Piccadilly Inn Airport

Pool was out of order. No room safe. Rooms need updating. But was clean and staff was very good and helpful. Hotel needs updating but price was very reasonable. The restaurant food was excellent highly recommend.

Dilapidated building that seems to be the hang out for drug addicts and homeless people. Outside of building is crumbling, there are tarps over the roof in several places. Do not recommend leaving your room after dark. Passing by many, MANY drug addicts and possibly homeless folks in the hallway each time I left my room! A lot of them hanging out in front of the building and in the parking lot at all hours - yelling, loitering etc. The restaurant is closed, only the bar area open, which also seems to be a local hangout for regulars. Bar tender spent most of her time talking (a lot of cussing) with the locals at the bar, giving away free beer? Having locals at a hotel bar is a bit strange, especially since this hotel is literally almost in the parking lot of the airport. That was the only reason we stayed. Pool was green and had not been maintained in a VERY long time. Rooms were extremely poor, dirty and outdated. Our carpet was wet with ice cold water all the way down the hall. Chair and carpet in room look to NEVER have been cleaned. TV went in and out. This place is horrid - do not stay there, especially if you have kids!!

No elevators. Coffee maker in room was inoperative. Desk clerk and restaurant staff had conflicting statements about operating bar and restaurant hours. After 8:30 we could not get anything to eat in house. No shop to purchase incidentals.

The extra cost to have a room facing the Ocean was money well spent.

Okay so from the photos online you think its a deal for the price. For the price its a good place I like the fact that the rooms are spacious. Though the land line is the wall next to the toilet caught me by surprise... when I was sitting there and it rang so loud with its I ls school

I would not recommend or stay at this location again.

The bathroom was clean and the front desk was nice. The carpet was stained, the mattress had a visibly sunken middle and probably should have been replaced a decade ago. The exercise room had an elliptical and a bike. The pool was green. We were only staying to catch a plane and spent most of the night uncomfortable and awake.

All the electric outlets were so old that your phone charger cord fell out onto the floor when you plug it in. No overhead light just a dim bedside lamp so very dark.

The room was clean, but the bed was horrible to sleep on. The a/c unit had a horrible noise, so didn't get much sleep. Talked to the front desk about it but nothing fixed. The pool was green and did not get anywhere near it. The ice machine was on the other side of the property. This is not hotel I would stay again. It was a last minute booking.

Nice overall. Food was Great. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The food and staff at cove especially the dinner female waitress was fantastic. . I tipped over 20 percent. They got a thumbs up from me. .

Airport transport was smooth and on time. Property needs an update. The shower wall in my room was falling in around the plumbing. Pool was closed with green water in it. Property maintenance was poor. Staff was helpful.

Thanks for all the years of stays, Piccadilly, but all be using the Best Western across the street from now on.

Room had a weird smell, property needs major updating, stained carpet.

It was close to airport. We stayed here several years ago and it was very nice. This visit was not so nice. Beds sagged, no hairdryer, no door on bathroom and not very clean. My husband slept with his clothes on.

Location Friendly staff The bed linens were clean, but the room had a very unpleasant smell. It was dusty, and the carpet was extremely dirty and gray from wear. The room itself was very old and outdated. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. During our stay, no housekeeping service was provided, and we were not given additional toilet paper or tissues. The accordion-style bathroom door was very inconvenient and offered little privacy. Overall, the room was not comfortable for a family. The swimming pool is very very dirty, jacuzzi doesn’t work.

There's no Continental breakfast included. Didn't visit restaurant or bar. Check in was good. Besides the outside looking outdated and rough and carpets everywhere. We'd stay for the price we paid. Room has weird noises from connecting room. It was a 1 night stay.

