Motel 6 Fort Worth, TX – I-35 & I-20

We were in town for a conference and the hotel was horrendous! The carpet was literally wrinkled, waiting for someone to trip...not to mention several large dark stains. The guest counter was encased in bullet proof glass. The elevators smelled fowl and looked like it missed several inspections. The refrigerator in the room was dirty and shelves were uneven. The bath tub had a roach on it, not to mention black mold in the corners of the shower wall. Speaking of bathroom...the faucet on the sink literally lifted up from the counter. The bottom of the tub was so filthy as if it needed replacement from all the grime and soap scum, we had to literally wear our crocs in the shower. Pitiful! The bed sheets had pink stains on one of the beds, that resembled hot pink fingernail polish. Overall, this was just a hot nasty, atrocious mess! Lesson learned. Upset we wasted our money. Next time we will pay for a stay at the Double Tree nearby.

Online pictures were nothing like the hotel. Room was absolutely filthy. Horrible smell throughout the hotel and room. Room was not cleaned from previous guests, poop on the toilet seat, dirty linens etc. Didn’t stay here, booked a different hotel.

Never stayed here and was declined a refund after purchasing insurance to cover cancellations. Filing a claim

We immediately requested a refund after stepping into our room. Not only was the room just lazily cleaned up, but we found a COCKROACH in our sheets. Do not even bother here.

Although I booked a non-smoking room it reeked of smoke all night. Possibly coming from an adjacent smoking room. The shower did not look clean, keeping me from wanting to shower there. No lid on the toilet seat. Outside was littered with cans, trash, and a set of nailclippers buried partially in the mud giving the impression that the hotel was not hygienic.

Nothing Everything! Upon arrival, I should have listened to my first mind and just left, however against better judgment, I attempted to check in and stay. The first red flag were the 2 fully armed police officers in the front lobby. After I decided to proceed with check in, I was told to go to the elevator to get to my room. Prior to doing so, a random man came inside the motel and started screaming " I need a room! Just 1 room! Just one night!" The front desk clerk was so frazzled that he just stared at the man. This man had to be doing "something" inappropriate because his whole demeanor was questionable. As I was walking in the hallway to get to the elevator, I couldn't help but notice the huge stains on the carpet. The facility didn't even attempt to clean them. You can tell that these stains had been there for years. Once I got to the elevator, as I attempted to get in, there was another random man coming out . He was beyond drunk and was reeked of alcohol. He was trying to get out of the elevator however he kept running into the doors and walls and almost falling multiple times due to his drunkenness. He was finally able to gather himself enough to make it out and stumble down the stained hallway floors. I headed up to my room on the elevator that was radiating cigarette smoke and beer. As I walked down the hallway on the 3rd floor, once again, the huge random stains on the floor were prominent. I finally made it to "my room". As I unlocked the door, I was once again, immediately consumed with cigarette smoke smell and stale air. Ultimately I was also greeted with roaches crawling on the wall in the entryway. By this time, I had enough and returned downstairs. I informed the clerk that I wasn't staying here for multiple reasons and requested a refund.

It was during heavy rain and I didn’t appreciate the front desk asking me if it was my fault by accidentally leaving the window open. No, it was a fault seal on the windows and they only offered to clean it up until I requested a credit or a new room. The staff is not very friendly. Also, be sure to bring your own bathroom necessities (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). They do not provide this in the room, only a few small bars of hand soap. I got what I paid for… a cheap experience and will not use motel 6 ever again.

Heater never got the room above 66 degrees no matter what temperature I set it to. Barely had hot water to shower with in the morning. I won't be staying at this motel again.

there where roaches, body paint and glitter on the walls and floor. there where frantic writings on the wall in permanent marker. we where in and out of the room in under 5 minutes and where not given a full refund. do not stay here unless you are ok with these things

The hotel had an old musty smell. Our room was supposed to be non smoking but smelled like smoke. Our floors were gritty like they had not been cleaned. The front desk was walled off with plexa glass. Never seen that before. No shampoo. Just tiny slivers of soap. No hair drier. TV remote was missing the battery cover. Just an old rundown place. Only thing good was the price and convenient location.

The lighting in the room and bathroom was very poor. The only lights in the room were the two bedside lights and a small desk lamp. The light switches for the bedroom and bathroom did not work. The only light in the bathroom was the one surrounding the mirror. The tub had a previously used bar of soap and there was hair in the tub from a previous guest.

