The property is in a great location. Close to downtown, but no train noise. Not a ton in power outlets if you travel with a lot of tech, but not a deal breaker.

Neighbors next door decided at 5:30AM letting kids scream and cry nonstop dad started yelling kids and didn't stop. Couldn't fall back asleep it stayed like that all the way to check out. Called the front desk at 7 ish to report it they said they would speak to them never heard them speak to them and noise continued

The staff was great very friendly gave us ice. They didn't have an ice maker onsite but gave us ice. We always like to stay at the Budget Inn!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a microwave and fridge. The location was great because we were in walking distance to Walgreens, a gas station, Jimmy John's, Dunkin Donuts, Chik-fil-a, Panda Express and Chipotle. Walls are pretty thin, so we could hear our neighbors well into the night. Biggest bummer was that beds were super hard. If like that sort of mattress, you'll love this...if not...bring some icy hot patches for your back!!! Overall it's decent for the price.

Although rated highly and located in a good area this place would get a 7.5 at best. Price for value is very poor. Would I stay here again? Not a chance.

The rooms are a little outdated but that really didn't bother us. They were very clean and comfortable. Even when we walked in you could smell how clean it was. And the location was perfect for us. The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me. But my husband liked it. So it was more a personal preference.

For an old style motel, this place is always clean, well maintained and has the amenities we need while visiting our daughter in college. Right across the street from NAU and walking distance to great coffee!

We've stayed here a couple of times. It is not fancy but it is very clean and very comfortable. the check in was easy. I did have an issue with the tv. I called the office and she came right away and fixed it. (Another guest had unhooked something to hook up a gaming system, apparently) It is near NAU and a great launching point for all things Flagstaff or Northern AZ Nothing, it was perfect for the price.

We stayed for one night during the winter. There is free parking available, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The room has an air conditioner with a heating function, which is important in winter. There was a noticeable specific smell in the room, but it was not a cigarette smell. The room was quiet overall. The bathroom door was squeaky. The room was equipped with a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, makeup remover wipes, coffee and tea, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a TV. The bed was soft, with one pillow per person. If you keep the heater on, you won’t get cold. However, for four people we were provided with only three bath towels.

The front desk lady is the sweetest. The hotel was clean. The heat works great. The shower is very clean and very hot. Which is wonderful. The Keurig makes decent coffee. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always a great experience. Affordable and pleasant stay every time.

The property looks a little dodgy from the outside, but the room was great. The property adjoins the Galaxy Diner on Rt. 66. You should definitely go there. It is also convenient to the vibrant downtown area.

For our visit, the price was right and place was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and close to our daughters dorms. Place is good for what we paid for the night.

I thought that the property was nice for his age. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I thought it was a great value for the price.

Clean and plenty of parking. Unfortunately it is pretty old so the furniture is not in the best condition and the bed was rock hard. Luckily we were just staying one night. I could not sleep on that bed for longer than that. Close to food establishments.

The staff were the rudest people I have ever encountered. We were not even there 30 min and left because we felt unsafe! We have disputed the two night stay with our cc company. DONT STAY HERE

Room was basic, we got there late and left early. I can honestly say the room smelled dirty, didnt so much look dirty but furniture, etc was old.

The inn is older. But my complaint is the bedding smelled like sweat odor. It was clean white sheets pillow but it had an odor. It’s a shame cause it was reasonably priced, comfortable, and convenient for my stay.

The room was very nice but the bathroom barely had room for my walker and there was only one safety bar in the shower and it was too low to be of any use. The room was very quiet and on ground level and very close to several restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Galaxy Diner is right behind the motel and BunHuggers bar/restaurant is next door. Both are excellent. There is also a little Thai restaurant and Mexican spot in the next block. We asked for a room on 2nd floor in the middle and it was very quiet. You can request ice from the front office. There is also a coffee maker, microwave and fridge which was handy. The AC/heat was very quiet which is always a huge bonus when staying in a motel. There aren’t any sheer curtains so we didn’t open the shades, making the room very dark during the daytime. Adding sheers would be a really nice touch for those of us who need daylight but don’t want guests looking into our room when walking by. Overall this is a nice motel, good location and pleasant management with a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a good value for what I paid. Everything worked properly and I found the room comfortable. It felt cleaner to me than many other hotels in this price range. Perhaps this is due to the no pets policy and it’s nice to not hear dogs barking in other rooms too. Nothing was lacking in my opinion.

Standard experience, nothing jumped out as notably great or bad. There was some noise from the nearby gas station/car wash; but it's not as noticeable indoors. The room didn't smell, and the AC/heater is good.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I like that they had the heat on prior to entering the room due to how cold flagstaff can get. It’s a great location cause everything is 15 minute walk from here( NAU, bus station,downtown, a lot of fast food options, and shopping centers).

Expensive for a budget stay. $60-70 would have been more appropriate for what it was rather than ~$150 a night, but it was clean and they did have a fridge and a microwave.

There for my son's soccer tournament. We came in early. Did some fun sight seeing and needed a place to spend one night. This is the location that worked for us at that time. Was a quick check in. We arrived late and left early. All was good.

I travel to Flag four or five times a year and always stay at the Budget Inn. It's clean, quiet (as much as could be expected, being on Milton Rd), and very convienient to NAU. Sandi, the manager, is amazing. My last stay, she knew I would be there longer than usual, I found several extra days worth of coffee in my room when I arrived. Also, when I arrived I found that my refrigerator wasn't working. Within 5 minutes of notifying her, I had a new one in my room. I previously tried several other motels in Flag, but once I found the Budget Inn I stuck with it!

Check in/out was easy. The room appealed cleaned but when I plugged in my charger I found an old chicken bone. It made me wonder what else hadn’t been cleaned correctly.

I liked the close location to Northern Arizona University. I wish the heater would go to a higher temperature than 65. The room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable.

It was my fault as I didn’t ask but most hotels today are pet friendly and this one is not. Other than that it was clean and I loved the bathroom counter - pretty spacious and bright. There were more toiletries than the more expensive hotels I’ve stayed in. Very happy.

This was an unexpected great thing. We were in need of a place over Memorial Day weekend. Everything was booked. So we grabbed a room here. Glad we did because we plan on going back and staying here again.
