The location is very convenient. Lots nearby for a quick stay onto your next destination. We were able to park and walk to dinner and get some refreshments to take back to the room. The room was what we expected. The bed was very comfortable to our surprise. The front desk lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. She really made it a great checkin. I would say overall it was similar to other Econo lodges we have stayed at but the customer service we received was wonderful. We would stay there again.

The staff was friendly but the environment did not feel safe. There were a lot of people loitering around the building and in cars. The sheets were stained and the towels were dirty. I immediately left and booked another hotel closer to my event, that was safer, cleaner and more convenient to shopping.

Plenty shops nearby. Was able to visit a sports store to purchase a shirt for my run the next day.

We were right across the street from Central Park. Also, close to I95. No real amenities just coffee and hot water in the morning and they did have an ice machine . It covered all that we required and the staff was accommodating and friendly.

There was shopping everywhere and plenty of restaurants. The cost afforded me the opportunity to even go on this trip. Thank you.

Hallways and units stunk of weed. we were in a no smoking room. Every hour someone was smoking stinky weed probably next door and it was making our room smelly and hard to breathe. Otherwise, it is your very basic low star hotel.

Nothing The place stunk of old smoke and current pot smoking on the NON-SMOKING floor we were on. Staff did NOTHING to investigate or stop it. I'll never stay at an Econolodge anywhere ever again!

The employees I spoke to were reasonable, but seemed surprised that there were issues. I was able to obtain a refund for the second night after leaving early despite the website saying it wouldn't be possible, but it did take more than a week to go through. I shouldn't have booked at a place that allowed smoking anywhere in the facility. I booked the accessible room, which was listed as non-smoking, but the room smelled very strongly of marijuana. Additionally, the lobby smelled overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke, which I found intolerable even though I don't have any breathing issues or sensitivity to smells.

I had driven 5 hours in the rain and wanted a place close to interstate 95. This was the cheapest option and overall it wasn't bad. The walls are thin and I heard the couple next door all night. The bed and room were clean and comfortable and there is a mall with restaurants within walking distance. The thin walls and the towels were not clean. One looked like it had blood on it or rust. (everything else was clean so I will hold the thought it was rust and it was a simple mistake)

Location rocks, staff tries to be helpful, friendly people, dogs were all so awesome, easy parking and check in/out, hot shower with strong water pressure, very quiet, air conditioner worked quickly. Great ice machine on first floor was helpful. Shampoo dispenser in shower handy. Art on wall was more interesting than most hotels. Outlet on lamp to charge phone handy. Did not find any bugs! Doesn’t smell as bad as it looks! Motivated me to raise my travel expense to work out of town. Sticky dirty floors=burning those socks! Whoosh, dust bunny stalactites stuck in the popcorn ceiling hanging over the bed like little gargoyles watching ya sleep, gobs of hair stuck on walls and cords……….ugh, all around dirty room, bed. Lumpy, lumpy pillows making a chiropractor smile somewhere off in the distance. Dirty bathroom with piles of ash & nail clipping greeting will forever haunt my nightmares with spine shivers. Left clothes packed cause drawers were dirty with I don’t wanna know what. Rust ,dust and sticky was my room’s adventure theme. Made my return home that evening even more richly savored and appreciated. Whoooosh!

The room towels were stained, and the back door to get into the hallway was left unlocked all night so the security wasn't safe.

The price was decent that’s all I can say good The hall way smelled god awful. The carpet was so dirty in the halls my feet stuck to it. When I got into the room. The place smelled like chemicals from a pool. Ironically enough there was no pool. Every 10 minutes a cop would patrol the premises.

Your pictures completely misrepresent this place. The hallways are dim and smelled of weed. The window on the first floor room I had was barred with a wooden stick. While the staff was very friendly, we could not stay in this dingy place. We decided to just eat the non-refundable charge for our stay (about $500 between our two rooms) and stay elsewhere.

The room could have used alittle more light in the front area of it so could see self in that mirror next to the dresser. Other than that it was good enough for 1 night. Staff was very friendly. There were more than enough towels too ! I left my pjs there but oh well.

The gentleman working in the evening to check us in was really nice. Once we got to the room on the first floor we were able to order Uber delivery which was very convenient. Around 10/11pm the people above us on the second floor sounded like they were having a party, and the floor was incredibly squeaky and we could hear right through. Very good area, nearby plenty of stores and food. Both Starbucks and Dunkin nearby for us when we left in morning I would have liked 4 pillows on bed, 2 for each of us instead of only 3 pillows But that could be easily fixed if I really wanted to, which I didn't. If we are in this area again we will definitely stay here.

The staff was friendly but the property itself is just average but the price fits what you get. The first room the tv didn’t work but they moved us to another room. The second room had cigarette burn hole in the sheets, the toilet seat was peeling, and the tub was squeaky every time you move. It is a smoking hotel so even if you get a non smoking room, unfortunately it still smells like smoke. The bed was super comfy though and the room itself wasn’t bad. It’ll due in a pinch for sure and it’s pet friendly.

The fridge cubby was nasty it looked like someone shaved there head and tossed the clippings there it’s very dirty. Also our toilet flooded and they gave me a mop with a towel not a mop head attached.

They also don't understand their reservation or hotel system very well I couldn't get a printed receipt nor did they ever email me one as promised.

