The breakfast and lounge area was very tastefully designed. They don’t charge for parking which made it extra valuable for this hotel. Will definitely come back next time.

Great hotel. The hotel was very clean, spacious, and centrally located to numerous shops and restaurants. It’s also conveniently located close to the expressway so traveling to other destinations was a breeze. The hotel also offered free parking and an excellent continental breaks that includes omelets, hash browns, sausage, and delicious coffee.

However staff gave confusing info about time for breakfast and had to ask front desk to have our room service which was only changing towels !!!! Had to address the issue with staff since house keeping was to service room every other day but they only came to change towels!!!

Breakfast was amazing with many generous options to choose from. It was prepared with care and love and professionalism. The front desk was very helpful. I forgot my phone charger and panicking but this genteman at the front desk kindly let me borrow one that works. It'a walking distance to restaurants, starbucks and stores. The toilet did not have a bidet.

Pricing was a little higher this year. Breakfast is not too good. The sheets on the roll away bed were soiled.

Stayed in a queen one bedroom suite with our two dogs and father in law on the pull out couch. He managed, but the couch bed was super slouchy. Queen bed was very comfy, would have preferred a king bed option. Huge rooms and closet/drawer space. Lots of very decent breakfast foods included (for US standards, which are much worse than the rest of the world). Good location right next to shopping, near bay walking trails, and many restaurants. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Warm bedroom lighting was refreshing considering many US hotels are turning to insane asylum lighting.

Staff and property were fantastic and the place felt brand new. The location is really great, convenient to the 101 and all East Side Freeways, too, right across the bridge (FYI - can be a $4-$7 toll to come back over the bridge!) Will stay again, I'm sure. AC controls in the room were finicky to get right, but not noisy. Bathroom lighting could be brighter, too, but definitely NOT a deal breaker! Overall, 9.5/10!

However, both nights were disturbed by fire alarms requiring evacuation due to people cooking and setting off the alarm. Additionally, the walls are paper thin and i was awakened one time by my neighbors being intimate and another time by neighbors fighting.

The bathroom and the room was really clean, the towels were white! Love the kitchenette with stove, microwave, dishwasher, utensils, pots n pans! Quality furnishings. Location is close to stores. Good fr shopping. I'd recommend this hotel! No pool so not suitable fr kids or families. More of an adult/businessmen hotel.

Front desk was friendly and funny and was so wonderful to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom suite which our son truly appreciated 👏 We'll absolutely stay here again on our next trip thru the area.

Traveled with Family to the bay area, decided to stay in a 2 queen room. The staff was very friendly about everything, they even gave us a room on their highest floor-5th floor-had a good view. The room was spacious and beautiful. We loved having a living space - mainly a nice size refrigerator. Nice to know I could've prepared food, if we wanted. Spacious bathroom, bed - lovely having nightstands for each side with THREE drawers. Enough space in closet and drawers, if needed. (We only stayed one night.) I especially appreciated the vanity area and having a full length mirror and two other mirrors, (vanity and bathroom). I told my husband I would stay here any other time we were in the area. GREAT breakfast! I didn't like that the bathroom was only a 3/4 - no bathtub. The fact that the refrigerator "greeted" us, as we opened the door, but understand that was probably architecturally the best way to get the best use of space with providing a kitchen.

Despite being one of the newer hotels on the mid-peninsula, this hotel already needs some updates, mostly in the bathroom. Rusting mirror and grunge in the grout around the tub means this hotel has been used a lot! For this reason, we won't choose this hotel again, especially when newer, better-condition hotels are nearby.

The property was very clean and the staff was very nice. I am most particular about the bathroom and the shower. Most hotels that we've stayed at, the bathtub is usually clogged so you are showering with the water pooling on your feet. Not very clean after all. This hotel, however, is not like that. It wasn’t the best experience I have had. The bed was broken and didn’t know it til we got back from a real nice dinner. The breakfast was mediocre. The comfort of the bed was horrible too. My wife is handicapped and she was in so much pain sleeping on the bed. She barely slept and cried most of the night. I didn’t sleep well at all either. Couldn’t get comfortable either. I think I will stay somewhere else next time. The staff didn’t really care when I told them about our night. They just looked at us and said ok, we will have someone look at the bed after you check out. Really!!!

It was an amazing stay particularly the mini-kitchen and we will for sure come back, plus promote to others. Front desk staff should be especially commended, such as Dan, Marina, and the Asian female front desk person who checked us in (apologies for not taking down her name). There was a big bug crawling on our table in our bedroom which I reported and showed at the front desk. Our first day check in was a little slow like the lady didn’t know the process but we finally got checked in when she called the manager. The staff at the breakfast buffet were very friendly and did excellent jobs. We like staying in this hotel for convenience.

This was our first time staying here but certainly won't be our last. We agreed that from now on this will be our first choice when we visit the Bay Area. Well located, very clean and well designed room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff -- it just ticked all our boxes!

Overall the cleanliness was very good. However, the comforter / spread had not been changed and there was a blood stain on it. The staff was professional, friendly, and great.

Stayed at TownePlace for 9 nights due to my home being flooded, a kitchenette was a core requirement. After 5 hotesl before this one, i can confidently say TownePlace was the nicest in its class for the area. Clean in both my room and the common areas (saw staff cleaning all day everyday), modern and very comfortable decor, very efficient staff, free parking, free breakdast and walking distance from grocery stores, shopping and various restaurants. Convenient location and cose to walking paths and activities. Clientele there were mostly professionals, business travelers i felt safe as a solo traveler. I'd recommend to friends and coworkers looking for a hotel with kitchette. Lost one star for no dining in hotel, but really again so many options walkable it didnt matter.

Our room was on the 5th floor and the a/c unit was not adequate for the room. When we arrived the room was 76 degrees and with the a/c unit on full blast the room never got below 73 degrees. Luckily we stayed in February so it wasn’t too hot outside. Might consider staying again in winter but would never return in the hotter months. The TV remote was so delayed. It took forever to navigate the TV. It was a plus that we could log into our Netflix on the TV but it took forever with that terrible remote. The bathroom was very nice but the shower door would not stay closed. It’s not quite level and would slowly open. I had to make a little wedge out of paper to keep it closed. Lastly, there was a very loud group on the ground floor. They were in an outdoor patio area. I’m all for having a good time but it was too late. The front desk made no real attempt to quiet down the group despite requests. We were on the 5th floor and it was quite annoying. I can’t imagine guests on lower levels. They didn’t quiet down until 1:30am. Difficult to recommend the property unless you are a heavy sleeper, bring ear plugs, and like your room on the warm side. The location was convenient though.

Room waa clean and staff friendly. Bed waa uncomfortable and breakfast was mediocre. Be ok for a one night stay. Close to freeway and restaurants are driving distance away.

Bay Area traffic sucks and 101 is a complete mess right now with construction and the roadway conditions are the worst!

This hotel was super clean and exceeded our expectations. The condition of the room was the best I've seen in years and the location is extremely convenient. Will definitely be staying here in the future!

Easy parking. Across the street from a shopping center and restaurants. Kitchenette is nice. Friendly staff. Free breakfast.

all was perfect except the high fee for our super clean and trained Cavalier King Charles dog at 11 years old. $60 OUCH OUCH I guess they will spend it on Christmas gifts left the room as we started CLEAN !!!
