I was very unhappy with the way this situation was handled. The security guard knocked on our door at 11:00 PM in a very aggressive manner, as if we were being sought by the police, simply to inform us that our vehicle was not parked correctly. The proper way to handle this situation would have been for the office to call our room and notify us, rather than knocking on our door while we were asleep. We were startled and awakened in the middle of the night for an issue that could have been resolved in a much more professional and respectful manner. This experience was completely unpleasant and inappropriate for guests who are trying to rest. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the way these situations are handled in the future.

All of the above was excellent customer service. Well kept in parking lots. breakfast was just right. And attentive when I called for any issues in the rom like the TV. Programming was hard for me. Maintenance came and connected it. And the room Safe in closed had an error message I couldn't open after I locked it . And Maintenance came in 5 minutes.

If your looking for a spring break sketchy old florida, hotel this is it. Booking tricks you because one side of the hotel is nice, but then the building to the left makes you question your own survival. Tinted windows half peeled away w carpeted outdoor walk ways. I took my kids and we went to the pool in the nice side it was a full on smoke party fest..so no pool for us. The pool in my building is right adjacent to the parking lot, so another no thanks. Not recommended unless you just need a cheap hotel and you choose the building that has the check in and not the other building

Also in the corners and other areas there was dirt. It would have also have been nice to have a little rug next to the bed. The floor didn’t feel clean.

Great location! Right across from the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful and attentive. Parking was up front and the pool was nice and clean with a nice small courtyard. In a great area with convenient access to all the sights. Would go back!

Be aware of parking fees, and they charge a resort fee and also I wasn’t too happy about having to go back to the front office because my key was not working the next day so they had to reset it and it was like re-checking in

The staff were so friendly. The rooms were kept very clean. You could always find someone to help you with anything you need. The pool was kept very clean. There were no stores close enough to buy groceries. The Winn-Dixie had just closed two weeks prior to our visit. The good news is they plan on putting an Aldi's there soon.

The staff where excellent, the place is clean, great area. The building, the environment need fixing, renovations. You showed us this beautiful building with romantic lights all over,but it's not all that beautiful when I came there, so I was a bit disappointed. And we spend so much money for the room.

Upon entering my unit, I was met with a toilet overflowing with urine. A roach was also present within the bathroom, which I promptly eliminated using a towel. Despite attempting to contact the front desk, the phone in unit 216 was unresponsive. Additionally, the bathroom covers appeared to be excessively soiled and unpleasant to the touch.

Rooms were upgraded and very clean. Front pool was slightly dirty (hair) but back pool was comfy, spacious and relaxing.

Room had blood on the sheets, TV didn’t work, no phone in room. Outside is very stechy looking unlike the photos online! Second room was better but little concern was shown for the state of the first room we were put in. And feel there should have been some compensation offered for the blood, broken tv and no phone but none was

Cute beach town hotel. The hotel Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and updated. (I liked our room on the third floor the best) The outside of the hotel could use a refresh but it was clean. We used the pool on the other side of the hotel. It was really nice and had loungers.

We move to a room with not have proper lock, old furniture, there was bug in bathroom and have no security after i had an argue then they move us into next building and over there bathroom light was so low as well only their reception area is new renovated

This place is very misleading, it is a 10 minute or more walk to the beach, no beautiful sandy walkway like the pictures say, the whole place smells like marijuana, loud banging doors all hours of the night, I would not stay here again. Too misleading in every way.

This is definitely an older property but the lobby and rooms were updated and clean. Pool area is nice but directly next to a busy road. Definitely more of a motel vibe. Lobby was super cool though. Staff were very friendly. Great and convenient location to Fort Lauderdale beaches and sites.

From the moment we walked in room 116, our allergies acted up.It smelled like mold the entire night. We both woke up with headaches from the air in the room. Terrible.

Spacious, clean cross street from Ocean and walking distance to food places. Only thing wish there was a better way to get to the beach. Over all I would stay again.

