This property was spotless and very beautiful! The only thing I didn't like was after I had booked our stay, I was sent a message that

Room had washer/dryer, full size refrigerator and microware. Daily breakfast and bar and restaurant for dinner available too. We have stayed here over the years and never disappointed. Look forward to staying there next time we are in town.

I loved everything about it. The room, the amenities, the breakfast bar the dining room food was excellent. The view from my room was excellent. That had I have taken a rental car I would’ve had to pay $40 per night to Park

Everything you need is there, nice clean room, large comfortable bed, sofa, balcony with nice view, fresh air, quiet, full kitchen, free breakfast, close to the beach, pool with view on the bay.

Great breakfast buffet Pool could use some maintenance and have towels available rather than having to go to front desk. All staff were fantastic except for front desk, they didn't seem very friendly or helpful.

The pool was closed for event a wedding. The pool is too old and dirty

The staff was great. We got upgraded and they made sure we had a special time celebrating my mom.

Our room, 720, was absolutely perfect. The views of the sunset were magnificent. Watching the boats go by was truly our favorite experience. When room cleaning was requested, there was no lag in turnover. The tub drains very slow but we did let housekeepers know. Valet was also very helpful.

I had a great experience at this hotel. They upgraded my room, which was a wonderful surprise. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was good, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach. Overall, an excellent stay.

The only parking available was valet parking at $40+ per day. The last day I was told there was public parking across the street for $24 a day. Breakfast was good.

So I’m giving this a low rating because I paid a lot for the room and it was filthy when we arrived. Clearly had not been cleaned properly. We also woke up with bites all over us. No bed bugs I checked the bed. I took photos of the dirty room. There was even someone’s shaving hair in the bathroom drawer

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Il Lugano - Marc on the front desk has excellent customer service & communication skills & is a really helpful guy. The only thing that leaves this hotel down is the breakfast which was repetitive & bland with minimal choice.

The property was beautiful, the perfect location as it was a close walk to the beach. The staff were wonderful. Will 100% be staying here again the next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale.

Everything was good but the parking $40 a night was a lot and they had parking lot on site but they have valet people park in the car and they were very courteous the guys that didn’t work there

The property was exactly what we wanted - kitchenette allowed us to do some of our own food. The included breakfast had lots of options to choose from and the location was perfect for what we had to do

Overall this hotel was fantastic. Our room came with a full kitchen and washer/dryer which was wonderful. The view was gorgeous and the restaurant on site was delicious. Very busy area however, so if you have a vehicle, plan to expect constant traffic delays.

However, one downside was that the temperature inside the hotel felt extremely cold and difficult to adjust, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were the same every day, so there wasn’t much variety for longer stays. That said, the ocean view was absolutely incredible and truly a highlight of the experience. Waking up to that scenery made the stay worthwhile.

It was just the right atmosphere for the stay-cation I was looking for. The restaurant was excellent, the staff friendly, and overall my stay was peaceful. I will be coming back soon.

The beach umbrella and holder for the umbrella didn’t match, beach towels major bleach stains, and beach chair rusted. This place is awesome. From the staff upon arrival/departure, valet parking, room super clean and magnificient view. Hope to go back ASAP!

Breakfast was great. Wished restaurant would stay open later at least until 9pm. PM bartenders nice and friendly. Took a while for shower water to heat up. Shower escutcheon plate not adhered to the shower wall tile. Needs to be fixed.

When we first arrived there was an excellent staff member at the front desk on the evening shift (12/29), However there was one staff member at the front desk in the early mornings who was always very angry and used inappropriate language. He also was annoyed when asked about where we could find beaches with lifeguards on duty. I avoided the front desk if he was present.

Loved the location and the amenities of the hotel. Walkable area, close to the beach, restaurants and bars. Quiet area next to Intracoastal waterway and the hop on-hop off water taxi. Breakfast was not to our liking. Prepackaged food to heat in the microwave. Coffee was good and there was cereal and fruit with yogurt. Can’t go wrong with a bagel or toast. It was adequate.

Location was great and convenient. Nice neighborhood and a neat little area on the intercoastal with a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and a gas station all within a 2-3 block walking distance. Choose to drive, and within 10-15 minutes there is so much more! Parking is valet only, and mattress for the pullout sofa was well worn amd not so comfortable.

Several things in the room were not working, including coffee maker, microwave and ceiling fan. Handle on the patio door was falling off, we fixed it as good as we could to make do. Breakfast was the same every day for the 5 days we stayed there, sausage was the only meat choice.

The complimentary breakfast is quite extensive with hot and cold food, yougurts, cereals, waffles, pancakes, bread, scramble and hard boiled eggs, breakfast roasted potatoes, patties and sausages, fruits, juice, milk, coffe , among other things. The location is privileged within walking distance to the beach, Walgreens, a grocery store, a gas station if you are in need of any supplies. Also very nice restaurants are a a few steps away from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating

Our room had a beautiful west-facing view of the Intracoastal Waterway, which was lovely both in the morning and afternoon. Stayed here for almost a week in a half, overall wasn’t a bad experience. Just I expected to be closer walking distance to the beach. Which the beach is close but only access is for the resort hotels so technically no access. My room also barely got cleaned while I stayed there for a long period. One cleaning my bed was only folded but the sheets weren’t changed at all- I noticed because I sleep with socks on and they were still in the sheets. Coffee supplies were also not replaced so rushed job. Breakfast wasn’t bad but no variety - the same thing everyday. I usually always stay in hotels for work and I know it’s usually a standard breakfast but usually been in hotels that rotate options. On my last few days, there were also a couple events taking place and this caused a lot of crowds in many of the common areas , lobby , and breakfast dining area. Kids were running around and just bumping into various areas as it seems an event was for a child , while I understand the hotel is kid friendly I was traveling for work and expected more of a quiet environment. I didn’t know the hotel served as an events place as well and that it would interfere with common areas of regular guests.