Shortly before arriving, I learned that only clear bags were allowed inside the venue. I arrived by taxi, already dressed & ready to go, expecting a quick check-in while the driver waited & the meter ran. I was assigned Room 263, which was a considerable distance from the lobby & required taking stairs since there is no elevator. When I got to the room, the key card didn’t work. I made multiple trips back downstairs for replacement keys. I even tried calling the front desk, but no one answered despite there being two attendants at the desk earlier. I had explained during check-in that I was in a hurry & had only about 20 minutes to reach the arena. One employee asked me to wait while he remained on the phone. Another suggested I might be using the key incorrectly & gave me another key, assuring me the problem was fixed. It wasn’t. Eventually, maintenance had to be called to resolve the issue. By then, my taxi driver had left, & I arrived late to a once-in-a-lifetime graduation ceremony. While technical problems happen, the lack of urgency & repeated key card failures turned a simple check-in into a frustrating experience that caused me to miss part of an important family milestone.

The property was old, but the rooms were clean. The hallways were clean. We ate at the restaurant. The food was great. Everyone was very respectable and responsible and helped us get everything we needed airport shuttle was very convenient. I would stay there again. Pulling up to the building you go 00 what do we get into because it needs some help , Paint would help. The carpet everything is old, but if you don’t mind that it’s clean.

We chose this hotel for the convenience of being close to the airport and who we visited. Definitely older but was what we expected.

AVOID THIS HOTEL! Every time we left the room, we had to have a new key made. Maintenance finally came the last day. We were there and fixed the lock after we had requested that several times we asked. Requested our room be clean during our five days day and it was not cleaned one time. Had to chase down the maids to get fresh towels. Coffee pot did not work. Staff was incredibly rude at the continued request for new keys. This place used to be the pride of Fresno and has definitely become a dump with homeless people approaching you in the parking lot.

My sons and I are very happy with stay at this hotel. We had such an amazing experience. Beautiful, clean and we felt safe.

The room was clean as expected of a hotel. I didn’t find any issues with the cleanliness. A couple things that I would say were not great but not a red flag just things that weren’t great and that would be the people above me were jumping up and down all night and I mean stomping and maybe running laps not sure but it was annoying. I don’t say anything cause it wasn’t that big of a deal. The second thing was the shower curtain did not keep water in the shower where it’s supposed to be but flooded the floor. But the floor is tiled so wasn’t to big of a deal just was a lot of water to be soaked up. But I would say over all was a really decent place to stay and as mentioned before I didn’t see any issues with a lack of cleanliness. I think they do a really good job with cleanliness.

The tile around the tub faucet was busted and falling in..the pillows were tiny..the floor was dirty with gum wrappers and drink lids behind the table where the microwave was ..but biggest problem was our BI-FOLD bathroom door was broken and coming loose from the wall..also no overhead light...just 2 lamps..the charger plugs fall out of the wall outlets and won't stay plugged in..

The front desk area was nice. It's right across the street from the airport. Had to sign a code of conduct statement when checking in, which seemed weird. The rooms were in a separate building that has a security gate entrance. Seemed a little sketchy. The carpets were gross and very stained. The room smelled musty and the whole place needs to be updated. Bed was comfortable. Linens were clean. Wouldn't stay here again, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The plugins in the motel was wore out where they wouldn't hardly work and the keys were turned off ahead of time before we checked out, had to go back down and return them back on to get back into the room, I did not appreciate that at all since my wife has had to wait out. In the hot to get in, we will not be staying there again.

So, why in the world didn't the hotel contact us once they were full? 10pm is not a great time to scramble for a room! The number was not helpful, and the only options left in town had reviews below 5. We ended up at a pretty gross hotel 30 minutes from the airport instead of across the street.

The hotel is old school and has the amenities that I need, such as parking, a pool (not very well maintained), a restaurant, a shuttle to the airport, security, and friendly services. It's clean, and check-in was smooth and friendly. The hotel needs improvements, and it's big enough that it can be renovated in sections if the owners want to. In fact, I encourage the owners to have big renovations. This hotel has big potential.

The property needs to be updated. The pool was green . But for the price to stay there for a very early flight. They do have shuttle service which was great!

