    I ended up not even staying here, absolutely terrible. To begin with, I didn't feel safe since the moment I arrived. Next, I entered to check in, and the staff was extremely rude to me, plus the lobby smelled horrible. When I got to my room, it stank, the towels and sheets were dirty. Furthermore the bathroom didn't even flush. I ended up not staying here and went elsewhere, with no refund.

    As the old saying goes you can't be cheap and good. So I booked an overnight stay at this property as soon as I walked in it was apparent this property was not in good shape physically. I walked to the pool landscaping was not taken care of a lot of loud children running around screaming. The lobby was not up kept I went up to check out the room it was horrible I was so tired I stayed overnight anyways. All through the night I heard loud noises from the train yard, loud cars people screaming stay away have a great day

    This room was a complete disaster. Parts of the ceiling were missing, the pillows were dirty, and the bed had a large dip in the center, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The microwave was covered in mold, the floor was dirty, the sink leaked water onto the floor, and the toilet did not function properly. The only things that worked correctly were the bathtub and the air conditioning. When I reported these issues to the front desk, I was told that this was all they could offer. Overall, the condition of the room and the lack of assistance made for a very disappointing experience.

The bathroom was not cleaned properly and appeared unsanitary. The rooms also had a bad odor and did not smell fresh at all. Parts of the room were damaged, with dented areas and rotten boards that need repair. Overall, the property needs deep cleaning, proper bleaching/disinfection, and better maintenance. Unfortunately, my experience was not good.

    There were cracks at the baseboards where several roaches entered the room. Housekeeping had to come to the room to spray and left the can of roach spray so that I could use it during the night, which I did. Also, the water fall outside my room stayed on all night, disturbed my sleep.

    You know what they say...? You get what you pay for and i believe that to be true with the room i got for $71.00 but that's all I needed at that time! The room was clean. The floor was cleaner then I had assumed bcuz I did the floor test! Fold 1 towel in have put 2 feet on each side, get some water on the floor but not to much and start moving that towel under feet like a street scrubber! Go from the shower to the bed! Then flip it over and take a looksy! You'll be able to tell right away if ur room has been taken care of or not. My towel was surprisingly not dirty!! The A/C was good. Parking was parking same old thing there. Its just that the place seemed a bit rickiddy ok. Like most of the screws were lose that was holding it all together! Thats the best analogy I can come up with for ya'll. So if these things bother you dont book a room at The Grand.

    These days, the parking lot hums with discreet activity, and colorful characters beckoning you to stop and view their goods. The forest surrounding the hotel hides a different sort of community, shadows that shift about under the branches. They are going about their business, and if you don't bother them, they won't bother you. Similarly, if ever, there was a property that was haunted, this hotel surely is. Any hotel will have a long history. Have a wide variety of people coming through in various states in their lives. Every hotel sometimes has people die during their stay. A hotel as old as this has seen many spirits pass through, but if you don't bother them, they won't bother you. Take a cash deposit. There's no reason not to... it's cash!

    The sink was also broken—water would leak everywhere and spill all over the floor whenever we tried to use it. On top of that, the room was very dirty and poorly maintained. The bed didn’t even have proper sheets—only a bottom sheet and a random blanket with nothing else. There was no bedside lamp, and the one lamp in the room was filthy. The entire place, including the outside areas, was dirty and uninviting. To make matters worse, the staff had a terrible attitude and were not helpful at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointing experience.

    From the moment I walked in, it was clear the photos online don’t match reality. The room was dirty, everything smelled like weed (including the bed sheets), and the whole place felt neglected. Something even bit me while I slept. On top of that, the environment felt unsafe with very questionable activity around the property, and the staff were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. To make it worse, I was charged an additional “service fee” with no clear explanation of what that was for, which felt completely unjustified given the condition of the stay. I was genuinely uncomfortable the entire night and thankful it was only a one-night stay. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to stay. This place needs serious attention before it should be considered acceptable for guests.

    The whole facility looked old, dirty, and unkempt. The television in the room had poor reception. Everything in the room was old and rusty. The bathroom was filthy looking and the patch work was poorly done. They have a roach problem. The paint in the hallways from top to bottom was peeling. The pictures of the property are very deceiving.

