I enjoyed the cleanliness, beautiful decor, and ambiance of the lobby area. Room was clean and spacious enough for 4 adults and all of our luggage. Breakfast was very good and well stocked with a wonderful variety of breakfast items both hot and cold. Your breakfast staff was polite, professional, and quiet. The breakfast staff was attentive to our needs. Eating/lounge area was clean and table set up was a nice touch. Lit firepit and seating area lent a relaxing and inviting feel. At check in, front desk receptionist did not notice I had purchased the room with breakfast. She neglected to provide the vouchers for both mornings. On departure morning, I was disappointed the breakfast layout was not ready promptly at 7am. This affected our timeline for traveling. In addition, the countertop on which the juices, cereals, and yogurt were to be placed upon had not been wiped down from the day before. Finally, as lovely as the bathroom was in our room, it would've been more efficient if the shower glass doors were frosted to provide some privacy and allow another person to use the sink at the same time.

The hotel met all expectations, The hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant place.

The power was out and they did the best to get everybody in the rooms.

The ONLY things we didn't love were that the pool area was SO loud that we ended up leaving when a group of about 7 young girls came for a birthday party. The echo and noise aggravated tinnitus in a dad in our party and he had to leave immediately. Our girls also said the pool was very cold so heat would be nice, even in May. We didn't love the sliding bathroom door that didn't lock and the hotel lobby reeked of fried food nearly 24 hours a day. You couldn't be there for more than 30 seconds without smelling like it. The smell was also up in our room on the second floor so we wished we had a higher floor. Their kitchen needs much better external ventilation. All in all a good stay, but with some minor complaints.

Breakfast not being included at this price point. Staff were good. Room was clean. However, there was a little bit of mold smell and spotting on the ceiling in the bathroom above the shower. You might want to check for mold and remediate.

Checked in to the first room and it wasn’t cleaned. Informed staff as they were awesome in fixing the issue. They immediately assigned us a new room and was still able to meet our accommodations.

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, clean and safe. Just a little issue with charging for items that we were told were complimentary like water. Puts a damper on such a nice stay.

Friendly staff great location. Room was clean and roomy. Restaurant had good food and excellent service. The location was perfect, lots of restaurants and convenient for traveling. They accommodated my two grandchildren for a sleepover. Pool was suppose to be heated but rather chilly.

Breakfast buffet small but everything was there including fresh cantaloupe and strawberries and great self serve latte machine. Bread options, yogurt , cereals and juices. I might consider staying again if it were not for the bed. If all Garden Inns are this good they will be what I look for in any other town I visit. Corporate should know this staff is going above and beyond to do their jobs. They had a new computer system installed and did not get proper training and that is NOT their fault. Corporate - Please do something nice for these great people!

Staff was excellent. Very friendly and hospitable. Room was nice, very comfortable. Loved the arm chair with ottoman and side table. Bed comfortable. Price was high, in my opinion. Did appreciate the better than average breakfast. Coffee had gone cold though in the dispenser.

The hotel was central to a lot of restaurants, shops and the wedding venue we were attending. There was a HUGE roach in our room when we got back from the wedding we were in town for. It made us so uncomfortable we no longer wanted to stay in the room initially assigned to us and went to the concierge desk about our concerns. We were met with a very nonchalant attitude as if the pest in our room was not a big deal and there was nothing that could be done to make us more comfortable. We were denied another room as the entire hotel “was booked” and then were told we could not get a refund for our one night stay repeatedly. It felt as though we had to BEG for a refund for the dirty hotel room we were provided. We did not enjoy our experience here at all and will absolutely not be returning here!!! This is the first time we have ever felt the need to leave a hotel and drive all the way back home late at night due to lack on cleanliness!

As a hostess at the wedding, I found myself having to speak to the hospitality manager multiple times brining to her attn issues that should have been immediately noticed. Serving tray was wobbly; could have resulted in a disaster. This should have been noticed as they filled the tray with food. Also, they actually ran out of silverware to be used with cake serving. NOT good as this should have been anticipated in any hospitality environment! They literally were picking up plates single handed from the table, instead of using a tray or a cart, which would have been most efficient! Serving statff as pleasant I might add. Outside of a few improvements/upgrades the stay was "ok".

Terrific location! Easy access to I85 and Charlotte airport with close access to restaurants and shopping. The elevator and room security measures were greatly appreciated!! The staff members were very helpful and friendly. Franklin was truly a pleasure to speak with via the phone and in person. The service staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was very clean and beautiful window treatments.The beds were quite comfortable as were the linens. I enjoyed the seating area in the entry and the dining area. The ice waters were very welcome upon entering. The parking lot was clean as were the outdoor fire pit and seating areas. I prefer the Hilton brand and this location did not disappoint...it met my expectations. My SO did not like Spectrum as the sole TV option. The interface and lack of content were his main complaints.

It was in a great location with food and shopping options within walking distance and a short drive to both stadiums. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the room was spacious, very nice, and clean. It was overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!

I spoke with the GM and was told Expedia messed up when the information was sent to them and was advised to directly book with the Hotel in the future to guarantee that I get the room I requested. Also we checked out early because of extreme noise issues and had ran out of soap which was provided by the Hotel and couldn't call the front desk because the phone didn't work in the room. What a bad experience! Extremely disappointed with this visit.