But for the price, I felt like I got a real good deal and will definitely use hotel again. Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, I am a bit of a germaphobe and I am hard to please!

Pool not open and was dirty. Grounds were not kept up. Front desk person was friendly and helpful. Food at hotel restaurant was excellent, and very inexpensive -waitress was very nice and very accommodating. Room was clean, but everything is quite old. Bed was comfortable. Would not stay more than one night, perfect for an early flight as airport is across the street.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. Had an issue with my air-conditioning so they quickly changed my room. No problems after that. The restaurant on site had delicious food. Our waitress was bubbly and efficient. The shuttle driver at 4:50 AM was welcoming and kind.

The staff was very helpful, I was not aware that my cell phone could deactivate the key card and after the second time they young man told me key the key card away from cell phones and other electronics.

Cons: Older hotel, needs a bit of repairs, air-conditioning problem in our room, the pool wasn't working, and the exercise room was dirty. I was disappointed not to use the pool because it looked nice. Overall, location, price, and convivence is worth staying at. We stayed here 4 nights while on a trip to Yosemite. Go to Fresno only if you want to go to Yosemite because it is so close, otherwise there is nothing to do in Fresno. Very boring city.

Location is great if you need to be close to airport. We got in late and had to wait 20 minutes because the front desk had problems logging in and getting our room. When we got the room it was a smoking room and by then it was too late to change. Price was good, but I’m not taking the risk of going back.

Although it's weathered & worn in some areas the overall lure of the place really made us respect this amazing hotel! We look forward to staying there again & again! If you're stopping in Fresno for a break from traveling on the road I assure you that this hotel with its age is still a place to be and enjoy!

The steakhouse restaurant

We were warmly greeted by the staff at the front desk. It was a good place to stay for one night since we were on a 5 AM flight out of FAT. It was worth the price point. However, it is in desperate need of renovation. The carpets in the hallways look old and dingy. Our room was clean but again everything is old and dated. If I have a 5 AM flight out, I would do it again.

The room smelt like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. There was no refrigerator for me to put my food that I had just bought from the grocery store and I did not get no complementary breakfast.

Very good stay. I had to stay an additional night and it was not a problem. There has been times in the past when I almost needed an act from Congress just to extend my stay. Ramada did very well and Im not the hardest customer but probably not the easiest either.lol

I’ve been staying here occasionally for the past 25 years. Unfortunately, it’s just too tired and run down to keep coming back. It’s very inexpensive, so if you just need a place to sleep for a flight, it’s borderline ok.

This hotel is very nice and very neat! The lady who was working at the front desk was very helpful for me and very polite. This place was for reasons I can't really explain is just better than the others. Oh and it has been nice and quiet too

Although the room was clean, there was a leak in one of the bathroom sinks and the shower was clogged. The front office was informed. I was advised maintenance would be there at 10:30AM. They never came. It only served to interrupt my rest since I was waiting for someone - that never showed up. The front office was informed again at check out. I was going to stay one more night, but opted to find another hotel instead.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is older looking and outdated. The hall lighting is slightly dim and the rugs are dark. There were no USB charging ports in the room or near the bed -- only electrical wall outlets. The Inn is approximately an 8-minute walk to the Fresno Airport (very easy walk). The staff is nice and they offer shuttle pickup services to and from the airport. My room was clean and had the basic necessities which was enough for my needs (double showerhead, large king bed, refrigerator, microwave, tv). There is a nice walking trail across the street and a food truck next to the Shell Station adjacent to the Inn. There are a few fast-food places nearby as well as other hotels that have restaurants inside. The Inn has an indoor cafe and restaurant. There is plenty of parking. However, I would probably not stay here again.

The staff was super helpful and the closeness to the airport with 24 hour shuttle service made them stand out. The hotel and room are outdated, but seemed clean. There is no elevator and our rooms were on the 2nd floor which required us to drag our bags up and down stairs. I did use my blacklight upon arrival to my room and didn't have any trepidation about staying here. Overall for the price, location, and friendly staff, Ill still give this location 4 stars.

