Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, and cleanliness. However, there are several complaints about maintenance issues, such as worn-out carpets, stained walls, and cockroaches in some rooms. Some guests also mention problems with water pressure and Wi-Fi.

I would not book this or any other property through expedia and this is my last booking through expedia. Upon arrival and check in I found they were holding a three room reservation for one night and I had only reserved one room and had my printed itinerary for one room as proof. Not wanting to be billed for three rooms I asked to cancel to, but told that could only be done through expedia. The desk staff was helpful and accommodating through a 45 minute phone ordeal with expedia. Expedia wanted the Itinerary numbers for all three bookings. I had only one and gave it to them. The hotel uses different reference numbers, had one tied to my Itinerary but no Itinerary number for the other two. The clerk gave me those numbers which I gave to the expedia representative who informed me she had no access to those numbers, but needed itinerary numbers. She did call the hotel while I was standing there, the hotel gave them all the reference numbers and was informed they needed itinerary numbers. I told expediat that if three charges appeared on my card, I would report two as fraudulent. The clerk gave me all the reference numbers she had and contact information for her and the manager in the event that I was charged for three rooms.

It being right on Ft Bragg is convenient for division week. It could better breakfast and common areas. It would be nice to have a covered outside area for groups to hang out.

Great price, friendly staff and clean comfortable room.

First of all, this property is on Ft Bragg, so unless you're in the military, a DOD civilian, retired veteran, or card-carrying family member of a veteran, you'll need a visitor's pass to stay here. I had a suite with a queen bed and a pullout couch. The room was really nice; there was a separate kitchen and living area; the kitchen had a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, toaster, and coffee pot. There's enough counter space and cabinets to prepare meals; there's plenty of space for a hot plate or air fryer. The Commissary is right across the street. There was a tub/shower combination in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of closet space. Nice-sized TV on the wall in the living room as well as in the bedroom. Complementary breakfast is available, and it is pet-friendly. The only problem that I had was that the ice machine on the first floor was out of order.

The staff is beyond friendly and helpful! Rooms spacious and clean. Property had a grilling area where we were able to grill out and have a semi homemade meal. A bonus is the adorable cats!
- 1.5/5
I had to get a new access card to the room every single day. Moreover, I was moved to a different room because the door scanner was defective and no way to get into the room. The water wouldn’t drain in the tub. Clear plumbing issues.

Absolutely perfect! Loved the cat! Great staff and clean rooms. Very quiet! Right next to the PX and Commissary

It was a nice comfortable place and I appreciate the Fort bragg and the landmark. It was a little difficult to get access to public transportation
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable. The facilities were clean and the breakfast options were great. It was also a convenient location and being able to check out later than most places was wonderful! I had sent a request to get into our room sooner since we had an event. We got there at 3 and the room was not ready

Very well kept up. Clean rooms, lobby, kitchen areas. Great breakfast staff and helpful housekeeping staff.

Easy access, comfortable room, ample breakfast The towels! Not enough and too small.

Night Staff was incredibly rude. I called she immediately said. Can I put you on hold. I said ok. I wait 20 min. Nothing. I hang up. Call back she answers this time. I explain I reserved but put to pay at property due to unsure of timeline. I had a 9 hours drive and it was going to be extremely tiring. I say. I can keep driving. I said to please cancel. She said no. And proceeded to want to charge me TWICE. Two nights I was not going to be there. Besides it being policy or whatever. Showing some empathy to people goes a long way.

I stayed for 2 nights visiting family that live on base. The hotel is located on the Fort Bragg Army base and it's very basic. My room did have a mini-fridge, microwave and a small coffee maker. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure is non-existant, unfortunately. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially the gal that works in the breakfast area. They do offer a bare-bones continental breakfast. Lots of TV channels to choose from. As long as your expectations are not high, you'll be fine. The hotel itself is quite dated and they are doing some remodeling. Not sure if I'd stay there again but it wasn't terrible.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. No hand soap and even worse the AC never cooled the room. But for the AC we would have stayed there again.

