    My stay was way above my expectations. The staff was phenomenal the rooms are extremely clean and this is definitely a hotel that I will me staying at again and agai. Thank you Extended Stay Cliffdale Rd No complaints at all

    Front desk person was wonderful but when we got to the room it smelled clean, but we were immediately greeted with roaches on the counter!!! We turned around and left before we even set anything down!!! I don’t need extra traveling companions- thank you but NO!!! Front desk person immediately refunded us though

    The clerk assured me that I shouldn’t have issues because my room was on the second floor, which is the non-smoking floor, although she mentioned that the third floor can get a little rowdy since it is the smoking floor. As I entered the building to head to my room, I noticed a smoked cigarette on the floor. The elevator was not very clean. Once inside my room, there was a very strong smell of cleaning products, almost as if someone was trying to cover up another odor. The counter and floors were dirty, the beds resembled jail cots, and there was chipped paint throughout the room. I stayed in the room for about 10 minutes before deciding to go back downstairs to request a refund. When I returned to the lobby, I noticed children running and playing in the hallways. I asked the clerk if some of the people were living there, and she confirmed that some residents do live on the property. If you are looking for a clean hotel and a good night’s sleep, this is not the hotel for you.

    Everything was good besides the front desk kept lieing to me for 5 days..from April w0 to April 24 I had no TV. Not even one channel worked well the remote didn't work, and front desk just kept coming up with lies.. about maintenance man coming to check on TV. He never showed up and lkeep saying more people's rooms TVS were also messed up. I asked over 10 people, not just on my floor and everybody's TV was working. So they just keep coming up with lies.. I asked if I could be moved to a different room I asked if we couldn't just switch tv and remote, I asked if there was just anything that they could do and for 5 days. I didn't get not one answer. It would've been a different story if they would've told me about the TV before I paid almost $300, that's a lot of money to spend and not be able to watch TV, not Dimension, I've been staying there for about a month and a 1/2 straight, so I do spend a lot of money staying at extended stay. It's my Go To hotel.. Lies!!!!! And then had the nerve to tell me that if I didn't leave they were calling laws.. Becuz I wont paying for more nights if the TV won't gonna be fix. The walls were so thin you could hear everyone else in the hallway and the noise outside was apparent all night. I ended up not being able to sleep and leaving the same night I checked in.

    The room was spacious, wooden floor. had kitchen, refrigerator, decent bathroom, hot water. Air conditioner working. Key card to enter building for safety. Lots of room for pets, pet welcome facility. Towels available in bathroom. Plenty of parking. they have microwave, complicated to deal with in my part. The front desk is closed 10-11pm at night and does not open until 9am to receive key card for check out. My concern was when some people leave early, key cards are left by closed desk so other people have access to use key card to enter which is dangerous. They need a key card drop off box. Also no breakfast is available. Must bring your own or make your own. But no pots or pans or utensils are available. No coffee maker, no small soap or small shampoo in bathroom, bring own hygiene products.

    The hotel really should rewrite the advertisement it does online!! It is EXTREMELY pet friendly which I hated dogs everywhere!! The stove top sink combo was nice but bring ur own EVERYTHING to go with it even a sink stopper! Now I booked the hotel because it advertised a pool! No pool nowhere the hotel is just a 4 story bland building! No early check-in even though I paid early I still had to leave and find something to do until 3:00. No pool false advertising. The staff was not friendly the guy who checked me in was very nice. The walls are thin so u can hear the next rooms noise! The room had a terrible smell when I first got in thank god the window opened!! The bedding in my room had a dingy sheets I found a clump of hair in the bed. Also a nasty mold like stain by the tub. overall the outside area is quite and the location was actually nice for what I came to do if u book cheap you get what u pay for

    I made a reservation on hotels.com. I showed up before 9 pm. No one was at the front desk. There was a phone that said, dial 0 for after hours check in. I dialed 0. A person picked up and said, "let me call the front desk." I hear a phone ringing behind a locked door. 30 seconds goes by and the lady comes back on the phone and says, "there's supposed to be someone there, but they're not picking up. I don't know how long they'll be gone, but you'll have to wait because your rate in non-refundable." I did not wait, because that is terrible service. I tried to get a refund and they accused me of dialing the wrong number (seriously, 0?). The property smelled like marijuana and looked shady as hell. I am never booking there again.

    Can you imagine getting off the road with 4 kids from a 7 hour drive, going to a hotel you paid for up front and they tell you it’s no rooms available. 1 what’s the point of making reservations and paying up front if you not guaranteed a room. 2 why was I able to book if there were no rooms available. 3 why was there not a option to accommodate my children and I by finding a sister hotel near by and transferring our reservation. 4 why doesn’t the night shift have availability to print receipts nor transfer payments if that’s when the mess up happens. 5 my money was taken from my account within seconds but I have to wait days to get it back as if I’m the one at fault. 6 there was no accommodation discussed like giving me a free room credit or something for the inconvenience of my children and I. I will never try them again. Never!!!! And highly recommend no one else to try it if you looking for a guaranteed spot coming off the road. Then there people sleeping in front of the entrance.

    The sign at the hotel said $50 a night for a week, however, the hotel would not honor that price. There was mold in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi was spotty. The attendant acted upset when I got there to check in.