Stayed here for almost a week in a half, overall wasn’t a bad experience. Just I expected to be closer walking distance to the beach. Which the beach is close but only access is for the resort hotels so technically no access. My room also barely got cleaned while I stayed there for a long period. One cleaning my bed was only folded but the sheets weren’t changed at all- I noticed because I sleep with socks on and they were still in the sheets. Coffee supplies were also not replaced so rushed job. Breakfast wasn’t bad but no variety - the same thing everyday. I usually always stay in hotels for work and I know it’s usually a standard breakfast but usually been in hotels that rotate options. On my last few days, there were also a couple events taking place and this caused a lot of crowds in many of the common areas , lobby , and breakfast dining area. Kids were running around and just bumping into various areas as it seems an event was for a child , while I understand the hotel is kid friendly I was traveling for work and expected more of a quiet environment. I didn’t know the hotel served as an events place as well and that it would interfere with common areas of regular guests.

This is more like a Ritz Carlton than a Residence Inn. The hotel is fabulous. I highly recommend.

This what right on one of the waterways. Amazing views in the morning and evening. Breakfast was fantastic and eating so close to the water was great. The beds were comfy and the washer and dryer was a godsend.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The only downside was my room was not ready at check in. However, I went to the pool area while I waited and that was lovely. I had dinner at a nearby restaurant that was less than a 10 minute walk. Breakfast in the morning was great just no OJ. These were minor things. If was really nice, the room was clean. I'd recommend it!

This hotel has all the things I was looking for, close to the airport and shopping destinations, beach across the street and marina to the back the views are perfect from either side. I loved watching the yatchs go by while having breakfast under palm trees. The hotel is very clean and the rooms very spacious. The staff was wonderful. The only down side was sometimes there was only one person at the front desk and he seemed overwhelmed. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.

What I loved and thought was very unique is how I could have my breakfast either on the canal, watching the boats go by or off my balcony watching the ocean scenery… I will stay again!

Would have given the place 5-stars but for the room smelled like marijuana and I didn’t receive cleaning services one day out my stay.

Nice weekend getaway. Lots of food options close by and the beach. Loved the private balcony . Would stay again. Have to pay for parking , valet is expensive but the city parking is cheaper .

I love the fact that we had a sitting area and a kitchen...Huge apt and can walk to the beach, and supermarket.

Apartment size was very spacious. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, and great amenities. Great service. Definitely would visit again.

ng stay here. I would highly recommend. The staff was lovely, the room itself was beautiful, and it's in a wonderful place to be not far from the beach. I'll be staying here every trip I take back to FL. Do not hesitate to book here!

Great location and amazing staff

Room cleanings were every other day, and did perfect job. Breakfast was excellent. The only problem was car parking. They only have valet parking and it costs $40 per day.

Loved the valet and how spacious each room is. Loved how all the rooms comes with some sort of utensils for you to feel at home.

My stay was okay, the balcony and view were the best part, the room was a little dated. On the last night I noticed a humongous roach crawling over our bed that was a major disgust. The front desk was nice and helpful.

The aesthetics walking inside the property was nice. Parking was swift. Trusted valets with a suv full of items over night. Key card for elevators made staying feel secure. The room was large, including 2 televisions and washer and dryer, mini stove, large fridge and even though my iron didn’t work they had that and an ironing board. It felt like a timeshare property, which was great for me!

This hotel was perfect for my daughter and I. The location was close to everywhere we needed to go. The staff was amazing and we received everything we needed. My favorite was the view from the balcony of the river. When we return to Ft. Lauderdale, we will definitely stay at Residence Inn again.

Breakfast was good, they also provided a late check out. Walking distance to the beach.

Lovely view from our balcony. It was nonsmoking but we could smell strong weed smell from nearby guests. My kids didn’t need to be subjected to that. Great location walking distance to the beach and stores and restaurants.

Friendly and peaceful environment and nice staffs, close to most vacation activities. Love their breakfast-please add bacon next time. Will do this again and again 👍

Hotel was nice. The only downside was the restaurant not being open during my stay. However there was food delivery options

The property on the water made it 3xtra special. One of the best vacations I've taken in a long time. Staff, Hotel, amenities were all on point. Location was great. We took a water taxi fromthe restaurant 2 buildings over to eat and sight see other parts of Fort Lauderdale. We got to witness a beautiful wedding at the hotel all while relaxing right outside on the water. Top tier.

This hotel was super clean, super spacious, and the view was amazing, the balcony was huge!! You can sit outside by the water and eat or drink. The room had a full kitchen. Parking available and walking distance to the beach. Restaurant and bars near by also a Walgreens very convenient! Great location!

The kitchenette and in room washer / dryer was also super convenient. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue we had was the microwave was broken. It would run even when it was not programsd. We just unplugged it.

In the morning, we were delighted by the complimentary breakfast—plenty of options and everything was fresh and delicious. It set the tone for a great start to the day. Beyond the accommodations, the staff truly stood out. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests I had. The facility is great and beautiful but, I was shocked to find out that they don’t offer free parking and they charge you $40 per 24hrs of stay to park your car in their garage underneath the building on top of daily stay rate.

Parking fee was a surprise. Amenities and structure well kept and clean staffing at night. Questionable has six people checking in waiting for one clerk that doesn’t know systems.