The only thing nice about this property was the front desk staff Where should I begin? There are roaches in room 215. When we spoke to the front desk manager, she did not believe us. (We have pictures) there is mold everywhere. We were moved to three different rooms due to the overwhelming mold in each room. So much so that the manager took pictures of it. Mold on the curtains, lampshades, all over bathroom because there is NO vent in the bathroom. Sitting at the pool, we were approached three times by homeless people. About 2 in the morning, a homeless man knocked on my daughter’s door. Again And again. Another night, a homeless man went from door to door knocking. We called security and basically we were told we were wrong and they didn’t believe us. The hotel is not secure AT ALL. Anyone can walk right on property and have access. My daughter and I were at the pool. A man on the third floor balcony continually stared at her. I told him to stop. He said “ I’ve lived here three months I can do what I want” it was so uncomfortable we left pool and he blew her a kiss. Unsettling, disgusting, disturbing. My daughter in law was getting out of the tub and a maid knocked and just walked right in on her! Never gave her a chance to even answer that she was not dressed! I cannot emphasize this enough: DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

This is not a hotel. It is a cheap “hourly like motel” at best. The pictures do not match the actual property. The property is filthy, unsafe, and has mold. We did not stay for even 10 minutes. Completely disgusting. Health department should visit.

Parking was good. A/C was loud temperature was less than cool. In high level to loud to sleep. Room was clean but no service unless requested. Advertising of the complex don’t match the listing beach was advised as step from hotel when in fact it was 10 min drive or a 25 min walk. The water in the bathroom came out kinda yellow running water don’t notice but if you fill the tub absolutely and you can see it in the bowl. Use bottle water to rinse mouth. Would not use this place again and do not recommend it. Please this is just my opinion. It was a last minute reservation had to fine something quick and those are the resort. Give it a 11/2 start.

The word “palace” is very far from the truth. Motel is more like it. Although the staff was friendly, the place was disgusting. The room was overpowered with a cleaner smell. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Dirty curtains and shower curtain. The air-conditioning unit was so loud it kept waking us up. I’m also pretty sure that using extension cords plugged in behind the bed for lamps phones etc isn’t safe. The one pool was disgusting. Had a nasty film over…the weeds are growing through the concrete everywhere around the pool. It’s like the place went downhill…Somebody else bought it and cheaply fixed it up. The pictures about the place online must be from 20 years ago!

The water was discolored - yellowish to a light brown when you run water in showers and faucets. We called the front desk due to let them know - it’s an issue due the city flushing out water lines- hops to improve by fall of 2026. They did not do a wake up call as requested. Room was clean but the property was run down- needs some updates for sure.

The room itself was clean and had a great smell. However the shower curtain hooks definitely had mold on them and around the shower was not the cleanest.The AC only kept the room cool if it was running constantly. If you aren’t a hot sleeper, then the AC is just fine! The staff were super friendly and very helpful.

When we pulled in we noticed that the property looked nothing like the pictures online. Check in was easy. We got to our room and surprisingly it was nicer than we thought. Fast forward to bedtime…..We pull out the sheets to get in bed and find that the sheet had dried feces on it. I bring it down to the front desk and get I am so sorry. This is unacceptable. I’ll have a manager call you in the morning. Morning comes and no call. We check out and leave for our cruise. We get back from the cruise and have to stay 1 more night there as we already paid for it. We get back to the hotel to check in and had to wait to get in a room. Which was fine as it was only noon. We finally get into our room and it smells so musty and mildewy that we wanted to gag! Go into the bathroom and there is what looks like to be mold on the ceiling in this bathroom. This room we got this time was definitely not as clean as the other room. When you book online there is apparently 2 different types of properties here. A club and a resort I believe she called it. I don’t recall ever getting any choice when I booked. I just booked a double bed room and got the resort side I believe. Now the club side did look nicer. The pool and patio side was definitely nicer. It’s been 6 days and my deposit is still on my card as pending……Unsure why it is still showing pending as all we did was check in that day, go to dinner and back to sleep as we had to be up at 4am to get to the airport. I would not stay Again.

