Historic property that is in good condition and fun to be in. Great food. Rooms are small but enough. There are only 8 or so parking spots. Secondary lot is only open from 5 pm to 8 am.

Be advises that this place is from the late 1800's. If you want modern amenities. Go to a chain hotel. This is not for you. Water was hot. Bed was comfortable. Place was clean. Loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was small but perfect and exactly what we wanted. We loved the vibe and decor. There were 3 bars/restaurants at the property and so many other walkable locations. We enjoyed the life music!

Quaint historical hotel in the centre of Flaggstaff - really couldn't ask for a better location. The varander bar is a great place for a drink overlooking the town at the end of a long day. Historical hotels comes with their quirks, our room had a private bathroom which was just a bath with a shower attachment.

Parking was surprisingly easy. Simply behind the hotel. Historic charm. We were place in the ADT room. Ground floor. On a Saturday night it was very quite. Everyone was very kind. Rachel (upstairs bartender) was outstanding. Only problem was the inconsistent hot water in our shower. Maintenence is on it.

Love the old historic downtown hotels, & we certainly were not disappointed. Room was good size & decor & renovations were all time period. 3 bars & a restaurant (could get food at all bars) was so very convenient for dinner/cocktails. Again they were all decorated so cool & historically it was like going back in time. Ice was available at all the bars so we were able to maintain a cooler in the room in lieu of a room fridge. Finally the staff were so helpful & friendly that I thought I was in Disney world at times. Staff went above & beyond to make our stay memorable & comfortable, & to make sure we had everything we needed. From the front desk staff (so friendly & helpful) to the bartenders (full of information as well as skilled at mixed drinks), all made us feel comfortable & special. Loved learning about the history & poking around the haunted corridors. Definitely one of our top 5 overall historic hotels!

I was pretty bummed overall by my stay. Really nice people working here, but terrible sleep to be had. Hot room, super loud, didn’t get a lick of sleep before a big day. I wouldn’t book here for sleep quality, you’d be better off at pretty much any motel. But the ambiance and vibes of the hotel are really neat if you’re looking for somewhere like that.

The location is great to walk to tons of restaurants and the balcony bar and gopher hole are right there at the hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Cons- the rooms and bathrooms are VERY small. We stay at other historic hotels but this waa crazy small. The bed waa not comfortable at all and sunk to the middle. There is no temperature control in your room, so it is what it is. Parking is free for 1 car, BUT there are only 7 spaces so if there are more guests you are paying to park somewhere else. Its OK for thr money right in downtown, but I would look at other options next time.

When we got to our room at night, we went to bed at 11pm. We couldn't go to sleep due to the loud music coming from somewhere. We accepted that we were downtown, and would have to endure this until 2am As we laid in bed, a loud pot banging noise came from the exposed pipe behind my husband's bedside. It lasted 5 minutes or so. It occured every 2 hours through the night. It was impossible to sleep due to the pipe, the loud music and people until 6am. To top it off, it was trash day at 6:30. We did not sleep at all. We complained about the horrible night. She said that the bar across the street has been a problem. She said police are called frequently, but they just don't care. She also said that she hasn't heard the pipe complaint in a long time. I went to take a shower. The shower head did not work. I just used the handheld wand. During my shower, the head popped off of the hose, and flew around the bathroom and my clothes. My husband couldn't even shower. It happened the 2nd night again. The hotel didn't address our complaints at the hotel or email. We overpaid for this rundown hotel. Extremely disappointed.

I love the property and it is a nice embrace of the unique qualities of Tombstone. The entire staff was super nice and helpful. The property is still a few successful years away from reaching its full potential as a kind of historic destination (right now there is some issue with oldness that is not historic and not having a TV in my room seemed too bold a kind of "statement" to make, at least right now). All the same, great place to stay.

Check in process was great, but that’s about it. Parking is atrocious, the hotel has 7 dedicated spots. If you don’t score one, it’s a slog through downtown with your luggage to check in. The key is an actual key on an obnoxious keychain that you must try not to lose. The room has no amenities that one expects in a $300/night hotel. No in-room coffee, no ice machine (you must get ice from the bartender). The bath towels are tiny and rough textured, toilet paper is one-ply sandpaper. There is no individual climate control, so you’re having a heat stroke combined with frostbite because you have to have the window open. The bed is a boxy, springy, highly uncomfortable mattress and only one side had a nightstand. I can say I stayed at a historic hotel but I will never stay here again and I will never recommend this hotel. I could have saved $150 dollars by staying at a hotel with actual hotel amenities and taking an uber to the orpheum theater.

