The hotel was so lovely, they had complimentary coffee, teas, water, and hot chocolate and the rooms were beautiful. The only cons were there are no microwave in the rooms and the team seems pretty lazy but they were nice.

The room and overall hotel was clean but the walls were paper thin. Every time someone opened there door or talked in their rooms i confused it for mine and as a result barely got any sleep. Also even though the front desk is open 24/7 and I had confirmed that with the front desk the day before I checked out. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone when the morning of my departure arrived. I almost missed my uber even though I called the front office 3 times, was making noise in the reception area and knocking on staff doors. They had a sign saying be back in 5-10 minutes but I waited over 20 and nothing. It was clear the front office workers were asleep and couldn’t hear anything happening at the entrance of the hotel. Imagine if I had an emergency! Overall 2/10 would not recommend!!

TV would not respond to any of the remotes that were used or substituted by staff.

The room are nice. You do have to pay for parking which is not secured. They do not do room cleaning unless you request it the day before, and you will be charged for it as well. The property is non smoking, yet when you complain about someone smoking they don't seem to be concerned.

Nice property and very convenient location

We got a room with two queen beds and it was quite spacious. The staff was responsive and nice. I would have liked for one microwave to atleast be on each floor if not each room instead of everyone having to share one downstairs. I really loved our room because it was spacious, modern and traditional at the same time. It doesn’t smell bad but I wish it could have had a fresher smell. All in all I would rate it a 7/10

Second time now there was no staff in the front desk when I wanted to check in, waited over 15 mins. They still have that absurd parking fee.

I was very upset with the whole out come. My room had stains on the floor, a cracked wall mirror and a broken lamp. There was a morning female staffer who was very rude. They will charge you a holding fee of $250 on top of what you paid for a room. They charge you $12 a day for parking on a property that they don't own. Part of the property sits on lot that belongs to a Caesars restaurant and they will charge you for parking there. I've checked out on a Monday and I still haven't received my holding fee yet. They are really scamming people. I don't recommend this place for a stay.

The room was clean and big and the staff were very nice. However, my unit number 404 is right by there road and in order to drown out the sound from the main road you must close your windows turn on the AC and play white noise. Also, the pool was closed and there was their health department sign on the gate to the pool. Lastly, the coffee machines did not work during my entire time and the vending machine on 2nd floor was out of drinks. If they simply fix these minor issues they could get a higher rating.

I’ll be a costumer on Expedia for too many years and this is the fist time the hotel charges $250!the security deposit, room window too much outside light, to hard to go to sleep, plumbing drain to noise. Hotel was clean and convenient location.

Liked how spacious the rooms were, so much space. Very clean and comfy and modern. Nice pool ! Also loved the free coffee and other hot drinks as well as free water, many different flavours still and sparkling. The deposit is quite big and I haven't gotten it back yet. Hope I do. Also we were put in a room outside, next to the pool by the highway, couldn't sleep due to noise but I'm a light sleeper

I stayed at this property a few times and always have a great day! The room are clean,air conditioner works you have to pay for parking but not an issue.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was $12/day and they charge $3 per package if you wanna order/ship anything to yourself. They also charge for late checkout. My stay was absolutely comfortable and great for a one night stay that is close to everything.

Had a pool, so my kids where happy. Had free hot and cold beverages and ice. Parking lot was small and parking was $12 a night. The beds were not made up and room not cleaned for second night.

Nice espresso machines and soda water in the lobby. Room was beautiful and spacious and beds were really comfortable. Bathroom was new and clean and staff was really friendly. It’s surrounded by things that look run down but don’t let that fool you. It’s not run down and the area wasn’t dangerous.

So I've stayed three Mondays in a row. $150 security deposit whatever. The second time it was 250. The third time it was $250 on a 5 to 7 Day hold. Not acceptable. I posted a Google review with the same information I will not be staying at the Hollywood Inn & Suites again.

They are out of the ordinary to charge for parking a car inside their property. Being that the property the building is in excellent condition the finishes Equally but the area is not like the best and is not the best staff service the service people especially in reception do not have empathy nor try to soften obviously the minimum rules the attitude is quite badly trained because I do not think it is the personality but it is the bad training they have received I don't come back again nop....

