Typical Wyndham Hotel, always clean but this one lacked action and a front desk person. Anybody can walk into this hotel, no questions asked, even if you’re homeless. There’s plenty of restaurants in the area and easy access the highways. GO CAINS!

Little to no decorations on the walls in our room and a hassock for a nightstand. No wash clothes or hand towels, just bath towels. Bare minimum, but it was fine. The lady at the desk was helpful.

The toilet paper was like sandpaper, not usable. The towels were extremely rough, but the worst part of all was that there was no hot water in the shower in the morning. We let it run for about 10 minutes and it got warm but never hot. That’s not acceptable under any circumstances.

Everything was great except the breakfast, eggs tasted fake and slimy, sausage was not good, the breads weren’t very high quality, but thank goodness for a last resort there were waffles.

Disappointed there was no business center. Night staff at front desk was very unhelpful. Seemed offended that they had to out down their book to help me. Never got wifi to work. Didn't want to answer my questions about Wyndham rewards. Very load parties in rooms down the hall after 10 pm. I travel a lot and rarely stay at Wyndhams. This visit reminded me of why I don't.

Overall it was a good stay, just wished the pool had been open (biggest reason we chose to stay here because of our boys). Breakfast was it normal. Friendly staff.

The room was clean, didn’t use any amenities, the bed was somewhat comfortable, and the breakfast was your standard continental breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage and waffles.

This hotel has breakfast if thats what they want to call it. It’s terrible. Nasty pork bacon and eggs, cereal, and bad tasting cheap juice. I couldn’t eat breakfast not one day that I was there and that was part of the reason i picked this hotel. They need turkey n egg whites vegan options. Was there five days n they didn’t clean my room until the day before i was leaving after i requested it be clean day 3 of me being there. They have no vending machines. I will never stay there again. 0 out of 10 I don’t recommend

I travelled here from DC for the weekend. The front desk area was under construction but there were no disruptions or debris. The room and other areas were clean and the staff was helpful when I locked my key in my room.

The room was more spacious than any other hotel like hampton inn. Definitely great for bringing the kids along too. Staff was amazing but the breakfast waa regualr and not an option for people who dont eat pork.

We had a short but easy stay here. Check in was simple and fast, the room was clean and spacious. Very quiet at the property. Would have liked a few more options at breakfast but I think they're remodeling and their space was limited. So they did provide what they could and was fine for our needs

The room was clean, staff very helpful, had difficulty keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was provided but would have liked a meat choice other than pork sausage.

While the hotel breakfast area was in the midst of a renovation, the hostess (I believe Carolyn?) went above and beyond to still serve ample selection with a smile. Both front desk staff members were very pleasant and efficient. Room clean and comfortable

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was quiet and temperature control was good. The in-room coffee was terrible. We had already decided to go out for breakfast but I took a quick look at the buffet and it looked kind of skimpy.

The staff were all very nice and helpful. Rooms appeared to be updated, were clean and had all we needed. The refrigerator was nice because it had a separated freezer. Bathrooms were stocked and clean. Wifi is included and worked well. Breakfast was good nothing fancy but had options. The area was quiet and near stores/ restaurants. They were in the middle of refurbishing the lobby but did not affect us.

The room and bed was comfortable. I didn't like the old vending machines and thelat the ice machine was on the 3rd floor. My mom was on the 1st floor and couldn't get ice because of her fear of elevators. I see that renovations are going on so may want to consider newer vending machines that take cards as well and I've machine on each floor. I also feel the breakfast could've been better. Also it took a long time for the water in the bathroom to heat up.

Staff was all very friendly, but Carolyn, who handled the food service went above and beyond. She is the face of Wingate. Obviously she loves her job and exudes cheer and service. She needs special recognition! Nothing. Lobby area and food service area are still being renovated but it was no inconvenience for us.

The location was perfect for being close to raleigh and another location we needed to visit during our stay. The staff was super sweet and helpful. Nothing at the fault of the hotel or its staff. There were just some people having arguments in the hallways and adjacent rooms over the course of the first night that leaked over into our room. it was hard to sleep but the second day was quiet as a mouse.