Horrible condition, hotel is actually an old motel that needs renovation. You have to exit the hotel entrance walk outside in the dark parking lot to a building next door to enter the rooms from the outside. It reminds me of an old movie with motels. The doorway around the bathroom entrance was very dirty and needs paint touch ups, the bathtub is stripping, wash rags and towels were old and tattered! Everything about this place gave me and my family creepy

The room looked clean. But the floor wasn't clean I put on a pair of socks 3 times in one day then I just kept my slides on. Parking was ok only time I herd anything from the staff was when they called me while I was in the room to tell me they had messed up my booking I was supposed to stay till Sunday but I Friday morning. Also room was left in perfect condition an I still don't have my 200 dollar deposit back? They just keep giving me the runaround saying it must be your credit card cause we gave back the deposit I'd put my statement up here if I could I never got the deposit back. So just because of that I'll never be back. An if your like me a need money on your card I'd book with someone else.

The parking was the best part of the stay. The room just felt dirty. The pillows were old and the air conditioning was way too loud to use. They took a resort fee that I was not expecting also a $100 deposit that I won't get back for 4 to 5 business days? The room wasn't worth what I paid and I definitely won't stay here again. The location was good but I didn't stay there for the beach. I stayed for the price and I definitely got what I paid for which was not much.

They are also thieves. We stayed on our way to catch a cruise, we left 3 brand new shirts and a pair of formal shorts we had just purchased in Fort Lauderdale and we realized we left them hanging in the closet, as soon as we boarded the ship and called. We were promised they would have them at the front. Came in directly 4 days later as we disembarked and were told no one said anything nor found them. They had us standing there 30 minutes while they “looked for it” But became insulted when I called them thieves. Do not stay here!!! I never ever leave bad reviews

Disappointing m! We reserved the Honeymoon suite with jacuzzi tub. When we arrived after a 5 hour drive, we were told that the room was not available due to an unexpected broken window. They didn’t charge us the parking fee and resort fee to compensate- but the only reason we selected this hotel was for the jacuzzi tub. They said we could cancel but we were in town for a wedding the same day and no time to look for another hotel. I think we should have been compensated more accordingly!!

I absolutely loved the location of this place it was perfect however the “hotel” gave motel vibes there was black mold in the ceiling bathroom. When we got there the toilet was clogged…the front desk sent someone to fix it. We left to dinner and came back to water all over the bathroom floor. The location is perfect.

pictures of Hotel are very deceiving, they must have been from 20 years ago, Hotel is very old and the pictures of the rooms look nothing like the actual room we had. It is not really Oceanfront, you cannot see the beach or water in anyway and there is no easy access to walk to the beach from the Hotel, we had to drive to the beach and pay parking. We were also charged parking for the Hotel when we arrived, no where on the booking did it say anything about a fee for parking.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The property is inconsistent—while one building appears more updated, the older building is clearly neglected. The room in the older section had issues, including bags left behind, which made it feel unclean and poorly maintained.

Breaker tripped in the room in the power, hot water tank, tripped but asked to have a room cleaned a couple times that didn’t come place was not maintained. It’s all run down in each lot of work. I wasn’t happy there. ‘

This hotel was disappointing. I would not stay here unless I was a smoker and wanted to be able to smoke where I was staying.,Although the room seemed clean, the glass was cracked in our large window. The outside area right outside our room and the pool area was littered with dirty ashtrays and there were frequently people smoking there. Empty water bottles and towels were left lying around for over 24 hours altho I did see someone vacuum the Pool the two mornings we were there and the water appeared cleaner than the pool deck. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean. Staff, no Shuttle even though I called and was told they did. Outside wasn't the cleanest, never have I ever stayed anywhere that didn't have commentary coffee. Did have a coffee machine for a dollar if you like bean water. Shows pictures of the ocean but not sure how to get to it when asked they said go down 2 lights and look for public access still didn't find it .

We felt by looking at the pictures, the beach was literally across the street from the hotel- but it was NOT! U had to walk across the street and down approx a block and then turn and walk towards the ocean. Room was clean, U had to request maid service yourself by a certain time of day or U wld Not get it- rooms have been updated and clean- but VERY BASIC. The pool at Ocean Beach was nice- we had an issue wth the tv and someone was up IMMEDIATELY to help- which was appreciated!

