My kids and I loved this hotel !!! So clean, close to beach, enjoyed the amenities. 2 free alcoholic beverages per day and the $17 meal credit. We ate breakfast/lunch in the restaurant on site. Food was amazing. Booked the ocean view room and it was beautiful!! Can’t wait to go back

I booked an oceanview room and they gave me a partial oceanview room for the first night but then I went to the front desk the following morning and she fixed the issue and switched me to the oceanview room, she said it was a human error and it was great she moved me. Great hotel!

I was just here 2 months ago and friends of mine wanted to go to Fort Lauderdale, FL. I immediately booked us all at the Oceanside courtyard Marriott. Everything was great. The ladies at the front desk do a fantastic job. (Beautiful nails as well) LOL. We will be back.

My room smelt like smoke upon arrival after traveling for 12 hours prior I was too tired to let the front desk know. Took security deposit.

When we went to the front desk to ask for help, the staff told us there was nothing they could do and that we just had to wait. I stayed awake the entire night waiting for someone to come fix the air conditioning, but nobody ever came. It was already 4:00 AM, then 5:00 AM, and still nothing was resolved. The water finally came back around 8:00 in the morning, after an entire night of inconvenience, discomfort, and no sleep. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotels.com indicated this hotel can sleep five people and allowed us to book five people. This is not so. There is no room at this hotel that will sleep five. Luckily, we are normal sized humans and were able to sleep three in the king bed and two in the pull out.

The resort was in the center of everything! My ocean front view was beautiful! My breakfast came out cold, but they were able to correct it and bring me a fresh breakfast

Rooms were clean had an ocean view, only problem we had ourc1st room AC was not working, but the staff accommodated us quickly..They even called a service man to come to the room and he was at the door within 15 minutes when we were packing up and moving to new room .. Can't really speak of anything I disliked ..

I was unable to access the internet from my room. I checked with the front desk who put me in contact with the IT department. unfortunately after a half hour of trouble shooting they were unable to resolve the problem. I ended up having to do my work at the pool.

We loved the location- close to the airport and cruise terminal, right on the beach, within walking distance to playgrounds, restaurants, etc. We loved that 2 chairs were available for us to use on the beach, as well as towels. Welcome drinks from the bar were also a nice surprise! Breakfast from the restaurant on site took 45 mins for bacon and eggs (not room service- we were seated at the restaurant) and only 3 or 4 orders were ahead of us. We almost had to forfeit our food to catch our uber. I would avoid this place if you can.

I had to get a new room key because we accidentally left them in the room, and it took over 30 minutes to get- with 4 people infront of me. The front desk staff was not very polite- seemed as if they were always in a bad mood. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean, the food was good ( but very very expensive ) and it’s close to the beach. - 2adults/2kids dinner was $145 - they offer chairs on the beach for guests ( $30 extra if you want an umbrella) - pool is small - not much around the hotel as far as dinner options - check in……it’s gonna take a while! And don’t plan on getting a room before 4pm.

On the second day, I went back to the front desk to report a very loud vent in our room. The noise was constant and disruptive. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with was not helpful at all. Instead of offering a solution or even showing concern, he dismissed the issue and made it seem like it was normal, which made me feel uncomfortable and not taken seriously. At the very least, I would expect staff to either help resolve the issue or clearly explain what’s causing it and whether anything can be done. Better communication and a more attentive attitude would make a big difference in the guest experience. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations, mainly due to the lack of helpfulness and professionalism from the staff.

Room was not ready at 4:00 due to busy season, they should allow those impacted by late check in to have an extra hour or so on the day that they checkout to make up for that inconvenience. Hotel was excellent and well-maintained with nice bar in view of the beach in good location. Check-in and checkout seemed understaffed with very long (30 min+) lines

Corner oceanfront room has awesome views....Pool area and bar r very nice...the pool was freeeeeeeezing.

Great location and the room was clean, new and comfortable with amazing views! Parking was a little pricey. Bar outside was not fully stocked and that was a little disappointing. Mattresses were okay. Plenty of pillows! I would stay here again!

You cannot check in before 4pm. There’s no lobby to sit in while you wait. If it’s raining the check in area is just filled with people standing around with nowhere to go. The pool is very small. The hotel rooms were soooo tiny. We booked for 5 people and they only had sleeping arrangements for 4. Desk people less than friendly. The only good thing about this place is the seafood restaurant across the street. And ocean view. We will not be back.

Love the location and it’s a beautiful resort. The bed was horrible. The mattress sunk in the middle and very uncomfortable for an extended stay.

Location, staff and people there They add automatic 18% tip. The breakfast you have to order with cashier and the coffee is served in the paper cups which is like getting it in fast food places. We ended up in places with real service.

Proximity to the beach, property was clean, good food options We kept getting charged multiple times a day, like close to 2 thousand dollars worth. We went to the front desk to fix it halfway through our stay, then it started happening again. Couldn’t be fixed before we left either, so hoping it will be sorted in the next day or so.

