Hyatt Place Fresno

The ice machine didn’t work on our floor and they said it would be fixed that day. If we knew it wasn’t going to be fixed we would have changed floors. The garbages inside and out were overflowing.

The staff was great and fantastic customer service.

The only problem was toilet handle was not working. They gave us another room. Otherwise, a really nice place.

The property was very clean and looked really nice. The breakfast was great. Everything tasted good was nice and warm. Good variety plenty of seating.

Location perfect, very clean, and well kept hotel. Breakfast items could have been kept warm. Waffles were hard. Plates were not always available. No napkins and regular coffee available throughout the meal time.

I’ve stayed at several Hyatt House locations and I was expecting the same experience. It wasn’t the same, and that was the only thing that was disappointing. The ambience wasn’t the same and offerings weren’t as lavish as Hyatt House. I didn’t realize there was such a difference. Other than that, we were definitely content with the experience. I appreciate that the rooms were similar in size and layout to the Hyatt House rooms.

Comfy bed. Spacious room It wasnt that clean. Some fixtures broken or crooked. I wasnt crazy about the art or colors or rug. Tiny coffee machine but it did work.

Furnitures were scratched and appear dated which is strange for a newer hotel. Breakfast has good selections. Staff are very helpful. The room is quiet (on the east side facing Kaiser Permente).

The hotel staff were very friendly from the check in process, to the housekeepers, the cooks and ground keepers. Loved that my dog was very much welcomed. The hotel and hotel room was very clean and I felt extremely comfortable being there. I can’t think of anything I did not like.

Easy to find. Nice lady at check in. Close to busy front street and noisy freeway behind. The handicapped room was way down at the end of the long hallway the farthest room from the front. There was a door to the outside did not let us in with the room key, so we had to park and go in the front and take the long walk to the farthest room away. We had a quick stay but the room was clean and quiet. The blackout shades were perfect to help us get the rest we needed.

Overall hotel stay was okay. Continental breakfast was good. Cleaning service was helpful when we asked for a few extra amenities. Although, couch in hotel room had a stain. Shower mat was left wet when we checked in.

Room 411 shower had worms coming out of the grout when water turned on. Hotel was not prepared for amount of people for breakfast. Ran out of food, dishes and utensils. Piles of dishes stacked up everywhere.

I had a wonderful time the room was great and the staff was very friendly one thing happened I couldn’t get food from the kitchen one one of my days because there were short staffed that was a bummer no salad anywhere. But other than that, I had a great time.

The Most Luxury Hotel that have stayed in a long time , I felt like I was staying in a Resort. The breakfast was super nice presented, the staff members were very friendly and handy, when I arrived I didn’t had a courting in the bathroom but I guess maybe the housekeepers maybe forgot them in the washer and dryer and was time for them to go home and maybe didn’t spect also so many customers coming to the property , I don’t know, the thing is that I went down and just ask them nicely and they where super quick and nice and called the manger and I was able to resolve this in minutes , which for me is an awesome response because you know when you’re staying in hotels the least you spect is to have priority treatment. This made my week more stress free and I was able to achieved what I was pursuing that it was to have a positive impact in my life and rest as much as I could and forget about everything and have some rest after many weeks of traveling and been stressed with work and so I feel so much better after getting a vacation week off in Hyatt. Thank you so much !!!

The breakfast was great and the coffee good

The ice maker didn’t work, I notified staff, they said they would repair but it was broken all weekend. The tile on the floor was damaged. I was shocked when all of the had happened, it is the Hyatt I’m talking about suppose to be top tier. Other than that, the facility was good; pool, breakfast, parking.

Real great place to stay if you’re out in Fresno. Staff were really helpful and rooms were magnificent definitely will be back

The night shift guy was the best, he provoded me with all that i needed.

It was fine for a night. Parking lot security was good. Kept homeless out of parking lot. Rooms were pretty good. I will say most Hyatt hotels I’ve been to are in better condition. This one showed some wear and tear. Bed was comfortable.

I had an emergency and had to leave a day early. I went to the front desk and checked out around 245pm. My room was 310. I still do not have a total bill. I have checked my spam folder. I want to make sure I was not billed for that 3rd night. I would like an email with all my totals if possible. I want to see my folio and all that was charged. This was a business trip and I need my travel receipts to get my trip paid. I thought this would be automatic.

The tweakers in the area just entered and had to be escorted out. One gentleman told me his truck was broken into, and unfortunately, he was parked in a blind spot where security footage wasn't able to see. The breakfast is basic. What made the scrambled eggs special was green onion. I went with my children and my wife. Two of my boys are always hungry the diner at the time wasn't opened due to short staff. We always get frozen dinners and a microwave in the rooms is not available only 1 in the lobby so that kinda sucked.

Located near Shopping Center RiverPark, has a indoor pool and staff was friendly. Although room was clean, hair was on bathroom wall. Swimming pool also had a wad of hair. The floor near the towels needed a mat as a child slipped while walking and landed head first.

Close to location we were traveling to TV didn’t work, phone didn’t work I was getting ready for a party, little time so I moved to my Mom’s room which I had also paid for. Then we came back to a sink backed up in her room so disgusting. They brought us cleaning spray and towel to clean it ourselves since housekeeping was already gone home. I spoke to the manager in the morning and she said she would comp our stay and they would send a code to Booking.com to refund. That never happened, booking blamed Hyatt Place Fresno and the hotel said it was Booking.com’s fault.

Bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were great too Paying for parking and my room didn’t have a microwave.

Also, Expedia described a "free breakfast" for this property, but the hotel refused to honor it and charged us $11 per person, AFTER we had already eaten and believed the breakfast was free. Finally, parking is $10/day. In the future, I will stick to hotels that have similar features but cost much less, provide an actual free breakfast, and free parking. Nearby hotels like Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, or Holiday Inn Express.

We had several problems with the refrigerator not working. The AC when running was loud. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.

After checking in at the nearby Country Inn, we found it too dirty and decided to move here instead. This place was clean and very satisfying. Of course, we paid more, but it was worth it.

The room was spacious and had a beautiful view. Blackout curtains and a nice big couch for lounging. Sadly, this is where all the good parts end. The bed was super firm and the pillows were flat. I woke up with a stiff and hurt back and my wife’s head hurt. She felt like she was laying on rocks. The tv only has about 30 channels and runs off Google chrome, if you have an iPhone, this thing does not connect to it “even though it says it can”. The shower pressure is little to non existent, the toilet felt awkward and uncomfortable to sit on. The sheets were slightly stained to what looked like lipstick, the couch and bed had small specs of glitter on them and the couch had a small odor in one of the corners. Some of the furniture had dings on them. We would love to stay here again, mainly for the staff and the room “looked” exceptional! That’s sadly where it ends though. Im glad we got to stay here, but It’s not enough to get us back for another stay, my back will most certainly thank me in the end.

We booked this hotel to stay in as we arrived very late from the airport. The hotel was in a great location. Our room was clean and very spacious. The property is tucked away in a neighborhood, so there's not much around it, but I highly recommend it. It. The staff was very friendly, and a breakfast was good.

I would definitely stay here again. We are a family of four and we enjoyed our stay. Target, Kaiser Permanente, Chili's, and many shopping stores were all nearby. We absolutely loved our stay.

Unfortunately we had to change rooms due to a broken tv. The staff went out of their way to make it as easy as possible for us.

The front staff was very nice helping me with an early check in, and offering extra towels. I will definitely be staying here again in the future

I enjoyed everything about it. There was a check in/host/ bartender named Jeffery. He was really good. The hotel is lucky to have him as a point person

I would recomend more security. Guests able to bring dogs and other baggage in & out with no security. Also should be someone available at breakfast to check that all that eat there are qualified.

The hotel is average. It’s comfortable but the automatic lights in our bathroom shut off after 60 seconds even when in shower. So either a dark shower or you had to get out and turn the lights on. Also the A/C stopped at 68. It’s Fresno, it’s hot. It wasn’t cool comfortable. When I tried to speak to the front desk no one was present. They were making coffee drinks for guests.

The breakfast plates were dirty both mornings we went down to eat.

The only thing that bothered me a bit were the guests that allowed their kids to run wild in the hotel from running through the hallways making loud noises, knocking at our doors, and riding the elevator up and down. The ceilings were quite thin as we could here the kids running back and fourth in their room, stomping until 11pm. Other than that, the staff, facility and area were great.

Convenient location for me. We didn’t like the roaches, pillowcases with bloody puss spots and no maid service for three days even though we told them no one cleaned, brought clean towels or replacement coffee. We will never stay there again

Cleanliness of the room and the location was convenient. Check in staff could have shared more information about breakfast times and check out times as a reminder. Water was not available in the room and that could’ve been mentioned so that we could’ve purchased it before we went up to our room.

Very nice staff

The elevator was out of service and I was on the fourth floor. This was a hassle to carry all my luggage up 4 flights

We enjoyed our stay so much as we headed further south, my wife wanted to stay there again on our way back north. The front desk rep was excellent, the room was clean, the place was nice and quiet, and felt safe parking our vehicle in the parking lot. We’re definitely staying there again when head back south again.

I stayed for 2 nights during a business trip. The staff provided excellent service. The hotel is fairly new and well- maintained. It’s in a perfect location with lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I would be staying here again if I ever visit Fresno.

I got there around 7 pm and front desk person was the same guy working as bartender and I had to stay in front for at least 7 minutes before he come to front and check me in . And he did not say to be with me shortly . So I felt neglected . Property is brand new and very clean . Breakfast was decent as well

Disappointed in cleanliness of room. Mainly the shower. I've stayed here twice for over 3 nights each. The bar food that is advertised was never available. When I inquired, I was told due to only one person working the front desk and bar area. The good: they do have a great breakfast provided with fresh cooked food.

Shower still had hair on the floor. Breakfast place still had left over residue on them. Staff was very friendly.

Property was clean and conveniently located for our needs. Staff was pleasant and efficient.

The trash can in the room was full when we checked in there was also left over food in the frig. No bottled water in room. No food service in the lobby , both bar and food service was closed. Hotel advertising boosted that the hotel had a bar and food.

The room was dirty,, there was blood on the sheets, floor was filthy with hair and crumbs from previous guests, would not recommend

Stay was good and quiet near to ate outing so convenient

Fast and easy check-in. Beds are comfortable. Rooms were clean.

Everything was great but the mattresses were worn down and sagging in the middle

Room could have been a little cleaner. Staff was friendly and it was nice to have a full breakfast included.

AC was very loud and you could feel a strong vibration at night