The staff went out of their way to help with a lost phone. Dirty, small amounts of improvement would make this look like someone made an effort. Especially the smell, the sticky floors and the couch was stained and not worthy to sit on! Yuk!!! We got in too late to even ask for a new room! Updated furniture for sure! You could see outside the walls by the air conditioner!

This isn’t 2nd time staying at this property the staff is nice and the rooms are clean and good in size. Price is extremely decent and close to few things as well.

The location is great walking distance to the public Fort Lauderdale beach. The pool looked good although we didn’t try it, bed was comfortable, air conditioning was good. A little run down. Definitely needs a spruce up in the old carpet, the shower pressure was good but the bathroom overall needs its upgrade. It just feels worn down. Overall not worth a 1 night $364 stay. We got the honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi bedside, but the aspect of the hotel in general didn’t make me comfortable enough to try it out. Nice presentation though.

Room very clean! Pool was great! Not so close to a lot of Restaraunts walking to so would have to uber. We Ubered to Lauderdale-by-the sea, it was a quick drive. The only thing about this hotel is that our room was in the other building they own and when looking at uber or Lyft another address was popping up with a different address number. And it was so confusing but no one had told us it was a different address. Thought buildings were all same address so we had to ask front desk and they said yes your building is at “ this address”. It would have been nice if they told us that ahead of time because we waisted time and effort and canceling an uber trying to figure things out. After we did, it was a very nice place. And McDonald’s right across the street.

The location The room wasnt ready even after check in. The front desk did not seem to care about us being there or not. we did not feel like a priority. When the room was cleaned after we checked in, the standard of cleanliness was minimal. (we waited outside for 40 min after we checked in) The hotel might have been nice in the 80's but that is it. Its in rough shape all around. The door which goes outside directly was in rough shape was not secure.

Very nice pool and common areas. We paid for a late checkout and had two housekeeping employees open our door asking if we were leaving. Communication with the front desk and cleaning staff could have been better. But overall very nice hotel. Would book again.

Invest in improving the amenities and the multiple buildings have the exact same pictures for all building which is NOT true. they should update the property to the standards to the Cost of staying at the hotel as it is NOT a Palace be any means

The check in process was very slow. They need more help at the desk. The internet and tv service was terrible. The tv froze up constantly. You couldn’t watch a complete show. They kept telling us they were working on it. However, it never got better. The grounds on the property can use some upgrades and paint.

Pictures online were deceiving. Discrepancy in additional fees from hotel ( added $24 upon arrival for use of chairs and towels that we did not use and parking that every hotel thinks is ok to charge now). The hair dryer was mounted tight besude the tub, a fire hazard.

Room was remodeled and very clean. We loved the suite to have separated spaces when one was sleeping. Microwave and refridgerator in the room was very convenient as was having the Bamboo Tiki Bar across the street for drinks, food and beach chairs. I wish they had a hot tub and a bar/restaurant on site would have made it 5 stars.

The room was clean and was OK for our one night stay. I do feel like I was misled. I was under the impression this place was on the beach. It is not. It’s across the street. The motel is outdated. The outside has a run down look to it, in my opinion. Personally, I expected something entirely different for 315.00 a night. Just being honest

Our stay was okay overall, but the room could really use a heater it was freezing during our visit. I know it’s not always that cold, but we happened to come during record-breaking weather. The news mentioned it hadn’t been that cold in 15 years! The remote control was also very sticky; I used my own Clorox wipes and it came off quite dirty. The showerhead had some mold and probably needs to be replaced. On the positive side, the location was great close to the beach and fine for a two night stay. It would also be nice if the hotel added a washer and dryer for guests. We were headed on a cruise and needed to wash some clothes after those couple of days there. The staff is pretty nice.

A perfect little getaway spot! It’s exactly what you pay for in a good way. A little old looking but it had all the amenities and was clean. Great location to get to many places! Beach is super super close which was a plus! Pool was nice and the chairs around it were perfect! Would recommend.

