    There were a couple of things that I complained about upon my 1st day and the staff took care of it. However, I was not informed of the shuttle service until the last day I was there from no one until the shuttle driver told me as I came downstairs to watch an Uber. I was there from Wednesday until Saturday. I wasn’t given information on the WiFi or the breakfast or dinner options. I have been to other hotels and upon Check in they give you thins information. I also asked about my room being cleaned and was told that I have to ask for it. I thought it was strange that I have to request to get my room cleaned. I was disappointed to learn all of these things later. Especially the shuttle service because I could’ve saved so much time and money had I been informed of the transportation services. That hotel is not centrally located to where you can walk anywhere you need transportation. I was very dissatisfied and will not be back there again. I’ve been to Marriotts before and never experienced this from the brand.

    Where do I even begin? This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I have had in a long time. Check in was smooth but when I got to my room the door was ajar and it would not shut upon entry. About 10 minutes later a maintenance man walks in and both of us were shocked to see each other. He said he was unaware that this particular room was being booked because the door was being fixed so it would close. He took about 10 minutes to fix the door so it wasn’t a big deal. Then there were no towels in the room whatsoever, which again, could be considered an honest mistake so no big deal. I went to the bar to order food. I was told that the food would take no more than 10 minutes due to my order being the only one in. About 25 minutes later I was looking for my food and was told it was not ready and I would be notified upon its completion. Then 50 minutes later I went back downstairs and my food was sitting in the kitchen with no notification whatsoever. This caused my evening plans to be pushed back. Then in the middle of the night at about 3:40AM the A/C in the room stopped working and we woke up in a sweat. I spoke to the manager and he made sure I was fairly compensated for the bad experience. The manager’s diligence made up a little for the experience but I can’t say that I would ever stay here again.

    The hotel was amazing with a huge pool turned into a sauna..the restaurant was super ..the rooms were high end with showers that were very high end...thet have a big snack bar..bar..and free transport to the airport...I'm coming back..

    Not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The hotel was clean with a beautiful nautical theme. The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant had a great menu although we didn’t eat there, Susan at the bar/hostess was incredible. She went above and beyond in her care and treatment of us.

    It was in a good location Our first day we had a rental car but couldn't add the parking fee to our bill; instead we had to download an app and set up an account to pay through a third party which was annoying but then it didn't even give us 24 hours and ended at 11:00 so we returned our car at the airport but then we had to wait an hour and a half for the courtesy van to pick us up from the airport and each of the 3 times we talked to them, we were given a different time and location for the pickup. The bed in our room had a platform instead of a box spring but it stuck out about 8 inches beyond the mattress and I kept hitting my heels on it when getting out of bed. The closet had a window behind it which was really weird so I couldn't get dressed where my clothes were like I usually do. When I used the bathroom during the night, the lights didn't go on and we found out through trial and error the next day that there was a random switch in the hallway that had to be turned on for the bathroom lights to work.The room had a coffee maker in it but it wasn't cleaned out so I went to get coffee in the lobby (like most hotels have complimentary) and was charged for it. The staff was overall polite but cool instead of warm and friendly except for a charming young woman working at the restaurant.

    Nice rooms, good place The parking app doesn’t work with a foreign phone number. I needed more than 1 hour (!) with help from reception to pay the fee. Not what you’re looking for on a vacation. If you don’t pay your car gets towed away!! Next time better a hotel where parking is included (not because of price, because of hassle and risk)

    This is the best hotel in Fort Lauderdale point blank. I would recommend it to anyone family friends couples definitely clean environment nice stuff good food good pool Nice Landscaping respected privacy and nice amenities as far as the gym the pool the AC's work the shower is immaculate the bathrooms are clean.

    I stayed for one night and it was great. Very close to the airport and the 6am shuttle was on time and hassle free. Room was spacious and clean. Wasnt overly noisy. Pool was nice. Very short walk to a restaurant on the marina with pretty views. Great for the price point!

    Hotel is very attractive with an open reception area and an in- house eatery which was very good. The staff were all very nice and efficient. The room was a good size and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable, the room temp was easy to adjust. The bathroom had a sliding door that was either closed in the toilet area or the shower. It was also made of opaque glass that left little to the imagination along with a large gap under the toilet area which did little to make you feel isolated from the room. There was also a similar glass panel that looked out into the room so anyone in the room could clearly see the outline/ shadow of the person showering. Definitely would not share a room with anyone but a spouse or other close person. A friend in another room had the same panel in their closet that looked outward. Very odd design choices.