    Upon arrival, the attendant wasn’t even on site and we had to wait 10 minutes for him to return. Then the room had 2 double beds. One of which had hairs in it. The door didn’t lock properly. I’m the morning, we left at 930am. When we got to the front desk, the door was shut and the woman proceeded to speak to me they the closed door. She asked what we needed and when we said we were trying to check out, she informed us they didn’t open until 10am and to just leave the room key on the ledge.

    It was like living in the projects....The characters were shady....the rooms wasn't clean at all! Gave me a room with someone's underwear in the bathroom....shower wasn't clean...the floors wasn't swept...the microwave wasn't clean....the chairs were sticky...if it wasn't too late to cancel, I would have found another hotel ‼️

    If your looking for a “motel” because this place does not meet nor with stand qualifications of being considered a hotel, that appreciates you spending your hard earned money this is not the place for you. The way staff interact with its customers is a reflection of how they see their leader do the same. With that being said Sarah Williams, the person someone thought would be the person to represent the Choice Hotel brand judgement in the character of people is flawed. Sarah is discourteous, disrespectful, ill-bred, inconsiderate, impertinent, ill-mannered, and thoughtless. I’ve called cooperate on her lack of professional and poor judgement at least three times. I have yet to receive a phone call or email stating they’ve received my concern/complaint and are at least looking into it. When there is an issue and there nothing done to rectify the issue the problem persists. The way she speaks to her guests is as if she’s talking down to them, giving them no respect or appreciation. I’ve tried to contact the owners of that location several times just to make them aware of how their guests are being treated, never received any reply. You can’t just treat paying customers any kind of way. It’s not fair and it’s not the norm. To speak on the uncleanliness of the rooms here are some pic of the filth. This is supposed to be a cleaned room that I had just entered. I went to the front desk asked for their cleaning supplies and this was the end result. No one had yet reached out to me.

    The “Manager” Sara was rude from day one, she told my husband she doesn’t allow any Riff Raff at her hotel (Yet, the place is loaded with wife beating, drug dealing, gang bangers) she knocks on all the doors at 9:30am and yells FRONT DESK with such attitude in her tone, to see if you are staying over or checking out. You never see a housekeeper, you have to take out your own trash, the walls are paper thin, (our next door neighbor use to Beat up the female in the room daily and then make it up to her extra loud ) it has cockroaches, the bed is so uncomfortable, Sara allows children on the smoking floor(3) common sense would tell you children should not be around smoking, and finally it’s in a terrible neighborhood! Save your money and find a different place to stay.

    If you desire even basic customer service or even being treated like a human being than THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE TO GO. the staff seems to have a power complex with no regard for human feelings. My mother who was also staying at the property had to PAY 40 dollars just for a replacement key she's traumatized from the dozens of bed bug bites. I stay for all but 3 weeks and although I was only there at night and gone for work most days paid well over hundred of dollars only to be asked to leaved for no reason. If your a person of color or a person of low socioeconomic status you will be treated poorly and discriminated against. I was falsely accused for things I had nothing to do with harrassed and followed on several occasions and even I'm blessed to be away from that place ....my room had nothing but roaches and the entire property looked deplorable. Don't loose your key and there's no overnight staff and they shut the laundry room down even though it's 24 hours supposedly. Please stay away you will thank me later

There were a lot more roaches inside the room, especially where the kitchen area and bathroom were. Even turning on the water in the shower, a roach came flying out of the faucet where the water comes out. The shower had not been cleaned. There was hair on the shower curtain and dirt from where someone else had used it. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The whole floor wreaked of weed. I could smell it as soon as I stepped foot onto the elevator. The staff were not friendly or helpful in any way. Worst stay I’ve ever had in a hotel. Would never go back.

    Staff was nice but room was dirty. There were roaches crawling all over the floor and bed and wall. One got in my son hair. I checked out the same night. Was given refund.

    It was horrible Blood was in my sheets, not only that Roaches everywhere. To too add insult my kids found Condoms in the clean towels.

    The room smelled, everything was extra, you would think a suite would have utensils but there was nothing, I mean nothing. Room walls are paper thin, you hear everything, I mean everything! If you stay here set your expectations very low.

    That said, when I arrived and was informed it would be three hours until I could check in, I brushed it off. During a pandemic obviously it takes more time. So I went and ate some food at sat in my car for a couple hours. Asked for a smoking room, as these are often the cleanest if you can believe it. It wasn't available by 6pm so I took what I could On the plus side, my non smoking room was smoked in immediately prior to my arrival so it was like I had the same room anyway. I did my usual rounds, the windowsill had ash on it from cigarettes. The bed was made but the linens reeked of cigarettes. The floor was not mopped. The space between bed and wall was dirty, there were socks in the bathroom (so obviously the bathroom hadn't been cleaned either) As I applied a heavy coat of lysol all over my room and particularly the bed in the hopes of killing the cigarette stink, someone legitimately walked into my room. There was standing water in the bath tub, and my bed was maybe a step up from an army cot. Or tried to. Luckily I had the slide lock on. During normal times I would have had zero issues but this is a global pandemic and this business had no problems putting me in a dirty room. I would recommend if you can't afford anything else, bring disinfectant wipes and spray.

    Staff was unhelpful, not enough linen, 3 of us in the room only 1 towel and refused to give us more, tub had mildew and was not clean we had to buy cleaning supplies and clean ourselves. The bathroom light didn't work and was very dim, the exhaust fan didn't works that well. There was an extra charge for everything. Zero amenities.
