The sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed or washed. That is my only complaint.

This remodeled hotel was very cute and we enjoyed the pool. The staff was helpful. I wish they had provided a breakfast. The bathroom was a little grungy and the tub pooled water near the drain. There was a visible stain on one of the bedspreads. The restaurant attached was delicious, but we didn’t like that they added a few they said was for paying their employees a living wage. That fee should just be part of the prices on the menu so it wasn’t a surprise amount. All business should factor living wage into their prices and if they can’t they shouldn’t be in business. I didn’t like that the owner was attempting to blame the city’s living wage initiative by charging it as an extra fee to draw attention to the added cost.

We were very pleased with the Kendrick hotel. The staff and property were great! We used the pool & spa, as well as having two meals in the on-site restaurant.

Bed & pillows were terrific. Room was very clean. I personally loved the a/c unit - I use the constant fan as my white noise machine. Also this hotel is very close to the I-40 & a coffee shop I love to visit. I'm always worried about the quality of "group use" lotions, shampoos, etc. So I never use them & have to bring my own. Sigh.

It was a pretty view of the desert and not far from sedona There were not any slippers for our feet and they did not have a bidet for the toilet. Also, at the start of our stay there were some really sketchy people around the hotel at night.

It’s pretty much a renovated Motel 6. My room wasn’t the cleanest. The front office looks nice but nothing like the rest of the property. It’s Okayy just not what I expected based off the website. The pictures are deceiving.

Everything was clean almost brand new, and the staff was so diligent and attentive. We also enjoy the restaurant very much. We plan to go back Thank You.!

I liked the rooms that was perfectly fine I had two rooms, we had to move several times due to plumbing issues. Each time I had to get new room keys and it was a disaster and inconvenient to have to walk up and down from the rooms to the front desk. We also had to move all our belongings. The toilets got backed up in both the rooms so we had to move. You would think that a discount would be applied but it wasn’t.

Room 311 could use a few repairs.

The Kendrick Hotel and its staff deserve the 5 stars. They were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant attached gave 10% discount and the food was great. Plenty of parking and fairly close to everywhere we were going to visit. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a motel that got a new fresh of paint. Not worth the price, the location or the amenities.

The room was decent, it was clean but some areas needed to be wiped down again. The sink would not drain, I called the front and they said they would have someone come look at it, unsure if that happened because it still wouldn’t drain.

This is a basic older yet clean hotel. The room we were in required going outside along a short cement walkway across to a different building which was a bit inconvenient yet once there an elevator was available to take our luggage upstairs. A paid breakfast is available in a restaurant in the same building as the reception desk yet service was very slow to bring me a cup of coffee and even take my order, and I had to ask if there was a way to speed up the process or I'd have to leave (since I had a class that morning). Then my order was taken and breakfast arrived quickly. I was there when it first opened in the morning so maybe service is better once all the staff arrive. There was a coffee machine, though, by the front desk. It would be a great hotel for young people who are in the area to ski and want a place to sleep and hang out. There's a decent workout room, and being an older hotel it had some unique spaces for sitting/gathering. It's right along the interstate so easy access. It's very reasonably priced.

This hotel was a little gem in the hiding. We got a very reasonable rate for our Sunday night stay. The room was clean and parking was very accessible. The only thing I could complain about is that the Keurig machine in the room was broken and we couldn’t make coffee that morning. Other than that, our state was perfect.

We booked a balcony/patio, but our room was directly outside the maintenance fenced area, so we weren't able to use our patio at all!

Overall, the staff was super nice. Was there was one woman with glasses working in the front desk that looked very unhappy to be there. I was gonna ask her something, but I thought twice and looked it up online instead.

Everyone was extremely accommodating the restaurant that was attached was superb called northern pines. We stayed for a few days but our location was the best! So close to the Pool/Jacuzzi and exit. It was nice to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful night sky.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was a towel that had a weird stain on it but it didn't look dirty just an tiny small stain that happened to catch my eye because I am OCD. The towel itself was clean and smelled totally clean and fresh. I absolutely love their nice balconies with views of the mountains. The staff is so friendly and personable. The spaciousness of the rooms is great and the only thing my husband would have prefered was one more beside table but its just a preference.