    I reserved a King Bed Room - and when we checked in, they assigned my partner and myself a room with 2 full/and or Queens. Not sure why that happened. Originally I thought it was my error, but then confirmed my reservation. Made it a bit uncomfortable and a lot less romantic to squeeze into a small full sized bed with my partner on the last night of our vacation.

The bathroom was not clean at least the shower part the tiles had brown spots looks like it needed tilex Mildrew same for the sink area , also the iguanas too many !     We arrived at the hotel after our cruise in disembarked, but our room was not ready. I asked the front desk lady if she could just let us know once it was ready and she was able to get us in a few hours before the check-in time. Our room was very spacious and clean and it was great for our family of four. The staff members at the front desk were nice and accommodating and got us an Uber to the airport the following morning as the shuttle was full.

    The room was very clean. It was easy to check in. The pool is quite small, but the outdoor area is very enjoyable to relax with a drink. Unfortunately, for us, there was no hot water in the room, even after letting it run for 20 minutes so we could not take showers in the morning because it was just no hot water.

    Had to kill a huge roach and then the batteries on the door died causing me to be locked out for an extended amount of time while the worker tried to open it and then he had a hard time fixing it . I was already settled in the room and exhausted so didn’t want to move. I had to stand out in hall for awhile like a weirdo and then hold the door open and help this guy fix it after paying for the nights stay….

    The room was big! Clean and the shower was great Your staff. We had called the hotel twice. First time I was hung up on in mid sentence and called back get the name of the person who did it and it was Valerie. Second time was to order the shuttle and again, mid sentence, without warning, transferred to the shuttle guy, no warning. The front desk agent upon checking in, didn't tell us about wifi, didn't tell us the restaurant hours, if there was a pool, nothing. Just gave me our keys and said nothing. I even asked is there anything I should know and she said flatly, no. The WORST costumer service I've ever encountered at a hotel. Won't be back and I cruise regularly out of Florida

    We had a comfortable stay while needing to order a Lyft since their drivers don't start before 5:30am (our flight out was at 6am). Bar snacks and drinks were delicious, and we did go into the rather unique pool for a dip.

    We had a comfortable stay while needing to order a Lyft since their drivers don't start before 5:30am (our flight out was at 6am). Bar snacks and drinks were delicious, and we did go into the rather unique pool for a dip.

    Room was clean, more modern, and the lounge area was all new. There is no breakfast included, and we had to pay for coffee downstairs. There is a great outdoor space with a pool and if you wanted to stand outside, your room may have a small balcony. There is also a bar, but there is a restaurant by the marina within walking distance. We really are glad we stayed here.

    The hotel is undergoing a renovation from the top floor downward. When we checked in we asked the front desk clerk if she knew how far away the convention center was. Her response was I don’t have any idea. I would figure they would know some basic information. We stayed in room 404, it looked pretty nice. Found the tv wasn’t even hooked up. Shouldn’t have to figure out what wires go into what plugins to make the tv work. The overall room was nicely set up. Nice views from the windows. Did find it a bit odd that there was a huge floor to ceiling window inside the closet. We asked about where to get ice, the front desk said we had to go to the kitchen and ask for ice. Very strange. Hopefully once the renovations are complete things will be better.

    The Hotel is still under renovation, but overall, the lobby, pool, and outdoor area are very relaxing. The food is wonderful and the staff (Chanel, front desk, and Steve, the bartender) were amazing. Will stay there again for sure, and it's only 2.1 miles from the airport.

    The room is clean, but there are limited outlets. As you approach the building from the highway, you can see into the rooms and you can see mattresses stacked up against walls in some of the rooms. Make sure to get the actual shuttle because the Uber experience was negative and it cost us money on our own instead of the free shuttle as advertised. The staff is very kind. But there were mixed messages from one phone call to another around what services were available.

    Unfortunately not a great experience. I came back from work to all my makeup bags ruined because of a roof leak in the bathroom. I asked to change rooms and they did give me one. However when I went into the new room, it smelled strongly of chlorine fumes, to the extent that I had to leave the balcony open for a couple hours cause it was making me sick.

