It's an older building, but the room was fine. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and Wi-Fi is all I need in a room. I would stay there again.

The room looked as if it had been recently updated. The mattress was very comfortable, the AC was cold, and the water pressure in the shower was awesome. Amanda, at the front desk, was very accommodating and friendly. No complaints

The owners and staff have clearly put a lot of effort into this property. Electrical outlets, the toilet, tub, shower, lighting, AC, heating lamp in the bathroom, water pressure and temperature were all very good and appeared to be new or recent. It was also quiet and we had a good stay for the five nights we were there. For the price this is an excellent value in a very convenient location on Rt. 41 near major arteries, shopping, etc. It was our first stay there and it worked out very well.

The staff was always friendly. The female with dark hair always smiling and Funny. The guy with the ponytail went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe. Nothing everything was great.

I like that you were able to check in and then check out the app. That was nice. However, I still went to the front desk to make sure that I checked out stuff was very nice and pleasant. There wasn’t anything that I didn’t precisely like it was more that I felt like I got congested the first night sleeping so maybe the AC units just need to be more maintenance but other than that the property was fine. Everything was fine.

I like that you were able to check in and then check out the app. That was nice. However, I still went to the front desk to make sure that I checked out stuff was very nice and pleasant. We travel to this area once a month and have stayed at various hotels in Ft. Myers. Howard Johnson's has become our place to stay. Amanda at the front desk friendly and gets us checked in quickly. The room is clean and we're able to park in front of our door.

The hotel was busy, but parking was close to our corner room. The room was clean and had a very comfortable firm mattress. We got a great night's sleep before getting up early to begin working. Staff at check in and check out was awesome. We'll be staying there again the next time we're in town.

Safe, friendly, clean, comfortable. Good parking. Some food options within walking distance including a trader Joes. Happy with our stay, would stay again. "Breakfast" was coffee, tea & juice only ... So we didn't bother! Only issue was the AC was quite loud but it worked well

This property is nothing like the photos. There is no lobby. You have to push a button to summon the employee to check you in outside. The hotel is totally sketchy. The walls are painted concrete. Locks barely work. Said there is a continental breakfast. There is coffee and watered down OJ. Do not stay there!

It was dirty and a lot of noise. They give the bare minimum if that in the rooms. The ac didn't even work.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. Amanda at the front desk was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. When we got up Saturday morning to get ready for work, we discovered that we had no water to flush the toilet and only a dribble of water coming from the shower...not enough pressure to take a shower. Unfortunately, we weren't able to shower, making for a very long day.

Very dirty actually saw bugs crawling around the food completely helpless management. Nasty would never say that again Howard Johnson’s should be ashamed of themselves

The rooms were updated, mattresses, new, and comfortable as were the pillows. Super clean. The downside? Typical motel design where the doors open up into the parking lot. I could hear the people fighting upstairs. And some Jerk had his hot rod with loud exhaust revving the engine at 3 in the morning yesterday. Couldn’t wait to check out.

They placed all guests for that night right next to each other and on the same side of the hotel, which is the opposite side of the pool. The total headcount was less that a quarter of the hotel’s maximum capacity. I only bring this up as I was there to relax and was instead surrounded by families with children and pets who were there to run around and loudly converse outside of their rooms. Then, when trying to sleep in, I was suddenly awoken by the loud voices and laughter, conversing with each other from opposite ends of the walkway, and these loud conversations occurring in Spanish we by the hospitality staff. Worth the price, if you’re just needing a place to pull Over and hang with the family, not ideal for those looking to rest their head and catch a late morning sleeping in. I left the hotel the night before and was very scared. There are people in the hallways and outside the rooms until late at night. Otherwise everything is fine... perfect hygiene and perfect workers.

It’s always my first choice because all the staff treats u with respect , even though they barely understand they figure it out I. The end and all is good . I enjoy my stay there and it’s like my safe place because I was homeless but every month when I got my ss chexk I’d spend it all o. Staying there just to be off the streets. I want to thank Expedia and Wyndham for being able to be at ease but broke for those days I really needed to just feel better when I was sick . Thank u !! This was an ok place for a night but at 120$ not worth it. Definitely needs a good updating and the beds not so comfortable.

