Room wasn’t clean. Lint and dust all over the floor. Cigarette burns in the bed sheets. Stains. Mold above the shower in the bathroom. Microwave was disgusting.

There was roaches on the furniture, very small room it smelled like cigarettes in a non smoking room. It was clean but it needs a lot remolding.

Easy access from freeway, we were going to Yosemite. It's right across the road from Costco is why we chose it, fuel and supplies. Ok area. Check in was ok, room was fine.

Perfect location for where we had to be the next day. Not worth the money since the bathroom window didn't close all the way and the room stayed cold most of the night even with the heater on full blast. I've paid less for better. The window in the bathroom not closing all the way. There was no floor towel and no chair to sit in so that you could put your shoes on. Nor there was no way you could hang anything in the closet, no bar or hanger.

This was a last minute booking decision. I was first booked into a room downstairs. This room was livable, although not nice enough for the price. The next day, I was moved into an upstairs room - the carpet was dirty and impossible to clean, the shower curtain had mold growing on it, and the overall situation...a dump. Overpriced dump.

It is located in a good location. The room has most all i need , except a suitcase table.this s a small room, but it works. Air conditioning works well, a tad loud, but keeps it cool. The refridgerator door kept popping open, so i had to put the suitcase in front.the front desk was friendly and engaging. I would stay here again.

The front desk staff is extremely friendly. They seem to be in the process of updating the rooms. Bathroom vanity and tile floor are new, bed and headboard are new and is very comfortable. We used this motel as a home base for checking out Yosemite and King's Canyon/Sequoia National Park for 3 days. It's in a great location for getting out of town to go to the parks, and is also close to Walmart, Costco and several restaurants. Shower curtain and black stains on the bottom and the walls/ceiling could use some updating/paint. Certainly not a 5-star hotel, but we had a great sleep each night.

Amazing amazing amazing. Great location these a lot of stores and shopes around. Lots of tv channels. I came from cold Monterey and fresno is hot in comparison so I loved that they had a/c. Great price and friendly staff.

$100 bucks for an outdated, beat up , cheap room? The guy at the front counter was a good guy and was excellent. But the room is rachet!

The city was sold out. This hotel has an excellent location in big demand. Clerk help me to secure last room online.

Overall the hotel was comfortable. We only needed to stay for 2 nights anyways. The staff was really nice and helpful so that made it 10 times better.

Firstly, i need to say that the bed was more comfortable than some we have had in hotels that cost twice the price. And the room was mostly clean and usable. But cleaning staff needs some training. Found smelly wet towel under the shower curtain. Also, I put out the "do not disturb" sign after the first night of our 2-night stay because we didn't need anything & we didn't want anyone in our room. We returned to find they came in anyway. They took the tiny soap I had used once as well as my plastic cup. I hate the wastefulness as much as the intrusion. I did tell the desk person when we left. I was also sad that it took a very long time to get any hot water. More unfortunate waste.

place was dirty load noisy. police and fire dept came by twice. people where up all hpurs of the night making noise. i coumd not sleep at all. i would never go back again.

It was just enough for the right price. It was reasonable rate and it was a cute, clean room. Was little outdated but didint have an old feel. It was small but also cozy and clean.

The room is nice, looks like it’s been “done up” but poorly eg paint on roof, tiles in bathroom don’t line up/ reach the floor. There was also a coach roach in the bathroom!! The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was not comfortable. Bed was a hard spring mattress, the bathroom door was bigger than the door frame and didn't close, there was a half inch gap above and below the main door so it would not stay cool, and the room had no sound proofing at all. We could hear the cars on the main road all night long.

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Since the motel is old, some of it's failures can be understood. However, there was no place to hang a coat nor a towel. The room was a queen bed for two yet the bed had three pillows. I didn't figure out the reasoning on that. The air conditioner was pleasantly quiet. The room had no lamps which meant accessing light switches on opposite walls and some switches were in awkward places. There is no hair dryer provided but the office did happily provide one once they were located. The swimming pool looked well kept. The motel is located on a very busy street. So if you desire a quiet sleep, this is not a motel that can deliver. The traffic was so loud (sounded like cars and motorcycles racing) I found myself laughing at it.

The shower had no water pressure and 3 days after our stay there were still 2 separate 50 dollar holds on my credit card when I called they said that there were not any from them but even the Visa card company said there were and all the hotel would say is call back and wait a few more days

I can see that they where updating the rooms. The bathroom looked nice but needs to be finished off better. The door had a big gap on the top there was no seal and it let the hot air in. the room could not really cool down until about 5 am. I feel that if and when they complete the upgrades things might be better.

Not the worst hotel I've had but certainly in the discussion. If it had been half the price, I would say it's a decent value. But at $70, it's overpriced for what you get.

when I first drove up I was like I don't know about this place but once inside was another story. The room was remodeled and nice and clean. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. I even told the manager that I will be back again and she gave me a discount card for Denneys across the street.

This motel has been extensively renovated and is pretty nice. My only problem was the ac fan was a bit loud.

Great value for a quick trip or just a place to rest your head. Tired of spending close to $200 for a place to sleep and shower? This is definitely worth your time. Clean, friendly and priced right!

We enjoyed our one-day stay at Best Budget ... we were in Fresno for the State High School Cross Country Championships. We chose BB because of it's central location to Woodward Park (where the meet was held), to the freeway, to restaurants, and to malls, etc. Plus, the reviews on the website were basically solid. I am grateful to the hotel management for working with us after there was a mix-up with our reservations through Expedia (who were also wonderful in sorting out the problem) ... they both went far beyond normal requirements to make sure that we were happy. Though short, our stay was very nice; BB met all of our our needs. Our room was the perfect size for two people. You can tell that the hotel has been around for many years, but the room was nicely painted and more important - it was clean! The heater was set perfectly for the 30 degree temperature outside ... we were very comfortable. Overall, good stay at BB. If we come back to the state meet again, BB will be our first choice of hotels.

Marble floor in bathroom is beautiful but ice cold to walk on. Toilet made loud screaming noise when flushed. Hotel on a VERY busy street and could hear traffic noise all night. Could not find CBS on the TV. Did not like the provided pillows.

The room smelled so gross. I had to buy air freshner. The pillow cases were stained, the blankets had holes, the night stand was missing a drawer, there was no sign with the wifi info and the wifi was horrible.

The room was very nice all remolded and clean. I loved that I felt at home, with the refridgerator and microwave available in room The comforter had cigaratte burns, holes and blanket had 2 stains that resembled blood. It was gross and I was disgusted by that, I advised the staff and they Immediately replaced the blanket and apologized.

Location, quiet rooms, very clean. Bathroom could use some updating. They could go with some bigger towels.

The noise from the road. Construction work noisy. The gardener was using his blower early in the morning.