    This site did not match the advertised pictures and descriptions on Expedia at all. There were holes in the floor, soft drywall around outlets that were recessed made it unsafe to plug in to charge phones, furniture was falling to pieces and stained. Normal volume converstaions could be heard at 3 am by guests outside. Do not stay here.

    My deepest deception that I was with 2 kids, when I checked in, I found out that there’s no fridge, no microwave, no free WiFi, no free parking, just a terrible, dirty place, I was afraid anytime I came in, they didn’t describe what kind of service that they offered. The staff spoke to me normally. No issues with them, but for a kind of person like me, that was a disaster. I asked the front desk to change the room for me, she explained me that it was 4 hours after checked in, impossible. The only thing that everything was closed for me to be reached. Thanks for your service and don’t feel angry, I love to tell the truth.

    I had already shared the experience. This should be classified as motel rather than a hotel. I can’t believe Expedia will put it in their list with 4.5 stars. The photos are not validated with the actual location. I will strongly recommend not to book this place to anyone. Don’t fall for the entrance or the Lobby. Also Expedia collects upfront costs for this hotel and then the hotel charges $30 ahead per day as some sort of service tax. By the time you see your actual room you have spent the money and forget about getting refunded.

    The property is in a deplorable condition. It definitely needs renovation....our bath tub was blocked because when taking a shower its like standing in a paddle if water plus there were signs of mold around the tub and the ceiling. The floor looks dirty, the beds makes noise and the furnitures are very dated. The air conditioner works, parking was good. I definitely would not go back there or recommend. The best part of the property is the lobby area. Everywhere else looks old, dirty and disgusted.

    I was traveling w/ my disabled child,while trying to check in-the front desk clerk, RACHEL, is disgustingly more RUDE and DISMISSIVE.She remained on her phone the ENTIRE time, did NOT acknowledge me- had the audacity to make disrespectful comments about my child’s disability. That alone was unacceptable—but it got WORSE! She then informed me that my deposit would be $200 instead of the standard $100, strongly insinuating that it was because of my son’s disability.That is BLATANT DISCRIMINATION. There is no justification for treating a guest differently based on a disability, and it is a direct violation of ADA protections! I had already requested ADA accommodations in advance- not only were they not honored, but I was met with hostility and disrespect instead. I did not feel safe, welcomed, or respected in any way. I refused to stay and immediately requested a refund which was denied! To make matters even worse,the property itself felt unsafe.The parking lot was filled with people loitering in their vehicles, openly smoking what appeared to be illegal substances.There were even raccoons gathering near the room doors and entrances, which is both unsanitary and alarming.The hotel may be located right off the highway, but it sits in a dark poorly lit area that feels genuinely unsafe

    The room was filthy. Looked nothing like the clean & crisp photos they used to advertise. Only the outlets closer to the door and window worked. My first morning there I was greeted by 2 roaches, and requested a room change due to the outlets and roach situation. The front desk said there was nothing that they could do. So I said I spent money to stay here with roaches and bad outlets? There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. Walls dirty, floors filthy, room was in overall bad shape. You can hear the guests staying above you, and both neighbors. Ashamed to say I spent over 700 dollars to stay here for 4 days. Room 436 is terrible. I only booked this place because the photos and proximity to where I needed to be. I wouldn’t have stayed here. Be cautious when booking this place. Honestly, it’s terrible and probably a soon to be safety risk. No photos, I didn’t want to remember staying here.

    This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I strongly urge everybody to read the reviews because they are very accurate with the place being very ran down and not clean at all. I had someone else’s hair still on my bed, linens and towels like as if they hadn’t been washed when I was told I could get a refund through the hotel. They told me to take it up with Expedia since I booked through them, but Expedia told me the hotel declined the refund however I have spoke to the hotel multiple times and they said they agreed to refund as soon as Expedia did their part. But clearly, Expedia giving me $20 in credit for the next hotel is equal to almost $400 for two nights at a hotel. I did not stay longer than 10 minutes in the room at I will not be booking at this hotel again and I will not be using Expedia again.

    DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS DESPERATE. $350 a night was a total waste of money. Locks on doors don't lock, paint peeling in the bathroom, toilet seat looks like it from a prison, baseboards are rotten, sheets were stained and had cigarette burns all over the comforter. I booked two nights, but only stayed a few hours and slept in my clothes. The hotel backs up to the freeway off-ramp where locals are walking around in the back of the hotel. Zero security. Best of luck if you decide to stay here.

    The photos certainly do not match the hotel’s condition. This was probably the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed and honestly, had I not been with 2 other people I would not have felt safe enough to stay the night.     Absolutely awfully. The worst motel I've ever stayed at!! my flight got delayed and this was the only thing left due to spring break and so many flights delayed. The motel has nothing that it states-no restaurant, no bar, no pool.(There's a pool there, but it was absolutely disgusting and green )i paid $360 for 2 days even the employees said that's crazy cause this a $50/ night motel. I wouldn't stay there for free!! Didn't sleep, it was so dirty and unsafe police there multiple times. I checked out early!!

    Hard to describe the condition of the room. Propped chairs against doors for safety. Safety locks missing or broken on door. Paid $500CA. for one night due to airports flight cancellations . Prices for rooms were increasing by the minute when trying to secure a room. Many plugins not working. Husband slept with clothes on due to bed covering and mattress condition. No toilet paper holder in bathroom. Toilet paper roll just on the floor. Toilet seat did not match shape of toilet bowl and was dangerous to sit on.. Bare quilt with sheet on top. Broken furniture. Couldn’t sit on sofa as it would collapse in. No hair blow dryer. Light switches not work. Outer buildings poorly maintained!! Left lights on all night to keep bugs away. Seemed like a place you would rent by the hour. Had no choice as flights cancelled and only thing we could get at midnight, got there at 1:30 with no other option and room was nonrefundable. Hotels were price gouging due to circumstances. The worst hotel experience we have ever encountered. This property was very very poorly maintained and am disappointed that it is on Expedia.

    The staff is nice. I don’t think you should be able to call a motel a hotel. It’s a motel. It’s grimy. There were holes in our bedding. Just little things. No hair dryer. The dresser wasn’t usable. The elevator was broken so we either had to climb 5 flights of stairs or go all the way to the lobby and wait for that slow elevator. We were also directly behind train tracks and were woken up about 5 times a night by a loud train flying by. The pool looked clean though. I’ll give them that.

    Bad aspects: 1.The room had a strong smell of chlorine/bleach. 2. The key card didn’t work properly; you had to insert it multiple times. 3. The exterior was dirty, and the hallways were horrible with lots of water leaking from the air conditioning units. 4. The mattresses were old, and the bed sheets were broken. 5. There were stains in the bathtub, and the water in the shower drained very slowly. 6. The bathroom doors were rusty, and the paint was cheap. 7. The sofa was old with dirty covers. 8. There were exposed wires, broken outlets, and the living room lamp didn’t work. 9. There were two large old cabinets that were useless. 10. There was a microwave that I didn’t dare to use. 11. The pool looks dirty as well. Good aspects: 1. The housekeeping staff were friendly. 2. The receptionists weren’t overly friendly, but they weren't rude either. 3. It was the cheapest hotel I could find in the area. 4. There was fast food, a gas station, and a convenience store nearby. 5. They provided good toiletries like shampoo, soap, and extra tissues. 6. The room was spacious and could accommodate up to 6 people. Would not recommend it!

    The room was supposed to be a suite with a kitchen. In the kitchen were cabinets a microwave and a few plasic disposible cups. Not 1 plate, not 1 utensil no napkins or paper towels. Also no trash bags in the trash cans. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! The suite part had stained furniture, 1 chair and a sofa along with a table. Where there should have been a television on top of a huge bureau, there was just an empty space. I had to rip apart a paper bag that I had just to put my food on it to reheat something in the microwave. A TOTAL DISGRACE. I booked for 3 nights. Also the safe in the room did not work at all. After 1 night I left. The site said No Refund, I now know why. Such a total disaster of a hotel, not to mention how UNSAFE and UNCOMFORTABLE I Felt. This establishment should not be included on any site. A total NIGHTMARE and thats putting it mildly!!!!!

