Very clean, comfortable stay. Especially enjoyed the second sink in the bedroom/sitting area.

Very nice and clean hotel. I did book with breakfast included for me and my family but when we got there they said it wasn’t so not sure whose fault that was. Wouldn’t have booked there if it wasn’t included. But other than that it was fine.

On a road trip from Florida to California, Hyatt Flagstaff was far superior to every other hotel along the way. The front desk and bar staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Room and amenities were first class. Will definitely return next time I’m in Northern Arizona.

The one positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast, which was good and appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and accessibility issues outweighed that benefit.

The young man that checked me in was polite, and professional. The woman who checked me out was a little uppity, and informed me that because I used a 3rd party booking site I didn't qualify for the free breakfast.

They need a lot more lighting in the room section, it felt very dreary, and offered no lights on the ceiling in the center of the room. It made it feel small. There was also an area of improvement regarding their maintenance team. They left their recently done projects unclean, with saw dust coating the floor and walls of the room. A deposit and parking of almost $60.00 seems a bit much for a hotel off the interstate. Their dog area needs attention in the morning, because with it being the only trash in the parking lot side, it was disgusting to go up to. Clean property, and comfortable beds, but if you’re looking for a hotel to match the $300 price, look elsewhere.

Nice place, close to town and well maintained. Not sure why they have a small parking fee when other similar hotels do not charge for parking in there lot.

Unfortunately, we had a difficult experience with the guests in the room next to us. The rooms shared a wall where our beds were located, and around 11:00 PM a group came down the hallway being extremely loud with little consideration for other guests. After entering their room and repeatedly slamming the door, the noise continued for nearly an hour. It was loud enough to wake my entire family multiple times throughout the night. I tried knocking on the wall several times in hopes they would realize how much noise they were making, but it continued. Eventually, I called the front desk, and about 15 minutes later the noise finally stopped. I understand that inconsiderate guests are not the hotel’s fault, which is why I still want to acknowledge the positives about the property and staff. However, it was frustrating because we had traveled from Phoenix and specifically booked a hotel so our son could get a good night’s rest before a 6:00 AM wake-up call and a double-header baseball game the next morning. Unfortunately, none of us slept well. Despite this experience, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. I just wish our stay had been a little quieter.

Cons - surprise parking fee - not acceptable. No vending machines for water/soda/late night munchies. Water pressure was barely adequate and toilet paper was more like sand paper. Room was noisy from both guests and street. Not likely to stay there again.

Comfortable room after a long drive. Restaurant on site was very good. Although breakfast was listed as "included" it was on site but for a nominal charge ($3.99) unless you were a highly rated "member." But all in all a very nice stay, good food and breakfast buffet was also very good.

I liked the hotel I felt like they were deceptive about their breakfast. It didn't say breakfast available..... which means breakfast is available if you would like to purchase it......it just said great breakfast.....also I was charged for parking in Flagstaff Az..... I'm sure it is one of the only or few in Flagstaff that takes advantage of their guest by charging parking....Land is certainly not a premium in Flagstaff, AZ I needed a hotel in Salt Lake City the next night, but didn't consider Hampton Place. I'm not paying for parking or breakfast if I'm traveling in the west. There are plenty of.hotels that offer a free breakfast and free parking. I won't be back!!

A nice new hotel. Everything clean and comfortable. My only disappointments werean additional $8 parking fee. Also, sound travelled easily into the rooms from the hallways, and when the room doors slam shut, they shake the building!

It was a very clean hotel. I loved the location! Everything is less than 5 minutes away. Staff was so helpful! Starbucks coffee downstairs!!! We want to come back for sure! We used the pool and the gym, they were great too!

We were given an occupied room when we checked in. The front desk person seemed unfazed. We also asked for a handicap room and did not get one.

Stayed there one night and purchased it through Expedia. Hotel was new, clean and nice and it was a good deal through Expedia. When arrived at the property, had to pay an additional 8.00 to park not a big deal. Now have to call the hotel to find out why I was charged an additional 58.75, ugh!

Expedia did not indicate there were additional fees when browsing for places - $100 for one night is extremely excessive, especially when the laminate floors are considered.