The room was updated and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and check-in and out was easy. I was concerned about noise as I was in close proximity to the pool area, but it was reasonably quiet in my room. I could here the running of equipment but it was a white-noise sort of sound and not bothersome to me.

Oddly, someone kept attempting to open our door throughout the stay. It was somewhat creepy. Even the housekeepers were trying to come into the room several times before we checked out. Didn't like that, but the rest of the staff was great. Too much road noise in this location.

Loved the free coffee, hit coco. The restaurant attached was excellent. Front staff very receptive to request and had a few sitting areas to read, talk. Recommended

ROMANTIC, AMAZING STAFF, BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! I stayed there for my anniversary and I called ahead of time to ask if I can bring some rose pedals and while they set up the room they could put them on the bed and they said absolutely! Not only that but they surprised both of us with a bag of goodies and a congratulatory message! The hotel was clean and the front desk and manager were all lovely! Honestly not one complaint! My stay was exceptional!

Quiet lots of renovations

Not all the towels were clean, the pillows on both beds were very thin and seemed worn, the sink was not draining, and it took a very long time (~10 mins) for the water to get warm at all, let alone get hot. I’m having to stay in town another night tonight and opted to stay at a Super 8 instead. Would have preferred to stay here again but it wasn’t a good experience overall. The woman who checked me in was friendly.

Hot tub was closed and I was very disappointed. Restaurant was outstanding!! Loved our waiter who was funny, attentive and very kind. Green chile mashed potatoes were fantastic!!!

Balcony View Is Scenic only in one direction. Experience was horrible, no amenities and costed 160 dollars.

Most of the hotel was under construction and the heated pool was out of order. Very thin walls so we heard all our neighbors talking late into the night.

The bed was not comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tub were inaccessible, which was the reason I booked this hotel in the first place. They tried to charge me a fee because I wanted to check out early, ended up checking out on scheduled day. Will not book again.

Expedia and the Kendrick misrepresented the room. There is something that says the fitness center is closed. Not the indoor pool which is the only reason I booked this hotel. After speaking with Expedia and the property who assured me I could cancel 2/3 nights at no charge. They are only refunding me $20 a night. Blood stained walls. And gross outdated hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The upgrade with the coffee machine and bathroom amenities were great. I enjoyed stay again.

The staff we interacted with were friendly. Location was centralized and’s having indoor rooms made us feel safe. The only issues we faced was no service resulting in low towels and having to ask for toilet paper. When they did service the room they took all the towels we requested the day before. They also took all the wash cloths and the mat. We ended up having to use a towel one of us used with one having no towel.

The Kendrick Hotel is currently under renovation. The renovation caused very little inconvenience. our stay was quiet and comfortable. The attached resturant was very convenient and the food was acceptable.

Balcony room allowed a decent view, overall a nice stay!

The pool was the perfect temperature and jacuzzi was a real treat after hiking all day with steaming water jets. We ate a meal at the restaurant everyday and particularly want to single Julie and Selena who waited on us different days. Even though they had multiple tables, they were so attentive with coffee, and extra requests that we felt we were the only table in the place. Bravo to all for a spectacular stay and we look forward to returning again!

Comfy beds and clean rooms

Stayed here for our recent day trip to Grand Canyon. Front staff was pleasant and helpful. Had dinner at the adjoining Tall Pines restaurant and it was great! Hot tub was clean and soothing. Room was spacious and clean. Next morning was breakfast at the restaurant. I recommend to anyone.

The Kendrick wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. I did not realize that it was so close to the freeway making it convenient and surprisingly quiet.. even though they were remodeling, it was clean a little inconvenient, not being able to use the walkway from the registration to your room and having to walk through the parking lot the hot tub and heated pool were available and used by most of the people staying there, my room was clean. It looked like it had been remodeled, and it was a nice day. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel was very good. They have a great menu and there’s also a bar on one side of the restaurant for cocktails in the evening the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel was clean friendly staff in the food was very good. The only true complaints would be the parking and I’m not sure that there would be anything you could do about that? Basically, the only thing keeping it from five stars was the construction and parking.

