I booked the motel because Hotels.com showed a hot tub at this location.'t When I arrived and asked about it I was told they didn't have one. That was the only reason I booked it.

Comfortable bed Onr front desk staff and 2 others working there were chatting relaxing towards pool side of lobby as I waited at desk. Once she and the other 2 arrived at the desk they lingered a bit but checkin staff member didn’t greet me. wasnt friendly and didn't smile at all but was very jovial etc with the 2 other staff members. Im really not sure if it was that im caucasian and the 3 of them were African american. It was odd and unprofessional to say the least. Years ago when using this hotel, all white and black staff were friendly and personable. Perhaps some additional training or clear expectations should be addressed to prevent this experience from affecting other customers.

That it was pet friendly and rooms were spacious. Bathtub was peeling and very uninviting. The sofa was drab.

The property is updated and in good condition. My room was on the first floor which is considered the traveling with pets rooms. There was no trace of pet scents in the room or pet damage to the room. The furniture was comfortable although it looked well used and some stains are evident. The kitchen area was clean and the appliances worked well. The refrigerator was not small as in the normal microwave and fridge items in non kitchen rooms. It and the other appliances were clean. I would stay again but since I had no pets and it was late would have preferred a non pet room since do t have a pet, which desk asked me about, I would not accept another “traveling with pets” room. When we walked down the hall you could hear the pets barking in their rooms but once inside our room there was no barking heard at all. We’ll soundproofed.

I gave it four stars because they was a five dollar parking fee that’s charged on the credit card you leave for incidentals I was not aware of the parking fee. Location was good easy to get back on I95 The smell of the hallway and rooms was very strong. Caused my asthma to attack my lungs.

Great layout Paid twice but I think it was my fault but I'm surprised they didn't notice that they took the money out of my account from separate weeks, Make sure if you going to pay at the hotel pay at the hotel. Do not pay in advance because if you pick that option that you going to pay at the hotel but you pay a week before they will charge you twice

The room was out dated and not super clean.. there were stains on the sleeper couch but we put a sheet over it so it worked out. The continental breakfast was awesome! I would go back there for the breakfast alone!

The room was like a little apartment. We traveled with a 2 year old and there was enough space for her to play and run around. The bathtub was a plus. We gave her a bubble bath. It was so far the best stay on our road trip!

Location. Spacious Fridge was noisy. Made jolting noise every 10-15 mins. I didn’t notice til middle of night and I had to leave early next day. Changing rooms at that point would have been as much as a disturbance as I was experiencing.

Nothing Room was dirty. Tub was peeling,body wash was empty. Doors were rusty. Silverware was dirty I was charged a pet cleaning fee but was never told there would be a charge. I will never stay at a Marriott again

The actual room was spacious and comfortable. At this particular location the walls are very thin. I could hear the people next to me talking all night while I was trying to sleep.

Our stay here was great! We stopped for a quick overnight to break up our drive and the location was perfect. There is lots of shopping and food near by. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast has a great selection with extremely friendly staff.

Room was very close to elevator but did not hear it. Door to room was hard to open and close it seems as if the door was swollen or maybe out of line but had to use force to open and close. We had a wonderful stay here. The room was very nice, with a kitchen, sitting area and king bed. Nice vanity in bath. But the mattress was soft, sinking in the middle. The staff here Charon and Cynthia serving breakfast were some of the nicest people we've met while eating breakfast. They displayed and kept the food items well stocked. The breakfast was great, we had sausage, both turkey and pork, eggs, toast, waffles, pastries, cereals, with a nut and topping station, juice, coffee, milk, yogurt, fresh pineapple, bananas, apples just to name a few. It was awesome!! Will be back here. I will have to say at check out the staff person was away with a note at the front desk, "I've walked away, will return later". This was the busiest time of day check out time and they weren't there to man the station. Only negative thing to say here.

This property is ready for disposal due to asset being at end of life. No investments have been made in this property in many many years. Beds are concave, however rooms are clean and staff is friendly. I would not stay here again.

It was ok, the room was VERY dusty which caused me to sneeze constantly. I stayed at Fairfield the previous nights and that place was EXCELLENT. i will not choose Residence again.

My kids and I stayed for two nights. We felt safe and comfortable. The women who were working at the hotel were the most polite and accommodating I have experienced at a hotel. The ladies at the breakfast area were amazing. The room was spacious and clean. The whole visit was one of our best. Thank you ladies

Really nice place to stay during the trip. The room is spacious and clean. Very friendly staff. The only thing what is not great - is outdated furniture- we had broken vanity cabinet in the bathroom, but other than that - we had no complaints. We definitely will use this place again

Good accommodations. The furniture has seen better days but overall good condition. Bed was not as comfortable as most Marriotts but was decent.

2nd room the bed looked like it was slept in already and garbage in can and on floor. 3rd room had garbage in cans and only had 2 towels.