My husband and I stayed at the Weatherford Hotel on December 13th and had a very mixed experience. The customer service was excellent—truly above and beyond. However, we stayed in Room 43, and the radiator pipes made a loud pounding noise about every hour to hour and a half, waking us both up throughout the night. We fully understand this is a historic hotel and expected some quirks and even noise from the bar. But this was well beyond what could be considered tolerable or part of the “historic charm.” We’ve stayed in many historic hotels, including the Monte Vista down the street, and have never experienced anything like this. The severity of the radiator pipe noise was not disclosed, and when we spoke with the front desk, we were told management would reach out—but no one ever did. Because of this, we will not stay here again. If you do decide to stay at the Weatherford, we strongly recommend avoiding Room 43 until the radiator system is addressed—it is impossible to get any sleep.

Cool historic hotel, the bed wasn’t super comfy but good enough to get some sleep. We stayed on the third floor, room 49. We suspect that the dragging sound we heard may have been ghost activity. Our room was VERY HOT luckily, you can open the window - we slept with it open all night to help cool the room. The staff was all REALLY welcoming, friendly, and super pleasant. The downtown area has a lot of nice little coffee shops, we are at Kinder Box for dinner and it was fantastic. Parking is located behind the building - which is slightly sketchy. We parked a corvette there and it was fine - but we were a little worried. There’s so easy or comfortable way to bring in luggage - I recommend only bringing in your essentials, otherwise you’re lugging everything down the street and up two flights of stairs. I didn’t see any kind of bellhop and there’s no elevator that we were aware of. Overall, a cool experience with the added thrill of being an actively haunted hotel. :)

This is a historical hotel so things being old are part of the experience. The hotel and our room was clean. It is full of history and charm from that respect. Our room was very warm at night even with the temperatures getting near freezing, so we had to prop the windows open to keep cool. Our claw foot bath tub had the shower nozzle but no curtain around it, so it was interesting to take a shower. The bed was comfortable. We did experience some noise from the bars downstairs (it was homecoming weekend) but overall it wasn't horrible. The staff were all polite and friendly. This would not be a place for anyone with mobility issues since there is not an elevator. Look at the pictures, read the descriptions. They are not trying to hide anything and are very upfront about what the hotel has or does not have. We enjoyed our stay and all of the unique history that the Weatherford has to offer.

So, why the poor rating? Well, there are no lifts so we had to hump our cases 2 floors up the stairs and then…the room was terrible. We were lucky to get a bathroom (apparently some of the rooms don’t have private bathrooms) but don’t think of bringing a cat to swing, or in the room for that matter. There was no tv, a small double bed in the corner, no hairdryer, no water, a chipped sink and bath, and no floor space for our cases. We have been travelling Route 66 for 2 1/2 weeks now using lots of quaint motels and even stayed in a wigwam - all of which had bigger, nicer bedrooms (and tvs). Sorry Weatherford Hotel, quaint with character doesn’t excuse small room and lack of basic traveller comforts.

This is a great hotel, lots of charm, the staff is awesome, it’s beautiful. The only reason for four stars is the lack of a shower in the bathroom and not great ventilation in the room. But I get that it’s an old building. I would recommend staying here and would return for sure.

Room was a mess. The heater would not turn off which made us keep the window open which then let all the noisy sounds from the next building. Seriously what a joke. Then the shower would not stay hot or cold to include uneven water pressure and to add the tub slowly drained. I told the front desk. I got “WE WILL PASS ON THE INFORMATION “.

I guess staying in a historic hotel is not our thing…. The property was cute and conveniently located within the historic downtown. The room was tiny!! The bathroom was tiny. The noise traveled exceptionally well :). It sounded like someone was walking in our room all night even that it was outside in a hallway or on a different floor.

They do advise of the noisy atmosphere, and it is quite loud. Was not impressed at all with this place. It looks nice from the outside front, but that’s where it ends. If you want a room to stumble to after getting drunk at one of the four bars, this is the place. Otherwise, find somewhere else.