    Large room Balcony was nice Wine fridge Good bed Easy parking Black out blinds were effective but worn out. Fast internet The less than good: No coffee downstairs at 9:45AM King size bed with small pillows? They need to match pillow size the bed size. Overall tired in appearance. Needs a refresh. No electric plug near bed. In fairness, they send someone up to install and extension cord. Low water pressure and bathroom showerhead appeared to be partly blocked. No wine bottle opener in room. They made us go to the limited time open bar to pull the cork on a wine bottle. Black out blinds are in poor shape and need to be replaced. We ran out of shower gel so had to wash with shampoo.

    Weird bathroom. I usually don't complain, but the water pressure was very, very poor. There was 1 door for the shower and toilet. A sliding door to just close 1 area. And the door was hard to pull. Just kinda weird. And the balcony was small enough for 1 chair. One dirty chair. The hotel was ok for what we needed it for, but I wouldn't stay there for an extended period of time.

    My room had a balcony and the 8th floor has a terrace that looks out over the airport and skyline. The biggest negative is that you'll have to pay $3-$4 for a bad cup of coffee down in the lobby as there aren't available carafes for guests OR a worse cup of coffee in the Keurig in your room. That's a let down.

    I am very disappointed in the quality of this hotel. I had to have my room moved three times due to each room smelling of marijuanna - even though the hotel claimed to be smoke free. The second room I was moved to only had a made bed - other than that, it looked unclean. Appeared to be very run down in comparison to the pictures on website. Staff members were friendly, but it appeared that the one member was high. I would not recommend staying at this hotel and am disappointed that I have not received a refund especially since I had to book another hotel.

    The property was very nice and clean. Staff was helpful and it was quick to check in. However, the corners of the bathroom shower were moldy. This is unsafe and not a good look for the company has there been previously medical issues or sensitivities to mold.

    Our stay was good. It is advertised as a hotel on a marina but that is very far fetched. We did have a view of the air port and could watch the planes land. The shuttle service was terrible. We waited an hour on a shuttle to show up and the driver was very unfriendly. The hotel itself is nice. Our room was clean and great for couple's. The bathroom setup is very intimate. I believe it is geared more towards couples than a family stay.

    The property was dated. The fridge in our room did not work. The shades to cover the windows were simple, roll down shades that were frayed on the edges and cumbersome to open and close. They’re remodeling the restaurant and bar area so it makes shift bar was put up with places for people to sit Not exactly inviting.

    It was so filthy that it was hard to to deal with. Jason at front desk took me to see another room but warned before we went that it would not be much better. I will be posting photos as every single bit of the room fro the walls to the floor to the ceiling sink and shower were filthy. Also shade was broken and stuck at top of window so there was no relief from the sun either.

    I am completely dissatisfied with the condition of this hotel. Not only was it not as described, it was under construction, which I did not know. The entrance offered a shabby wooden threshold and the furniture in the lobby was dingy and faded! The description described a marina view overlooking the water, it was a boat yard, or in my situation, room 420 staring at the 95 freeway! And the BATHROOM DESIGN IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!! A sliding stain glass door shared with the commode! If you’re traveling with children, you can hang it up! If you’re using the toilet, the person taking a shower is directly beside you and fully exposed to anyone else in the room who may walk in or by! No ICE machine was available on the floor, but you had an ice bucket! The lime buildup on the shower head was so thick that half of them did not work! The night audit man was so lazy and unconcerned that it wasn’t worth having a conversation. The raggedy shade on the window that was described as a blackout shade looked like it had been cut out and had strings literally hanging off the sides with a cheap beaded plastic chain to raise and lower it. Had I had time, I would have immediately located another hotel, but I was late arriving for an event and had driven from Virginia. I am thoroughly disappointed in the false advertising of this property! Absolutely disgusting hotel!

    It was clean but we were misled, we were aware of renovations but were told there would be a full menu, bar would remain open till at least 10 PM , neither one was true. Extremely limited menu with just a handful of tables and chairs in middle of lobby since drapes were around the main area supposedly under construction , even though we were there 3 days and never saw anything happening. Bar closed down at 8 PM. So needles to say all 4 of us was very disappointed.

    The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation, it’s still in good condition without noise though so don’t let that deter you! It was a good spot to stay if you are just overnighting after a flight/ before a cruise at the port as it’s directly between both. Otherwise, it’s very far out from things if you don’t have a car. The shuttle service goes anywhere within 2 miles which was very helpful and the reception staff/ shuttle drivers were lovely and assisted whenever possible! If you stay here, you need to take the shuttle to Lester’s for breakfast/ lunch! Or hop in an Uber and head to YOT on the marina!