Upon arrival we noticed the building was very old and out of date. When we got to our room, it had a distinct odor and the door was catching so it was difficult to lock. The weather was in the mid 20 low 30s so we tried to switch the AC unit to heat and had no luck. We called the front desk and were told that the heat setting did not work and that someone would bring us an electric heater. We waited for the heater for about 20 mins and had to call again to see where they were. A guy brought the heater and we realized it didn’t work! At that point, we just went to bed freezing because it was after 12am. Overall, it was a place to lay down. Nothing to praise about this place. Very disappointed especially since it was $200 for that night.

The room was fine and staff was nice. The reason why I only gave 2 stars is because I booked the honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi and the water was yellow. Pee yellow. The toilet water was also so I’m guessing the water I showered with was too. They did move me to a different room but same thing. I feel I was not able to take advantage of the jacuzzi on my bday trip.

The staff person at the Front Desk needs additional training. I called when I was outside in the Uber. The driver was trying to drop me at Ocean Mile hotel because the GPS brought us there. I tried calling the hotel for directions because I knew I was in the vicinity but it was dark and wanted to avoid wandering around to find the hotel. The uber driver insisted I get out and had to wander around until I found the hotel. I mentioned it to The front desk clerk who said she was busy checking in guests and could not answer the phone. WHAT HOTEL DOES NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE??!! What if someone on the property was injured and called front desk for assistance. Also there was only a bath mat and wash cloth in bath room causing me to have to go back to front desk to get more towels. Upon arriving back to my room, the door to the room swings out and hit me as I was walking thru causing me to fall and hit my head on the air conditioner. I did let Anna know what had happened along with her colleague. I also mentioned to Angelina the manager who agreed that the new staff member needed further training. In addition, the new staff member as she was leaving her shift spoke to the staff member taking over in Spanish about me which was rude and highly inappropriate. It turns out that I understand Spanish. Not all rooms have lamps with USB ports which they switched the lamp in my room from another room but the USB port did not work. Make sure to take adapter to use to charge cell phone.

Strange hotel. It didn’t feel safe. Rooms are in two buildings and I was in the far building. The whole property stunk of marijuana. People hanging in the parking lot just sitting in their cars. The whole hotel didn’t feel very clean.

When we did get our 2 rooms at three even though we had a pre check in we had to go thru the process all over again. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The only disappointing things about the room is that the floor was dirty. I had on white socks and from my bed to the bathroom they got black and there was no ventilation in the bathroom so upon taking a shower the floor was moist and slippery so we had to use towels to get up the condensation.

You have to pay for parking with daily rate of $12. You also have to pay a "resort" fee of $10 per day. Im not sure what this resort fee covers, especially since they don't seevice your room unless you request it, which im sure there is an additional cost for thst too. I had to hunt down a cleaning lady just to get clran towels. Bathroom had no exhaust, so everything was wet with condensation after every shower.

The staff were very friendly. Our flight didn’t leave till the evening and we were allowed to leave our luggage at the desk and also use the hotel amenities after checkout. The room was nice and comfortable. Only downside is not much to do in the area other than walk a few blocks to the beach or go to McDonald’s and NYC bagels.

The bed sheets were stained and dirty hair on the floor it was passed 11pm and took an hour to get a new room I had kids with me an a 2 year old an had a plane to catch back to Vegas in the morning on top of that the guy at the front desk gave me attitude an tried to me charge me for an upgrade

I purchased a room with a kitchen and the refrigerator was not cooling properly. I contacted the staff and maintenance defrosted the freezer. This did not correct the issue. I contacted the staff the next morning, and they said they would send maintenance up, no one ever arrived. I lost all our refrigerated food and leftovers, milk etc... The staff did not care. I reached out to Expedia to assist and they were able to get me the $56.50 in resort fees. Beyond that, the hotel did not care. Typically I have stayed here in the past but never had any issues. Beware that if you have an issue, the staff / hotel does not care !

Hotels.com incorrectly booked the reservation for the following night but the manager was extremely accomodating in changing it to the correct night. The room was basic but clean, separated and nice and cold. We loved the tile floors and how close it was to everything. The property is older but well kept. We would absolutely stay again.