Similar to the previous guests ....The staff were fantastic, the hotel is a charming old building in the middle of Flagstaff's historical center. The owners need to pick a model, a great place to drink and have fun or stay and sleep at reasonable time. We weren't able to get to sleep until 2:30 am after a long day of traveling. First the band directly underneath us went until 9:30 pm and then the noise from the nightlife outside (Pick & Take store has a patio with loud speakers) went on until 2:30 AM. Then of course at 5:00 am the City starts waking up with street cleaning, garbage trucks & deliveries. We were there 3 nights (W,T & F) it was the same every night. Don't get me wrong the band until 9;30 was very good but we didn't want to drink until 9:30 every night after hiking for 6 - 8 hours. We made a huge mistake staying here and for similar money should have stayed at a hotel that is a hotel not a great place to party, sorry

Love staying in old historic hotels like this and very nicely kept. Beautiful lobby for Christmas! Very comfortable bed and old antique furniture add to the charm. We did not have a stand-up shower (surprise!) and just the antique tub so be sure to ask before you book. Noise was not an issue for us and waking to the smell of coffee in the morning was perfect. Pubs were fun too.

This is an older hotel so rooms are small but it's location is the reason for staying here plus the balcony on the 3rd floor where time can be spent having a quiet drink people watching with great views of Eldon mountain

However, the hotel has thin walls and the bands playing late into the night were heard (and vibrations felt) in our room. If your traveling with friends and want a night of drinks and music, then walk to a comfortable room, this is a perfect place. But if you are tired and need a quiet place to sleep, you may want to go elsewhere.

I have always wanted to stay here as it is a historic place. There was no TV and the insolation was horrible I could hear everything that was going on in the hallway other than that the hotel was very clean & staff was very friendly & attentive. They provided me with a fan for white noise to help me sleep.

Historic hotel in the heart of Flagstaff. Close to many bars, restaurants, coffee shops etc. can’t beat the location.

Our room was directly above one of their bars. The extremely loud pounding music began at 9:00 PM and ended at 1:47AM. We asked to have our room changed or a refund and they refused. This music was so loud. This is the worst experience in a hotel we have ever had. Do not book anything at rhe Weatherford.

No coffee pot in room. Handicap access unavailable for second floor and above. The hotel was quaint and close to the orpheum theater.

Room was not as described. We did not have 2 sinks or a view of the surrounding attractions. A/C barely worked. Property was open Thursday through Sunday. I did not know that as Expedia said it was open Thursday through Monday and let me book Thurs through Monday. Came back from an outing, without cell service, to find our personal belongings packed in whatever bag that had space by the front desk Monday and had to get a room at a different location. I don't know who was at fault but I will be uninstalling Expedia and will no longer use it.

A great old style hotel. Spacious room. Antique claw foot tub. Lots of restaurants and shopping within the area.

I reserved a room with bathroom inside the room, but when I checked in the attendant wanted to give me one with bathroom across the hall. I told her that that is not what i reserved and she said that reserving through a third party (Expedia in this case), they do not guarantee the type of room. After I insisted a lot, she gave me a room with bathroom. So, there was a room available! She was rude and I will not come back to this place. The room was very small and the bathroom door, when open, almost touched the sink. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Many nice restaurants around.

They hosted a wedding with a DJ on the same floor which did not end until 11. I was told by the manager that this was an event hotel and I should have expected this. It is unexceptable to have this going on till 11pm while you are renting rooms too others

If you are looking for a unique rustic stay this is for you. It’s more like staying in an old house rather than a hotel. Historic so most of the old charm still is there. Not many updates to the rooms. The rooms aren’t super quiet and the floors creak, but as I stated old charm. Only complaint is check in is early, luckily I was able to get in touch with the front desk( not easy to do), to let them know about a late flight. They have 24 hour security.

The property has great character and will provide a historic experience. The location of this property is unbeatable and allows great access to downtown Flagstaff. The only negatives of staying at this property were the competitive parking, if you are unable to find a spot in the free parking you must park in paid parking per day. The lack of amenities- only a bathtub (no shower in our room,) no microwave, no fridge, no coffeemaker, limited view. Other than these downfalls the staff is very accommodating, and the Weatherford is a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore all that downtown Flagstaff has to offer.
