They have only one elevator and my room was next to the elevator so it was noisy.

Basic, clean room. Ok for quick stop while we traveled. Not for long stays.

The facility was nice and clean. However my room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of order which made it difficult for me to get to my room. Climbing the stairs was difficult.

Our family (4 adults) only stayed for the weekend, but we were overall satisfied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was free breakfast every morning--nothing fancy, but with enough options for everyone to find something they liked. The location is close to major highways and restaurants. I only have two criticisms. (1) Housekeeping does not clean rooms every day. They do it every OTHER day. For the record, I've never stayed at a hotel where rooms weren't cleaned on a daily basis, so I was a bit surprised. (2) The pillows were horribly flat! Two of us actually went to a nearby Walmart to purchase pillows so we could sleep comfortably. That did the trick. I did appreciate that the mattresses weren't lumpy. They were pretty firm for this hotel which was a plus. Overall, this was a decent place to stay for a quick weekend (we stayed Friday and Saturday and checked out on Sunday). I do advise to make your reservations as early as possible because it seems hotels fill up pretty fast (including this one) this time of year. (The weekend before Memorial Day)

This is an average, facility. Staff is great. The mattress was minimum acceptable, and needs to be replaced. The shower was crap. Barley any water comes out and takes a very long time to get hot. Other than that, good breakfast, good location.

There were small issues ( out of their control) like burst pipes and didn't really affect us, remote didn't work on the tv , nothing major. The continental breakfast was better than any normal highway hotel. The real break out "star" for this hotel is the staff, we were checked in by the nicest front desk staff. I can't remember her name but she was so kind. She offered all kinds of suggestions where to eat, where to go and asked if we needed anything evertime we walked past. She had hand made bags of treats that when I was looking for something in their little store, she gave me a snack bag for free.

We were traveling with teens so they are never not hungry, I was pleasantly surprised that the snacks offered downstairs weren’t over priced. I was able to get water, candy, and cup noodles for less than 10’dollars. I also appreciated that breakfast was a really breakfast not just cereal and milk and yogurt. They had bacon!! Most places don’t have bacon! Love that! I didn’t like that housekeeping carts were kept on the hall our entire stay, did it bother us no but it was like 2/3 carts on the hall way. There was also a power outage from like 2 am - 5 am not sure what happened.

We parked and were checking the lot to make sure we could park there when a small pickup entered the lot and just sat there for ten minutes. I thought he was surveilling the restaurant but then left so found the hospital a better proposition. Next morning the walk to my vehicle under normal circumstances would be an afterthought but at 9 degrees F it was uncomfortable when I should have been able to park in hotel lot.

The bed was comfortable and the bath, while small, was nice. The breakfast was being set up when we left (very early), but the bar looked like it had a ton. We were able to grab a banana before heading off. The room was a little warm and it was a somewhat hard to regulate the temp.

Will be definitely returning staff was great always asking if I needed anything towels toilet paper and trash . The breakfast was always on time kept putting more stuff once they saw something was done . I really enjoyed my stay plus food options around the area was great and if u had to visit the hospital literally walking distance.

The tv didn’t have a lot to choose from and far as the stations and the internet was so slow that while watching Netflix , a prompt came on advising internet was too slow to try again. They have a great snack bar which is reasonably priced for a hotel.

The lobby and common area looked newly and nicely renovated. Breakfast was excellent for a free hotel breakfast and service was great. Very clean. However, rooms seemed as though they were half way renovated. Walls were old, bathrooms old, sinks old and out of the bathrooms. Rooms and hallways had a musty old smell as if the property used to be a smoking property and wasn’t anymore despite carpet being replaced. Looks like bedding could be replaced too. Bedding was discolored and skirt was ripped. Again, weird bc half the room looked brand new. Def hard to give this a great rating especially after staying at the Marriott in Ashland which looked as though rooms were all co lately Rennovated.

We were traveling to Florida just before hurricane Milton and needed more time in Fredericksburg and she was not only friendly but also very professional and kind. She booked us for 2 more nights and got us a very nice room. I would recommend this place.

I got a Suite with a king room. After we arrived there was not a separate room. There wasn’t a door nor a complete wall to separate one room from another. The whole point of getting a suite is so that you have a separate bedroom. Had I known this I would have stayed elsewhere where the bedroom is separate from the other room in the suite.

I didn’t like the change of my room to 2 queens instead of a king that I already paid for. The frame around the bathroom mirror was ragged and torn. It was very ugly to look at. I usually go with Hilton. I liked the water pressure in the shower.

It would move wildly when you turned the water on/off and we were scared it would just snap and water would go everywhere. The mirror above the sink was also incredibly water damage. The rest of the room was on par with what I would have expected and was relatively clean.

