Latitude 26 Waterfront Boutique Resort - Fort Myers Beach

Did not get to stay long enough to fully enjoy all this cute little hotel had to offer. Very much a hidden gem! Can definitely feel the pride that the owners have in this property.

Overall I’d stay there again for the convenience of the location and friendly staff.

The decor, comfort and amenities were excellent, especially for the price! I was catching the Key West Express the next day and this was the perfect location. I was traveling alone and felt very safe. Highly recommend!

I stayed with my kids and the place has a great location since the beach is 4 min away. The room was clean n the staff was very helpful and friendly.. I will definitely be coming back.

This is a wonderful little place to get away. They have bikes and kayaks that you can use, which is wonderful. They also have boat rentals and jet ski rentals that you can purchase. A wonderful little continental breakfast that they serve and it's just quaint. I really enjoyed my stay.

It was truly a beach resort, the rooms nicely decorated, the staff friendly and helpful, I travel a lot a definetly will recomend this property.

I am a low budget solo traveler who usually just needs a bed. I’ve seen the worst of the cheap hotels. Latitude 26 was on the low end, but the reviews were good. Absolutely surprised. At a VERY reasonable rate. This was very reasonable price. Absolute paradise. Booked the second night for the first time in 10 years or more. Will absolutely stay again.

We stayed in the largest suite they have. 1 king 2 queen beds. Full kitchen including cookware and dinnerware. It was a comfortable place for a longer stay with room to stretch out. The bathroom was rather small for such a large room. I would consider it the weak spot of the room. The vanity was too small for 6-7 people. We only had 4 and barely enough room for toothbrushes. The complimentary breakfast was all prepackaged stuff. I would stay here again but only in the bigger rooms if more than 2 people.

Absolutely adorable! We booked this for a quick overnight getaway to Sanibel Island. Now granted this is in Fort Myers, but it’s a quick trip from the motel to Sanibel. It is definitely an older motel that has been rehabbed, but they did a great job - it’s super cute and super clean! Fantastic continental breakfast with breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, tea. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, beds were comfortable, plenty hot water in the shower to wash all the sand off. Highly recommend staying there. We will absolutely be back and hope to get a marina facing room next time.

It's quite unique place, it's a boutique motel with a beautiful gardens and access to small marina. You can rent bikes and kayaks there or just enjoy the quiet time with canal views. We didn't have an opportunity to try breakfast as it starts later (at 8am) and we needed to leave early. Rooms and everything around looked clean and pleasant. Convenient stop to multiple locations in the area.

Loved the kayaks and bike, very nice view in the morning. We got there a few minutes after office hours but Richard answered right away and came to our rescue

The front desk staff were great, very helpful particularly Richard and Ami. The pool area and grounds were clean and beautiful. The bikes they offered were a plus during our stay, and the also offered kayaks.

This place was a hidden gem. The rooms were nice and spacious, very clean. The property around the rooms is very unique, paths to pretty sitting spots, I watched fish jump as I sat by the canal. The pool was also very clean and I enjoyed it for a few hours but could have stayed longer had I had the time. 10-10

Loved our stay. Helpful staff, clean and spacious room, great amenities. Only issue….breakfast not so great, and a large group overtook the facility we could not get near the pool or the barbecues. Good for them they had a great time, but folks like me couldn’t use the facilities because they had overrun the place.

Everybody was vey nice and very helpful and very nice location, convenient to lots stuff to do.

This hotel is always a winner. The only thing I have small problem with, is that they don't have dressers in the room. Other than that. This place is wonderful. Staff is very friend and personable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I will be back.

It was about 2 1/2 miles to Fort Myers Beach and the Marina at the end of the property was nice to sit at. Nice staff Air Conditioner was loud

Amazing find. Place was spotless and had everything we needed. Love relaxing in the hammock out by the dock and spotting dolphins and manatees there. Pool area really nice and plenty of choice of things to do around .