The breakfast was good, not superb but good. What I liked was that they had a great selection, from cereal to bagels to eggs to waffles. The variety was awesome there was something for everyone. The bar was great, i had a starbucks coffee😁 It was great. The staff was great and very helpful. Our room was clean and smelled clean, the sheets on the beds were crisp and smelled so clean. I will definitely stay at the hyatt again.

Difficult to get to sleep as anytime anyone on the floor closed their room door it would slam shut making a very loud noise that could be heard through the walls. They also did not disclose in the booking that they charge for parking

The hotel is updated with a modern feel, the entire premisses are clean and tidy from the public spaces such as the lobby, lounge and dining room to the pool and the rooms. The rooms are spacious with tons of storage and are comfortable clean, with a modern aesthetic. The staff are all VERY kind, they are happy to assist with extra accommodations such as needing to change the bedding out from feather down to hypoallergenic, etc etc. The first time we stayed at the hotel, breakfast was included in our room rate, this past time, it was not and that was a minor disappointment.

Pleased with our stay. Very clean, super close to the downtown nightlife which was great. Breakfast is an $11 per person charge & it is NOT at all worth that. Save yourself No microwaves in rooms but did have a fridge. Shower was nice, roomy bathroom & the check in people were extremely friendly. We will stay here again.

UPON arrival was greeted by the front desk staff. Very professional answer all my questions. The room was we were expecting quite clean all toiletries required were in place. Breakfast? Two hands one healthy choices, hot oatmeal great fruit cocktails. To Monique house staff that took the time on checking every single guest to accommodate our needs if there was any. Have to say this was unexpected kindness of the staff

First and foremost, $100 pet fee that was not disclosed when I booked the room. And she even asked me if it was OK and my stay was nonrefundable. What was I supposed to do? Leave my dog in the car and pay for the hotel and go find another place to stay it was ridiculous. That’s one of the worst Hotel experiences I’ve ever had Long black hair strands in the sink when I first got to the room THIN CEilings/floor so I could hear everything going on in the room above me even at four in the morning them walking around When the furnace turns on it sounds like a jet airplane taking off, and it happened all night long The parking lot was icy very dangerous to walk on Kitchen equipment, broken down for months if they still have on their menu food that required that kitchen equipment Luckily, the front desk person who was also the restaurant person who is also that everything person told me that their hamburgers are really bad so don’t eat there so I had to walk out into the icy roads to go get dinner Needs to say, I will never stay at a Hyatt again

I was informed at the time of checkin there was a 8 dollar parking fee. This fee was not advertised, but looks like a money grab for profits. The checkin staff was not to friendly. The breakfast staff was stand offish except for the young lady who took our room number, she was very polite...thank you. The was no staff available when checking out as i had a few questions about my stay. So i just put my key card in the make shift plastic dish. I would not recommend this place to anybody due to bad staff atmosphere/ not available for questions and of course hidden fees that were not avertized.

This hotel was immaculate, and I am picky! Everything was very functional, great space for bags in the room, bathroom was very well arranged. The bed was very comfortable, and, bonus, the wrapped comforter came all the way up to my shoulders! (This isn't always the case!) Staff was super friendly, breakfast was nice. Not the closest walk to downtown but a very quick Uber ride. Would choose this hotel again for sure.

Rooms were not cleaned well. The pillows had a strong perfume scent on them. The bathroom floors were filthy as well as the shower. The rooms air/heating system was not working properly. The windows were very thin and allowed for very loud outside noise to disturb the nights sleep. The walls were very thin and we were able to hear the tv and talking from the rooms next to us throughout the night. One of the worst hotel stays I’ve ver had.

$8 parking, come on. TV Chanel’s didn’t gave Golf Chanel or Fox News, just unwatchable CNN & MSNBC. Can’t say we will that in this particular Hyatt Place.

This room was nice but there add is a bit deceptive. It does say that the room is equipped with a microwave which is false, they also say that there is breakfast, but it doesn’t say it’s for a price and it doesn’t reveal that parking is charged either. They should update there adds so that people are well aware of what is and isn’t included.

Checked in with no issue but when I got to the room, it wasn’t the room I had booked. Went down to the front desk who explained the room type I booked wasn’t available. Unfortunately, the number of people we had in the room was the reason we booked that room type.

