Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at this hotel, appreciating its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, some guests have issues with the valet service, noise levels, and certain amenities not being available or up to par.
- Great location in downtown Fort Worth, walkable to many attractions
- Friendly and helpful staff, particularly the front desk and valet
- Valet service can be slow and unattentive
- Noise levels can be high, both from inside and outside the hotel

The room and facilities were furnished well The air con is motion sensing so it turns off in the night not ideal for Texas heat, they also tried to charge me twice for the destination fee, I paid it on my booking and they tried charging me afterwards too,

Wonderful hotel with excellent amenities. Great location. We were moved rooms after looking forward to our original booking. We found out at check in. Lots of confusion as to how this would be refunded and this has yet to be resolved one month later.

Unfortunately, this stay was a completely different experience when it came to the room and the noise level. We stayed in room 439, and between roughly 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. there were multiple groups of guests running up and down the hallway, yelling and screaming. It wasn’t just a quick disturbance — it went on for hours and made it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the outside noise was extremely noticeable. Our room overlooked what seemed like a roundabout road, and there were cars and motorcycles revving engines and cruising by throughout the night. It felt like there was almost no sound insulation from the windows. I was honestly shocked because our previous stay here was so quiet and comfortable. The hotel itself still has so many great qualities, but the noise situation during this visit made for a terrible night’s sleep. I truly hope the hotel can find a way to better manage hallway disturbances late at night or improve sound insulation, because it really affected what would otherwise have been a great staY.

Ordered room service and they went out of the way to make sure we could have basic Mac n cheese, however was the spiciest ever, which was the side to share my salmon with my 1 year old. Salmon also came with salsa poured on top…which was not described that way on menu, and had bacon topping to the side which killed the whole salmon flavor making it hard to eat. Great location, overall pretty quiet and the bar has a nice atmosphere, however I was there with my kids for a getaway trip so did not spend time there.

Sink and shower not draining properly. The bathroom lighting is awful, and no makeup mirror provided. While obvious effort was put into the room design, they stopped short of providing adequate lighting in necessary areas. Clearly designed by a male who doesn’t know the struggle of putting on lashes in a poorly lit bathroom. WiFi fees are ridiculous, $15-$18 for a device, charged daily, despite being advertised as free for Marriott members. Valet was quick and efficient. But much higher priced than other hotel valet in the area $49 daily.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location! The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The beds are the best I’ve had at any hotel. The buffet breakfast is much nicer than most buffet breakfasts and the omelette station was a plus. The restaurant downstairs was really good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The surrounding area is very walkable and there’s a lot to do.

At check-in the front desk employee had no change (for tips) because she wasn’t allowed to have a bank. Later my husband asked for change at the bar and that person made a disgruntled remark about the front desk sending him there. We had no hot water next morning and the sink did not drain. Also they were using a leaf blower outside at 6:30 am that woke us up. People who showed good customer service were valet and maintenance engineers.

We came to Fort Worth to have our hometown preacher marry us since he moved to be closer to family. Our destination wedding is March 2026, but this was the special private ceremony between ourselves. Suddenly we found ourselves up against a very small child and a grand piano. It was not a lovely match at all. In tears from my frustration of listening to this for several hours, I stopped by the front desk on our way to our dinner reservation. We were offered an upgrade and a room switch. After dinner, we welcomed the room change. I was not looking forward to more of this dreadful concert of banging on the piano. After we settled into our room, we were sent a complimentary bottle of wine, which we declined, but made us smile. The gesture was very thoughtful, and the staff went well out of their way to make our stay great. We will definitely make an anniversary trip next year, but they really should find another home for the grand piano. The 11th floor of a hotel directly connected to other rooms is not appropriate. If an accomplished adult had been playing, it probably would’ve been the coolest thing on earth, but our concert was a small child banging random keys for hours off and on between games of hide and seek. Kudos to all the staff for their friendliness, professionalism, and welcoming attitudes. Thank you for making our stay special.

Our downtown go to place whenever we schedule our Fort Worth weekends.... Location is perfect. The folks there, all staff we encountered, and even those we passed by in the halls are trained in kindness and customer service that exudes the thought of "we're glad you are here". Two small annoyances on this trip were - 1. Remote was not very responsive. TV was difficult to operate....we finally gave up on the TV. A little aggravating as we stayed in the room for a couple nights and this amenity would have been kinda nice. The ability to simply turn on the tv and have the remote work would have been nice. 2. Ice machine on sixth floor was not producing ice - we expect amenities to work in a four star hotel, annoying when we expect the stuff to work in a four star hotel....especially annoying because we enjoy ice in our drinks. Worthington staff was readily available to bring ice buckets to the room, staff is always helpful.

Our stay at The Worthington was nothing short of perfection. My husband and I stayed here when we got married & decided to venture back 10 years later for a quick trip to Ft. Worth. It is exactly as we remembered with kind staff and an incredibly comfortable yet upscale vibe. We were able to explore the Sundance Square area (which is within walking distance) and made sure to grab a drink at the bar one of the nights. I would 100% stay there again and am so thankful that we revisited all of these years later. It is a top tier hotel.

Not sure why this property is so expensive for the room rate average accommodations. I had an Expedia reservation the front desk person stumbled while I stood there for 10 minutes. I ended up having a lunch asked if she’d come and find me she did not had to go back to the front desk. Rooms are average. Nothing special bright spot is Toro Toro. Great food doubt I’ll return.