We had an amazing time here! Great location! Kayaked every morning and saw manatees! Outside Breakfast was wonderful , so many options , cereals, egg sandwiches, bagels, yogurt, bananas, apples, oatmeal, coffee, tea, juices, toast. Pool was great, staff was great, loved our stay !!

We lived everything about the property since the staff takes special car to keep it cleaned, landscaped, outdoor furniture, plenty of parking, well-lite and safe. The staff was attentive, very helpful and have great attention to detail. We will be back

You could really tell alot of care and planning in creating the boutique motel. It was clean the staff was amazing. We came in late off of the Key West Express, I did not receive the check in instructions from Booking.com. Joe stayed late to make sure we got checked in ok. We requested rooms close because we were traveling with friends. Our rooms were right next to each other. The breakfast was great for a continental style breakfast with a huge selection. Fruit, snack bars, yogurt, bagels, peanut butter and jelly, juices and coffee. We had to leave the first morning prior to the breakfast set up and they prepared a to-go bag for us to take with us in the morning. The decor is cutesy tropical beach. The outdoor seating, the kayaks and paddle boards were fabulous. We used the pool twice and were very happy. Very nice seating around the pool. Towels provided in the office. The accommodations were basic, everything was very clean. I thought it was a real deal fro the price and will go back. We stayed there two separate nights. Saw dolphins by the docks in the morning. I took photos and will try to load later. I could have used an extra mirror.

We were there for a long weekend. Out the door early and in late afternoon so we weren’t there a whole lot. Room was clean, had hot water. And a small kitchenette with fridge. Front staff was awesome! Helped us with restaurant selection and general travel info. We always left too early for the breakfast but did use the kayaks on our last afternoon and that was fun to explore on our own. Nice little pool to relax in at the end of the day as well. The only negative is that the kayaks were in rough shape. Two of the four had broken seats. Other then that this is nice little homey place to stay.

We love staying at the Latitude. It’s very well kept and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend and I took the kayaks out and saw dolphins in the canal. The rooms themselves are very spacious. I can’t wait to be back!

The motel is filled with Old Florida charm, which makes it a pleasure to experience. Our room was spacious, neat, and cool (to offset the muggy day!) The "borrow" options of beach towels and watersport gear was an added bonus!

Plenty of breakfast items to choose from. Staff members were friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean. The pool and pool setting was lovely as were the gardens outside our room.

It was a really cute and relaxing property, close to the beach. Te pool was nice and clean. I definitely would stay there again.

So charming! Convenient location with easy access to the water, the beaches, and restaurants without having to be crowded in the middle of everything. I wish I could have extended my stay. Room has a frig/freezer, shower over tub, Hulu on the TV. Great beachy vibe, clean, and quiet. I had to leave before breakfast was served, so I can't comment on that, other than to see an earlier start to breakfast would have been helpful for me.

The rooms with a garden view are really nice. They have made the outside of the property really beautiful, and you don't have any road noise. Nice spot on the canal. Plenty of seating areas and a nice pool with shade for families.

We love this place! The staff is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful as well as the garden and barbecue area. It’s right on the marina and they have paddle boards and kayaks you can use. There is a really nice neighborhood for an evening stroll. The beach is really close and Lover’s Key is only 10 miles to the south, which I highly recommend.

What an amazing boutique hotel! They have all the amenities you could want such as bicycles, kayaks, a heated swimming pool and a great breakfast! And all of it is included in your price…we will definitely come back here! Plus, the trolley stop is right outside their door so getting to Fort Myers Beach without having to drive is a wonderful opportunity. They also know of local shuttles, which will get you there for three dollars a person. A lot of good restaurants in the area as well! But having a fridge in the room plus a microwave, coffee maker and dinnerware, etc. made lunch easy. Glad we stayed here.😃

We chose this property for the distance from Key West Express dock. Easy to find late at night. Room was ok, nothing fancy. We were impressed with the outdoor setting, cozy, comfortable and inviting. Continental breakfast was great.

