Tru by Hilton Fayetteville I-95, NC

My kids loved playing pool in the lobby. It really helped after a long drive. My daughter loves the pancake making machine as well.

The rooms and facilities were clean and plenty of room for parking. I had a 20 foot enclosed trailer behind my truck and no problem parking. The breakfast had a diversity of items to choose from.

I would stay at this hotel again!

This is the 3rd time we stay here on pur way to Miami. Right off the highway and one bonus, very well lit and clean parking lot. Highly recommend.

The property was great. Plenty of parking, We had no issues its in a great place from the highway and to downtown. Staff was very helpful and polite . Breakfast was good as well. The only thing I would say is the hallway is stuffy no AC but thats about it. If were ever in the area we will stay here again. Thanks

The pancakes are a great idea but the maker took forever & caused a bit of a line. Maybe have 2 of them like you do with the waffle makers at other locations??

When we arrived and there was a wanted posted on the door, this makes you feel really safe. The internet was down, no TV, and the luggage carts are the worst design I’ve ever used. They are had to steer and you can’t get them into the room. I’ll never stay here again.

I was not happy with this hotel. I was never informed that the internet and the cable was out until I had paid for the evening and I was up in my room. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and honesty. I cancelled my hotel and found another hotel a few blocks away. I am still waiting for a refund.

Room was newly remodeled and clean, with plenty of places to charge my devices. My only complaint has to do with Hilton Hotels as a whole. Their main customer service line is unhelpful when you can't get online. Desk staff was friendly and helpful, however.

Overall the property was great. My biggest pet peeve is finding hair in the bathroom and shower area. Unfortunately I found some out in the open and always turns me off. Overall it was a great stay.

It was a total difference from my stay with this exact Hilton hotel in early April 2026. Not what we’re used to from a Hilton property.

Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was a large dog barking quite frequently during the evening and Throughout the night which was a bit unsettling. It was somewhere on our floor and didn’t comply with requested(as in posted) quiet hours

I paid a little bit more to stay here than I could have compared to the other hotels nearby. However, it was worth it as this hotel is very clean and there are no issues with bad smells or low-class people as there can be in cheap hotels.

I’ve stayed at Tru by Hilton multiple times, and it has always been a reliable choice. The hotel is consistently clean, well-maintained, and feels very safe, which gives me peace of mind during my stays.

I got extremely ill and could not go. I called both the hotel and contacted booking.com. The representative at the hotel was very helpful and said they would reverse the charges. Booking.com however, have advised that they contacted the property and received no response. I will never use booking.com again if this is not rectified

We arrived late evening. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. We left early in the morning. We did not have much time as we did not eat breakfast there wish I had. The area around hotel was fairly busy as it’s near college part of the city.

When we walked in the front desk lady and someone else was smoking very close to door.smoke was blown in are face.

I really liked the little folded egg "omelets." It was easy to slip some sliced ham or sausage inside one and eat it! The HVAC in the room sounds like a jet engine spooling up whenever it turns on and off, which was bothersome at night when trying to sleep. Beds need 4 pillows, not three.

One inconvenience was the lack of a microwave in the room, which would have been helpful, especially when traveling with family. Breakfast was available, but the selection was limited compared to what we’ve experienced at other similar hotels. Additionally, we noticed stains on the bed sheets, which was disappointing and raised some concerns about overall cleanliness. With a few improvements—particularly in housekeeping and amenities—this could be a better experience, but as it stands, it fell short for us.

The hotel is fine, clean friendly comfortable. The problem is I asked for a dog friendly hotel and I was directed to this location. I paid for it the amount that they told me and when I got to the hotel, I was told it was $75 extra for a dog. It was already too late to cancel. I already paid, but there’s no place on your site that tells me that I have to pay extra for a 10 pound dog very disappointing. It should be included or at least the information should be included when you book I did ask for a dog friendly place.

Room was clean and everything was in great shape except for the shower. Very little water pressure. Although the bathroom sink had more than enough pressure.

We stopped here for an overnight trip before we drove to FL. Very cute hotel. Pool table. The rooms were okay. We found hair on our table so I suspect they didn’t clean as well as they should have. Hot water was warm in the shower but that may not be a big deal to some but I like my water scorching lol. Not that many options for breakfast so we ended up going to McDonald’s.

We stopped at this hotel on our way home from vacation and found it to be an excellent choice. It was very clean, and well laid out with everything we needed for our stay. the staff was helpful and texted us once in our room to assure everything was satisfactory and encouraged us to reach out if we needed anything. We did not take part in the free breakfast, but it looked great. We would definitly choose Tru again in the future. Highly recommend!