    Not sure what all the other reviews were so upset about. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming! Cari at the front desk was pleasant and super helpful! Angie at the bar/dining area was great! Yes there is some renovations going on but are you spending time in the room or lobby? Our room was clean and modern and we loved the sliding shower door and partition curtain in the shower! Only downside is there isn’t really anything near it but it’s close to the airport! Would stay again

    What food they provided in the Restaurant was very good Monday to Saturday, but the same food was terrible on Sunday. The Sunday cook was not good. There was no where else to get food except to have grubhub every time. They had snacks at the desk for lunch because there was no lunch menu. We flew in to join a cruise so we had no way to go further afield.

    This hotel did not hold the Marriott standard. The rooms were in poor repair and not very clean. My door had the be forced close to latch the balcony door was not locked when I came in and I am not sure it ever really locked. The smell of cigarette smoke was ever present and coming in through the closed patio door. The rooms were loud not only from the outside but from the two rooms next to mine. The lobby had privacy curtains up iv locking off multiple areas. At check out the manager and a new employee struggled for several minutes to get me checked out and then followed up with a text message asking me to confirm my room number so they could get me properly checked out. This was just the tangibles.. I travel all over the country for business, I have experience and know how to conduct myself. That being said. I did not feel safe in this hotel. I for the first time in several years wondered seriously for my safety in my locked hotel room.

    The hotel's lobby is unfinished but it appears that it would be a nicer place once it is done. The room was spacious and the decor fits the maritime theme. What makes the room uncomfortable is the lack of privacy. You can see into the bathroom from the living space. I was there with my boys and it was uncomfortable to use the bathroom. One of the walls of the bathroom has 2 slits on the vertical sides and you can easily see inside.

    My stay at the hotel wasn’t the greatest. The dining area was very limited and felt more like a school cafeteria. The pool was small, and my room had issues—one curtain was ripped and the other was completely missing. The place was also under construction, which I wasn’t made aware of beforehand. If I had known, I probably would’ve booked somewhere else, though I’m not sure it would’ve made much of a difference. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very professional.

    The room size was good. The windows blind/curtain need to cover the sun better. It was too bright for me. The swimming pool more look like a hot tub water temperature was warm. Not for a hot day to use. The front desk and restaurant area was under construction. If you want to stay one night before your cruises or near airport it will be fine. If you want to stay more nights. This hotel nothing close by, it next to a highway. We can't walk to anything. We needed to call a car everytime we want to go out.

    We had an option to book a couple of places and we chose this one because of the pictures that were on the website. It was mentioned that there would be some slight construction, but what we saw was a joke. By the time we got there, all the other hotels were full or we would have canceled our stay. It looked like a makeshift bingo hall downstairs in the lobby, and the area set up for food and dining was laughable. There was no weight room, and the outside bar was completely shut down. Not to mention, zero privacy in the rooms. Shawty design and craftsmanship. Made it very uncomfortable because we had other guests with us and there was no privacy in the way the bathroom was designed. We had to ask us to leave the room or turn around while we try to shower or dress. The room smelled horrible. The pictures online were glossed up and Photoshop to make this place seem like it was nice. Highly disappointed. Definitely not worth the price. Felt like an upgraded Motel 6. Trying to get small compensation and management would not meet us halfway.

    2) The rooms are not well insulated from noise and therefore you can hear loud cars drag racing on the highway that runs near the hotel. The constant roar of commercial airplanes taking off lulled me right awake at 6:00am. 3) The room was dirty with hairs in the shower, cigarette burns on the furniture, and other stains here and there. The roller shade had tattered and frayed edges and was very difficult to open and close. The sliding shower glass door was also very difficult to open/close. The room #806 needed to be rehabbed. For $335/night I expected a lot nicer room.

    Just an okay hotel. Parts are under construction. The biggest reason for the rating is the bathroom. There is no privacy and the shower head didn't work. No bath tub. The only solid door, is to entervthe room. The area the the toilet is separate from the shower, but it has a frosted glass, barn-style door. The shiwer wall between the shower and room is also frosted glass. And the section around the sink isntca solid wall. So when you turn on a light to use the bathroom and everyone else is asleep, its like turningvon the sun because the light shines through all of the fristed glass room dividers.