Overall satisfied with the property. Really nice pool and garden area. Pool was very clean and kept up. Room was smaller than pictures showed but the kitchenette was convenient. Bathroom is small. So small. And the room we were in did not have a plug in the bathroom ??? Also only other mirror in the room did not have a plug nearby. Very hard to get ready but we made it work. Our room was also clean along with the rest of the property. I did not see one bug 😊 staff were very friendly and pleasant. Amenities were nice! Breakfast is simple but free! Kids loved the pop tarts and coffee cakes! My one complaint is the amount of light from outside at night. Only thin curtains on windows and the lights outside blast through and around the outside. If you want a place to sleep where you won’t spend a whole lot of time in the room that is budget friendly, this is a good place! We spent most of our time out and about and only were there in the morning and at night. If you plan to visit fort myers beach and sanibel island in season, plan for a lot of traffic! Took us 45min-1hour to get to fort myers beach. It’s about 1.5 miles. Go early! Find parking and have a second breakfast before the beach early! I don’t suggest the trolly. Eat at Izzy’s downtown, so good!!

Latitude 26 was beyond my expectations! I booked last minute for a getaway with my 13-year-old. The property is SO cute, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the kayaks, hammocks, beach chairs, etc. just put it over the top. Not to mention we saw two dolphins, a cluster of baby ducks, and two geckos from the property. They made our trip so easy, which is what I was looking for! 100% recommend and would stay here again!

This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed and the cutest. Breakfast was continental style and if you couldn’t find something you like you have a problem. They had coffee, tea, yogurt, cereals, bananas, bagels, breakfast bars. Didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean with a very deep end. This place is situated on a canal with play toys. The only bad thing I have to say is that I couldn't stay long enough. The staff was over accommodating. This will be my go-to spot when I have to travel there for business.

Pool was wonderful, we spent a couple of days enjoying it! Resort was decorated so cute - lots of flowers and cute items on the walls! Potted plants on top of the a/c units on the outside - nice touch! We would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at Latitude 26 and would be happy to return! We loved being able to kayaking and lounge around at the pool. Joe in the office was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had.

The staff was very attentive! On 2 occasions I had to call the front desk prior to arrival. Both calls went to voicemail and both times THEY called back within minutes!

I stayed there during the cold snap and the door had visible daylight shining through which meant that the wind came howling in and my room was cold. I had the small room AC/heat blowing most of the time but it was still cold. I could hear the major road next to the motel loud and clear. Breakfast is served outside which meant that you had to take the food back to your room to eat since it was so cold. Decent selection of food, but the coffee was terrible. The location seemed good if you were going to the beach, both Sanibel and Ft Myers Beach. Otherwise you were kinda in the middle of nowhere except a marina. Maybe it was just because it was so cold, but I can't recommend.

Overall stay was pleasant. Property is slightly out of date, there were bugs by the water at dusk, which couldn’t really be changed but was a bit annoying. Breakfast was subpar, mostly just stuff you could pick up yourself at Walmart nearby.

Loved the amenities available to keep my family busy, and the location is about as good as it gets without having to pay the higher prices to stay right on the beach. We also appreciated the breakfast, comfortable furniture, pool temp, and size of the room. The fixtures in the room need to be mounted better (the towel hooks kept falling down, and the kitchen shelf fell in the middle of the night), but that would not keep me from coming again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

I loved the location, the ambiance, friendliness, cleanliness of this hotel… I would say that the only thing that was of any difficulty was getting in our room every time… we had to put in the code several times just to get in the room… but what a beautiful resort you have there… we will definitely go again, and have already told many others about you facility!

We arrived into town earlier than expected and they had our room ready for us! The room is spacious and clean. All the staff have been super nice. The resort is in a great location and priced fairly. We will be returning!

