Riverview Inn

Came here the past weekend and the past few times I’ve gotten a room here I’ve booked an king bed and always got stuck with a double bed when it’s just me

It was very nice staying here I always stay here because it’s peaceful and the room itself is very nice and comfortable and clean. No issues at all.

$20 early check-in after being told had to wait from 3am-6am. Room smelled of mildew and moldy. Old man at the front was an autopilot type person who co I lent talk off script. A cop told me, while sitting in my car waiting to check in, its the most dangerous strip for high violent crime in the area. Not worth it at all.

The room was dirty had spider webs on the light had stains all over the walls there were German cockroaches coming from under the furniture all was noticed after being there for 30 min brought evidence of it to the front

Simple, updated, clean & inexpensive accommodations. Very close to downtown, just on the other side of the bridge.

Our king room was not ready so we were given a room with 2 queen beds. There were several roaches in the bathroom.

The parking was only in the front of the place, the outside of the building is in very poor condition, we checked in because we were shown great photos of the inside but once inside it was not clean, the floors were dirty, sheets had holes and blood stains, then we had a man knocking asking for his belongings out of our room. The people next to us were outside smoking different things that continued to come into our ac and room. People live there all the time and are on drugs. No pool no snack machines. It was the worst I’ve ever experienced! Never will return or recommend this place and the lady in the office when checking in was very nice but the next day the lady was very rude! Because our key would never continue to work and she said that wasn’t her problem. Very very very poor staff and conditions!!

Someone received a key to our room and tried coming in, luckily we had the chain across the door. I the morning our keys no longer worked for our door.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom. But being too tired from school and having school the next day, I was not going to leave there. Even with the chain on the door being slightly bent and the door in the bathroom, looking like someone was really trying to get in there. I still stayed. I did block the door when I went to bed. Not sure what that was about…

For what I paid, it was well worth it.

Wrong information about the place, no pool, no tissues in the room, no coffee pot and no heat until they brought us a space heater. No river views!

Room was adequate and clean. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding and extra pillows. Everything was good.

Nothing would not recommend at all. The staff came to my door and caused an issue. Did not provide reason for intrusive behavior.

Ok motel, ok location Buyers BEWARE ! It's not a Dirty Motel & stay was unremarkable. But, This place is running a $cam of taking $50 Security Hold into Full transaction. After 9 days , No refund & excuse by Hanging up the Phone / poor Communication. Owner? Excuse of Manager not on Duty or We forget to refund! Lying that credit card numbers were missing (after I started Fraud investigation with Amex(PLT) & received the instant respon$e! In the name of Security Hold as most Hotels does & Release the fund. These people playing the system of keeping the money & may be gaining interest. Sounds like a Organized Fraud. I may bring attn of law enforcement /FTC into this matter. I am going to Post this Review on different Platforms. In the meantime . Consumers be WARNED!

The room was very clean. Everything was remodeled it was really nice and the staff was excellent. The room was excellent. I would write from them again.

Room was clean, staff was welcoming, and the shower was hot and pressure was good. The TV was terrible but can’t complain about that because I mainly use my phone for entertainment. For something cheap and affordable I would Definitley stay here again. Areas right next to a lot of good food places which is an awesome bonus.

Solo woman just needed a place to sleep the night before my condo opened up. Pros: The price was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. I actually got a room with a view of the Caloosahatche River. Con’s: There are permanent residents hanging outside (11p), and that made me nervous because sometimes it can be loud. It was not. But the a/c unit in my otherwise quiet room was loud and kept me awake.

Housekeeping did a poor job at cleaning, no sweeping, had to go to office several times for clean towels. Trash dragged around outside near stairs, which was attracting wild animals.men congregating on the stairs making it difficult to get by. No amenities.

Very dirty I bought the breakfast deal and they said I would not get breakfast so I paid extra for nothing and it’s full of roaches and insects and the door doesn’t even look like it locks.

The hotel is older so they’ve tried to update it. But let’s say they definitely went with the lowest bidder. The TV’s are generic so there is no guide, and no WiFi for streaming. On arrival we found they gave the room away that we were promised and tried to charge us $25 more than was quoted on Hotels.com. Live and learn

The property was definitely rundown & though facing the river most views were blocked by shrubbery. The sink didn't drain and had no stopper and there was no closet or stand to put a suitcase. Staff were pleasant enough but English was their second language so communication was difficult.

Went with a buddy of mine for a quick two day stay in Florida and didn't want to break the bank for a place to stay. The staff was nice and the place was clean and sanitized. The room had 2nd hand furniture in it...but it was clean and neat. What you got for the price was perfect! I would use the Riverview Inn again next time I visit Florida again.

That one was not bad, But the one of the pillows smelled bad. Also, we thought there was a pool as shown on the site. But there is no longer a pool because of the hurricanes. They shoud mention this and take down the pictures of th the pool.

After waking around in bare feet the bottom of my feet were black. We thought we saw bed bugs so took a town to wipe up and it looked like blood stains. There were people smoking drugs (not pot) outside their room and it was very uncomfortable. So uncomfortable, I ended my 3 night stay after 1 night, cut my losses and booked a different hotel. I would not recommend.

We flew in to Ft. Myers later in the evening and just pretty much slept there. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We arrived in a cold room, we were unable to change the air conditioning to stop or to change it to heat. We turned on the hair dryer to blow warm air into the room. All together, old furniture and bathroom needs updating. It was fairly clean, but I would not stay there again.

Periodically we stay at different hotels for a change of scenery if nothing else. This is one we’ll be using often. The updates they’ve done work well. Good beds. Tile floors. Close parking. Convenient to N Fort myers as a location. Clean and nice management.

The room was beautifully renovated and refurbished. It looked brand new. Clean, & no bugs. Unusual for S. Florida. We werr very comfortable and it was a fair price. Thank you.

Beware of the raccoons lol it’s clean besides the tv remote hiding and door having writing all over the doors.

The Riverview has an off-the-beaten-path look to it; pretty plain and out-of-the way appearance. But for the money, a pleasant enough experience. The room was clean, comfortable; everything in working order. No bugs. Clean shower. Office staff, though difficult to reach, was very helpful. My business was finished early and I tried to cancel 2nd night through Expedia. No help there whatsoever, after being bounced around to at least 3 reps. The hotel onsite staff took care of it without batting an eye. Don't be reluctant to stay here. Quiet; convenient; no indication of unsavories in the area..
