Quality Inn Fredericksburg, Central Park Area

Negatives: extra fee for having a pet; older buildings and rooms in need of freshening up, including better secured curtain rods, properly leveled refrigerator which was also missing the door to the freezer compartment; the central grassy area for dog walking needed mowing. Satisfactory for location and price.

Clean rooms and great staff

The staff were very pleasant and the room was very clean upon arrival! The shower was quite small and the shower head in my room (251) was bent so I couldn't adjust the water angle. The shower itself has a handicap bar in it and not being able to adjust the shower head made me constantly bump into the bar or smack the wall.

Nothing great but place to sleep while traveling.

It was a great location. It can use UPDATES & MORE CLEANLINESS.

While taking road trips we always stay here because it’s extremely clean. This is a no frills hotel but it’s close to the highway and restaurants making it easy for an overnight stopover. We consider this place a dependable option albeit very basic but it’s priced right. This last time we noticed a pool but it didn’t have any water in it. If they fill it up for the summer then I wholeheartedly recommend it for a stopover on your way to or from Disney.

Not bad at all! Room was clean and cool. Breakfast was sparing but there is a McDonald's within walking distance.

Multiple people were checking in and the registrar was courteous and efficient. The hotel room was clean but dated. Breakfast lady was very pleasant and the food was well stocked. Location was superb.

Check in was quick and the woman at the desk was very nice (I forgot her name) the room as clean, the ac worked and I was thrilled with the hot water in the shower. I was in town for the half marathon so I didnt eat breakfast there but everything else was great.

I slept great, and would’ve left a higher rating- but when I woke up I felt something on my face….and discovered big flying ants on the bed and the wall behind it. They hadn’t been there the night before (and I was only staying one night), otherwise I would’ve requested a new room. Decent hotel for the price, but definitely need to address the bug issue.

Front desk staff was very helpful, especially the younger woman. Rooms was spartan but clean. Area was quiet. For anyone with mobility impairments, second floor would be hard. It's just a bit tired and old. But so am I. :-)

Downstairs vending area card access did not work. Front desk said to upstairs. Upstairs vending only had a drink machine that was sold out of eveything. Room was terribly outboutdate and the tub didnt drain properly when taking a shower. Do not stay here.

My son was staying at another hotel that night, room was almost 3X the cost, and my room was just as comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate the many issues. Very nice people. TV did not work despite trying everything. The room had a lot of cobwebs with debris in them close to the door. The room itself when we first walked in had a strong odor.

The beds were clean. The lobby and the room smelled really bad. Room next door to ours were loud enough to hear over the TV and didn't quiet down till 7 am. So not much sleep. Picked up an air freshener for room.

The building appeared older and the room was in moderate condition with some loss of silver on the mirrors, somewhat shabby paint and bathroom fixtures. Being on the first floor near major roadways made for a noisy evening. Since the hotel accepts dogs I was hoping for plastic waste baggies and trash cans on the premises. Not horrible, but not the best I have seen in pet friendly hotels.

Basic hotel room. Noisy night club across from property. So no parking on weekends. So many people outside. Not safe area

Cheap, easy travel stop location...friendly staff. Kinda out dated and dirty.. the toilets are WAY too low to the ground. Should put some grip bars in to help people get back up! Bed is not comfortable. I can't sleep. Shower curtain is too high and water floods bathroom so there goes all the towels! No trash can in the bathroom. Key didn't work at first, had to get dogs all back into the car and drive back around again to get new key and new key doesn't even work well.... if your expectations are low and you just need a place to crash one night, this will do.

This hotel needs a lot of work inside and out. Rooms were really outdated. Bedding was minimal. There wasn’t even a standard pillow more like half a pillow. Shower head came to your chest - not above your head. Area around hotel was run down, not a good value for the cost. Find another place to stay.

Room was pretty clean. The sheets did feel a tiny bit gritty (like some sand got into the washing machines while the sheets were being washed). Air conditioning worked great even though it is the older type next to the window vs. a control on the wall. But overall, a good clean room.

I refused to stay because when I arrived the property looked nothing like the photos and was dirty outside the front entrance. When I came inside the lobby was pretty clean but there was a lot of concerning activity outside. I tried to get the front desk to switch me to another location but she had a nice attitude and there was no manager to speak to so I left. Of course I do not receive my money back but I would never book them again.

the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Just an old motel. Had trouble opening the door. I put the key card in and the green light appeared, but the door did not open. I went back to the front desk and they told me to push up on the handle. I did this and it worked -- just seemed odd.

It’s a 6 minute drive to downtown (the quaint area). There are restaurants you can walk to. It’s just what you need. We stayed only a few hours. There was loud metallic banging from the surrounding rooms, and it appeared some ladies had business going on there. The staff was very friendly and attentive. One staff member told me if I hadn't booked through a 3rd party site, she could have worked with me price wise, as I was there about 4 hours. Staff was very pleasant!!!

This property is not being well maintained: the toilet was not securely seated, water in the tub would not turn off. The ice machines were not all working. Breakfast was really poor...pre-fab eggs, white bread only (no other bread products), weak coffee, etc.

The housekeeping came banging on my door at 930 the checkout was 1100am. This is ridicoulous they charged me 100 fee for nothing technically incidental but they do not have room seevice seems like a place for transients. There was somwone blocking the stairwwll with hot pink hair! Dont stay here !