I checked in my room it was flood on my sheets no one was there to redo my room the bathroom was not cleaned The front desk gave me stuff to make my bed up if I wanted to make my own bed up I would have stayed at home that checked to a hotel

Thermostat was broken an the room smelled like someone cooked peppers right before I arrived.

This was my first time staying at this hotel in Florence. I usually stay somewhere else with my family dog that I have been driving to and from Florida the last few years. The lady at the front desk was very nice. But the room smelled terrible. Again. I know pet friendly. But this was worse than any other dog friendly hotel I’ve stayed at. On top of it. My dog barked several times thru the night. Bc 5 doors down people were having a hotel room party till 4 am when I got up to do my second day of driving. Amazing how this was not stopped at all thru the night.

Extremely bad experience at the reception If you pass by Expedia, for sure that you will have the wrong room you paid for and the girl at the reception is happy to tell you that roughly If you pay for 2 rooms , they won't give you 2 rooms close and not even at the same level It's not the standard of Marriott at all

Excellent customer service from the entire staff that we interacted with. The Breakfast staff was just wonderful, very friendly and most helpful. The Breakfast was just excellent. We plan to visit this hotel whenever we are in the Florence area. Excellent!

Needed suite care . More cleaning

The room and facility was great - was surprised by the lack of soundproofing in such a new build- not just outside noise - but adjacent room noise!!

The ladies cooking and preparing breakfast were so accomidating. Our house flooded and i needed somewhere to stay. Unfortunately the first couple days were spent at home 2 suites. Wish i would have come to residence inn from the star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff are friendly, food quality of the breakfast is reasonable. Beds are comfortable and rooms are in good condition.

Requested room service after confirming eligibility. Request wasn't responded to. Room finishings were dirty, revealed extensive wear, poor upkeep.

Evening check in staff hated their job apparently… not friendly at all. Room was run down and dated and not very clean. I am not sure how this hotel had a high rating on hotels.com. Breakfast staff was very nice.

The breakfast and breakfast hostesses were excellent. The hostesses were very friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast offered many delicious options!

Stay away. This hotel stay was awful. The only room left was the accessible room with a walk in shower. The shower didn't drain properly at all so there was water all over the floor and leaking into the bedroom. We had to put towels all over the floor to use the bathroom because it was full of water. Everything was broken, the dishes were dirty. Overall awful experience. I waited at the desk for 15 minutes at checkout to explain how awful our stay was but no one came so I left. I called my third party hotel reservation line and they reached out to the hotel on our behalf and they refused to offer any sort of compensation or reimbursement. The room was not cheap either, $278/night!! What a rip off.

The front desk must have gave them our key and room also! The front desk person was so obviously asleep when we arrived because he asked us our room number when we were trying to check in!!!! He must have also been sleeping when he gave our key and room to another guest at 3:00 am!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here and really appreciated the breakfast. Staff was friendly. There were some maintenance issues in our unit, including a torn shower curtain and a broken toilet seat. Bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.

Checked in late Friday night. As soon as we entered the room it smelled terrible. Went to the bathroom and the toilet was overflowing with human excrement. Clearly the room had not been cleaned properly. Went back to reception the next room had food in the sink and the fridge had old moldy food left. Clearly again the room had not been cleaned properly. At this point we rang the front desk but the girl seemed uninterested. As were with a minor we stayed in the room but asked for a full refund as we were meant to be there for 2 nights. They refused the refund until I got the Hotels.com rep on the phone with the manager. Absolutely disgusting hotel do not stay here. The next day we booked into an IHG Holiday Inn Express nearby... extremely clean and well run.

Short stay

We had to book a hotel room last minute due to vehicle troubles on the interstate leading to it being towed to the next town which ended up being Florence. The room was very spacious and definitely met our needs with having 2 little kids. In the morning, they had a full breakfast which my husband said was the best he ever had at a hotel. Sharon and Cynthia were the two ladies who were overseeing the breakfast. They were such a huge blessing to us when we were full of emotions and literally stranded until we could locate and pick up a vehicle. These two ladies were so kind to our boys and were to attentive to keeping the tables clean and food up to par. It truly meant the world for their kind words and support. The little things really mattered. I would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay again if we ever found our way to Florence.

The breakfast is the best ever. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are very nice but the towels need work but aren't too bad. We will stay there again.

Great place to stay.

At first glance, I thought this was going to be a good hotel experience. But, it was not. Check-in was at 3 pm, but we did not get into our room until 4:20, because none of the rooms were clean. In the evening, you could smell marijuana in the hallway. The bathroom door would not close very well. I had to put my knee against the door and push the lock button at the same time. The linens for the pull-out sofa were not appealing, and we had to go downstairs to try to get something else, which we were able to do. I was extremely disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay tooms were great size no complaints with any of the hotel. Our check in staff were not very friendly and very quiet i had to ask how much they were charging my card for insidentals and where the room was as well where the elevators were no information was given without asking. The morning staff were great kind talkative and helpful though