If you are allergic to animal be warn that this hotel accept pet animal and there where many when we were staying. All flooring is wooded so this make cleaning easier.

I had a clean room and the overall facilities were nice. I didn't get a chance to use the gym, since it was a quick overnight stay and I had to leave early. My only critique is the woman at the front desk. She was polite, but she was not very friendly. I tried to make conversation with her, but she was rather terse with me.

The only issue I really had was when I came to the facility, the individual who I encountered wasn't welcoming. However, when I did leave she made up for it. Everyone else that I encountered was friendly and welcoming the bathroom tissue wasn't changed based off of one was 3/4 used while the other roll was unused.

Almost no shower pressure making it very difficult to rinse shampoo and actually get clean. Also, worst check in experience I have had in a long time. The woman at the desk was not only rude but actively chose to make things difficult. She walked away from the phone when told the booking site was going to call her when there was a problem with my reservation. She then ignored me for a bit when I was given a new confirmation number. She then wouldn’t provide a receipt for food. When I tried to double check that she spelled my name correctly, she condescendingly said “I have your license” when all I wanted to do was be sure she didn’t assume the spelling. She was just outright hostile and nasty. Just a completely horrible experience. I would not book here again.

Great stay and courteous staff. However, the hot water did not work. Justice the front in representative handled all customers with a smile and quickly tried to resolve the issue. The hot water was fixed by the morning but due to Justice speaking to the property manager all customers received a 50% refund as a curtesy-even those who booked with 3rd parties, like me. Tru by Hilton is very clean and modern-I do suggest blackout curtains especially due to checkout is an hour later than most hotels (12 PM). The breakfast was good and the coffee was even better. 5 Star rating if hot water would have been working.

Lots of pot smoking in the parking lot - looked like traveling workers hanging out near their vehicles. Breakfast was not great - opened at 6 - we came down at 6:30 and most of the hot food and an entire coffee urn was empty. Not sure if it ever got refilled - we needed to get on the road. Pet fee is $75/night compared to $30/night at other comparable properties. Not likely to return.

Staff were great. The rooms i was put into were awful. Window blinds wud not go up. When i flushed the toilet, it sprayed back up onto my legs like a geyser. Gross! The shower knob came off when i touched it. The lamps on the nightstands didnt work. Decor was just diabolical…sorry…it was just awful all around. But staff were terrific. No complaints on staff. The hotel needs serious maintenance updates and repairs even for a no frills hotel. Never again.

Wonderful from the moment we checked in, to the time we checked out. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. The shower water didn't get hot to my liking but beyond that it was still a nice size. The lobby had beautiful holiday decor and coloring pages for the kids. There were also different board games to enjoy. This hotel is dog friendly and we enjoyed seeing all different breeds come through. Breakfast buffet was really nice and plentiful. The convenience section of snacks and small food items are highly overpriced. Location was right off the highway with plenty of food choices. Overall I would stay here again.

The staff was cheerful, welcoming, and professional. The room was very clean and roomy, with plenty of amenities included. The breakfast was a nice version of the free continental.

Had the fire alarm go off in the middle of the night, the front desk lady offered us a refund. Everything else was great!

I would have given it a 5 star if I didn’t have a hair in the bathtub and I was able to see a foot print on the bathroom floor coming out of the tub. I still left a tip but please clean the bathroom.

The room was very friendly and very comfortable. I love the shower and the options given for the shower like the soap dispensers. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very good and we enjoyed the breakfast as well..

Clean professional hotel

The TV kept cutting on and off. We asked housekeeper for extra towels and belt, cloths and they did not give it to us until four hours later

My new thang is to look for ”tru” hotels only. Really good hotel in many ways. I even had a refrigerator that didn’t work and was still 100% satisfied. All friendly and hospitable you just can’t go wrong!!

Room was comfortable

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I did make a room request due to the window blind being broken and would not go up. I like natural light. The person at the front desk had no problems with finding me a new room. Breakfast was good. There were various options from cereals, yogurt, eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, etc. I was there for only 1 night, but I would stay again.

Great stay at the Tru by Hilton Fayetteville I-95, NC. Staff was courteous, room was spotless, air conditioning was good. Only thing I would say needs improvement is their making sure their complimentary breakfast is replenished when items run out. At 9:15 am, a couple of the breakfast items had been depleted.