I understand that the hotel is undergoing renovations. Didn’t know that before I arrived. Only thing that really needs attention is the mattress and pillows need replacing. Still all in all it is a good stay and price was great.

We love this hotel! It’s here is a pool and very nice breakfast. All though the hotel was being renovated, which we appreciate, there was minimal impact. The work people were polite and accommodating. There is an excellent Himalayan restaurant next door, too!

Don’t stay here, you’ll pay HOTEL price for MOTEL quality. The check in process was rough but the woman running the desk was polite and kind which made the experience better. The place smells and is in shambles, there was a leak in my room and bugs/spiders throughout. Don’t overpay for this place, stay elsewhere!

I booked three rooms through hotels.com but when I checked in - My room was fine. Then my coworker was not in the fairfield system at all! Ended up having to book another room directly with them at extra expense, despite pulling it up on my phone and showing I had three rooms with all of the correct names and giving the itinerary number. The 3rd room showed as cancelled that day! What a joke. She was able to reinstate the 3rd room, but what a MESS. I don't know if this was a hotels.com issue or a fairfield issue, but I was a refund for the 2nd room under Jeff Trembley. Thank god they had an open room or we would have been really screwed. I will not be using hotels.com in the future. Unaccepatable, get your act together.

This was a great hotel for our road trip back home from Florida. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was clean. My wife wasn’t a fan of the mattress, but the others in our party slept just fine. We would definitely stay here again!

We should have been notified by email prior to our arrival that the pool would be under renovation. We choose this hotel because we knew we were traveling and would need a pool to relax after a hard drive. .

Overall, the experience was average. Beds were comfortable, shower was good, breakfast had variety. However, we booked a room with two queen beds and the beds were full sized. I am over 6'2 so thats the only reason that mattered. But I still managed to sleep okay. The heater was also very noisy. We take this path a lot since my girlfriend's family is lives in Pennsylvania, so I wouldn't rule it out as an option, but if there was a similar hotel in the same price range, with actual queen beds, I would consider that option first.

Came to breakfast around 8:30 and there was no real food around. The waffle machine had no cups, there was no bread for the toaster and there were only 2 breakfast sandwiches left. Yes there was someone there to resupply the food, but that took 15 minutes.

I had dirty sheets on my bed. Employee brought sheets to me to change the bedding instead of them doing this. Management did not offer me compensation initiallly until I complained to corporate. I received 42.50 in compensation. Poor management. I will never stay at Fairfield again!

Bathroom was just not functional. No counter to put toiletries on. No space next to the sink. Shower rod barely attached to wall -- instead of bowing out it bowed down causing tge curtain to gather at tge center allowing shower water to escape at both ends and allowing cold air to enter while showering. Because of the curtain, the shower space was extremely cramped.

Very comfortable pillow top mattress and I LOVE the exhaust in the commode. Also separate from the sink. Only minus is the size of the sink space for toiletries.Overall a plus. Do not hesitate to book.

Perhaps it was the handicap room which we did not need, but there was no counter space in the bathroom. It was difficult to use it comfortably. Otherwise everything was fine.

first room smelled like Indian food, so I was moved by the friendly staff to a new room, which was fine until middle of the night the fan/AC made a loud enough clunking noise that I had to turn it off. I should have asked to be moved again.

Front desk could have been a bit friendlier, but she was fine. I like the compactness of the hotel room, but the walls are very thin. We were awakened in the morning by the sounds of the child next door who was doing nothing out of the ordinary for a person of his age.

The hotel is out of shape. It was very clean, but our room smelled bad and one of the lamp shades was broken. The refrigerator was not working upon arrival. It took several hours to cool it down. The breakfast was okay, but if you are hoping for waffles you will be disappointed. They don't offer any, even though there is a waffle maker on the image of the hotel

Front desk staff was very nice and explained everything about the amenities in this property. For the short time we where there it certainly served it’s purpose.

The property was not the in the best shape. It was shabby inside. It could of been cleaned better.

Our bed was very low, almost on the ground.

This is the second time I have stayed here. Everything is fine except for the breakfast. For both stays the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The service was good and the cleanliness impeccable.

The staff was professional, kind and provided all amenities available and included in our stay.

We stay in this property when we are driving down South. It is clean, safe, convenient, affordable, nice breakfast, nice pool.

Breakfast hours could be a little longer! Did not get to have breakfast arrived late!

The hotel itself was clean. The hotel dud not have the updates as some other Marriotts have had as far as linen and decor. For the price I was surprised. The staff however was remarkable ss always.