Room was ok - pretty basic. What put me off was the current price for the motel was under $90. I paid significantly more so was penalized for advanced booking. There were few customers at the motel so would have liked to speak to someone or at least acknowledge the price discrepancy.

Staff were nice. The docks right outside the hotel were entertaining with lots of fish to sightsee. We heard dolphins and manatees visited at one point during our stay but we missed them. Overall, good and we would definitely return.

Very nice staff at the front desk, the room is very clean....BUT ! AC is quite loud. Everything else is good, reasonable price.

Room is clean. However the mattress was outdated, hard, and uncomfortable. Breakfast had very limited options. I would expect better service if I am paying 140 dollars a night.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating, the hotel was lovely, great location, free hire of bikes and kayaks. Our room was amazing... wish we stayed for more than 3 nights!

was a nice off island spot--simple drive in to beach or cheaper uber ride. quiet spot--nice courtyard--simple continental breakfast--which is courtyard--has it all and close to evrything--nice roomy rooms. easy check in--good on site parking--free.

Staff was very nice, I was able to ship a package to the hotel for my moms birthday and when we arrived the remembered it was my moms birthday that I had quickly mentioned when I asked if I could have the package delivered. Amenities were very nice as well. Loved the kayaks. Great stay overall

Liz and her staff are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend giving this place a try! I have lost confidence in customer service lately and the staff at Latitude 26 restored my confidence in outstanding customer service. Very pleasant stay and I look forward to returning soon. Joe, the front desk employee actually walked to a nearby bus stop to answer a question I had earlier in the day.

I had an amazing stay here, staff was super friendly and nice and good at getting anything we needed it was super nice having a pool and being able to rent the bikes and kayaks ! It was a super nice stay and would come stay here again.

If I’d just passed by this place, I wouldn’t have even thought to stop and inquire, as the curb appeal isn’t the most appealing…clean, but an older property with a few boat slips at the end of a canal. But once inside and after exploring the rest of the property, I could tell a great effort has been put into making this a superb lodging option for this area. The courtyard is perfect for relaxing or socializing in what feels like a lush tropical jungle, with sitting areas, a bar area where breakfast is served and which guests can utilize.( not an operating bar, just a unique but fitting structure). There is also a small, but very well appointed and inviting pool area.There is a small marina at the back of the property, and they have bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing gear for guests of the resort to use in a FCFS basis. Very convenient location but also quiet. Very convenient contact-less check-in. The front desk was very friendly and informative as well. Ample parking with easy access. This will definitely be my go-to property for when I am in this area.

Cute little property that has Key West vibes. Great price and location. My wife loved the garden area and the boutique styles throughout. If you’re looking for high end it might not be for you, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be back!

We had an incredible weekend at the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the service cleaning was exceptional.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the AC unit was extremely loud and we struggled to stay asleep because of it. Other than that everything was great.

The property was clean and quiet. Nothing fancy but very cozy. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options which saved us bringing food or going out. Only drawback was a drunken guest beating on our door at 1am one night. He apologized when he realized his mistake.

Amazing little spot! Would have given a. Full five stars across the board but did see one big roach in the night in room and killed so maybe the pest control could be a little better. But all else was amazingly good for the price and will go again.

Rooms not well furnished. Fan ticked all night. The air conditioner was loud and annoying. The light under the counter too bright and there was minimal lighting. The bathroom had no counter space. All in all would not stay again.

Old fashion motel charm large room with kitchenette with super friendly staff great price. Large clean room and relaxing entire area in front of room is a mini tropical paradise. Highly recommend.

i loved the waterway. we were able to kayak. we sat outside. the pool was clean and warm. the staff were friendly and helpful. we would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the "condo like" room by the pool. It had a full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The furniture was very comfortable, and the room was clean. It was a little warm when we arrived, but cooled off quickly. There is an ac unit in the bedroom as well as the living area. There was a dehumidifier provided that kept the room extra comfortable. We opted to not have room service during our four day stay, so we had the empty the dehumidifier ourselves. There was never too much noise in the pool. Keep in mind that this is an older building, but has been remodeled. However it was clean, comfortable and has alot of cute character. We would definitely stay again. All of the potted plants, flowers, and geckos in the court yard were beautiful and truly added to the enjoyment of this location.