The hotel room was nice but the staff was not friendly. They told us they would let us know when our room was ready and they didn’t. Their app to order dinner would not let us order fries and the chips were gross. At breakfast they didn’t give us bacon with our meal. The tots meal didn’t have any chives and condiments. The meal was expensive and the food was cold. Don’t eat at their restaurant. They have you utensils that were cheap plastic that would not cut the food. I would not recommend eating at their place. $15 for three pancakes. The beach was the best part.

This hotel does NOT HAVE HEATING IN THE ROOM. The hotel had air conditioner set at 50*.. We were FREEZING The entire time, had to ask the staff for blankets. The hotel parking attendant drive around in our cat whole it was supposed to be parked. The parking attendant RUDE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS GARBAGE HOTEL

Beautiful place for a vacation

We had a terrible 3 night stay at this property. Kept awake ALL 3 nights (until close to 5 AM) by a large group of spring break college kids in the rooms around us. I spoke directly with the perpetrators, but to no avail. So the second night I walked down to the lobby at 3:50 AM and spoke to the front desk attendant and asked to file a formal complaint. Security came up and spoke to those involved. Unfortunately this continued for the remainder of our trip. I again went to the front desk and the attendant told me that a manager would call me to discuss the complaint. Surprise! I never received a call. My advice would be if you are traveling to Ft. Lauderdale in March, save your money and stay at the Snooze Motel right down the street. Marriott may have comfortable beds, but if you can’t sleep, who cares?

Nice day stay followed by an unexpected stay due to a flight cancellation. It shamed us from a night sleeping in the airport. We had an ocean view for the day stay and a harbor view for the night. Both rooms were very nice.

Ocean not visible from a “suite with king bed ocean view” payed extra for ocean view and was looking at a parking lot. Concierge said that all rooms with a king bed are on the sides of the hotel with no view of the ocean. Only double queens have view of ocean. Seemed incredibly misleading to me and upset I paid extra for ocean view

We love this hotel due to its proximity to the beach. They also have recently renovated and the upgrades are lovely.

The room was very clean, the ocean view from the pool as well as the harbor view from our room were both stunning. Everything you may want is within walking distance. Valet was fantastic.

Took off one star because the breakfast WE paid $40 per day extra with our reservation, only included the choice of two $15 sandwiches, coffee or juice when there were several more items on the menu that could easily be included …. not to mention the added $11 hidden service tax we paid on top of the $40 so in fact our sandwich breakfast was $51 which is crazy. Kind of a big misleading issue unfortunately because it is a great little spot!

This was our first time staying here and it’s definitely going to be our go to every time we’re in Fort Lauderdale! Very clean, newly renovated, smells brand new. Easy access to las olas, quick to get an uber, beach is excellent. Very quiet and laid back! Highly recommend.

The washer & dryers were broken . The pool bleached everyone of our bathing suits . & none the less they did not inform you that there would be construction going on right outside ur room . Starting at 7am . I’m very upset about this . I spent more money on parking than I did on the car to rent it .

Lovely hotel with a very friendly staff. They let us check in way ahead of the check in time, which was truly appreciated. Very comfortable bed and the size of the room made us feel like we are in the apartment and not a room. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to others.

The property was very clean and updated with easy access to the beach across the street and valet parking.

It was a good location. It was very expensive to park at our own hotel. For that reason I will not stay there again and would not want friends or family to pay what I did also!!!! And the Valet waiting time was terrible when I could see my own vehicle 50 yards away. Food was overpriced

The view, Location, room were wonderful during the day. You have the ocean view on one side and the intercoastal with beautiful houses and boats on the other side. If you have a car be prepared for the $55 valet parking per day. Also, if staying on weekends or holidays at night a lot of young people are walking around and driving around with loud music and smoking pot. The smell was terrible. We did not eat on the front beach road because of it. Fort Lauderdale needs to do something about that. When you are paying $200,300,400 a night you should be able to walk the sidewalks at night n peace.

Please everyone, please don’t stay in room 203. See another reviews about that room. You won’t be able to sleep because the noise of the ventilation system even if you shutdown your AC system. Other issue: parking is $55.00!! And it is managed by another company.

There were no in-room microwave, so having any leftovers were a waste or you had to go by the reception counter to heat your food, then take it back up to your room to enjoy it. I think that for the price of the room and required Valet $20d/$50on, that it should have a in-room microwave.

This is our third time staying at Oceanside Courtyard Marriott, the first time after the remodel. The remodel was such a nice surprise and really gave the property a resort feel! The staff was amazing, the room and biew was beautiful. Location to the beach, shops and restaurant was fantastic!

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel for competitions taking place at the swimming all of fame which is just across the street. Hotel is very clean and close to many amenities. It's been recently renovated and we finally had access to the pool. It could be a bit bigger with more chairs but not detrimental for me returning to this hotel.

Stayed many times. Hotel is nice and clean and a great location to the beach, restaurants and bars.

