While staying at this motel, my daughter was assaulted by another tenant. The police were called and the offender arrested. My family an I were then banned from the property for "drawing too much attention".

My Experience Was Great From The Moment I Checked In It Was Great,The Only Small Complaint I Have Is The Shower Head In The Bathroom And There Was So Noise Above Me But Other Than That Over All I Have No Complaints Will Definitely Stay There Again

First impression was not great, it looked run down. Looked like we would get robbed. The room had the bare minimum. Half the stairs were blocked off and could only use one set. They had actual people living in half the rooms on a daily basis. Kids running up and down the stairs. Opened the door in the morning and all you could smell was weed. We didnt want to stay the night but didn't want to be out of the money that we purchased the room with. Only good thing was that it was 15-20 minutes from everything we wanted to explore.

Rundown motel. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were a solid piece of foam. Minimal amenities available, no hairdryer and few towels. Holes in the wall and gaps around the door open to the exterior. Door did not look secure and deadbolt was damaged. Didn’t really feel safe in the room and the area in general.

The room was dirty and needs serious updates. Door didn't shut all the way light didn't work. Flithy. Nothing really workedstains everywhere(linens, curtains, walls floors, tub, sink, toilet, etc. Half of the stairs outside are taped off and the other half should be. Felt like it should be turned into a homeless shelter. HORRIBLE!!!!!

The shower had black mold in the grooves. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall and the curtain could not close. Water was everywhere. The floor was uneven and looked like it had been warped by water. Room was clean but not appealing

The building is older but it was well maintained, clean and quiet. It was a great stay in a good location. I felt safe as a single female and the room was very clean and stocked with fresh linens. Beds were comfortable.

I came to America's best value inn because I refused to stay at the dump pay less hotel. America's best value inn had a big ice machine,a refrigerator with freezer where I was able to refreez my ice packs for my cooler plus fill my cooler with ice from their ice machine. The AC in my room worked great. Nice big TV with working remote. Plenty of towers,soap, conditioner/shampoo. Comfortable bed. The painting in the bathroom in areas could be better. But this was a huge step up from the dump Expedia AARP travel pay less bump hotel!

This is a bare bones motel to stay at and for the price I paid, I knew that was what I was getting. I needed a bed for a few hours and for that, it was sufficient. However, the room clearly has not been updated in a long time and the door, while closed and secure, does not seem to fit all the way. Plenty of light from the balcony was able to get in. The sink was also cracked, and there was hair left on the sink counter. While they offer a 24-hour front desk, I clearly woke up the woman who was on the clock. She was friendly enough, but the interaction was kept minimal on her part. I would only recommend this for a one-night stay if you are in need of something quick, cheap, and don't require any frills while in the midst of a road trip. Outside of that, spend the extra money and stay at something that has a few more upgrades.

The location made everything very convenient for the duration of my stay. WiFi was good as well! The microwave didn't work. The sink and mirror looked a little busted. There was also a mouse trap, I didn't see one, but the trap made the stay give me a little anxiety.

The staff is very helpful and will take care of anything you have a problem with, just go to office to speak with them.

The rooms are good other than the floors. The floors are FILTHY. The cleaning crew needs to focus on actually cleaning them. I personally don't think they ever sweep or mop the floors. I took a shower and as fast as I left the bathroom to turn the lights out for the night,my feet were black from walking through the room before turning out the light beside the bed. This problem has been addressed many times but ignored. PLEASE CLEAN THE FLOORS IN EVERY ROOM!!!!!

The entire AC was old, rusted and had buttons broken off so I had to guess where it was even positioned. Accidentally turned the heat on for a second and it was HOT when I stayed there. I walked into the room to see not one but THREE cockroach bait catchers in thw corners. All appliances but the fridge and TV looked they came straight out of the 70s/80s. The water pressure was more like a mister than a shower but at least the water stayed warm. The decor/linen for the bedding felt more like a prison than a hotel. I was in a non-smoking room but had to pass other smoking? rooms on the way to mine because the staircase closest to my room is being repaired according to the attendant that STANK of weed. You could literally see directly to the outdoors in a crack around the AC so if a creeper wanted to, they could spy on you. My door didn't even have the additional safety latch. It was rusted and broken off. I had to pile my stuff in front of the door to feel safe. The bedding was stained and/or wasn't cleaned properly. The staircase that WAS open had the first step higher than the differential of all the other steps so I tripped about three times moving things in/out and there's no sign to give warning. The floor wasn't even swept/vacuumed. I could go on but I think I've gotten the gist of it across. Never. Ever. Staying again.

Several random bags of clothing and dog crate left by prior guest in the common area. Hotel is run down. I needed some where quick to stay, but as the saying goes. You get what you pay for. Even still, I was not expecting this level. I literally brought myself a lesson on this booking. Never again.

The most horrifying motel experience we have EVER experienced. They charged me extra money for pets and for the people that took us to the motel they charged 40 more dollars and we even got threatened. There was NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING we liked about it and disliked EVERYTHING about it . They need to be shut down . PERIOD.

Nothing In the room the locks were broken, the bathtub had a big hole in it, there was pet hair all over the cover and the heater didn’t work!!! Very unhappy with our stay!!