The staff was always nice and helpful. W forgot our IPad and they mailed it home for us!

We had such a great time at Latitude 26. The accommodations were super nice, cozy, and clean. The back patio area was perfect for restful mornings, and it was very close to the beach! The staff were extremely attentive and kind.

Our stay at Latitude 26 was fantastic. Would recommend this place to anyone. We stay in room 304 as we traveled with 2 other couples and had plenty of room. Clean rooms right off the pool with a sliding door leading to the pool. Amazing place to stay.

I was traveling with my daughter and grandson. We enjoyed the amenities: pool, bike riding, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The garden was quiet and peaceful. I recommend staying there.

Free kayaks was a perk for sure. This place is old charm and garden is very nice. Breakfast is in the garden. Continental. Get the marina view. You can also visit and use grounds at the sister hotel down the street. I will be back.

We are older and fluffier and the bed was not to our liking. It was a very soft memory foam. Plus the rooms need black out curtains. Very bright in room at night with their outside lights. Otherwise it would have been fine. Very clean.

Our suite was set away from others and it felt like we were not in a hotel.

Very nice for the price. My son and I were very comfortable staying here plus it was nice that it felt homey and it was a safe and quiet location. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

The only down fall was they only had one mirrior it was in thw bathroom and me being short I struggled to see it and the air conditioner was just okay. We are already planning our next trip. The service and comfort was amazing. We recommend skipping Doc Fords restaurant and going straight to Bimini Bait shop for dinners.

Our room was cozy and easy to access. I worked disaster relief during Ian and it's great to see the recovery. My only suggestion would be to have the girl who drives in from another place acquaint herself with the surrounding restaurants in area so that she can be more helpful to the guest and suggestions.

The price was good for not being on the beach. The only downside is that it is starting to show its age.

OML this place if you ever get a chance to stay in Fort Myers you need to stay at these places! such accommodations for you! The kayaks, fishing polls and bikes are the deal all day out on the water catching fish is what Florida is about and wildlife on land and in the water right on the docks is the best! The staff is the best always making sure you are having fun and getting you what you need for your room! The rooms are so cute and comfy but there is so much to your not in your room! The pool I think was a saltwater pool nice! If I didn't catch over 30 fish (Catch and release) I'm lying best fishing! Thank you to the staff and manager Joe and the lady at night it was the best stay so far. I'll be back!

Beautiful and clean resort. Amazing communication. Check in process was seamless. We had a "do not disturb" sign on our room, and they double checked by text to make sure that we did not want our room cleaned. They ended up leaving us towels at our front door anyway. The location was perfect! It was a $5 uber ride to the beach. We won't stay anywhere else again! I highly recommend!

This is a lovely property. It’s small, so the pool isn’t overcrowded. The rooms are the perfect size and were very clean and comfortable. Check-in was super easy— they texted me a code to get in! The place is centrally located, so every place you want to go is a short distance.

This place I recommend for family the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable you get a king size bed and a queen bed big enough for a family to sleep comfortably. The amenities are wonderful they offer fishing poles, beach towels and chair for travelers traveling from out of town. Place to take your family every vacation.

Excellent staff who went above and beyond, spotless accommodations, and a serene, Zen-like atmosphere made this a truly relaxing weekend getaway. The harbor views were stunning, and we loved enjoying the complimentary breakfast while overlooking the water. The beach was just minutes away, and the convenient trolley stop at the resort made it easy and affordable—only 75 cents—to get there. Highly recommend!