I arrived on 10/7/25 to find that my reservation had been given to someone else and was told the hotel was completely booked. The thing that made this so frustrating, is that I called on 10/5/25, two days prior to my arrival to say that I would be arriving late (one day after my scheduled arrival) and emphasized to the woman who answered the phone that I was fine paying the first night of the reservation, and would gladly do so in order for them to hold the reservation for me. She told me it was no problem, she would note it as a late arrival in the reservation system. I did not think to ask her name because it seemed like everything was all set. Fast forward to my arrival on Tuesday, when the front-desk staff Noah informs me that my reservation was treated as a “no-show” and my room was re-issued to someone else. I showed him the email with my reservation number, and explained how I called the hotel on Sunday. I also did not receive any notification they were cancelling the reservation. I asked to speak to a manager, but conveniently, she just left for dinner and won’t be back for an hour. Sensing my frustration, he says he’ll just reinstate my reservation and give me a room. Luckily I found another hotel, and will not stay in this or another Hyatt. Avoid this one at all costs.

Very nice stay! The room was spacious and clean. The room was quiet. The only negative was that I had to pay extra for parking and breakfast which was not noted before I reserved the room.

Charged extra for parking. We were told we did not get free breakfast because we didn't book directly with them. So we ate elsewhere...and won't be back.

Clean and comfortable. Good location by NAU. Train kept us up at night (in the odd numbered rooms). Lights in the room are too bright white, not cozy at all.

$11 continental breakfast ? When to Starbucks and got better coffee and a breakfast sandwich for half the price.

The bathroom floor tiles were cracked. Looked and felt bad.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Only complaint is that the beds aren't very comfortable. My back was hurting because the beds were so stiff.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming immediately after entering the building to check in , the hotel room itself was super clean the smell of the entire building was really nice and clean smelling which I appreciated. Was in a good location to restaurants and walkable areas

This hotel checked all the boxes and offers a hot breakfast in the morning.

Tv situation. For someone in their 70’s. They don’t stream or know how. Very disappointing! Then they charge you for parking! And all you could get for national news was CNN!

The place just ok! You can hear your next door slamming the door and pounding on top of the floor. They could have better clean the bath room.

Service and staff was very friendly. Prices for in-house food and drinks were very high.

Overall a great stay! Will be back!

This hotel doesn’t carry Fox News. I found a national post mentioning that issue about this specific Flagstaff property?!?! After 3 days watching CNN I want to quit my job and collect welfare (that would result in no more business travel to this hotel).

Building across street

Everything was great, except the fire alarm test at 8am the next morning that lasted about 30mins off and on. All with no heads up from the staff when checking in or the next morning. Just house keeping walking the hallways after it started, saying it was only a test.

The front desk staff was great!!

This little hotel was amazing! Adorable and affordable... nice little bar and good breakfast! Staff also top knotch! Highly recommended!

I was surprised we had to pay for parking and for continental breakfast. For a new hotel I was surprised that it was not kept up very well. The bathroom door lock was an L bracket on a nice barn door. The automatic threshold on the main door didn’t work so it left a big gap at the bottom of the door. Other than small things it was a nice hotel.

Usually other hyatts have complimentary breakfast….not here!

The hotel did not have the room we purchased available. We rented a single king bed room and we received two queen beds. When we addressed this issue to the front desk they lied and told us that it was what we purchased even though we showed our confirmation from Expedia was a king room. They also said that there were no king rooms available so there was nothing to be done. Our room was okay, but the bathroom still had trash from the previous traveler. The icing on the cake was all the added fees that Hyatt tacks on for parking and the "continental" breakfast. Needless to say we will not be staying at Hyatt hotels on the future.

The only downside to our experience was a bad experience at breakfast. They charge about $8 for breakfast, yet when we went, there were no plates available and a number of the food items were also not available. We let the hostess know and she soon stomped through with a stack of plates that she slammed on the counter and then slammed down forks, etc. we left.

The hotel itself was nice close to downtown able to walk to restaurants. Our air conditioner was broken and the room was hot. We asked the front desk for help and were told “nothing we can do for you” by one staff member. Thankfully another provided a fan. Which we were grateful for.

Appreciated the rubber floor mat for shower. However, there was no rail or towel bar or anything to steady yourself inside the shower. The hanging doors were pretty but opened on own and swung during shower use. That was only negative for entire property

The location was amazing! We were able to travel all around LA and the surrounding cities.The room was really nice, especially the bathroom. Staff was amazing as well.