The desk though seemed to be not well serviced early in morning and late at night where I had to wait on multiple occasions to get to speak with staff. One morning (Wed) staff was missing from desk and restaurant area, and breakfast was not out at scheduled start time causing stress as I had an early morning departure and had prepaid breakfast in my room which all I got for it was a bagel to go :(

Tons of restaurant & shopping in the surrounding area. You could literally walk to Buffalo Wild Wings, Starbucks, & Olive Garden. The only complaint I have....I wish the pool hours were open later, but that's a personal preference. It closed at 9:30pm. We were there to see the lights at Christmas Town, so by the time we were finished up & back at the hotel, the pool had already closed. My little girl was very disappointed. Wished it had stayed open till about 11pm. Will definitely be staying here again if we're back in the area.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff. The lobby, the room, and even the elevators were incredibly clean. The outside patio with the fireplace is absolutly perfect for a North Carolina fall night with your partner. Very relaxing after a long day out. As a queer couple, my partner and I felt safe in the environment and were very happy with the quality of our stay.

Every time I stay here it’s amazing! The staff is great especially Mariah she is so sweet always checks me in fast so I can get some rest after a long drive she’s amazing, explains anything I needs to know always answers my questions.

The stay was a 5 star until it came to the room itself. The furniture in the room was VERY awkward in the arrangement like I've never seen before. My clean feet were black on the bottom from walking throughout the room. Meaning the floors looked clean but they were NOT. No shampoo in the shower as the bottle was empty. Microwave did not work to reheat my food from the onsite restaurant that I spent $325 with including tip. If I based my bias on the room itself the hotel would receive 2.5-3 stars honestly.

I like this property and stay here a lot when I’m in town for business. Only recommendation would be replace the office chair in the room as the leather on it was peeling badly. Nice chair just needs replaced.

While the room was clean overall, i requested an extra blanket and was brought the most disgusting olive green, pill ridden blanket that looked like dogs took it outside and slept on it for years. Keep in mind Hilton, even the smallest thing can ruin a stay.

Windows are thin, could hear everything outside on the highway. Hospital is nearby and could hear sirens all night. I’ve stayed at hotels near highways and none have ever been as loud as this one. Not a restful nights sleep.

Hotel is clean and the rooms are on point. Sad they missed my note about it t being my anniversary as last year they provide a nice surprise. Also breakfast is not free but they don’t tell you that until you sit down and start eating.

We were only in town for 2 days. It was very close to shopping areas and food which was definitely a plus. However, there was bugs one was on the wall and one was on the table where the lamp was, which was no threat and no I don't know what kind of bug but they lived a short life. Probably wouldn't recommend but if I had to I would stay again. Lol

First time at this hotel, we loved it

We have stayed in this specific many times and always had comfortable mattresses and bedding. Sorry to say that the mattresses this time felt like a second box spring which may actually be the case. Go to room 320 and check them out for yourself.

We had an excellent stay on a very brief trip. We came down to visit a friend and purchase a car from them, and then drive back home 7 hours to Northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. Our stay was the perfect respite for us— quiet, clean, and convenient. In particular, Mrs Sabrina, the evening house manager, and Jana at the front desk were very helpful and friendly during our time there. The kindness and pleasant interactions made all the difference to us! Highly recommend this location to stay at if you’re in the area!

Simply AMAZING!! Stayed here for a weekend and from the time I entered the lobby all the way to my room, I was simply impressed. This hotel should be listed as at least a 4.0 star hotel in my book. The rooms was roomy, clean, modern, with a 55' wall mounted TV. The bathroom was spotless!! And that shower...oh boy!! Definitely could easily fit 2 people in there and we never ran out of hot water! The hallways were super clean, the lobby area was very spacious and quiet. I will always stay at this hotel when I am in the area. Oh yeah, there are plenty of venues around to eat from or go shopping. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings next door that stayed opened to 2 am. I could rave about this hotel all day, but you have to experience it for yourself. I am one that reads reviews all the time when selecting where I stay, so I wanted to write one on this property because I truly enjoyed my stay. One more thing.. My wife and I slept like a baby! The bed was super comfortable, the pillows was soft and made you just want to snuggle. Enjoy!

Service is always top notch. I love their amenities and they are close to shopping and coffee!

Sheets had old blood stains. Should not be used. Could not call down for carry out food. Had to order in person.

My favorite place to stay in Gastonia

The hotel was so nice and so beautiful. And it was so comfortable to stay in. There were just so many wellthought out amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I lived in Bessemer City and come Olive Garden and Buffalo Wild Wings, but never had visited the Hilton. I remember it being built and was very impressed with staff and how professional they all were. Everyone was so friendly, kind. My next visit will be at the Hilton Inn my wife loved it. I do have a slight problem with the pricing of one night stay being $180 shy isn't breakfast included at $18 for buffet I'll go across the street at Golden Corral for a lower price and much more varieties. Everything else I was very satisfied

Nice, new-ishand large hotel. I was surprised that no one was at the front desk for what seemed like 5 minutes when I was trying to check in. Just an empty stool behind the counter. If you only have one person on the desk and they have to be away, a placard on the desk advising of that delay would be appropriate rather than an empty seat and no explanation. This was about 9pm so perhaps staffing is light at that time but still odd to have to wait around for someone to materialize from somewhere in the building.

Noisy highway

We checked into room and it had dozens of bugs. We walked right back out. Returned to front desk and the gal said it was a mistake someone had checked us into a room that was “off the market “ said they were “stink bugs that comes in through the air conditioner and we’re harmless.” We left and got a very nice room in another hotel.

Checked in room 408 had to get new sheets. Alot of hair was on them. In the bathroom they never removed the previous guess soap from showers. So i really don't know if my room was cleaned properly. I stay here all the time and this is the only bad experience I've had.