I booked this hotel because the photos made it look decent but it was honestly so dirty and uncomfortable to stay at. It was a last minute booking but the rug on the floor has so many stains, the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes, the elevator had a smell of wet dog and there was also dog hair, the “night stand” had weird gunky stains and overall it was a 3/10 experience. IT was fine for one night. Teh bed is fine, TV OK and the bathroom is clean but with no amenities besides soap and towels. The carpets in the entrance and hallways are very dirty which leads to an unpleasant smell. You clean those carpets thoroughly and your ratings will improve dramatically.

The tub/ shower combination was in poor condition. The spout that you use to pull the shower to make it work you could just screw it off and the water never got hot enough. If i could iwould have canceled the order. What can I do to resolve the issue and get it credited back to my card. I was there for about 2 hours.

This place is still in the remodel phase. Needs new carpet or at least have it clean. The doors do not have door sign not to come in. Over all once its finished it will be a good place to stay.

The man checking me in never said a word to me. He was on the phone arguing with someone. Went and parked the car and when i came back in a man and woman were at the fro t yelling at the 2 men behind the glass and they were yelling back. From the elevator to the room it was so dirty. There was trash on the floor, broken tile in the bathroom, the mini fridge dis not work and kept making a noise and only 1 light in the room worked and 1 in the bathroom. Someone had put led lights behind the headboard that didnt work but were hanging out and the bed was hard as a rock. Tried a different room but it wasnt any better.

The elevator didn’t work, stairwell was dirty the door handle was broken as well and it smelled. The room door was hard to shut their was mold around the bathtub, tub was not clean, room had a bad odor, microwave had no glass plate to sit food on that needed to be warmed, no screen on the window. They only sever coffee for breakfast

This is location is 100% better than most Motel 6s Ive stayed in. I quit staying in them because they were all so run down and dirty. This location is not like that. It much nicer and much much cleaner.

Horrible first I had to go ask for clean sheets because there were hairs all over the sheets. Thankfully I had a blanket and two pillows in my car. I ordered dinner for my kids and we see roaches all in restroom. Then my husband finds pubic hair all in the shower, toilet, bathroom floor. The room had a strong smell of mildew and wet clothes that were not dried enough. Then I put a bowl for my dogs food and my dogs won’t touch their food because in the five minutes there are roaches in their food. Then in the middle of the night I get up to use the bathroom and realize there is water everywhere and my whole backpack is soacked with water so I have no clean clothes left because there is a leak coming from the fridge. Then I try and sleep and keep waking up because the AC will not cool the room so I am sweating. It is now 4 am and I decide to just check out because i am beyond miserable and disgusted. I go and talk to the Indian man who is working the lo by at 5 am and he is rude and does not even apologize he is almost upset that I complained. I need ny money back from this dump. If you have kids please don’t stay here. This motel should not even have a 1/2 star. It is like a motel for drug addicts and prostitution. Please do not stay here it not clean pube hairs everywhere and spider webs in the bottom of the bed.

The room was too big for just a bed and desk. No coffee maker in rooms. The hotel description said coffee makers in room. Too many people loitering outside the hotel.

The room was too big for just a bed and desk. No coffee maker in rooms. The hotel description said coffee makers in room. Too many people loitering outside the hotel.

Pretty good but a couple of outlets in the walls didn't work And the housekeeper instead of just knocking a letting me open the door she tried to open my door while I was asleep to ask me if I needed housekeeping and I was an even checkout time yet so I just don't like that but other than that it's a nice decent spacious room

The room was not the best, had a not so good smell, no stoper to take kids a bath, remote didnt work, the inside of hotel was dirty, no breakfast. Wouldnt stay here again.

The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom mirror is fantastic for doing makeup (my girls had a dance competition). Their is no pool or gym or breakfast. The coffee is bad with powdered creamer and Splenda offered only. If you order Uber eats make sure you tell them Motel 6 because there is a Super8 at the same address and it's in front. The parking lot is well lit but there was a lot of people loitering. I would stay again for the price and nice rooms but this is a no frills hotel.

Everything on web site not true except price. Room clean and nice. Mildew smell throughout the hotel. Awful smell! Cheap pump coffee at desk for breakfast. Nothing else. Ice machine broken with trash in bottom of machine. Pool under maintenance.