I informed him I had my children and husband with me and we needed more than 2 sets of towels. The gentleman that checked me in also said I need to change my room type and my price then jumped from $124 to $170 and they downgraded my room! Never again!

When we returned we got the key and drove around the side of the building to locate our room. The metal stairs were rusty. Inside the room, it is really in need of an upgrade. I went to place my dog's water bowl on the floor and found a black greasy film all along the baseboard and a roach trap in the tub. In the bathroom there was a six inch circular area of porcelain missing in the tub wall. There was what looked like semen tried on the wall by the bed. We left immediately and just drove straight through to our home. I don't know why my early check in request was denied, they surely didn't clean it. Don't get me wrong, it is tricky traveling with a dog. I know you don't get the nicest rooms. And I know you get what you pay for but jeez louise I expected more than this.

The hotel is reasonably priced, has good staff and friendly staff. The hotel was clean, but unfortunately I saw 4 or 5 cockroaches in my room. That's why I slept with the light on. Everything else was fine.

However, as I was leaving i saw a few cockroaches scramble around. And the caulking around the tub was black- both of which are concerning and disappointing. definitely due for some upgrades- but most of that doesn’t impact the utilitarian needs of a cheap stay. Check-in was a breeze, kind and welcoming.

I was told at check in they were working on renovations but my room was not one of the renovated rooms. Too bad this info was not on the Expedia booking site, as it would have influenced my decision. Unfair to pay for something that is not as advertised in the website. :(

Stayed with my husband for a night 31/03/2025 on the way to our final destination. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean, comfortable room, safe/quiet outside, and polite/ fast front desk service when we came to the hotel at midnight.

It was quiet. Had a handicap room and the shower did not have a handheld nozzle all kinds of facilities for food and snacks within a short walk. Very close to the I-95

DO NOT STAY AT THIS ROACH INFESTED HOTEL. If you have an appreciation for any level of basic hygiene and cleanliness, do not stay at this disastrous hotel. Despite the infestation they have, the walls are torn up, splattered with all different sorts of who knows what. Stains on the furniture and even the curtains. I decided to get out after one night and would’ve sooner if not for being exhausted from driving. I admittedly didn’t immediately complain. What’s the point? To just be put in another roach infested room? There are reviews going back years on here mentioning their roach infestation and the abysmal conditions of the rooms. On my way out however, I spoke with a housekeeping girl and politely mentioned the roaches(gee maybe you might wanna get rid of them??). She immediately got defensive and told me to go tell the front office, I wasn’t going to waste my time. Unexpectedly then I got a call from the front office asking if I was staying another night. I informed them that having roaches crawl on me for one night was enough. Again, I was met with an immediately defensive attitude and told I should’ve told someone earlier if I actually had a problem with it. As if the timing should really matter when your hotel IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES. Absolutely unbelievable. Again, there are reviews going back years mentioning this repulsive problem. They clearly have NO shame about running a hotel crawling with roaches. This place should be shut down by the health department.

The bedding and towels were clean,bed and pillows comfortable. The room needs update. No table and chairs, no any hooks in room or bathroom,no toilet brush.

I always do the wet rag test...when I scrubbed the floor the rag stayed white. My room was very clean. It was quiet and no rowdy next door neighbors. The saff were so nice and respectful. Viewing other comments they must have changed staff and gotten an exterminator. I had a very pleasant experience.

It wreaks of stale cigarettes, cheap perfume and broken dreams. The tv didn't work, the phone didn't work and when I went to find the clerk, she was MIA (multiple times). We ended up leaving and going down the road to another hotel.

Dirty room. Water stopper in the sink broken so the water could not flush out. Even found an old running shoe at the edge of the bed that didn’t belong to us. Tells you how they clean the room before you visit them…

This is my 1st choice when i visit Fredericksburg. Staff is very Hospitable and friendly. Ivo was especially kind. It doesn't get better than this. Very clean.

The floor was filthy, there was no refrigerator, no toiletries, and let’s not forget our amazing roommates…COCKROACHES!!!! Disgusting! Only thing nice was the lady at the front desk! Will never be back!!

The room wasn’t available for check in at 4:20pm where we were told they needed another 30 minutes. An hour later upon entry the room smelled of a cleaning agent so strong we needed more time out of it or air it out. No one outside the office staff speaks English. No breakfast as stated in their page of advertisement.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. Could not get TV reception as someone had messed with the input. Coffee maker missing its slide-in tray so could not use. Overall a good place to stay for the price and convenience.

Room fine. Exterior dated and could be cleaner. Lots of hotels in the area so a wide variety of people. Parking lot noise comes in more than from adjoining rooms.

Disgusting. Cigarette holes in the sheets, the room smelled of smoke, the door didn’t close fully, the bathroom had stains all over.

Room wreaked of cigarette smoke, there were burn holes in the beds and the walls are paper thin. Heard every single word our neighbors said all night long, and got to deal with the smell of weed as they stood outside smoking and being loud until 4am. Worst night sleep we’ve gotten at a hotel, and if we hadn’t drove 12+ hours with an exhausted toddler we would’ve found somewhere else to stay. I do not recommend, especially with small children.