I ONLY stay here because of the airport being across the street. It is probably why you guys don't renovate it. You know people will stay regardless. It is OLD and kinda creepy. Carpet is disgusting. I won't shower in the bathroom because it is dank and looks horrible. I nnormally love the restaurant but it was closed on a Monday.

The front desk was nice and helpful. It is an older Inn but just for me it was good enough. The room was clean and the AC worked well. I never did figure out how to turn on the TV lol.

Definitely the biggest hotel room I have ever been in. Every other hotel feels cramped in comparison. Very comfortable. Could use some updates though. There are three outlets in the bedroom and one is behind the bed. Get some extension cord lamps. And it took about 10 minutes for the front desk guy to show up.

Reasonable price Pool and jacuzzi have been not usable for 3 years. Needs to be fixed or taken off as an option. Really wanted to use jacuzzi. Needs to do a lot of repairs and painting on the building

The property was an older hotel. The carpets in the hotel were old. The room heat I turned it on was musty. The room was older and needed an update. It didn't have any extra locks as other hotels do. The restaurant was more eat at the bar style. My steak was over cooked but the vegtables and mashed potatoes were good. The counter help was good.

Stayed for couple nights. A bit interesting how they had no water to handout or at least a vending machine to buy some. Never ran into this problem at any hotel. Flew in after a long flight and it was hot out and finally got to the hotel and can’t even get some water from the staff. Told me to go to a gas station that was closed.

the hotel is due for a upgrade. Exterior had paint peeling in many areas. Bathroom ceiling the paint was peeling. Furniture is older and scratched. everything in the room was clean as could be. Mattress needs to be replaced. at check in one staff member had good customer service skills the other was a bit grumpy. Restraunt/bar was nice and server had good customer service skills. Food was ok. could use more of a desert menu.

Very friendly staff. One employee in particular went out of her way. Parking lot is a little beat up, but the place is nice overall, and very reasonably priced.

The management buys cheap goods. I had to have my key cards replaced seven times in the four nights I stayed there. They would just demagnetize. The clerk repeatedly told me to keep them away from my phone because it would do this to them. However it wasn’t the phone that was the problem. They would lose their charge in a pocket alone or when sitting on a nightstand overnight. Just cheap. Which is a theme of the whole hotel now it seems. Frank is a hard enough city to visit unless you have good reason to do so. If you are going there for more than a single night, stay at a different place than this faded and cliche dump.

It was exactly what I needed. A good bed and a quiet room close to the airport for my early morning flight out.

Place is getting worse every time i stay here. Theres no breakfast, the pool is dirty if open, and the rooms need some serious upgrades. Not sure how this place gets a 3 star rating. This was my favorite place to stay, but I think I need to look at other options. It is quiet most the time but for the price thats just not good enough

The designs is very old and not make sense how use the bathroom door and also tbe sink water handle is hard to turn on and i am afraid if i pull too hard then it break! Last worst of all i can't find plug in on wall it all hide behind the cabinet and night stand which is more ridiculous because it not customers friendly to use everything. There were only a few plugs in the room or bathroom, and most were either in use or our plug fell out of it. There was no place to plug in a computer. No wifi that we knew about. The room was clean. They do have an airport shuttle that runs 24/7, but we didn't use it.

I always stay at the Piccadilly Inn because it’s dependable and consistent. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

I was not able to stay there when I arrived at the place their security said that there was no one to check us in they would be back in 2 hours. As I was going to contact you the front desk lady arrived from outside just getting to work. She said they had no rooms available then changed the story to that I would have to pay $100 extra. So I left the hotel. Bad service. Didn’t want to work with or even try to help out.

Floors were squeaky in room and un hallways. Landscaping people came to mow and blow leaves before 8am, making too much noise and not considerate of guests who may still be sleeping.

One complaint: the website needs to be updated, as the breakfast hours for the restaurant were incorrect. One nit picked: the bathroom door trim needs to be replaced. (There's no functional issue, it just looks bad.) Overall, pretty good place: I'd stay there again.