And then in the hallway smelled really bad like pot,cigarettes and musty. The rug was filthy, hadn't seen a vacuum in a long time. Then we get to our room, First thing we noticed was the smell really stale air? So we turned the air on and that helped a little bit, but the floor was filthy. They have laminate coarse and it just covered and dirt and dust. And I mean, it was horrible and it looked like someone had been living there because there was push pins in the ceiling and in the walls. There is black mark solid in the walls. You can tell that things have been ripped out of the wall and that replaced. There were burns in the comforter On the bright side, the bed was comfortable, but that was a bad. We would have left but none of the hotels in the area looked too be in the condition. And the website won't allow me to upload photos.The show how filthy this place was

My biggest issue was that the property hallways smells like animal piss. That was a big deal for me. Room wasn't too bad considering...

The room was listed as non-smoking, but someone had definitely smoked in the room. There was a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector to prevent from being set off. The lobby had a smoky smell & was dirty. The area didn't feel very safe, I would definitely stay somewhere else if i needed to stay in the area again.

Refused service

Smells like stale smoke in all the rooms. Walls are extremely thin so you hear everything other rooms are doing. Most amenities like fitness room seem to have been closed for a while.

People let their dogs bark for hours. Smells like straight pee and cigarettes…. Found a dirty used towel towel in my room when I checked in.

Exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location.

Lotta shady people hanging in and around the property. Although I chose a non-smoking room, I smelt tobacco and mariijuana smoke ALL throughout my stay both in the hallways and in my room, which was really uncomfortable Bathroom and floors were clean. Apart from the occasional shouts it was okay.

There was a party going on all night. There is a cap on the bathroom floor that looks like it was from gatorade or something plus dirt in the corners. The walls and doors are damaged and a couple somewhere very near our room is having a knock down drag out fight. That's what $80 got us . . . It was a terrible night. I could smell cigarettes. The smoke alaem in our room was covered with a plastic bag, pretty sure thats not code. In the morning we killed a cockroach crawling across the floor. 100% i do not recommend to anyone to stay here. The place needs to be shut down.

Um. The photos online look nice. From the outside it looks really nice for a motel 6. Once you get inside you’re doomed. The room had black slime all over the walls of the tub and floors. Smells like cigarette smoke inside bad. Towels had grass and sticks in them. The fridge and microwave isn’t even on a table just on the ground. Nasty. Do not recommend.

It was a nice stay for the price point .

This hotel should be shut down for health code and fire violations. The smoke detectors are covered with plastic and the end doors are locked and cannot be accessed from the inside out. I have seen other reviews where management has responded and yet nothing has ever been done.

The building is newer but the facility isn’t taken care of. The carpet has stains and sticky. The shower was dirty and there are visible roaches and other insects in the room.

The staff was extremely rude. The room smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag making it inoperable. When I asked to have it fixed they told me to do it myself. The whole place smelled of marijuana. The microwave did not work. We asked to have it replaced three times and were told we could bring our food to the desk so they could heat it in the office. They did not clean daily and refused to bring towels. Required me to go to desk to get my own towels. Worst hotel in South Fort Worth.

We booked a non-refundable room. I’ve talk to 5 different ppl trying to get a refund. Sorry. Stinks. Poor service.

The hotel needed so much maintenance it is hard to list all. Elevator repeatedly stopped working. Lamp shades fell off lamps when used. Marks on walls, clear mold on air vents in bathroom. Desk chair was so worn, Goodwill would have thrown it out.

The things need to work if I'm paying for them. But can't use them,I believe I should be compt something.

In a bad part of town. The offer said and displayed breakfast on there sight as part of the filter, but wasnt offered so false advertising.

I did not like that fact that they require a 100 cash deposit when people do not carry cash now a days.The room was not clean, ac did not work, fridge was broken, there was roaches i killed 2 of them, bath tub was filthy towels were old and smelled bad.

Very rude never let me check in said I was considered no show when I had reserved the room and paid for it I should be able to check in when ever admirer 3 ok until 11 am

Night time clerk is extremely rude. Has a bad attitude and wasn’t courteous whatsoever which makes me wonder why someone as such would work in hospitality management. I enjoyed my room, but this lady needs some re-training in hospitality.