The room had damage to the walls, air conditioning filter needed to be changed (notified front desk and it was never addresse), and smelled bad. Lots of people smoking weed and yelling at all hours of the night. Other vacationers weren't cleaning up after their dogs and there was literally a wall of poop along the fence. Housekeeping stole items. They still haven't refunded my deposit for the room. Hard to enjoy the pool with my son when there was a group of people smoking weed poolside and having conversations not suitable for young ears. I will not be staying here again and I do not recommend it to anyone traveling with kids. They also do not offer breakfast as advertised.

First and foremost, the windows look like jail cells which just gives an uneasy vibe. Some stragglers walking around. NO parking. The rooms are decently clean but the theme is tan and turqoise and it gives almost an aztec mudhut vibe. All around just gave me an uneasy feeling. The property itsself is meh, but the surrounding area has some nice stuff going on. I see why its cheap though

We awoke with bed bug bites and will never return to this hotel.

Area was convenient

People before the weekend that were staying for their work. That are permanent renters were loud and drinking alot during late time deom 11pm to 2 am. Was not liking that and smokers near pool area. Eevery5hing else was great.

BED COVERS WERE TERRIBLE, HAD HOLES , BAD QUALITY ETC

The half-lighted Howard Johnson sign on the street was the first indication this property was getting old and tired. It was budget priced, but he dim light in the shower area, malfunctioning shower head and a large gap under the door that allows plenty of light and who knows what else into the room were a just a few of my disappointments.

The room was good but there was no parking in their parking lot just had to find a spot and walk to where your room is. Can’t really see the room numbers from the car when trying to find your room have to get out and get closer to the door to see the room number.

I stayed here a number of times and each time I had a great experience. I would recommend Howard Johnson Inn to my friends when they come to town

Front desk Gigi was awesome. Room clean and suitable. Facilities were good as well

We were slightly nervous about staying here because of some of the ratings. But, it was really nice and we were pleased! The beds were tiny, but they were comfortable. Everything was clean. The only complaint we have is that the shower had issues where it took just shy of 10 minutes to heat up and then it went from scalding hot to freezing cold and continued going back and forth the whole time one of us were in it. We would definitely stay here again and were very pleased with our stay.

This motel has been my go to place since I have been in Ft Myers. It close to what I have to do, has good places to eat. I just keep coming back

Rooms were extremely small. Front office smelled like cigarettes. Front desk person charged me a deposit BUT waved it for other people that were staying there (we are all part of the same sports team). Asked for extra pillows, blankets, and towels, never got them. Broken glass all over the parking lot. Rats in the parking lot at night. Booked online through hotels.com (obviously) at one rate, was charged a higher rate when I got there. Had another patron basically threaten the kids I had with me and when I went to say something to the front desk I was told “I would hate to have to kick you out”. Walked out of our room to the smell of weed. Front office lady had a bit of an issue with my small, super friendly shih tzu while people are LIVING there with much bigger aggressive dogs.

Hotel room was filthy and smelly. Check in person was rude, check in through a barred up window which shows safety concerns. We check out after the first night even though we paid for 2.

People were outside playing music all hours of the night and day. Room was newly psinted but nothing repaired. Its not worth it and seems unsafe

I have been staying here as my house is still under construction. I enjoy the service that I get here. The help is very nice and helpful. I would recommend Howard Johns Inn to everyone for a short or long stay

Friendly front desk staff. Quiet place.

If you want privacy then you dont want to book this hotel. My room is just … a door away (with no insulation) away from another room. I can hear every word people from other room said, can hear their activities like pouring water :) the most important issue is safety. Guys from other room can just open door (in between two rooms) to get in! I am not sure if it is possible but there is a door with knob! You are booking this hotel is like sharing rooms with other folks in your family :)

But over all it worked for our purpse of a late night flight arrival pit stop to get some sleep it worked.

There was no outlet in the "bathroom" nor did the one closest to the mirror work either. If i had not had a extension cord, it would of been very difficult to get ready for the day. The man working when we checked out, was very rude. Never even looked up at us when we brought the room key, and certainly didnt get a "have a nice day, thank you for staying with us". Our room key was shut off a half hour before our check out time, when loading the car, we had to go get a house keeper to let us back into our room. Our room did not look ANYWHERE close to the website picture...... The air conditioner was laying all over the floor when we came in our room and he put it back together. Everything was not horrible, just those things....