The rooms are a bit outdated. The entire premises seem dirty and dark, there is carpet with plenty of stains all around the hotel. The room that I received was a bit smelly from smoke, the carpet was dirty but from old age. The room layout is from the 2000s, so it was outdated. The bed was comfortable and I only stayed from 6pm to 5am.

Sorry I had asked for them to please clean my room and put new towels. The front desk said that it would happen and they would get it done.. but I heard him asking the housekeeping to go get it done over the walkie-talkie and she refused. Not only that didn’t sleep all night due to the fact the people next-door West was talking so loud and making so much noise with not recommend this hotel for nothing..

This hotel is old and could use some updating; however, the rooms are larger than those in most hotels of this price range, and they are kept clean. The hotel staff is very friendly. I had an early flight and needed shuttle service at 4 AM, and both the staff and the driver were extremely helpful. This is my second stay at this hotel due to my flight schedule. Overall, I highly recommend it if you need a place to stay because of flight-related needs.

Additionally, the phone in the room, which I was supposed to use to communicate, did not work because it had no buttons. Her response was that guests steal them and that it was not her problem. we love to stay here when travelling out of FAT. This room however was lacking in electrical outlet availability. The bedside lamps did not have an extra outlet at their base. The only outlet for the left side of bed was under the bed about the middle of the baseboard, impossible to reach unless you wanted to move the bed. The outlet on the right side of bed was about 6 feet away from edge of bed. Very inconvenient if you want to use laptops or electronics while relaxing and watching tv. Otherwise, staff is excellent and the restaurant/bar is always good.

The manager and her messed up attitude, everything else perfect. So of the best staff and just a messed up manager. Hot and cold attitude. I did no wrong to this lady and she’s just a cold hearted person. Just because someone other than myself wanted to change rooms because of the water was not getting hot she had a full blown vendetta. I mean took his service animals away then all rights away. Spent thousands of dollars there for her to be acting like that. Blessing!!

The room was perfect and some of the staff were great, but the manager broke so many laws by not letting a Veteran have his service animals and being cool one minute then the next just plan disrespectful on all levels. So I wouldn’t recommend. I have given it higher stars until she started to show her true colors.

Everyone is amazing

The steak restaurant has the best french fries I have eaten in a while. But the Turky sandwhich was gross and the bar was run down. Much of the finished plates were left sitting around ( there was only 4 people left to drink/ eat) from the looks of the dirty dishes, it seems many had the same impression of the sandwhiches I had.

We were looking forward to eating in the restaurant but apparently all the staff quit so dinner was only being served in the bar. High praise for the ladies running the bar and breakfast cafe! Both gave excellent service with a friendly smile.

Stayed overnight for early flight out. The hotel is right across the street from the airport, very convenient. It was perfect for our needs. Kahari checked us in. He was such a delightful, helpful young man. We wound up needing an extra room and he efficiently took care of it, even putting the rooms close together. He was so friendly and welcoming. He made us glad to be at this place. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large and clean. We liked it.

The grounds of this hotel is great. I can where this hotel was excellent at one time…but an investment in updating is definitely needed. The hotel property is huge. SO much potential to bring back a curated experience not available at the surrounding hotels. Need wrought iron a fence all the way around the property and visible security paroling to make guests feel safe. Especially in 1st floor room that have huge sliding glass doors that open to the beautiful grass/pool area. Open property without security did NOT make me feel safe as a woman staying alone.

The only reason I didn't cancel was I figured I was just going to be sleeping there so I could deal with it. And another thing they ran out of coffee fir the room and I had to go down to the desk to get fresh towels.

There were only two sets of towels in a room with two queen beds. Advertised a microwave in the room, but this room did not have one. There was no shampoo, nor lotion in the room. There were no extra toilet paper rolls. We had to go down to the front desk to ask for supplies, which were given to us, minus the microwave. There is no elevator. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the decor was old.