I had a great time. I stayed there for two weeks. The staff couldn’t have been more respectful the people they were wonderful. The rooms are clean and very accommodating across the street. They have food McDonald’s, pizza, and a lovely restaurant across the street. Live music and you right on the beach

I just loved it there. I could live there with so beautiful, especially love the hot tub with the purple light at the outdoor porch where you’re overlooking the beach I watch the air show it was beautiful. The staff was wonderful. They treated me like family. I would highly recommend it and I’d love to go back and right across the street is the famous jungle queen, which is like heaven and a great price and the captain so wonderful the way he treats his mother and all the passengers

We stayed in the honeymoon suite for a romantic couples night for use of the indoor jacuzzi tub. There were pros and cons. The pros; the bed was comfortable and it was a spacious room. The cons; upon arrival we asked the gentleman at the front desk for a later checkout he said no problem we could checkout at noon complimentary we just had to let the front desk know in the morning. They did not allow us to checkout at noon. The door didn't have a manual deadbolt or secure lock. When we filled up the jacuzzi tub and the second we turned on the jets the water turned black and there were chunks of algae and mold in the water. At exactly 10:00 am the housekeeper came banging on the door despite having the do not disturb sign on the door and slung open the door seeing my husband completely in the nude. Will not stay here again.

This was a last minute stay I planned very poorly and they were very accommodating. Avril helped me with reservation updates and upgrades. There is an early check in fee. Local beach, restaurants and shopping is all within walking distance. Shuttle service to and from the airport is available from a separate company that they suggested and was awesome.

It was nice. Several things were broken but they promptly fixed what they could. The beach walk was a lot farther than what we were told. It was almost too much for us. That was super disappointing. The pools were great and everyone friendly.

For the price it was nice. I booked a honeymoon suite but it was basically just the room with a jacuzzi in room. I naturally double check and clean the tubs and I’m glad I did because the jets in the jacuzzi were filthy after I sprayed them with bleach gel and ran the jets. I would’ve like to maybe have a little box of chocolates or some flowers to welcome me in the room but it was fine. Definitely a great stay.

Sadly, it was raining the 2 days i was there, but the room was comfortable, and quiet and i was mostly resting the entire time, aside from my holiday I was there for, celebrating with the synagogue nearby. The location was perfect. The accommodations were comfortable and relaxing, despite the rain all day. April and Dieago helped me a lot. And were amazing as always. Dieago And Armano ( spelled correct?) Made sure i was in a comfortable and quiet environment. So, that i may enjoy the most out of my stay. They outdid themselves and went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of. And that everything was to my liking. Thank you again for making my stay as comfortable as possible. Much appreciated. Great price online. Great service. And comfortable accommodations for my holiday. This is my Go To hotel for when i need to be near the synagogue for the holidays. Much appreciated.

Location of the property is perfect, price supper affordable as well. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and we enjoyed it especially the jacuzzi! 5 minute walk to the beach, we went through the tiki bar entrance to get there. Room was nice, had an old musty smell but nothing unbearable. Some office staff is more helpful than others. They do offer beach chairs but the only catch is they are $5 with a $70 security deposit PER CHAIR.

The location and pricing is also perfect as you can walk less than a block to the beach without the very high cost of being on a beachfront property. Don’t appreciate the small of weed entering the room, was less after a couple of days. I guess a guest who smoked all day & night left! Externally the buildings looked vey tired compared to most others around.

I would call it a 5 star property, however the bed was the most comfortable bed ive slept in in 2 weeks, very low lighting near bed side creates a great ambiance. Fresh lines,refrigerator and microvave available in room and very spacious. Definitely affordable and would stay here again. Close enough to walk to anywhere you want.

Customer service is horrible and reflects the appearance of the hotel. These people deal with crack heads and homeless people at this place so there attitude for a business person is off. They treat everyone bad and there attitudes stink. The same guy working at the front desk works security too at night and actually knocked at my door at 11pm to disrupt me and threatened to call the police on me. Claimed that my credit card for incidentals didn’t go through at check in but they gave me my keys and ran my card and my bank showed the hold. Literallybanged on my door and threatened to kick me out. The incidental fee was 50$. What a joke this place is if you stay there it’s your fault