Very disappointing experience. The front desk service was unprofessional and unfriendly. The female staff member was cold and dismissive, and seemed more focused on her phone than helping guests. When I arrived on March 25, 2026, I waited about 10 minutes. She told me to wait and continued using her phone. I politely said “excuse me” twice, but did not receive any response. During that time, several other guests were waiting as well. I had already booked and paid for my 4-night stay online, and I did not cause any inconvenience. During my stay, I considered extending for one more night, but I did not feel comfortable due to the service. When I checked out, I said “thank you” and “goodbye,” but there was no response. I hope the management can improve customer service in the future.

Brilliant hotel but location was terrible lots of homeless and dodgy characters and long walk from anything would definitely recommend booking something in a safer area closer to Santa Monica or Hollywood. Stay away from this hotels location unless you want to get mugged or have your car broken into.

Location is nice but there was construction going on during our stay and started at 5am and would end around 3pm which would cause us to wake up early. Was located on the second floor and the people staying on the third floor you can easily hear their footsteps and them talking. Hotel is not soundproof

Honestly for the price it wasn’t too bad but it was a small room and there was some spilled liquid in the elevator that stayed there till morning time and when it was cleaned up it had been there so long it dried and stained the floor which obviously was not cleaned thoroughly. Check in was quick and easy and so was check out . Free coffee and hot chocolate all day and night is definitely a plus . Seems about 20 to 30 minutes away from everywhere I went over the weekend while visiting LA for the Revolution event . Not the best looking neighborhood either. Was a okay budget freindly hotel would recommend if u are trying to save money and need a few nights to stay .

Very spacious room. However, there were a lot of ants in there, especially in the bathroom. About the staffs, some were sweet, some seemed to have a little attitude towards travelers. Nice coffee/drink machine in the lobby. The area around there isn’t very interesting. But its pretty quiet and peaceful (while I was staying)

What an amazing surprise we truly enjoyed this hotel. We will be staying here again. Wow the staff was excellent. The coffee and the water in the lobby. Every single morning was amazing. It was conveniently located. It was not a problem driving around getting to where we needed to be from the hotel. Our room was roomy a very nice size the housekeepers cleaned it immaculately we truly enjoyed our stay. we will stay here again while we can’t get over how friendly the staff was and how amazing the hotel was. We really don’t think that it’s getting into justice as far as reviews and so forth it deserves a 10 star if possible 10 star all the way 100 star all the way.

Microwave and a Clothing Iron should be included as standard amenities in rooms that come with a refrigerator.

It's close to the highway and easy to get on and off, making it a convenient location for a very good price. The parking lot is also huge! There is plenty of space to park if you happen to rent a car. I loved my stay and would return if I'm in the city again.

This is a nice place, good condition and the best hotel in this area of Los Angeles / Gardena. Lots positives. Hot water all day , lots of towels, friendly workers around the facility ( front desk, muh, I am thinking in this hood, they take alot of crap from people, hince the low key attitude. ) despite that I recomend this place. You can skip the $12 dollar parking fee, get there, unload your bags and park on the street, 1/2 block away for free. Its across te street , west of the property. for the best places to shop and eat, head west to Hawthorne or even better Torrance a few miles away. freeways are close by. the ocean is 15 min away , head west down the 105 freeway.

No microwave in room (sorry, it is a necessity) though one was avaliable below the 2st floor.

The rooms are moldy! And when I say mold I mean you can smell it and taste it in the air. I was in that room for 20 minutes and couldn't stop sneezing. I had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to come to the front desk and when I asked for another room and the front desk lady spoke with the manager about "the mold" like they know its an outgoing issue. Told me they had no more rooms available and offered me a refund. I had to spend over and hour on the phone with expedia to try and get my refund. Expedia said it took so long because front desk wouldnt pick up the phone. Worst hotel experience ever. I forgot something in the room and by the time they picked up the phone they told my stuff had been trashed. Im sure the staff stole my belongings.