    The pictures displayed are not what they appear to be. The pool was dirty so nobody went in, the cabanas were not available for use and the area was closed off looking like a tornado ran through it, the rooms were outdated with rusty fixtures, the tv was small, the bed was uncomfortable, pillows and towels were limited, saw a few roaches and the staff was extremely rude. We stayed because it was non refundable but barely used the room if only to sleep. We were extremely disappointed all around! I would add pictures to prove my point but not sure how.     Some of the reviews were good ones , so we decided to book. Good location. But the rooms were outdated. Garbage cans overflowing with trash when you stepped off the elevator. Some of the machines were broken. Thought we were going to the restaurant bar on site but it was closed down. Never stated that online. The staff was just ok. We only stayed for one night.

    I drove up and there was no signage and it didn't look like the beautiful hotel I booked in a flash when I just needed a clean and safe place to sleep. I was a single female traveling alone. I got into my room and one of the 2 beds wasn't made up and the TV was on. I thought maybe I was in someone else's room and the locks don't latch like a normal door would. I went downstairs thinking the room doesn't lock and I was in someone else's room and they could walk in any moment. I asked for clarification and a new room. Security walked me up to the room, unlocked my door with the master key, confirmed the room wasn't made up properly, we got me a new room, he walked me to my new room and while doing so told me how beautiful I was

    The hotel was awful! Everything was rundown and in need of proper repair. Door to the room didn’t latch properly. Air conditioner barely worked. No hot water in the shower. Bedside lamp did not work at all. It is in a sketchy area with homeless people all around. There are train tracks right beside it so every 15-30 minutes it comes by and shakes the whole hotel and makes such a loud noise that it’s virtually impossible to get any sleep. The shower and sink did not drain properly. They advertised a mini fridge however there wasn’t one. Oh and last but certainly not least there were COCKROACHES!!!!!!!!!

    Everything was horrible from checking in to check out. The whole place is neglected and falling down and I can’t see how it would pass any kind of inspection by any health department or other departments that inspect businesses our mattress was sinking in as though it had been beat down by many hourly days there was rust and mildew on everything. The light fixtures and outlets were warped. It was like a death trap. If we weren’t in the last minute late night predicament we would have never stayed. I could go on and on with the list of things that were not OK. I would caution anyone against staying here for any reason.

    There is a banging noise going on every 30 minutes. I called the hotel staff. They said they were gonna send somebody up. Nobody came was unable to sleep the whole trip. The hotel is filthy.     Reviews weren't read prior...#1 big mistake. I tried writing a review and wasn't given enough space to describe the whole experience. This is shorter & to the point. First red flag was the 1 (only) annoyed lady at front desk dealing with multiple people by herself. She blah blah blah said what direction to go and from there it was horrible & got worse. Got lost, signage was terrible, lights flickering, security lock on door didn't work (over heard another customer complain about same issue) not 1 picture on walls (petty) adjoining door not fully closed with chair up against it, giant spring coming out of bottom of another chair (used it secure door for added security at night) not 1 hanger, rusty ironing board...no iron, baseboards in bathroom was awful, guess the stain on bed skirt, no phone. It was GROSS !! After 8 pm we reluctantly stayed, I know gross, but we were tired. Getting to Ft Lauderdale was another whole aggravating story. NOTHING GRAND about this place at all !! I have pictures for proof, will post if it allows ?? Got the hell out bright n early.

    In addition, every time the AC unit comes on it blows the curtains open which are directly above the AC unit and this window is in direct line of sight of the doorless, so called bathroom, as well as the bed!! There is obviously a lack of privacy in the room. I did not see an EMERGENCY ESCAPE PLAN posted anywhere in the room. I am not sure this is a hotel!!! Safety is obviously not a priority.

    To make matters worse, the pictures online looked nothing like the actual hotel or the room. The condition and cleanliness were completely different from what was advertised. When I entered my room, it smelled unpleasant right away. The bathroom was dirty and clearly not cleaned properly. The bedroom sheets were old and very rough. After sitting on the bed briefly, my whole body started itching, which made me extremely uncomfortable. I asked if my room could be changed, but I was told there were no other rooms available. No one came to inspect the room or even offer to change the bed sheets. For the price I paid for only a few hours, this experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here.