I absolutely loved this place. It was clean and had everything you would need. I loved there was no carpet! First time a staying at an TRU and I will definitely stay again. I’m disappointed that I can’t get a room in Knoxville in October because they are all booked up. Next time maybe…

Cheap cheap cheap, I love the way Hilton Throws their name on this nonsense. Everything in this room could be purchased at IKEA for under $800 and looks like it was. Can’t understand who would say this is wonderful. Was not the cleanest but if it was a nice room then it would not have felt that compounding thought.

I only stayed one night with my dogs but it was a great night. The bed was especially comfortable.

Very clean with a lobby and look designed to appeal to Gen Xers. As an old geezer my issues were tjat the uncarpetes floors resulted in hearing the clomping of the upstairs guests late at night. Fortunately, my sound machine drowned that noise out at full volume. However , just before 6am the next morning the hotel alarm clock went off. The cleaning crew should make sure alarms are off. If you are not sensitive to noise, its a nice, clean hotel with a fun environment.

Staff were great. Breakfast was served and complimentary bottled water was provided.

Staff was great. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok. But whoever their decorator was will never do my house. Didn’t get that warm feeling walking in.

Loved everything about this hotel from the staff to the exceptional hospitality and attention to details. Whoever created this place is simply a genius and is exemplary to how a hotel should be! It made me not want to leave!

The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, which I appreciated. However, I did have a couple of challenges during my stay. The bed sheets were quite wrinkled, which made it difficult to feel sure they were freshly changed. The AC unit was also a bit noisy at night, so it was hard to get a restful sleep. In addition, the room felt quite humid. With a few improvements in these areas, the stay could be much more comfortable. The staff were kind, and I believe with some small adjustments this hotel could offer a very pleasant experience.

The hotel had a weird smell…kinda like smelly feet. Also, someone burnt a bag of popcorn in the lobby and set the fire alarm off at about 10:30 at night. The thing rang for a good half hour. Rooms were large, tv was good, overall clean.

We stopped on way down to FL from CT one night and were traveling with 2 dogs. Very clean, quiet area, and convenient stay! Not a fan of TRU sheets and pillows but we always pack our own pillows so no big deal. No dining options around immediate area of multiple hotels except for fast food chains- very strange. Might be newly developed area but a few restaurants need to be added here. We were exhausted so skipped dinner vs Mc Donalds, Wendy's, Jersey Mike’s….Breakfast buffet was good especially the cool pancake maker! We would stay again but have a dinner plan/takeout before checking in.

Felt welcomed by the open, colorful lobby and friendly staff. Even the other guests milling about were happy and friendly! The room was very large with large windows. Loved it!

The staff was not friendly or attentive at all, the breakfast was out of everything at 9 even though it goes to 10 and they were just in the kitchen talking, not attending to anything and the garbages were overflowing. Terrible staff.

Overall the experience was very good. The only issue was during the breakfast the staff was not attentive to customer needs. The pancake machine was out of the batter and someone had to go back to the kitchen area for help. They were all sitting in there chatting with each other. Also needed to have more maple syrup put out.

The gotel is right off 95 and near several restaurants.

All I could smell was urine on the second floor, hotel would not accommodate the inconvenience. They placed me in a handicap accessible room that I did not book. They will place you wherever they feel fits, contrary to your reservation. I will never stay in this property again. The room was cramp and no storage available. Had to live outside of a suitcase. The staff was excellent. The room itself was clean. It probably would have been a better experience had I received the proper room I booked minus the smell of urine

I needed to find a hotel for the night after a long drive. This hotel was convenient to get on and off the highway. It was very clean and comfortable. My only issue was that the walls are super thin. I could hear conversations the people were having in the next room.

Very comfortable and staff was really nice. I just think each room should have its own microwave. People do go out. For you to come out the room.. elevator, then microwave, elevator..people on elevator around your food. Yuck. Won't be back too fast.

Room space was cramped

It was wonderful no complaints.

The refrigerator in our room did not work. When we called the front desk, we were told they could give us another room, but there was no guarantee that the refrigerator would be working in the new room. There was no maintenance person available. There were no closets in the room and the room was very small but it was very clean. We had to go downstairs to get ice and the ice machine was leaking water onto the floor. There was no microwave in the room and we had to go from the fourth floor down to the first floor.

Hotel was great, staff was very attentive. Our room was very large and clean. Breakfast line was a hot mess but that was from guests with no manners, we ended up leaving because it was so bad. Perhaps a sign saying Start Here or something would help. Otherwise it’s just a cluster of greediness and rowdy kids. We will stay again though.

This was a great one night stay during our road trip. We were happy to find that we could purchase a bottle of wine even though we checked in late and that breakfast had a decent assortment of healthy choices.