Hotel was nice and convenient to where we attended the fund raiser. Check in was a little rocky. Room was not ready on time. Offer was made to place us in a larger room which was appreciated but the room turned out to be more of a business conference room with a Murphy bed and no balcony. Room did not have a good feel to it. Went down to reception and asked for the original room, after a wait the room was made available to us. Need to check the HVAC unit, room 301 was cold, and the temperature would not go above 68 degrees. We tried turning the thermostat up to 75 to get it warmer but nothing happened. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast in the restaurant was very good.

The property its self was good but they couldn’t find my reservation and after 30 min and a couple of people trying to find it and pawning me off to someone else they found it. Then I was going to breakfast which o payed for when I booked the front desk was like that wasn’t on my reservation and I had to show them again that it was payed for and after another 10min they was able to take care of it. So overall it was ok they just are unorganized and seemed lost.

The staff was very rude to my family, especially valet and the front desk. I was shocked because the hotel was pretty nice. The valet took forever to get the car. There were two elevators out of four that were broken. It was extremely busy when we stayed and the elevators were a nightmare to catch. The lobby area is pretty but the rooms are pretty basic for the price you pay.

Very clean establishment and comfortable bed. Convenient location and friendly staff. Very reasonable price for a nice stay.

It was very nice.

it was the hotel management. My wife got sick and they would not waiver the cancelation fee. I will never stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone

Room great, breakfast good and room service ok but did not get order correct and person read it back right just person in kitchen did not pay attention. Overall elect care. Wish the valet parking was included because it was a little expensive for valet and self park for price of room too. But had a great time. Oh the hot tub did not work and pool was cold so would be nice if that was advertised too .

It was great . Only problem , which I forgot to report to the front desk was the refrigerator was not cooling . Other than that everything & all staff was wonderful.

1. Upon arrival they had trouble finding my reservation thru Expedia. 2. The staircase and a few other areas smelled of sewer and plumbing issues. 3. The room appeared very clean BUT there was someone's belt left hanging in our bathroom. 4. They advertise to have an indoor heated pool and hot tub when the pool is freezing cold and the hot tub is under construction

Great hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Front desk staff member, Heidi, was exceptionally good. Close to our activities. Roomy rooms.

Great place to hang, but convenient to quickly go anywhere around Ft Worth you wanted to go. Very luxurious but also very cozy and down to earth.

Excellent stay!

Great comfortable hotel with lots of amenities. Staff was very nice - close to all the action in Downtown Fort Worth. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice hotel with all the perks.

Charging $50 for overnight parking is really excessive especially for someone who is there for vacation and not business.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, conveniently located right in downtown
- 5/5
Beds were so comfortable and great black out curtains! A close uber ride to the stockyards for a night of fun!

Looking forward to staying with you again.

Great hotel. Only real complaint is I searched for hotels with complimentary breakfast but we learned that was not included when we checked in.

Excelent experience !

Beautiful views rooms and easy walking distance to downtown

Wait on the elevators was annoying
- 4/5
The halls were very noisy during the night, a lot of door slamming, some construction going on in the front.

I did appreciate water in the room. Toilet paper was too cheap. Nice hotel with cool lobby and bar area.

Everything were great

We always enjoy our stay here. All around great place!

Quick easy check in. Charged me for WiFi even though I logged into my Marriott rewards account. The fact that a hotel does this is ridiculous. Tried to email and got kicked back to me. So frustrating

Very nice. Very quiet other than the Lobby music that was a little annoying and to loud. Bronze Bull sculls hanging from the lobby ceiling were impressive, but the music doesnt match the style of the western themed hotel. Rooms were nice. Accessible to everything downtown and Stockyards via orange bus line. Good restaurants across the street, the Yolk for breakfast and Riskys BBQ, plus hotel restaurant. We didn't try Toro Toro, so I can't review. Overall, very nice stay just to short, one night.

Great place for the Sundance experience

I will say the work being done in the front entrance to the escalators was a bit inconvenient to check in. In that you had to walk through the bar area. But, no big deal. It is a happening place. Highly recomend.

I was surprised how hard it was to find elevators on the lobby floor & bathrooms throughout the different levels while I was there for a conference.

All was good as expected

Good time.

We were on an overnight getaway to celebrate a new job. It was a time to relax. Unfortunately, the shower leaked everywhere all over the bathroom floor which was a big hassle to clean up, the coffee maker in our room was broken-inconvenient and the room was just sub-par for the money we paid- if you offer room service at least have a table and more than one chair to eat at. We really aren't picky people but didn't feel the room was up to what we paid. The staff and service were great.

What i did not like about this property is the staff. They are not welcoming, they did not bother to ask if it was our first time there and or welcome/ thank you for staying with us. We did the “self park” parking garage the first night and they did not even bother to tell us where it was located, we had to ask valet. Also, the parking garage elevators- it is a FAR WALK to the main elevators to get to the lobby. Our room on the 10th floor did not have main over head lighting, just lamps for light everywhere, the trash cans did not have bags in them which was weird. The restroom did not have a vent, which was also weird. We went to get ice down the hall and there was a huge ROACH on the floor. The elevator is confusing because it doesn’t have a map of what each floor is for, etc. The cinema is ridiculously over priced! $100 for a couples seat, heater and hot beverage?? Insane. The room and overall stay was not worth the price. You may want to look elsewhere!!