    Staff is nice, the facility is not good. One of the worst I have seen, and I have stayed in a fair share of hotels. A lot of hidden fees and the price listed does not reflect the total. You pay additional $26 per night, you know about this only after you book a non refundable reservation. Parking is 5 bucks per night. With all this, no heat, fridge, coffee machine or breakfast.

    This place is disgusting! Expedia should be ashamed to have this hotel listed in their app! The overall appearance was not clean at all! They charge you a 26.00 amenity fee and literally get told that she didn’t understand why because we didn’t have a microwave or frig on our room! That’s reassuring! We literally were there for maybe 7 hours because we needed a place to stay a night to get to our cruise the next day! The rooms smelled, we had stains all over the mattresses and sheets, we had two cockroaches in our room and rust spots all over! The people next door were screaming at each other and kids crying, it was so sad! Our clothes smelled after leaving that place. Let’s just say we didn’t get much sleep!! -1 star!

    The entire place was rather disgusting, the room was gross, the bulbs in the lights must've been blown as they wouldn't turn on, I didn't even shower as I was grossed out by the bathroom, the entire place smelled of cigarette and weed smoke, I got charged an extra random "service" fee of $25.99 for whatever reason, as soon as I got in the room I started to get bitten by some type of bugs, highly dissapointed. Secondly I don't think the area is any good either as I heard racing cars and airplanes all night long, which isn't the hotels fault but just another reason to stay somewhere else.

    You get what you pay for. First they have a hold on your card for over $100 it took a week to get back and was not listed on Hotel.com website .     this place was horrible, nothing like in the pictures. it didn’t have a fitness center like shown in the pictures. the night staff was rude. the rooms were very poorly maintained. we found roaches, stains on the bed/pillows, one of the beds was broken it sunk in the middle, the toilet flushed very weirdly, water pressure in the shower was horrible. the people staying around there were very loud and smoked, the elevator wasn’t working, and we heard one lady who was staying there say that when she came back into her room her bag was empty. someone stole all her belongings and the hotel said they couldn’t do anything about it.     The hotel looks nothing close to the pictures that they have on this site. The hotel looks ran down, it has roaches, the staff with the exception of one worker who checked us in was very rude. The toilet in room 516 was broken the water ran all night and when we went to the front desk to inform them that the toilet was broken they told us that they will be to fix it in the morning they did not get there until 10 minutes before we had to check out so we had to go to the lobby to use the restroom. This hotel needs to be shut down. It actually looked like it was abandoned at one point, but they did not put in the work to make this hotel presentable. Do not stay here

    This hotel needs to be shutdown permanently and fully renovated, all the things are old and outdated. Rooms are run down and in poor condition. Smells bad and have poor security and lighting. Appliances and electrical outlets needs updating and needs to be brought up to code. Smoke detectors look like it been there for 50 years.     The worst room ive ever paid for. AND a $100 deposit?!!?? For WHAT?? The 20 inch tv didn't work, toilet didn't flush, refrigerator was rusty and leaking and left the floor wet.     Upon arrival I was charged additional fees and for daily parking that had not been disclosed during booking. The lobby elevator broken and there was no signs advising guest that they would need to use the maintenance elevator behind the hotel. I was initially assigned a room that had a mirror that had fallen off the wall and displaced the baseboard. After recording and returning to the lobby pushing the loaded luggage cart, I was assigned a room that once may have been a suite. It had a small window air condition in front and in the bedroom. They were so noisy that it was very difficult to hear or sleep. The sign in the lobby stated no cooking and the fridge was unlevel and packed with ice. The door facing in the bathroom was rusty and the water pressure in the shower was a small stream. The ceiling over the shower was damaged and had visual displaced stucco that had fallen at some point. There were visible water damage on the the ceiling. The commode fillled to brim each when flushed suggesting in overflow. The room was had musty smell as well as the breeze ways. I asked if all faced the pool I was advised they didn't but was not offered a room away from the pool area. The check out desk refused to give me any documentation when I checked out earlier than anticipated and advised me that I would be checked out on Monday as per my reservation. I was told it may take 10 days for the additional room deposit to be returned to my account if there was no damage to the room

    The room was poorly maintained. Dust and dirt under the bed were visible, and the sheets and towels were gross, worn, and stained with dark spots. Housekeeping barely cleans and still charges $9 for “soiled” towels. Walking barefoot is unwise as floors are not properly cleaned. Outside, the environment is unsafe, with drug activity and visible prostitution. This is not suitable for families, pets, or decent-paying guests. Expedia should remove this listing until hygiene, safety, and management are properly addressed. 0 stars.