- 4/5
Overall I can only give this a 3 star rating. It says free WiFi but if you tried to join from 321, it says you must get closer. Obviously that won’t work while in my pjs. Room bathtub was rusty. Beds were decent and appeared good. Ice machine on 2nd and 3rd floor were both out of order and you have to go down to the lobby to get ice. Breakfast is made to order waffles and other protein options were frozen breakfast sandwiches.

This was my 3rd stay at the Landmark. I choose to stay at this on base because when I visit my son stays there with me rather than his barrack. Sometimes he has a few things he needs to do during the week and this makes it quick so we don’t miss time together. It’s not fancy but it’s clean, reasonably priced, safe, and has suites with more rooms and kitchenettes if needed. Laundry room is also nice for him to get his done with better machines and never a wait like at the barracks. Free breakfast is also great if your soldier wants to sleep in but you’re hungry. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The lower price allows me to stay longer than I pricier hotel as well as less than some off base hotels in some questionable areas. N/A

I have stayed here before and I want to be clear; THIS HOTEL IS ON A MILITARY BASE! if you don't have base access don't book here!!! This Hotel is convenient if you have business on base. It's a bit older but clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is also close to a 24hr gate, so it is easy to get in and out of Bragg at any time.

Super quiet. I didn't hear any noise in the hallway or from neighbors. It was very convenient to stay on the base. Many breakfast options were wrapped in plastic. The hard boiled eggs were cold. The yogurts all had sugar. It would be good to have some healthier and warm options, such as nuts, plain yogurt and warm hard boiled eggs.

Staff, super friendly and supportive of guest needs and aware of climate. Room was very standard and mediocre and normal for a military hotel. A deep cleaning I would recommend be done to the room. definitely things missed on the floor under the bed and around the baseboard. Lamp and wall outlet stopped working in the middle of the first night. Lightbulbs did not need to be changed. And for whatever reason the alarm clock was still functioningChecked out early from property.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Where to start, 1st room - Carpet was worn out with stains everywhere, the bathroom wallpaper was falling off the wall as well as the popcorn covering on the ceiling. The shower/tub had rust around the overflow fixture as well as the drain and mold in the corners. The kleenex dispenser in the bathroom was falling out of the vanity and full of rust. But to make matters even worse was that fact that the room and I'm sure other rooms as well had cockroaches. They moved us to the third floor and the other side of the hotel for the night. So now for room #2. Same situation with the carpet as room #1, the bathroom shower/tub not much better, no water pressure in the shower, toilet not bolted to the floor so it moved around freely, rust around fixtures holding bathroom mirror to the wall. TV reception would pause every 10 - 15 seconds for a couple of seconds which made it very annoying to watch. So in conclusion this is one hotel that we will never stay at again and one that I would recommend to stay clear of unless a very poorly maintained bug infested place is your thing. If so then you would have a gem of a place to stay.

This was a weird experience. When making the reservation, I did not read far enough into the description to note that the hotel is INSIDE Fort Bragg. This presented some unexpected ... and awkward ... moments, especially when I pulled up to the security gate and had to explain that I had a reservation at this hotel. They let me in with no problem, but when I attempted to return to the property later after leaving it for dinner, the guard there did not want to let me back in, stating that I should have registered my driver's license at the visitor's center, adding "they told you wrong." Fortunately, he reluctantly let me in anyway. This did not reflect well on the security procedures at the Fort. Once in the hotel, the room was perfectly nice ... no issue there. But another extremely odd thing was that the landscaping immediately adjacent to the hotel (lawns, flower beds, kids' play area in center courtyard, etc.) were completely untended and a mess. The lawns appeared not to have been mowed all season, and were completely overgrown; clearly no effort at all had been expended to keep the grounds even close to attractive. Especially odd, since all the neighboring buildings' lawns were neatly mowed and tidy. This property seems to be treated by the Fort as a nuisance, an afterthought. While the room was fine, I would not recommend this hotel ... or the experience, for anyone not expecting to go onto a military base ... to either a civilian or a member of the military.

The Inn provides a good value for the price. A little rough around the edges, the property could use a re-hab, but the price is right. The on-base location is very convenient. Laundry service is convenient and the price is reasonable. The work-out room is a bit sad, really needs improvement. Staff was great.