If im being picky...the Towels were a little stiff, but for the location and price it was not a deal breaker. I will definitely stay again.

Parking was close to the entrance, close to the Raleigh Convention Center. The location was ok, the property wasn’t easily seen until your drove up to it. The bed’s were not very comfortable.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown so very easy access to the Raleigh convention center. The hotel is on a quiet and safe side street. Safety is hugely important to me when traveling with just me and my daughter. Every staff member I engaged with was so friendly and helpful. My daughter actually left her portable speaker as we were rushing out early in the morning on the day of our departure and we were able to return later that day before we left town to get the speaker with no issue. Nothing to note here. Everything about my stay was perfect. I have no notes on anything that I didn't like.

We loved our room with the exception that we didn't have hot water for our showers, it got lukewarm at best. The clerk that checked us in was very nice and conversational. We had the complete opposite clerk at check out, she didn't even look up when I returned the key or when I tried telling her about our water issue. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I was somewhat skeptical about the existing customer ratings being that this hotel is noted as a 2.5 Star. It really felt more like a 3 or 3.5 star. It was comfortable and clean. I did see that simple things could use renovations, such as the bathroom door. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.

There was a remodel going on, but they did their best to accommodate. Message I received AFTER I booked said through June, but obviously it was still going on. Breakfast was wonderful, loved the cook - she was a doll! All the staff were great. Remote for the TV needs new batteries, couldn't even pull up a menu. Not sure why that was.

The infestation of ants!! They got in my husband’s laptop, in my pants & in the bed!!

First off, this hotel is undergoing a major renovation, so please understand that you will be walking into a construction zone. I was not told this when I booked. Table saws start around 9:00 am. The room was clean and comfortable, but did not look anything like the photo in the listing - which helped my decision to book. They said "daily housekeeping" for my several-day stay, but bizarrely, someone entered my room each day to do one thing: fold the towel I had in front of the shower and place it back on the tub. No beds were made or anything. The toilet didn't flush well. Friendly kitchen staff - nice basic breakfast. This stay was not cheap - it would've been nice to know a bit more about what I was in for when I booked.

It was under construction and we did not know that. It was a mess of sheetrock dust and construction debris.

Renovation was on main floor which left everything covered in dust. Made my husband go into asthma attacks and had to use nebulizer twice daily. Breakfast was out of a closet with no tables available to sit. The woman who was in charge of breakfast was the bright spot. She was very positive and an absolute joy. She needs a raise

I think if there hadn’t been renovations going on I would have enjoyed my stay, but this place should have been closed for this time. I didn’t find out about the renovations until the day we were supposed to check in, had I known I would have booked elsewhere.I constantly had to dodge workers coming in and out of the hotel. When I checked in there was no front desk available and I had to put my bags on the dirty floor just to sign in at the table that was the check in area. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean and that’s the only reason I didn’t give it one star. When we finally got to the room, there was a sickening smell in it. I finally figured out it was coming from the bathroom, I don’t know if the renovations had kicked something up in the pipes or what but it smelled disgusting. The toilet would malfunction when you tried to use it, sometimes it would flush and sometimes it wouldn’t but it was constantly filling with water so it never shut up. I can honestly say I wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you have no other choice. The highlight of our stay was the courteous staff and the comfy bed. We decided not to have breakfast the next morning because they would be serving it in basically the same area that they were renovating, and that morning the smell from the bathroom made me throw up. Next time I will be looking elsewhere.

This hotels was ok. The room i had, the bathroom had an oder. Smelled it as soon as i opened the door. This oder never when away. Even atfer i cleaned it. Great stay but the hotel rooms need more mirrors. One mirror in the bathroom was not enough. Lots of blank walls, plenty of space to add mirrors. It was difficult when multiple people are trying to get ready.

We have a tempurpedic and we always have a hard time sleeping on hotel beds. This was the most comfortable hotel bed I can remember being on.

Nice place in a good location but they are in the middle of a renovation that from what we could tell was sorely needed. Go there when that is finished- the current is a bit to the shabby.

