front desk to maintenance to housekeeping were friendly and competent. Also, we met a number of long term residents and they were all quite friendly and we became friends with quite a few. The price was right and my mom and I each got a room of our own. Everything in our rooms functioned as required from lights to appliances. The area around the hotel has a lot of trees and is quiet at night with the exception of the freeway which is on the north side of the hotel. The bad: #1, there were roaches. I killed 2, and found 1 in my fridge, dead. I'm a super clean person and never left food or garbage out (even my garbage goes in the fridge) and yet still found two on the counter. #2- the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. I tossed all night and woke up with horrible back pain. #3- noise. Not just the interstate, which was expected. People fighting in neighboring rooms, people partying out in the parking lot. The room had a beat up feel with gouges in the walls, a missing door on the cabinet, etc. And nothing is supplied- no dishes, utensils, pans, not even a coffee pot or hair dryer.

Outside lots of people sitting in cars idling. the lobby could only hold 3-4 people max. One guest came in complaining his room door had been left open while he was out.     My stay was good, I had no problems, it’s a lot of families and their dogs that stay here so it made it comfortable, room was clean , If I had a complaint it would be the different smells from others cooking, kind of overwhelming when walking through the hallway

    This place was absolutely disgraceful! The location is very scary, its on a dead end road with no signage or lighting. The staff was rude and claimed there were no rooms then said there were 6 rooms but they were all dirty. He then magically found a room that was "clean". When he finally let me in to do my check in I noticed 3 cockroaches racing up and down the wall. The worker then informed me the room had no pillows. He brought me 2 pillowcases (dirty) and 2 pillows. The pillow on top had black spots, possibly mold, on the top and what the hotel worker described as pubic hair on the bottom. When I said I wouldnt be ises those pillows he brought out 2 blankets and told me to fold those and use them as pillows. I went to check the room and it reeked of pot! I can over look that, what I couldn't overloook was the multitude of dead cockroaches all over the counter tops as well as the stove and cutting board. The bathroom was just as disgusting, it came with both living and dead roaches and some odd black fuzz in the bathtub. I DID NOT stay in the room!

    Not a great stay. Rooms have barely any sound deadening so you can hear the guest down the hallway getting railed. Someone in the floor above me decided to start doing a kickdrum solo from a Slayer song at 3am for, no joke, 10 minutes straight. Shady characters in the parking lot when the sun goes down. Dirty room, my feet should not stick to the floors man. Just a bad time. I was supposed to stay for several nights and I checked out after the first night and went somewhere else. Still waiting on that refund btw.

    There was poop on my fitted sheet, I told staff and was told I’d have to bring it down stairs. I got a new fitted sheet, put it on bed and there was freaking poop on it AGAIN! Went back down stairs and guy at desk was Very very rude!! It’s as if they don’t wash the sheets or don’t care what they wash with sheets.

    It was good for what I wanted and for what the others that came as well but this isn't the Westin lol the staff I met were great but I'm sure they are limited because of pay hours ECT but they were helpfull

    There were a lot of people lingering around the property. Lots of drug sales and an abandoned gas station right down the street where drug sales were made. Overall the stay wasn’t bad, staff were really nice, and everything was clean but the area that this hotel is in, I would not recommend. I did not feel safe at all!

    very dirty , hair was everywhere , towels had stains , asked for new towels they had attitudes & even the new towels that they gave me were dirty. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

    no one was there to check me in... I called the property, while another gentleman rang their buzzer system and called on their phone system. 20 minutes. had to go to a different hotel. working on getting a refund and expedia cant get ahold of them either. not happy with how either company is handling this.