    The hotel was old and very outdated and needs a lot of upgrades, the grounds was not clean, the lights did not work in the street side room area so it was so dark you could not see how to enter your door key without using the light on your phone, the ice machines didn't work, there wasn't an iron in the room, they charge you a per day fee of $26 on top of your room fee when you get there and they also charge you a $5 per day fee for parking, there are people living onsite, the dining area is closed, the walls are very thin so you car hear cars driving on the interstate all night long, If you have a visitor they also have to pay for parking, their wifi is extremly slow and their TV only works when you sign into apps on the TV

    I don't know how this property is open, maybe this property never receive any inspection. Room smell to bad, dirty 100 %, considerable damage to the walls, bathroom, closet, and most importantly, front door. I felt so unsaved that I checked out at check-in time.     The owners have allowed the property to become plethora of repairs to appear with no end insight. The rooms need a serious upgrade in repairs, drywall refinishing and painting. All hardware, ( hinges, doorknobs, door locks, etc.) need serious repair or upgrades. They no longer have coffee service, or ice available to customers, no longer is there a refrigerator available. If the owners do not do some repairs soon, I feel it may become condemned.

    Room entry door severely stuck. Had to use my shoulder to get in. TV only got 4 Channels. Bathroom sink pressure had barely enough water for brushing my teeth and even so was VERY slow to drain. Room key failed to operate on day 2. I attempted to get help from a staff person who blew me off and walked away. There were 2 ice machines which were both inoperable. That was the last straw and I checked out early after 1 night's stay.

    Check in lady was rude no smile at all. The room was not what we expected! No mini fridge, rust all on the walls and floor! We didn’t even shower because it just didn’t feel clean at all. If I would have check google before booking definitely would have not stayed.. I just hope they give me back my $100 deposit within a timely matter. If I could give it stars it would get a big FAT 0

    My stay here has been terrible for me, my girlfriend, and my baby. It’s been noisy. You walk out it smells like nothing but weed and people walking around as if they live here. Everything is out of date and not up to par with the conditioning of staying here. The services here was terrible, I would ask for towels and sheets and they would act like they couldn’t help us out. They run scams with charging your card and having you pay for extra stuff that isn’t included or said online. Me and my girlfriend woke up feeling itchy and uncomfortable sleeping in the beds. We saw a roach in the bathroom and in the fridge. My stay here is a 2/10 the best thing they had was the a/c and vending machines. Also the pool and bar wasn’t even in service. Everything showed online was completely different when we came in person.

    The young desk girl would rather eat chips and text message than help a guest in line that is growing. Disrespectful inconsiderate. Pool was nasty dirty. Smelled like marijuana everywhere. Strangers holding doors open for other non guests. Observed a lady get into a car and get out minute later with bag of something in hand it was not food, something illegal

    I was on the 3rd floor, out of 5 floors, and the only ice machine was on the ground floor, by the pool. The shower had low water pressure. Basically, it was an old building and not 100% kept up.

    It was was okay for one night with reasonable price. There were no trash bags in the trash can. No ice in the ice machine. The people and music were very loud up to the midnight. Drunk people around.

    There is a loud club attached to the property that was having a rip roaring good time after 10pm. The music was so loud, with no TV it was all we could hear. Not in a great part of town. Didn’t feel safe leaving our electronics in our room while we were out. The pictures on Expedia show a very nice looking hotel, I feel like it was bait and switch. The only good thing I can say about this hotel was that the check-in staff was nice.