The rooms are not sound proof. You could hear people from other room even their coughing sounds. Staffa are nice but the conditions are not great to stay there.

Only complaints would be phone service & time to answer, and maybe a stock of commonly forgotten items - for me a curling iron. Thank you for a great stay.

It was one the better hotels we have stayed in overall. Nice to have the restaurant as well. Food was very good and quick to pick up. My only complaint was the hot tub was not warm enough. It was barely warm actually so we didnt stay in it long. Room was nice and clean and comfortable beds too! We would stay again. Thank you

After an extended trip where I stayed in two $200 per night hotels in LA then drove to New Mexico through Flagstaff, this was the nicest of the three places I have stayed so far. Very comfortable beds, very well laid out room with plenty of surfaces to put stuff down. Looks like a modern construction with nice clean tiled bathroom and entranceway. The staff was incredibly nice and let me stay past the normal checkout time to take an important video call. The restaurant in front is good with a friendly staff. When I used the restaurant the second day, the waitress said "nice to see you again.". I can't remember the last time this happened to me.

Our room keys didn’t work twice and it’s not easy to get to the lobby. The elevator isn’t clearly marked except on the first floor with a small sign. We understand it’s under renovation. The housekeepers only knocked one time before coming in unannounced the other times. Thought that was rude. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful though.

Property is right off the highway so very convenient. From check in to check out, service was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the ac was good and cold just like I like it. The restaurant was definitely a nice addition. Will definitely stay again

The new lobby looks nice but the room we had was never the back parking lot and needed a refresh. Paint was peeling in the bathroom. The bed had a low spot in the center of the bed as well. Staff was great and the restaurant is fantastic.

This hotel is currently being remodeled. The new rooms and lobby have nicely updated decor. The young man at the front desk was efficient, professional and friendly. He recommended a great Brewery nearby in Historic downtown Flagstaff.

Everything was great, only complaint was the USB port near the bed was not working. Haha. I didn’t have a wall charger so I to charge my phone in the vehicle. But overall, it was a nice stay.

This property is newly renovated and easily accessed off of I-40. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. Each room as a small balcony which is nice to be able to enjoy the cool Flagstaff air.

The gal at the front desk was do friendly and welcoming.

It would’ve been nice if the online reservation indicated that there were renovations currently going on. The front desk was of little help with either assistance or information. It was very inconvenient to have to take the luggage cart from the check-in area, to our car, to/from our room, and back to the check-in area. As two 80 year old women, an offer of assistance would have been very appreciated.

Front desk staff and maintenance were great. Needed a screen door and one was brought up and installed. Room was great, only complaint is it's close to railroad. Gets noisy at times. Still had a great time.

The hotel was very clean, they were doing construction but it wasn’t an inconvenience. The room was very comfortable and clean. The area was great with a lot of great restaurants and stores close by. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good, we only had breakfast but it was delicious. The pool was clean and very fun for kids and the jacuzzi was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

While the staff was friendly, there were a few hiccups on our stay. 1, the towels threw off so much lint that it was impossible to dry yourself after showering without having lint all over. Had to go and buy my our towels from Walmart in order to shower. They claimed the towels were new and had gone through the washer and dryer yet. 2, not to big of a deal but an inconvenience, we had a late check out but when we stepped out the room to load our stuff in our car, our key was deactivated as if we were checked out so I had to go back to the front desk to get my key reactivated to get the rest of our stuff out.

staff was great! helpful and courteous. rooms were clean. the room we were in (by they stairs) was a little loud could hear people going up and down.

For the sub-$100 price paid, room was exceptionally clean, digitally handy (alarm clock w/ 2 USB-C jacks and a wireless charger on surface), and well supplied with towels, Keurig brewer w/ coffee and tea pods, and dispensers on shower wall AND at wash basin.