Wow. What can I say!? This Hotel is the best hotel in all of Virginia. The staff was amazing, mainly the nice lady who worked at the front desk. I do not remember her name, but she was truly a joy for the entire week that I stayed there during my travels to Fredericksburg, VA. I did not have any plans to come back to Fredericksburg in the near future, but now I do after staying at the Econo Lodge Spotsylvania Town Center Hotel. The unlimited coffee and tea was great and the location alone (close to the nice Mall/Town Center and Downtown Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania) was super convenient. I will definitely be staying here again if they even have any vacancies, as both short and long time hotel visitors/residents were also very friendly and personable. Everyone here was super nice and the cleaning staff was very friendly as well. This Hotel, albeit the surrounding area might look a little run down, was super clean and very very accomdating. I look forward to staying here again and checking out the rest of Fredericksburg/Spotsylvanvia. Thank you.

First I was asked to leave a $50 deposit after they didn’t have my room that I reserved. Room supposed to be non smoking but reeked of cigarettes. Then on top of that the air conditioning button to make it cooler was broken so the room was warm all night very uncomfortable.

I had a very good stay,I like that the hotel is near soo many different stores and right off the main road,when I am in town again I will look to stay at the econo lodge again.

For the low price, we got a clean room, comfy bed and nice shower. No coffee, but worth it. Right by the EV charger we needed! $15 for the dog was reasonable too. No complaints. BK coffee next door was just fine.

Very basic hotel. No breakfast. Coffee in the lobby if you get there at the right time. Walking distance to the mall if that is your thing. The staff was nice enough, but this is an older property that needs a facelift.

Staff was nice. Found used condom and other trash in room from prior guest. There appeared to be a prostitute and her pimp at the front of the business. I have photos of her leaning into a car from the sidewalk. The lady was staying at the property. I will not stay here again.

It took quite awhile to check in, even though l was served immediately. They said l needed to make a $50 deposit for the room, even though l had prepaid for the room itself, and they said the $50 wouldn’t be credited for 5-7 days (wth?!?). Also, there were “craters” in the driveway/parking lot entrance, which l feared hitting and messing up my car. There was also a sign at the check-out desk about “a fee for checking out early’(???). The bed was very comfortable, and the room was well supplied and very clean..but don’t think l will stay there again.

WiFi is very slow.

When checking in there is a $50 deposit for all reservations from third party websites like Expedia. Just be aware of that. Also the bed was not comfortable for me.

The rooms are musty - they smell like old socks. Everything in the bathroom is made for people under five feet tall. They don’t even provide full size pillows - they’re square like throw pillows. This place is easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Shower didnt work thta great. needs repair. aside from that, neighboring unit was noisy, and made it difficult to sleep. it was an adjoined room that was locked. it sounded like they were right next to me though.

It was a disgusting place to stay. I didn’t even sleep on the bed it looked so nasty. I had to buy an air freshener and put in the a/c unit to take the bad smell out the room. If I hadn’t already driven 14 hours I would have just got my money back and left

Being told at check in that a $50 deposit was held with no prior notice. The "breakfast" was a bowl of oatmeal packets on a dirty counter. The front desk clerk was friendly. The beds and rooms were decent for the price.

Walls are paper thin. Could hear other guests 3 rooms away- noisy all night. Supposed to have free breakfast, consists of prepackaged stale danish and oatmeal no milk. Pillows for bed are super small and not standard size.

Had to request a second room as first one still dirty. Sticky stuff in desk and kids toys left behind. Dirty towels in bathroom. 2nd room no better. We all slept in our clothes. Didn’t stay for breakfast as we were afraid it was like the rooms. Can’t believe they charge what they do.

Waited a good 15-20 minutes at the front desk upon checking in as nobody was around. Rooms stunk and overrun with cigarette smoke. Rooms looked nothing like the website. Apparently the place was being remodeled. One of the 4 rooms was 1/2 undone with beds in the center of room due to construction. You get what you pay for I guess. Overall terrible.

The property was filthy, pubic hairs all over the bathroom. Bathroom had a giant hole in the door. Coffee pot in room but no cups . Batteries dead in the remote control, the carpets actually felt sticky. Lamp shades had holes in them, we didn’t even have normal pillows. They were small accent pillows. Then I was told upon arrival I had to pay a 50$ deposit which was not indicated anywhere when I booked the room. I would never ever stay here again and would never recommend anyone else to.

This Econolodge was just changed over from a Super 8 about 2 weeks ago. It consists of 3 floors and no elevator access. We had a room on the 3rd floor. The room was okay. There were a couple of holes in the wall, no overhead lighting and 2 desk lamps (one did not have a light bulb). The bed was comfortable but the box spring was torn and stained. At check-in, the clerk took a photo copy of our cc which I promptly asked to have. I spoke to the desk clerk upon check out and was informed that it is not their policy to photo copy cc. The room had a nice refrigerator and microwave with in room coffee maker. A la carte breakfast was available and not too bad. This property is in need of updates.

The bed was super soft and everything was clean. The front desk was very helpful.

Beds where comfortable and staff friendly, definitely not a high class hotel, but not the worst either.

Bathroom was small.room smoke detector was covered by paper obviously housekeeping don't do a thorough room check when cleaning apart from that stay was fine