Broken flimsy remote and a broken table in the room upon arrival. Poor parking Again it was "fine" for me but i wouldnt bring my family here on a vacation

I decided to book my vacation stay at the Hollywood Inn and Suites because it was the most affordable and ohhh boy, what a bad stay! (we stayed for 4 nights total). First night checking in, the lady at the front desk did not smile or greet me upon check in. She asked me if I would like housekeeping service everyday or every other day. I proceeded to tell her that "I'd like housekeeping service everyday". Housekeeping did NOT come everyday like I asked, they came every other day. On top of that, EVERYDAY early morning around 6am, I can hear housekeeping LOUD outside my room. It disturbed my sleep. The rooms have NO MICROWAVE so if you're traveling and eating out, do NOT even bother bringing your food back to the hotel to reheat the next day. They have a SEPERATE door near the front lobby (a door that goes downstairs to the basement or whatsoever). They have a STAND there with 2 microwaves standing and placed in the middle of a stairway randomly, it looked ghetto. When it was time for me to checkout, I heated my food in the ghetto scary stairway microwave and proceeded to eat in the lobby, the front desk then approached me and told me that I could NOT eat in the lobby (keep in mind, I am checking out and wanted to eat real quick before my flight). Since, I could NOT eat in the lobby, I had to go back to room just to eat. Oh, did I mention the SMALL and SLOW elevators also that could hold only TWO PEOPLE (there is also a sign posted on the elevator that says 2 people only!).

The hotel is beautiful rooms are nice. I would definitely stay there again because of that. The staff on hand is very rude and cold, which was the worst part. I stayed there for two weeks.

The room was in good condition, staff was pleasant. The room has a hair dryer however there's no iron. There's nowhere to park around the property so you have to park in the parking lot and they charge you $12 a day I think that's ridiculous I will not be back.

Worst hotel ive stayed in by far , i had to be transferred to another room because i seen a roach inside of my room. only to go to the other room where it had bed bugs !!! i was in room 103 where i saw roaches and 406 where i seen bed bugs. so disgusting. i was up at 3am shaking my clothes out just so i didnt transfer them to my car.

The rooms were in good condition yet housekeeping wasn't consistent to clean our rooms and the staff member at check out had a bad attitude towards me and the other two guests at the hotel and even worse over the phone. She was also a terrible listener with sub-par customer service skills.

Even though they say 24x7 check in, the front desk is closed for hours at a time everyday. I travelled for 6 hours and met someone else who had travelled for 14 hours and both of us had to wait for an hour to check in. The front desk was also closed the next morning when I had a question to ask

We didn’t sleep at all, we wanted to check out, but we were trapped inside and reception called us and said police asking not to leave the rooms. The day after, woman at the reception was very rude and didn’t help us with the late checkout or even the baggage storage. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here, even the reception has equipped with bulletproof glass and they said it is because there are a lot of homeless people coming there and some of them are inadequate.

My fiancé had got bit by bed bugs more then 4 different times we stayed in room 406 I believe so it was unattached from the main building close by pool and wow let me tell you! We stayed previously in the main building but this was the first in the unattached and not a great experience at all!

The hotel rooms are large and very clean and parking is good. The area around the hotel is not very nice but if you have a car LAX is a short drive away.

Room is good .. but there is no proper door for rest room , there is no safety lock for main door that you can lock from inside so that others can’t enter easily . Not changing towels and soaps daily basis for everything we need to request .

There’s additional parking fee of $12. The bath tub is extremely tricky to use. I couldn’t close doors of the drawer. Some bulbs of lights were dead. But overall building has good looking and has been well managed. Clean and price was very reasonable.

The room was spacious and clean. Staff were courteous and the bus stop out the front was convenient. However, the $40 early check in fee is steep, the area is how you doing for tourists, and noise travels so the guests talking in the hallway and stomping around their room upstairs kept us up late. Despite the nice room, I wouldn't stay here again due to the noise and location.

The location might seem a little bit away from downtown Gardena, but the combination of the LAX Connector and the #5 bus means it only cost $1 to be dropped off at the door. The other buses #2 and #4 stop is just around the corner and will take you pretty much everywhere. Even pretty close to the door of Hertz for that longer trip. There's a laundromat and convenience store directly across the road. What more could you want for a business trip. All round the place was great for my needs.

Scared by man staying next door. Tried to force himself on me in the elevator and was throwing his belongings in the hallway when I checked out. The closest building is a liquor store so I worry it’s just not a good area.

It had the atmosphere and overall feel to the establishment as a minimum security detention facility more than a hotel. Not a place to stay if you have stayed at a pervious 3 star hotel in your life.