Loved this boutique hotel! Great rates! Some suites have refrigerators, microwaves and kitchen sinks. Hotel provided microwave safe dishes and silverware. Quaint property!

I was so pleased with our stay! The room was a typical hotel/motel room but clean and well maintained. The grounds were perfect for what we needed, pool and fishing for the kids and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the outside for me. Every staff member I encountered was super nice and very helpful! Will absolutely book here again!

This is a lovely laid-back hotel, away from the busy Ft. Meyers Beach strip. They have kayaks, paddleboards, and bikes that can be borrowed for no extra charge, a nice pool with floaties and toys for kids, and a peaceful partially shaded courtyard. They also have a grill that guests can use. The only things I would change is less packaged food at breakfast (single serving cereals and granola bars, packaged bagels, and disposable plates, cups, and utensils), the addition of laundry machines, and sweeping of the rooms (our floors were covered in sand by the last night). The clientele included mostly families and couples.

They offer a continental breakfast which was good. There are lots of good restaurants close by. Would we stay there again. Maybe if the price is right.

Spring break trip with family, two children under 7. Lots of wonderful amenities - sand toys, beach chairs, towels, bikes (with helmets!), kayaks and paddle boards. Extremely friendly staff (Rose, Amaryllis and Joe) with great recommendations for dining and transportation etc.

Very cute, was looking for a reasonable priced room just to stay overnight while i went shelling on Sanibel Island. Its an older hotel that has been renovated. Cute beach themed rooms. You can tell the old doors were painted over. Room has new floors, shower was nice. I liked that the water pressure was high and they have a detachable shower head. Had a good nights sleep. Room was very clean. Just not "new". Had a great kitchenette. I felt comfortable staying here, traveling by myself. A lot of nice families with kids were staying there Nice continental breakfast. Never interacted with any staff, you check in on your phone and they give you a code for your room. I would definitely stay here again!

This is one of my favorite hotels ever! It was very comfortable and homey and immaculate in the room and on the grounds. The room was spacious and comfortable with a big refrigerator and microwave. Also a kitchen sink and a little kitchen table. The pool area and courtyard was beautiful with tons of greenery and plenty of places to sit and relax. There is also a marina next door that is fun to walk around.

Dated building but quaint, very reasonable, clean and staff was attentive and polite

I stayed in at this property for 2 nights and the first night the sewer backed up (in the evening) and our toilet was not flushing and i went outside and there was sewer on the ground. It also came up our shower. Things happen but what i was disappointed about was i had to ask when it was fixed but i did get a text an hour later, nobody came to clean our shower, nobody came to see if it was okay, nor did they offer us to move rooms. Go the whole room smelt like sewer gas. So we basically had to sit outside because of the smell inside, so they didnt really care about us in their facility.

Very good location, nice access and view to marina, room was very nice. We think it is a great location with local feel unique atmosphere. Just over the bridge to beaches and near Doc Fords one of our favorite restaurants! We definetly can recommend it.

Recommended, we got room with Quiet AC which was very important to us. We were able to get the kayaks and explore around as well paddle boards for free. Will try to go back there next year. :-)

Amenties were sparce. No shampoo or kleenex in room. Beach towels were scratchy and had to be checked out at the office. No extra blankets in room. Breakfast option was only 8:30-10:00, even on Saturday. Pretty far from the beach, definately not walkable.

I will definitely be returning to Latitude 26 Resort, I stayed one night in each of the locations in Fort Myers Beach and while I loved both of them, I preferred the 17990 San Carlos location because of the dock area with the sunbathing hammocks! When I return I want a room on the second floor facing the waterfront!😊 Larger families might prefer the big rooms at the 17863 San Carlos address. Both rooms I stayed in had a king size bed and a queen size bed! Staff were great and I highly recommend Bayside Grill, next door, for dinner! Even the locals eat there, fantastic food, nachos would feed 3 people and Wednesday night is Prime Rib night! Pizza is good, too!