Fifty years ago, this was the place to stay if you were flying in/out of Fresno. It is still a fine stay. The years are showing a little, but everything is still shipshape, clean, and comfortable. There is nowhere that is as convenient.

We stayed a night after an evening flight before driving to Yosemite next morning. Parking and check in were a breeze. The rooms are disconnected from the lobby and as soon as we stepped outside the smell of cigarette was pungent. Then as we went into the hallway we were greeted by another awful smell. Thankfully the room did not smell bad. It was clean and spacious. It is an old hotel and for one night stay is enough.

Look I booked my room way ahead of time and I was driven to the hotel and then I get there and told I had to wait to check in for over an hour but someone else gets there after I did and they could check in but I can’t then you take forever and mess up my reservation just terrible service

Front desk was not super welcoming, but check in was pretty quick. Outside of building is dated and definitely needs a makeover for curb appeal. Inside lobby/building is dated, but clean. Area was quiet and seemed safe. Room was large, clean which was appreciated, bed comfortable. TV was in cabinet (no cable and battery was out in remote). There was microwave available no fridge, did not use the shower this visit. Quiet at night. About 5 minutes from airport. No breakfast was eaten. Would stay again for a night or two if needed.

Old worn out carpet, kind of old smell, room was at the different building than main, no phone charger near side table and table.

The facility is outdated also didn’t like how people were hanging around in the parking lot make me feel uncomfortable. But the restaurant for breakfast with excellent the service was excellent the food was excellent. Also the staff that work at the front desk The gentleman was very kind.

property very old. you can hear everything from the next rooms even flush of a toilet. I was unable to sleep due to someone in the room above arrived late and they were walking around, taking shower etc and kept me awake until 1 AM. I will not stay here again!

Property is a bit outdated but staff is great. No free breakfast either. All sites I looked on show checkout being 12 noon, but the hotel says it is at 1130am. Either honor what is advertised or update the listings.

We checked into our room to find someone else's bags. They had given our room to another couple. Instead of getting us a new room, they simply took the bags and we were the ones that had to tell the other couple that their bags were with the concierge when they came knocking on the door

All aspects needed investment, remodeling, and care. No extra blankets available. No laundry bag. Only one outer shower curtain - no separate inner waterproof curtain. Toilet flush was weak. Thermostat reset itself during the night to cool to 60 degrees. Pool was closed. No screen door on the sliding patio door, which itself needed maintenance because it was hard to open. Run down old carpeting and paint. Phone was unplugged. Lamp didn't work at first. Towels at front desk were limited. Parking lot was deteriorating. Service was decent.

Friendly staff and convenient location. A little dated, but clean & a good budget option.

Room was dated, beds were clean, bathroom- not so much. Old toothpaste stain on the wall as you walk in was obvious. Mirror relectiveness flaked off on the edges in the bathroom. Non-working phone next to the toilet- why?

Property & parking outside is very dark. Rooms are outdated & furniture was stained & gross. Walking into the bathroom feels like your walking back in time possibly into the late 70's.

The room was clean, air-conditioned and comfortable. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

The front desk was great hospitality and was nice when we checked in. After we got settled in our room we called the front desk asked if we could get my towels but they told me that they didn’t have anymore to give out. I was not happy about that because one of my family members couldn’t shower because of the lack of towels they could give out. We also noticed that the wall plugs in the bedroom couldn’t hold our charging cables for our phones. I wanted to be able to charge my phone close to me not in the bathroom area. Other than those things my families stay at the hotel we’re good just those things need to be fixed for the next person that wants to stay there.

Went down to fresno for a birthday party.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. While the room was large and spacious, the floors were stained, there was what looked to be a fake fingernail stuck to the headboard, the faucet broke and there were hairs stuck to the phone. Overall the room was dingy and outdated. Also, the room above had dogs that ran back and forth and barked all night making it hard to sleep.

Basic hotel near airport. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Staff is friendly.
