Beautiful hotel clean and friendly, the mattress was too hard, it hurts my hips when sleeping on side, and the pillows were lumpy like a motel pillow. Unfortunately, I will not return unless they have mattress pads available in the future. The breakfast hot food was not good quality but the muffins were delicious!

PROs: Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was similar to most, but a bit better. Rooms were tidy. Large fridge. Easy parking and some was shaded. CONs: Property and rooms were a bit worn--scraped paint on many doors, and not the newest appliances. Biggest complaint is mildew-smelling rooms. We had 2 and both pungently needed new shower curtains. Dinner TIP: Angela's, a nearby mom-and-pop Italian, surprised us with their flavors. It seemed like a locals' choice for takeout pizza.

A lovely experience our first time there that was about three years ago and we continue to go every year we love the staff. They’re very friendly. The pool needs to be better cleaned but overall it’s clean enough to go swimming in and they love pets. Breakfast is great. The breakfast women are amazing.

I only stayed 2 nights and had a room with a kitchenette. There was everything you could need to cool and stay for a long time. The fridge was standard sized and even had a garbage disposal in the sink. Highly recommend

Oh my, what a breakfast bar. I've never seen so many different options this side or Brunch. Not only did they have the regular items like Cereals and Continental items but scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes but they also had all the trimmings to go with them. When was the last time you saw Chives, Cheese or Onion to go on your eggs. The size of the room was exceptional not only was there a TV in the living room but there was one also in the bedroom. a large shower and vanity. Full size fridge and a kitchenette. And the Pool was heated!!! It was a bit out of the normal location for a hotel but it was quiet.

Breakfast buffet was amazing and quite a selection that pleased our large crowd for my daughters college graduation not to mention the spacious rooms & comfortable beds, we'll be back

The room was spacious. Had a full kitchen in the shower. Pressure was strong when I took my hot shower at night. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. The best part about it was I was able to bring my pup with me on the trip and she had a cozy stay in the living room as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Very clean room with good size bathroom, has a good size kitchen with utensils and pots if you want to cook, full size refrigerator, and microwave. Lobby staff is very nice and serves breakfast every morning. Has a gym and pool and area to play sports.

The location was very convenient to restaurants, fuel, access to freeways. Breakfast was a nice touch. The guys working the lobby were friendly and welcoming. The grounds were very pretty, good landscaping, mature trees, and lots of white roses all around the property. Adequate parking. The common areas were clean and well lit. We felt safe in the area. Two things affected our stay, both noise related. We're not necessarily sensitive to noise, but our room was in the far back of the complex, parallel to the freeway and it was a bit noisy at night when we tried to sleep. If we had known, we could have requested a room towards the entrance of the property. That might have helped. The second thing was that the ice maker and the air conditioner would clatter and wake us both through the night.

This is the place I will always stay when I’m in Fresno. The staff and their customer service is amazing. It’s quiet, the rooms are clean and updated. I feel so comfortable and safe staying here. Carrie, in food service is my favorite person! The breakfasts are amazing! I will definitely be staying here again and again.

The waffle maker was broken it should have been a sign or not even brought out to the breakfast area but the main thing was I was given a second floor room then no sooner do I get there within 20 minutes the elevator breaks goes out of order I'm an elderly woman who uses a cane instead of hit and placement and it's very difficult to walk up and down stairs I don't know how long it was out of service no one informed me whether it fixed or not so I had to walk up and down the stairs

Elevators didn’t work and we were on the 3rd floor. It was fine but if we were staying longer or had our kids it would have been an inconvenience.

we discovered that the daybed was extremely dirty and unsanitary. There was a floss pick lodged in the cushions, crumbs throughout, and the entire room had a strong odor suggesting it had been smoked in. In addition, there was visible pet hair, hair on the kitchen sponge, and various stains and marks on the walls. Overall, the room was in a very disturbing and unacceptable condition.

The breakfast was just okay, but the waitstaff was very friendly and kept the food and coffee supplies adequately stocked. The TV in our room was the worst. The remote was unfriendly and we couldn’t stream any of our services. Wished I would have brought my cables for the back to mirror my iPhone. We were there for 4 nights and never saw housekeeping once so we ran out of clean towels and Kleenex. The AC roared when on but it worked. All in all it was just okay for the price but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I truly love that Sonesta accommodates pets!!! We have a tabby cat, she is beautiful and bougie! Having her here with us and having not to worry, truly made our stay even better!! Every staff member was friendly.