It was good interior and clean hotel but i think there is a problem with safety which hotel took precautions its still problematic because we saw cops coming in the first day and second day screaming in the middle of our sleep and it took for an hour . surprising find in that area of LA. Near spotless room (double queen), could see som wear and tear on the bathroom door (sliding door that doesn't shut completely for full privacy, the railing for the doornwas a bit rusted) and one of the dresser drawers didn't close didnt close all the way. but it was clean, smelled good, AND very cool coffee and water machines in the lobby. lots of nice touches oberall.

The hotel is as expected. The only negative point, in my opinion, is the parking fee. Considering that in that location it's impossible to find a place without renting a car.

This was the only hotel I have been in the world that did not have a closet or even hangers to hang the clothes. The room had no table or chair to work on, or even sit. I had to send emails from my bed as that was the only option and keep the clothes on the floor. I asked the front desk for support with these matters and they literally ignored me and told me that my room had no closet, no chair, no hanger. Very dissapointed, and certainly will never be back at that "motel", rather than being called a Hotel!

Nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Crying kids, showers from other rooms, mini frig running, a/c loud. People upstairs fought and stomped on floor until 1:30 am. If you a lite sleeper don't stay. Nice clean hotel. No internet. It was down. When checking in, they had to take a picture of your credit card and driver licences and send it to another property to check in.

First internet was HORRIBLE (-2) , second no cleaning in ANY of the days (-1), lastly: no table for laptops (-1)

Didn’t like the idea of charged parking and had zero security and shared parking with a closed building that used to be a restaurant. Also didn’t like the idea that your room is not cleaned daily. Was not informed by staff that you have to ask for. Cleanup. However the lov y is very clean and love the coffee machines and flavoured water station accessible 24 hours. Would stay here again if parking was free (since there is No security) and rooms were cleaned daily without asking for a cleaning. Beds were very comfortable and room was very spacious

The motel was very clean! Beautiful room! There was a 30 minute walk to the closest restaurant, through a very shady neighborhood. The two restaurants close by had been boarded up for a long time and were scary to walk by. I felt safe in the room and when a Uber picked us up but didn't feel safe walking anywhere.

There's coffee / water machine at the lobby which already better than my stay at a BW hotel which only provide instant coffee packet. Parking is right behind the hotel which is good. Didn't look into the area, but as how the hotel lobby setup (thick glasses divider between customer and staff at reception, multiple surveillance cameras), it seems the area maybe unsafe? At least that's the feeling it gave me. But overall, it did exceed my expectation.

The water tasted bad and had a strong odor.

Beds were comfortable, pillows were not. The room was very clean! There was 24hr complimentary coffee and drinks available at the front desk. Only annoyance is that I was chargred for 3 days of parking even though I techinally only stayed for 2 days.

One of the biggest issues was the window—there was no proper shade or curtain, and the bright hallway light shone directly into our room all night. It felt more like a dorm than a hotel. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

I called the front desk to complain, not sure if they did anything about it because the people staying right next to my room continued to bang on the walls, play loud music, and yell. The deposit fee is exaggerated $250!? I’ve stayed in better places where the deposit is only $50 or $100. Not worth it specially for the location. I greeted a front desk staff in the morning even though I am the one who had a horrible night, she ignored me. Not staying here ever again.

The inside of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, modern and stellar clean hotel. It is like it looks in the photos. They have a lot to offer: big clean modern lavish rooms, coffee, tea , juices, pool all clean and beautiful for a great price. The hotel is near various places to visit and the staff is very kind and accommodating.

I had issues with my key card several times, I had to come downstairs to have it fixed it was truly a pain. The elevator situation was also annoying it was slow and only allowed two people in there.

This is a decent hotel for the area. It's clean and comfortable. The shower set up is a bit awkward, but once you figure it out, or they come and show you how it works, it's ok. Staff is very friendly. I would stay there again if I was in that area.

It’s an okay location, i didn’t mind the room but it always smelled like bleach and clorox everywhere in the building and the water smelled really weird. I guess you could say it smelled like old water???

Stayed 4 nights. I requested for housekeeping and not one time did they come to change my linens or empty the trash, however at the time of checkout miraculously they showed up prior to my checkout time. I did however enjoy the room, nice and modern. I would also recommend front desk staff not allow guests to be so loud in the lobby at 2am.