The ONLY hotel staff wearing them were HOUSEKEEPING ONLY ONES. I cjose this hotel with the idea that it was on post so rules were going to be followed. Very disappointing.

We never made it into the hotel. Please READ the details on where this hotel is and how to get access to it. If you are not in the military you will need a permit which is obtained at the Visitors center (they close at 9pm sharp!) but what hotels.com does not tell you clearly is that everyone in your group staying in that hotel needs to be a US citizen, not just the person requesting the permit. Unfortunately, only mu husband is one, so we were denied entry and still charged for the night as it was past 4pm. We presented our complain to both the hotel and hotels.com but all we got was $50 coupon after a long online chat.

As others have said, you’ll need to get a military ID (which I have) or obtain a visitors pass for Fort Bragg to get onto post - the hotel is just inside of the gate. If you’ll need a visitors pass, do yourself a favor and plan ahead for the kind of documents they’ll require. Military installations are strict when it comes to access.

The front desk woman gave me two different key cards to a room she knew that the lock mechanism might be inop. It was about as far from the front desk as it could be…a very long walk. No luggage cart. When I came back THE SECOND time after I was unable to get into my room she couldn’t muster an apology. Like. “ I’m sorry for the inconvenience.” Even after admitting she was aware of the possible door problem. It was ridiculous. She says her script and that is it. ZERO customer service acumen.

I felt safer being on a military base plus I was there to see my son anyway. Perfect location for my weekend visit.

The hotel is older but very nice, the room was clean but on the day I checked in housekeeping walked right in without knocking, I brushed it off to early check in. On my final day I had the double lock where door still opens but not fully and AGAIN someone walked in without knocking and announcing. Thankfully I was dressed but management needs to talk to staff about common hotel courtesy.

So so accommodations. Clean but old. Would not rate as my favorite place to stay.

This property is in a military post, be careful with the instructions to get in. Expedia doesn’t warn of this situation, just a discrete announce in small sentence at the end of the check out.

Very clean / great breakfast / you may need a pass since hotel is located inside a Military base, you may have to drive few miles to their welcome center, which a Nuisance.. other than that place is good !

Hotel was decent. It is within the Fort Bragg base that requires clearance. Nothing terrible, but you should go to the American Visitors Center first before going to the hotel. You need proper identification and vehicles require their current registration and insurance.

Felt very safe and staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were cery clean

Might want to warn people before they confirm booking you must have military ID since hotel is on base!

We did not realize it is LITERALLY in teh middle of Fort Bragg therefore we needed passes to enter the base. It was not something we were prepared for however it all worked out and everyone was nice and helpful. You need photo id for EVERYONE and vehicle registration to get a pass. Know your SS# too. Again, not a huge problem but we did not know it was gong to be needed. Small hurdle.

I love that it was in fort Bragg. It would be nice to know that you need a pass from the visitor center before your can enter, but it didn’t take long to get one and come back. The staff was super friendly even with a busy weekend with Spartan race coming to town keeping them very busy! I will be back and with my son so her can check out fort Bragg.

Hotel should have explained they were inside a military base. We were never allowed to go through the military check in because my wife’s driver license expired 5 days ago, although I was driving.

Working on base and location was great. Felt very safe about surroundings, plenty of parking, hotel quiet, comfortable bed, room on ground floor and short distance from great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were always greeted when coming in or going out. Made sure we had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. The young man that checked us in was so nice and made sure we knew how to get to our rooms plus pointed out other things we needed to know.

Enjoyed our stay! Staff is over the top nice. Could use a little more on the breakfast bar but that’s about it.

Great price for a clean room. Nice playground for kids, plenty of parking, breakfast included. I've stayed here before, and will stay again. Also, my room had a brand new mattress which was nice.

I could not ask for more, reception through check out was great. Your in a secure base and close to everything. Only thing missing is a swimming pool. Great price, location and service. Could use repairs and a better upkeep.

I liked that it was on post away from the riff raff of society and near a commissary and Exchanges for the military. What I didn't like was that to take a shower I had standing water because of poor drainage, same with the sink. Changing channels on the tv was slow and ponderous. Cheap toilet paper that was horrible extremely low budget. You could say that for the TV as well.

It’s a bit outdated / air conditioning was extremely loud