The stay was great until the last day when I had to deal with the manager stating that my dogs were not serviced dogs and I had to pay for them. Still waiting for a refund and corporate office doesn't do anything about their employees. How you're treated. They don't care really either and it's not such a big deal that's refund. It's the point of how she was treated us talking down to us and then called me back thinking I was my daughter saying my daughter was walking back but I wasn't because I was fighting for my rights as a disabled person to be able to bring my service dogs at no charge. That's my right. So if you go here and you don't have to deal with the manager and you don't have a service, dog will probably be okay

It was clean and I enjoyed my stay. I wish the pool had been open but that was not the main reason I stayed. I did not go to the restaurant next door and can't comment on if it was good. Would stay again if I could do it again.

Our vehicle broke down on our way back home to Florida. I found Quality Inn online for a great price. The dealership thst we were working with assured us the area was safe. There's a sign on the lobby door that says no pets, but it is a pet friendly hotel. The gentleman who greeted me and checked me in was very friendly and cheerful. Upholstered chair was ratted and worn as well as the other desk chair. My wife did not feel comfortable putting her personal things on any part of this room. Bed was clean and bath was clean, the only reason we stayed. Complimentary breakfast was fine, basic which we expected. We will not book with Quality Inn again.

I was traveling and it was late so I stopped at this Quality Inn as it was one of the few places not completely booked. It was perfect for sleeping from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. but I would want more amenities if I were vacationing.

Check in staff was nice. However, they charged $125 for incidentals and the sign said it was only $100, i told them they need to remove the sign at the desk cause it says $100. I took a photo. We were in town visiti g our 2 sons, they wouldnt give us an extra chair for an hour, wouldnt hive us extra blanks. Wanted to charge us $25 more if we wanted to checkout 30mins later then the normal checkout. Beds are HARD. Tub doesnt drain. Definitely one of the worst hotels we have stayed in.

The rooms were for the most part clean but you could tell not everything was touched per say (hair behind the toilet, spit spots on the mirror behind the door, some surfacs diry). But the towels and sheets were fresh, the bed was comfy, and the water was hot! The breakfast was meh and I recommend a room not near the front (extremely noisy). Overall I would definitely stay again.

The smoke detector battery needed to be changed. When I called the front desk to let them know they said they would send someone. Time passed, so I called again. The front desk said they forgot and would send someone again. They came in with another faceplate with a good battery and tried to attach it but you could tell it wasn’t attached properly.

Got a great welcome at reception. Hotel had what we needed in terms of facilities etc.

For the cost and convenience it was a good stay

Unfortunately, this stay was horrible. We were not looking for anything fancy, but there is a bar/restaurant in the same parking lot, and I guess the party continued all night because it was SO loud. On top of this, there is a fire station in the same parking lot as well, and there were two calls in the night. The biggest complaint though, our shower did not work. Not at all. There was zero water coming out, and my husband thinks it was going into the wall. We called the front desk, no one answered. At check out, there was no staff at the front desk to tell, apparently he was in the restroom…but after 20 minutes we just had to go. Very frustrating.

Older property reasonably maintained.

This felt like a very unsafe environment, being that padlocks were on the inside hallway doors, a loud bar is next door, and half the room doors don’t open on the property. I would have rather eaten another $100 and stayed at a place where I felt I could actually lay in the bed. The bed was stained, the room felt dirty, it was loud all night with motorcycles. Never again.

It was a quick stop for us while on the road... staff was polite and friendly and check in was quick. Typical motel room that was relatively clean but nothing special. Basic but tasty free breakfast with simple options. Free parking with lots of space and restaurants nearby.

Very nice and helpful staff.

The floors were filthy. The tub had a Matt in it and several strands of hair. Stains on the wall that looked like boogers. Lastly the room had a wet mildew smell. We had to use Lysol to help kill the smell.

This property is dated but is clean and perfect for an overnight. It is located in a commercial area with plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and a very basic included breakfast that was fine for a quick bite before getting on the road.

There was nothing we didn’t like. One of the best things is Cowboy Jacks restaurant opposite the check in building. Room was clean, no carpet comfy bed

Dumpy- bugs in the bathroom, walls in poor shape, bathtub well beyond its life. Our extra security lock on the door was busted. People walking by talking on their phones, it sounded like they were in the room with us. The noise from the road was brutal - though it did quiet down after midnight ish (I think there was a truck rally or something going on) - would not recommend.

I mean it wasn’t a decent maybe ok might but for 100 dollar deposit I’d expect the room and actual hotel area to be nicer the amenities around it are great it’s Fredericksburg but the hotel itself is ehh

Had my 100.00 cash nightly deposit stol3n by employee and told it was due to condition of the room that I made sure was not dirty or damaged due to the costly deposit we wanted returned. They told us when we were checking in that the deposit would be returned in 7-10 business days if put on a card but immediately if we paid cash. So that is what we opted to do... DON'T PAY CASH, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

The staff was great and the rooms were clean, especially for the price point but the rooms were a little run down and outdated. The noise from outside would be my biggest complaint. Although, there’s only some much they can do about that with exterior hotel doors.

I was located near a very busy road.

Stay elsewhere. First, the rooms look like jail cells. Our room needed a dehumidifier desperately…everything felt wet and smelled musty. The people at the front desk are very nice, but the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired.