The staircase and hallway to the hotel room had an awful odor of dirt, grime, skunk and stale smoke. Both queen beds had dirty linen. One queen bed sheets and pillowcases reeked of cologne. The box spring had old blood or some bodily fluid. The other queen bed had multiple strands of long black hair - so disgusting

Over booked and didn't have a room for me

Although some renovations going on and the lobby is temporarily moved, it was easy to find and check in was excellent, fast and friendly. The room was very comfortable, extraordinarily clean and quiet, well-appointed and perfectly functional. Bed was very comfortable. Was given a 3rd floor room with a view of the mountains behind the hotel. There is no breakfast in the hotel but instead there is a restaurant in front of the property that is associated with the hotel, offering discounts to guests. Service and food are very good. Excellent location with gas stations nearby and convenient to main streets. Am told they will be changing their name to Kendrick (I think) Hotel. Would definitely stay again if prices don’t go up with the new name. Excellent hotel!

The staff were remarkably friendly (other than the one very tall guy at reception), genuinely well-trained, and hospitable. Nice touch calling and checking to see if the room was okay, and we had everything after we checked in. The room was clean, (wash area was pathetic, a tiny bar of soap (that was very cute) on a towel... The lights had no switches other than the fixtures, and the switches on the walls were from an escape room mystery, figuring out where they were. The parking lot had a construction container, and there was no easy way to drop off bags. Not a great experience, there are a lot of 2 or 3-star hotels in Flag. We won't be running back anytime soon. (Oh, yeah, if the hotel reads this, please change the phones in the room to display your hotel's name, not the previous one.) Good laugh though.

The hotel was under construction. Check-in was inconvenient. Wheelchair accessible was limited. There was no continental breakfast.

My family stayed one night. The room was nice and clean.

The employees were very nice and the service was good. The pictures are nicer than in person. A lot of unfinished paint and smells old and musty in the hallways. It was cheap so I’m not mad but I’m not coming back either.

Everything was nice! There was construction going on, but it is to be expected when you want your place to be great. The staff was nice. I didn't know I was suppose to get a welcome gift, which I didn't get. The only two things I didn't like was that the faucet to wash your face and hand was too close to the edge and was hard to wash your hands in it. The other thing was the lock for the door. Umm, I've never seen lock like that and would suggest to switch them out to something more sturdy than that. Other than that, I have no complaints about anything, just suggestions to put some tea bags in the room and cups that are microwaveable. The ones in the rooms are not and leave white stuff floating in the water.

Slightly older hotel but clean and well kept. Restaurant in front was great with excellent service. Beautiful area.

Called twice for towels as there weren’t enough in the room. The girl at the desk said she could bring one later as she was the only one there. An hour later I walked up to the desk to get it and the girl was there on her phone with another girl. Then there was a plastic bag put over the smoke detector. When brought to the staff the girl said “we do that so the battery doesn’t beep” not only is that incredibly unsafe it is also illegal. Completely unacceptable.

We love how quiet it was and how easy the check in was! And very great customer service! Will be coming back soon.

$10 Lyft ride to downtown, two bars and several restaurants within walking distance. Obvious with the construction they are looking to improve the property.

The property was a little out dated but great place to stay over all. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. The room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was okay. The major drawback is that the hotel is going through major renovations. The parking is bad. There is no lobby. We were in a renovated room that was just fine. Okay.

The building is being renovated. it will be nice when it's done.

Booked for a one night stay while up for a concert. Hotel is under construction so parking was taken up by conex and dumpsters. Office was in the lobby at temporary tables. Bathroom was filthy. Had hair on my washcloth that wasn’t mine. Shower shelves were covered in grime. Black marks on extra bed. For the money it wasn’t worth it. Would not return. Kids in rooms upstairs kept running up and down hallways all night and early morning.

We really enjoyed this property. The refrigerator was large which we needed for product for our business. Parked right outside our room and was able to walk from room to our vehicles. Staff was very helpful. Best of all location was perfect for us. Definitely will stay again.

We had a very nice stay. The property still had renovations occurring but our room was renovated and very clean. The restaurant on site is absolutely excellent! Reviews were good so we tried it for dinner. Best party melt and Reuben ever! French Onion soup was wonderful. Staff was friendly at the hotel.