    No exaggeration, the place was very dirty. the condition of the beds that were in the room was very bad. This place where prostitutes handle their business. There were people all in the parking lot. Very uncomfortable. Nothing, none of the pictures on the website reflect the actual place in person. It's NOT A HOTEL, it's more like a motel. I didn't not stay even though we arrived passed 10:00pm. They still changed us for one night. And all of the other hotels within 15, 20, 30 miles we're all booked for the night. we did not find anything until 3 in the morning

    This place was a dump. No top sheet in the bed. We requested one and were told that was the way they make the beds - without a top sheet. Just a rough blanket and a thin white thing on top of that. The greeting staff was not unfriendly but very dismissive. It was as if we were bothering her in just being there to check in. We immediately cancelled and moved to the Marriot down the street. A world of difference, and no smell of pot smoking or dudes with loud music playing wandering the halls. I also watched over the balcony where I was going to park my car, how someone was scoping out a car with a flashlight to see what was inside.

    Absolutely zero money is going towards maintaining or improving this property. You get what you pay for. At least there wasn't a pest problem (roaches, rats). It's all a sign of bad business principles and bad management. The bed was saggy. The pillows were clumpy and inconsistent. The bed sheet was on top and the blanket was underneath. The vending machines were difficult and didn't always work. But look, if you don't mind stuff like this, it's worth the price compared to other nearby hotels. Just know that this is a outdoor room entry type of motel, and so that always attracts drug addicts and smokers. The clientele were dubious to say the least. If you're a tough guy, you'll be alright. But I don't recommend this place to families or vulnerable persons. So, bottom line is, it served it's purpose for me, I slept, showered, did my business in town, and that's it. But you should be very careful choosing this place. Know what you're getting yourself into.

    Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars, then I definitely would. Walked into the lobby and it looked like an average hotel lobby but when we walked into our room it was really disappointing... The room had a really strong smell of bleach and the smell didn't go away. The room itself looked unproperly cleaned and my daughter saw a few ants crawling around on the ground. There was also 2-3 cockroaches in our room which was pretty gross... Not only that but compared to the photos we saw the room looked old and rusty. We could also smell weed outside the hotel rooms which was pretty unfortunate due to the fact this place is supposed to be family friendly... Overall in my opinion for the amount of money they charge for the hotel which to be honest is more of a motel than an actual hotel the price is NOT worth it. I would not recommend this place for the price and don't plan on coming back soon

    Hotel was right beside a train station that ran all hours of the night, ask front desk for a towel or floor bath mat because there wasn’t one in the room, never did get one after being told a couple times they would send one up. One of the elavators seemed as if it was going to fall through the floor. It was hard to get in and out of the parking lot

    When booking this for my family of 4 while traveling we did like that it would come with a mini fridge so we could have some cold drinks that we brought along. There was a spot where a mini fridge once was but it wasn't there any more. There was one lady up front that was blunt and not overly welcoming. When getting to our room, the key didn't work right away which isn't the end of the world but you would expect it to work after a few swipes. When getting into our room the beds were more like double beds than queen beds which we paid for. While it is in the fine print I didn't expect to have to pay for parking while spending $350 to stay for two nights. I had to request towels for our room because there was only one towel. They did get the towels right away to us but then the next day they once again only provided one towel when cleaning when we obviously could have used some new fresh towels. Overall I have booked with Expedia many times and never expect top tier when travelling but this was probably way below what I would consider fair for the money. You are right next to a highway and you can hear everything going on outside through the door. On top of that while we did have air conditioning the thing sounded like it was going to blow up when it was running which made sleeping not very enjoyable. I spent a third of the price on the way back home after our trip on a hotel in the middle of nowhere and the place was amazing, I will look close next time in Ft Lauderdale

    A horrible and disgusting place, the lobby and parking lot were full of riff raff and suspicious characters and there was a long line at the front desk even at night. Every staff member I interacted with had a nasty attitude and seemed utterly miserable. The floor in the room was slimy. The tv in the living room area had clearly been stolen. The AC in the bedroom didn’t work. I’d rather sleep in my car than ever stay here again. Not safe for families. Not worth the price. Stay literally anywhere else, your nervous system will thank you.

    First off let start from the beginning at the front desk was very rude and sassy without noticing that I have a problem for hearing and following directions she got very aggressive when I asked her to repeat the instructions back to me because I didn’t understand some of the info online and also where the room was she saw me I was lost and couldn’t get me or follow me to try or even guide me to the room. That’s not cool also the room was very quiet but the ac was very poor it couldn’t get any hotter in my room I was rolling in bed all night. The bathroom need ALOT MAINTENANCE and sheets were dirty so nope I would like request my money back