We stayed here for a gymnastic tournament and weren’t expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. Super nice hotel with good gym and restaurant, even a beach service. Perfect location for families with teens, walking distance to volleyball and tourist spots

Fantastic location. Very clean And hospitable customer service. Definitely would recommend this hotel for those wanting to be walking distance to the main strip, literally steps to the ocean. The only negative is that the AC in our room did not work properly it was uncomfortable sleeping at night but we didn’t complain

Cons: Beach chairs are available and included. However, on day 1 we got our 4 chairs that the attendant assigned to us, he marked them with our room number. We left our stuff on the chairs and went for a swim. After swimming we returned to our chairs and other people were sitting on our chairs and they had thrown all our stuff on the sand. When we complained to the attend and he seemed afraid to question them and said he would give us other chairs instead. But the problem was that the other people threw our stuff all over the sand. In other words, why is there an attend assigning chairs and marking them with a tag with your room number if he is going to allow other people to come and sit wherever they want anyway? Overall, the place was great and we will likely return on a future trip.

The hotel was clean amd the room was comfortable. Parking fews were outrageous at $55/day valet service. In addition they charge a non-optional $34/day destination fee. I did not know thiswhen I booked the room on expedia.

I booked this location for it's proximity to the beach prior to my cruise. My room was gorgeous and the hotel, they said had just been remodeled This was also the caveat because it ended up with a 34 resort fee that they said was because of the upgrades. This fee came with access to several perks most of which were not good for me due to the length of our stay but otherwise would have been tolerable had I known about them in advance. The access to the beach was great. The cost of drinks at their bar was high especially when I had to ask my husband if he'd gotten me a mocktail instead. Check in was easy and the front desk attendant was friendly and kind. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

This hotel has been recently remodeled and its location is the best if you want to be on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. You can walk and find good restaurants.

The property was good. It was under construction while we were there which was slightly inconvenient but not bad. But the more alarming part was that when we got there we were told there was “parking available” what we weren’t told is that it was available for $50 a day. Which added another $300 to our trip that we weren’t planning on. I just wish the would have been more upfront with the fee.

Great looking forward to rebooking

This was our second year staying at this hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint! The entire place is nice and very clean, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were so many great amenities available, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We truly felt comfortable and well taken care of. We will definitely be returning again! Highly recommend!

Their valet mistakenly loaded my luggage into another customer’s vehicle which they were holding for me until my flight departed later in the day. When the customer was made privy to it, she called the front desk to notify them. She did so 5 hours before my flight. The front desk failed to notify the valet of their mistake, as the valet stated they could have driven to the person’s home and picked up the luggage before I left for the airport. I had documents and private financial information in the suitcase. Marriott was nonchalant about the whole thing and refused to compensate saying they are not liable.

This is my go to place when I come to Fort Lauderdale a few times a year. The location is great, I love going to Coconuts right across the street and it’s within walking distance all down the boulevard. The staff are super helpful and friendly and they have done major renovations and all the rooms are beautiful as well as the pool area.

Nice property with recent renovations. Staff very personable and happy. Near by food choice's with beach access from hotel just a few steps away. If you are driving keep in mind this property is Valet only at $55 per day.

Great location. Was a little surprised by the destination fee but it came with cool perks. Only downside is bar/cafe closed too early. They even closed when there was an active paying crowd during a championship game.

The best property I’ve ever been to. My spouse and I enjoyed this vacation in a lovely suite to celebrate my birthday. The staff was so polite and respectful and provided us with anything we needed. The gentlemen who always greeted us at the door were the kindest people we’ve ever met. This is definitely my top rated vacation ever and we plan on returning very soon!!!

really lovely hotel with convenient beach access and fast 24-hour valet parking. it felt very safe, despite being in a busy area. every staff we came across was really friendly. we booked a suite that was spacious, with a very chic bathroom. we also got free beach chairs/towels with the stay which was a plus, as it would have been expensive to rent if you also wanted a beach umbrella. loved this hotel, already planning on re-booking for my next trip.

Everything was really nice I would have gave 4 stars for everything expect the staff always had an attitude and also they don’t tell you about all the fees you have to pay. I was charged 34 a day just to use the pool, Wi-Fi and if I wanted to go to the bar or to there little cafe. I don’t understand that if I am paying for the room the pool and Wi-Fi should come with the hotel. They also charge you 75 a night for any possible damages or room service you get.

We visited May 2025 right after the new renovations and construction. However, that did not take away from the property. We loved all of the upgrades! It’s a beautiful place very convenient to almost anything on a beach front!

Access to property amenities and other facilities

Front desk staff were not that friendly. Parking charges are too high. I was charged $75 for a 12-13 hours stay. Extra charge just because I retrieved the car after 1 hour of standard check out time.

The hotel is in the process of remodeling. Looks great. I was not aware of the $34 per night resort fee before booking. There is a $17 credit per day if you purcase a food or drink purchase of more than $17 per day. The fee also inclused 2 beach chair rentals so I am not complaining just letting everyone know. Parking is only by Valet and since I had rented a SUV...my total for only staying 2 days was $145.84 including parking fee, service fee and sales tax. Steps away from the beach and Bubba Gump shrimp is located right down stairs so you can't go wrong.

Great location. Everything was perfect but we were missing the option of having coffee and water available in the lobby. The front desk staff was amazing. The breakfast which we paid with the room was great but the restaurant staff could be more friendly. Also we got charged for the breakfast at the checkout when I checked my receipt but that was fixed, just waiting to see if the charges were reversed on my credit card.