Staff were friendly. I waited an hour to get my room, requested two room. Maids were still cleaning after check-in

Noise was also an issue, with thin walls and little sound insulation. Safety concerns included doors that didn’t fully latch and a large gap under the hotel room door, letting in hallway light and noise. The property has potential, but staff training and communication need improvement.

Nice property but not use to paying for parking ($8) and they did not offer Fox News, which most if not all hotels I have stayed at offer on TV and limited channel selection. All other areas and amenities were very good, and the room given was very spacious and clean and quiet for the most part.

The staff were awesome! Great quiet location. Room was clean, front desk called after we got into the room to make sure everything was just as we wanted it. The ONLY draw back was the fan wouldn’t run continuously to keep the air moving. Front desk asked a lot of details about the problem when we left to make sure they could get it fixed. I was very impressed and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel and rooms were very clean and nice. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. Brooklyn at the front desk was amazing — she was friendly and helpful and kept a smile on her face even when she was busy.

Got our room quickly and easily. Room was clean, shower pressure would be better, but it was all we need to rest up.

Our stay at the hotel was comfortable and peaceful. Service was excellent. Breakfast was decent.

It was clean ans the rooms are spacious. Walls are very thin and the pool is lackluster (indoor).

The staff were great! They even gave me some suggestions for a few restaurants in the local area. The room was ADA accessible and the bed was just right.

Our stay last night was peaceful and relaxing. After a long day on the road having a comfortable bed and a quiet evening was exactly what was needed. The check in was easy and the ability to charge to our room was convenient.

The place was safe and quiet to be at. The only thing was the tight spaces for parking.

When I checked into my room, I discovered that there were no pillow cases on the bed pillows, which were piled in the middle of the bed, and no bathtowels in the bathroom. After driving for multiple hours to get there, I had to track down housekeeping to get the basics. I should have done a deeper investigation - because the next morning, at 5 am when I got in the shower I unfortunately ONLY THEN discovered that the soap and shampoo bottles bolted to the wall of the shower were all empty, and there was no shower mat for the bathroom floor. So I washed with the tiny bar of hand soap from the sink, because I was already soaking wet when I discovered all this. When I checked out, I explained all this to the front desk person, who appeared irritated and basically said "was that all?" No apology, no offer of a discount, not even an offer of a free breakfast. I dont expect to have to do a housekeeping check on my hotel room, especially when paying $100+ /night PLUS a parking fee in the off season.

Staff for the most part was so wonderful, but sometimes there are circumstances beyond staffs direct control that affect the experience. I went to check in early on Sunday and as I walked up the receptionist seemed like she hated her job and was slamming the phones down(dark hair middle aged) everyone else was so sweet. When we were finally able to check in they’re were no towels, by the time we got back from going somewhere we did have some wasting in our room. But breakfast was the truest crime. 8dollars per person, everything was empty when we got there and there was no silverware. Why exactly were we paying for that?

Very clean, quiet and safe. My kids and I enjoyed our stay.

Towels were not available. I had to get towels from the pool. This was at 5pm.

We checked in around 5pm the front desk was telling the people in front of me there was no towels in the room and offered discounts. Didn’t say anything the me. When I called to ask if we could get some towels they said we would bring you some soon. 2 1/2 hours later I called back they said in 10 minutes. It took over 3 hours to get a towel. Never offered anything until I asked.

We have stayed here multiple times it is always clean and the staff very friendly.

They charge $8.00 parking fee per nite. I find that unacceptable. You can do that in a major downtown hotel but in Flagstaff AZ. I find that nothing but a scam. Very possible that the hotel is not meeting revenue requirements and this is a way to try and get additional monies. I have cancelled my second stay at this hotel for later this week.

Awful. Couldn’t get a refund for cancellation ahead of time bc we accidentally double booked. Front desk staff practically laughed at us when we checked in and told us it wasn’t their problem and we should take it up with Expedia. When we got into the room my 7 year old son went to the washroom and he even said it was dirty. The next day for breakfast, we asked how much breakfast was and it was $8 a head for muddy coffee and cold/lukewarm eggs. We obviously passed. Our friends we travelled with went down for breakfast ahead of us and didn’t know they had to pay for breakfast, so luckily they didn’t have to pay for a crappy meal.

Friendly staff but didn't know we had to pay for parking and breakfast. There is also a train that kept passing in the area. Will not stay here again.