The kitchen staff is absolutely fantastic, so kind and friendly, willing to have a friendly conversation, and they always keep the food fully stocked! Breakfast is good, waffles would be nice to have, but I definitely appreciate the healthy choices. Laundry is great and very accommodating.

The property was nice and clean and staff was nice. The breakfast was tasty, but it was only until 9 during the week, which was a bit inconvenient. The hot tub was out of service and we were really looking forward to enjoying that. The elevator was also out of service. It overall served its purpose for our stay, but the amenities being out of service was a bummer.

The staff were friendly, kind, so helpful… The room was just what we needed, though my kiddo said the fold out bed was really uncomfortable. Breakfast was delicious and provided so much variety! Hands down, the neat experience!

We stay there for state wrestling tournaments. Nice and spacious. Clean and everything works. Full kitchens.

Stayed for one night. King bed suite. Room is nice and spacious and bed was comfortable. Window was thin so we heard freeway noise until we fell asleep. Couldn’t seem to find an ice machine but front desk said we could get ice through breakfast attendant. Breakfast attendant was a little grumpy and didn’t seem to want to be bothered but we all have those days right?

⸻ We booked a studio at this hotel last minute during our spring trip because my daughter was having a severe allergic reaction. Unfortunately, we were assigned a first-floor room tucked into a corner of the building that felt like a cave—there was virtually no natural light, even with the curtains open, and the room had a damp smell. As a frequent traveler, I’m usually not too particular—I just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep. However, given my daughter’s asthma, the poor air quality and lack of sunlight made this room especially unsuitable. As soon as we walked in, I called the front desk, explained our situation, and asked if we could switch to a room with better natural light. The staff member paused briefly, and I initially thought they would accommodate us, but instead I was told no—this was the only studio available. This was frustrating, as their website and other booking platforms still showed studio rooms for sale at the time. To be fair, the room itself was clean, and the bedding and pillows were soft and comfortable. However, I wish the staff had been more understanding and better trained to handle situations like this with a bit more empathy, rather than coming across as cold and dismissive. And

Pool was down, internet was down a lot, and business center was also down. I had planned a lot of important work while I was there and ended up needing to buy a laptop, a printer, and upgrade my hotspot to manage. This is my second time here, so I was bummed for those things, but all else was perfect. Ran laundry, slept great, shower is great, breakfast wonderful as usual, and Megan even gave my daughter some pads when she started and we hadn't gotten to the store. I will definitely come back, but hope I can depend on the internet next time. My daughter and I had an amazing visit for 8 days, 7 nights, and enjoyed our stay. All staff are friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Nice space and a comfortable stay for the most part. I did see a spider and a small flying insect in one bedroom and a roach in a drawer (seen right before checking out) in other room. The lighting in the kitchen, dining area and living room was not good.

Sonesta was able to get us a room for the time frame we needed it at Midnight. Huge help and it made our stay so much better than it started.

The room and pictures I booked from Travelocity was not the same room I was givin. When talking with front desk it looked like the rooms pictures were wrong per room. I haven’t received a refund. The incidental hold was not properly or clearly disclosed by the employee, who threatened to call the cops because I was “trespassing” After spending almost $500 dlls to stay there, I was not able to use the services I paid for. I want to believe that this employee is not a direct reflection of the values and principles this company stands for.

Everything was great aside from the WiFi not working in the room. Being there for work made it difficult. So I had to set up the in room across from the lobby. Staff was super helpful and accommodating.

We came to visit the National Parks and used Sonesta as our "base camp". The front desk people were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast provided was one of the better ones we've ever had staying in hotels. There were a lot of healthy choices. We had a one bedroom suite. It was a nice, clean space. Quiet for sleeping at night. It was great having a coffee maker at our disposal. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

There were couple of red stains on the carpet, presumably blood stains. The rooms were very dated, only the bathrooms were renovated, but the bathroom walls were very dirty. Not a good experience. AC was making a strange noise. I don't understand how this place got a 9.0 rating. It should be 7 at most.