The property itself was okay clean staff was very friendly only thing I didn't like was the bed was too firm and the pillows are too soft I would prefer the bed to be soft and a pillows to be firm the shower head in the shower probably need to be changed because I couldn't adjust it oh and the thermostat in the room was set to 73 I couldn't change it even though I got cold later on that night I couldn't even cut the heater on it wouldn't let me change that either so those are the things I would change but other than that my stay here was okay

I requested a new room and was told u would get a new room, and I didn't.

One night stay. The hotel is undergoing renovation, but we were not disturbed at all by noise ir disruption. Room was clean and comfortable. We ate at a bar grille at the next corner, which was good too.

On the other hand, the staff were very nice and customer oriented. The room was clean. The bathroom was cleaned every day.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. It would've been nice to get a heads up from the hotel that they were undergoing renovations during our stay. Even though it was in the upper 80s the whole week, the outdoor pool was closed, which was a bummer. There's really nothing of interest within walking distance of the hotel. The furniture was all scuffed up and the carpet had some stains and tears in it and the bathroom had cracked floor tiles as well as the shower. The TV was difficult to use (no guide/menu, you just have to flip through every channel). The spa, which was just a small gym, was closed because construction workers were using it as storage. Overall, this was what I call a "pass through hotel." If you're just staying the night, it's a good spot, but for a vacation with the family, I would not recommend this place. Not a great experience.

Property was very quiet and safe. Walking distance to a gas station and good restaurants. It is currently undergoing renovations so the inside is a bit dated and worn, it was however, very clean and it should look beautiful in a few months.

I little off the beaten path for me....depends on where you need to be I suppose. Other than that...everything was pretty good. They are in the process of remodeling, so there is some hubbub about that, but not anything that would bother you unless you just can't stand the sight of construction. Breakfast was pretty standard but good...dont really have any sugnificant complaints...would certainly stay there again. People were great.

The room next door was very loud.

Everyone working here is kind and hospitable. The breakfast bar was immaculate. The hotel is being remodeled and is in need of remodeling, but construction begins and ends at a reasonable time, so it isn’t disturbing, and we hardly glimpsed construction crews.

Every morning cold shower

Property being renovated. Did not see anything on their website when we originally booked. Work was supposed to start at 9:00 AM. Was woken up at 6:30 7:00 every day (including Saturday) by construction noise. Could not be in our room during the day due to the noise. Parking was very limited due to construction dumpsters and workers. Did not feel safe having to park in the very back of the parking lot at night. Staff was not helpful.

Front desk staff was great. Property undergoing renovations but rooms are very nice. Breakfast from 6:30-9am is a good time frame. Not too far from restaurants and stores. About 10 minutes from Raleigh Convention Center.

We have stayed here a few times. It meets our needs, is affordable, has a good enough breakfast and location to NC State and downtown is good.

Place is quiet

The front desk staff, cleaning staff, and breakfast staff were all super nice and accommodating. The entry into the hotel is nice and well kept. The rooms themselves need updating. I do not travel a lot but the basics like updated mattresses seems like it would not be too much to ask for. The rooms truly are dated and I truly hope this will be something the owners consider, considering everything else was great. Thank you to the staff for great service.

Perfect for the price. Nice accommodations that met our needs. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. We stayed here previously and will return again.

Convenient location to NC State University. I have stayed at the other hotels in the surrounding area. This is the one. This hotel had a decent breakfast, a big & clean room with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom amenities. Fast & free WiFi. Friendly front desk personnel. Will definitely stay here during my next visits.

My room was very clean, and it was a quiet space. I slept extremely well.

Front desk and breakfast people were professional and friendly. Room clean but room needs to be remodeled. It has worn carpet, worn furniture, and rusted chipped bathtub and water damaged wooden bathroom door.

My girlfriend and I were visiting to see family and ended up getting in late and were very happy with our stay. We got there after midnight and Adrian was at the front desk and I have to say was one of the friendliest desk attendants I have met at this time of night. Cheerful and very welcoming. The room was spacious and cozy and we got a great night sleep. We travel ALOT in all sorts of hotels comfort and luxury and I was not disappointed at all with our stay. Would definitely stay again!

I can’t believe you don’t have snacks, drinks at front that you can purchase, had to go up and down to different floors to get water from machines. My room was decent, but elevators were dirty, not the best but you get what you pay for I guess.