We stayed here multiple times over the last three weeks while visiting friends and the national parks near Fresno. The staff were always cheerful, friendly, and helpful, the beds are comfortable, the rooms appear to have been renovated recently, the breakfasts were great, and it was a wonderful place to serve as a homebase. Would definitely stay here again.

There are many helpful staff such as Carrie and Laura in the kitchen and Dean in the front. The only problem I had was the terrible internet. I was without it for 10+ days. The phone in the room and netflix were not working. The pool is clean and room is clean. Overall it is decent and I will be back again.

Very rude clerk at front on day of check in. We arrived from our flight at 1 pm and had to sit in the empty dining are until it was 4 pm to check in. Clerk flat out told us they do not have to check anyone in before 4 pm. very nearly walked out just because of his attitude alone. We have been flying for hours only to be met with his rudeness for something we had no idea of the rules and he did not try to politely explain just dead paned you have to wait until the :sign in time:

We checked into the motel, was given our keys to our upgraded 2 bedroom suite and found the door to the suite super dirty. Since we were there for my daughter’s company, she had a meeting soon after our check-in. I went along to watch my grand baby. When I opened the door I found slippers on the floor and a big backpack on the table. They gave us keys to a room already in use! I was not happy about the $400 incidental deposit that was marked as a misc charge. I asked the manger to sign, date and note it’s an incidental deposit. We went back to the office and said we didn’t feel safe and I wanted a refund on all the charges. I got the refund for the incidentals, and had a credit for the room fees, but got recharged and had to call the motel back asking for my full refund since we didn’t stay and the issues we had.

Clean and safe hotel at a great price! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful from checkin to checkout. They were prompt at resolving an ac issue by giving us a sleeper room (we didn’t want to move rooms). Highly recommend this specific Sonesta.

This was my second time staying at the Sonesta Suites (last time was in 2023). The main corridors are looking a little worn. I thought I smelled insect spray in the stairways, and sure enough, on my last morning (thank goodness it was morning) I noticed a cockroach climbing the walls. It gave me the creeps enough to make me think twice about staying here next time I am in Fresno. It is too bad, because everything else about this place (breakfast, facilities) is really good.

I loved that you really get your moneys worth of the price you pay. It took a few minutes to figure out the stove, and the shower was a little small, but other than that everything was really great! Staff was outstanding! They were very upbeat and willing to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again whenever we travel back out there!

The maintenance man in the morning on Sunday, 8/24, was very kind and helpful. He saw me with my hands full across the courtyard and offered to open the door and prepare the elevator for me with the best smile and attitude.

The breakfast was the best in the past few days. I like the stay very much. The down side was that when I left San Francisco around 2pm, the traffic was already heavy. I used tremendous long time to get on the freeway, that caused me to arrive the hotel very late. It was out of my plan.

We love our stay , service is exceptional the place is quiet and peaceful. Slept good comfortably. . But its just our room was smelling fishy. They came and sorayed right away. Us thinking the smell was just temporary, but surprise ! It lingered on thru out our whole stay. The shower curtain does not stop water from coming out. So it get wet a lot outside the tub after use.

The hotel stay was generally fine. The room was nice, quiet and spacious. The beds were as expected and comfortable. We used the laundry and found that it cost $6 for a load to wash and dry plus $1 for detergent. The washers and dryers were small and older, so very few options. The pool was small and the water was very warm. (it was >104F outside) There was a homeless encampment next to the property, which provided some concerns about our vehicle safety, but we had no issues.

The room was extraordinary. It was more like an apartment than a hotel room. Everything was first class and at a great price. Breakfast was a full meal. All was impressive.

This was a great place to stop on our road trip. Our room was great so spacious with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a Kitchenette. The pool and grilling area was great and the gum was nice too. The staff at the front desk was super helpful and friendly.

Love the full fridge and the ability to make food in the room if wanting to stay in . The grocery store is a 5 min walk so easy to run out and grab whatever . The gym has everything I need to get a full body workout in . All equipment is updated and clean. There is coffee & tea 24-7 in the lobby . The breakfast is decent - something for everyone . Also love the Netflix option on the TVs so you don’t have to watch lame tv.

Quick overnight stay before an early morning flight. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, convenient breakfast in the morning, the only slightly annoying thing was the ice maker in the fridge that kept going after it was filled (got up in the middle of the night to turn it off)
