Motel 6 Dallas, TX - Farmers Branch

The room is really clean and I really appreciated that. I did find it odd that during the day when I had come back to my hotel room to rest that the AC system has been removed from the wall for cleaning. I had not been notified that that would be happening. I would’ve appreciated a heads up. Luckily, I was able to rest a little before they came back to finish cleaning and reinstalling the unit.

Check-in was easy and the lady was courteous. Had vending machines with microwavable food items which was very convenient.

That it was a room Having to kill huge cockroaches no microwave, no fridge , front desk staff poor costumer skills , bathroom light stopped working

Farmers branch itself is a beautiful city. This motel is right by a bunch of roadworks so be prepared for that. Other than that, the towels were very tiny but the tub was appreciated. They also be sure you have a parking pass, so that's good. Check in was quick and easy. Will definitely stay there again when im in town.

You would think the property manager would pay close attention to a horrible smelling room with a worn out mattress before renting it out, It showed me that the property manager has bigger concerns about renting a room under horrible conditions As opposed to accommodate patriot with a clean tidy room

I do not recommend this place. While the front desk clerk was there when I checked in, I went back with a question and didn’t find him for a while. There was a hair in the tub, mildew in the corner of the shower and the pillows (not the covers) I swear have never been changed. The bed was terrible and the door had damage around the lock. I had the thought about what I would do if someone broke in and how would I protect my daughter and myself. After sleeping only a few hours, I woke and booked us over at the Renaissance North Dallas only 1.7 miles away. Just ate the cost.

Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and professional. Reasonable room rates and pretty quiet surroundings make this place a great value for your stay, extended or short.

Room was non-smoking, but reeked of old cigarettes and mold. There was no refrigerator. The doors would not unlock with the key card once used. You had to go back to the office to have them redone each time. The walls and floor needed updating/cleaning.

"Breakfast" is an exaggeration. Druggies and homeless coupled with the traffic noise, just...never again. Noise from other guests at all hours of the night. Door was broken.

But some of the employees have become rude and on my last visit, after I made a mistake and owned it, they put me on the Do Not Rent list, causing me to have to sleep in my car that night. They treated me like I had never stayed there before. I would not recommend them to anyone ever again. Studio 6 on Finnell Street has great customer service and worth the extra few dollarshave become rude and

Water came pouring into the bathroom in the room I was in from the cleaning crew dumping, and running water in the room above me. I couldn't use the shower, because I didn't want to be held liable for the damage even though I immediately reported it to the desk clerk. I showed them what was happening, and he came back much later to "fix" it. The desk clerk also didn't bring extra towels to mop up the mess until the next day. I had to use the in room ones to contain the mess. I was not offered a new room so I had to make do.

Convenient location That I didn't stay the whole 6 days of my reservation and Motel 6 said I would get a refund since I only ended up stay in 2 nights. My refund should be $210.00 according to my check out receipt.

The facility complex is very clean.

The location is nice and the pool always seems inviting. The price is very affordable and the rooms have an ok layout for an actual motel The water pressure in the shower, or rather there lack of. AND…..THE ROCHES!!!

Listen. No one stays at a Motel 6 for a spa experience. It’s always clean and the bed is comfy! I left my purse at home (old lady brain issues) and the woman at the front desk tried all she could to get me checked in. I was lucky enough to have a copy of my drivers license, front AND back. I’m a customer for like now!

The HVAC unit did not blow hot or cold, but came on with a roar automatically every 15-20 minutes, but it did drown out the traffic noise in 5 minute intervals. Only two small pillows, one hard, one like mush, no refrig or coffee unit, one of the beds had blood drops on the sheets, and the other bed had tears in the sheets… but to their credit, the room counter top, table and shower was clean… stay at your own discretion

The parking lot was too unsafe with lots of homeless people and they were smoking weed and my girlfriend was too uncomfortable and we couldn’t even sleep in the house A/C doesn’t work and there are not utilities in the bathroom and it was not clean at all

A/C didn’t work just beeping in the night. Had to unplug and there were roaches in the bathroom. The room had the worst smell and strange people everywhere that looked like they live there permanently. I arrived early. And they couldn’t hold my bags. I had to walk around with them for 3 hrs. No early check in. No mini fridge. Over all not satisfied.

My stay at Motel 6 in Farmer's Branch was uncomfortable. The AC unit was uncontrollable, knobs not working. You had to plug it in and unplug. The curtain over window had several holes, the room had an unbearable stinch of sewage. There was No refrigerator or microwave in the room. It was very inconvenient.

She will cut off your sentence because she knows what you're about to say and put her hand up in your face because she's tired of your face making noise at her. That's the feel of it anyways.

I was literally harrassed on the daily. I payed via expedia app. And even though i had made a payment and paid for the room. They would not let me stay in the same room. They said they dont give room extensions on the weekends. Which means i have to check out and check back in. But i spoke with other guest and they werent getting kicked out of their room. and made to check back in at 2pm. And then once 2pm hit the manager tried to give me a run around about how there are no rooms. I dont have a car at the monent so i had to move all my stuff to the curb and wait until check in. This went on for a few days. The manager said if i let her know i would be saying a day prior this wouldnt hapoen so i did that and paid usually on the app. After i paid one morning for the room. One of the manager bangs on my door and tells me i have 15 min to get out or they were gonna call the police. I told him i already paid he said he didnt care. They wouldnt and to this day have not given me a reason why they did this. I wasnt violating any policies. Or anything. It was for myself,my husband and my pregnant sister. We had gone to this motel because the same thing happened at another property in North Dallas. Motel 6 on forest ln. And come to find out they are owned by the same franchise owner. This is completely unprofessional. And messed up! I got kicked out and they canceled by reservation. Im still super upset with this and find it completly unacceptable.

The property wasn’t very accommodating. My refrigerator in my room had a bag of needles on the top shelf. I wasn't able to get extra pillows and blankets for my room. Housekeeping only came to my room one time and I stayed for 6 nights. Overall had a terrible experience here and will never return there again

Well in spite of the wrong dates of when I was suppose to get there(Expedia had 3/21 to 3/2205 which I might of overlooked that) I thought I was getting a room from the 3/20 to 3/21/2025 The Man on duty there fixed us up a room anyway so we had a place to stay. It was clean, the curtain closed out almost all the lights. The staff was real friendly. Yer would recommend and would stay there again

A room across the way kept going in and out of the room every 10-15 mins from approximately midnight till 2 or 3 am. They would leave and come back about 5 mins later, making it hard to sleep with door closing loudly and going up and down stairs. This happened both nights I stayed there. By time I arrived i just wanted to sleep so i attached the top latch, but the door kept blowing open. I had to use all my luggage to hold it closed. Pricing is great.

It was very loud more so then other places. My room door latch was broken and should of been attended to, also said it would be. First 1.5 nights we didnt realize it and door was opened the next day. Half the door latch would come ajar from the door, you could see the lock separated from the door.

I thought the room was big, and clean. it had a Micro/Fridge, and a fresh paint job. The staff was friendly, and everything was as advertised. I would give a better rating if it weren't for the Fire Station right next door, with emergency vehicles leaving with sirens blaring 2-3 times each hour...all night long. All in all, it was worth the 60 bucks a night for a single, but the noise made it average in stead of good.

For the most part they are ok. I have stayed here a couple times(convenient for work) and about $15 cheaper then the others around(but i think for $15 is time to try the others around), the rooms I have stayed claim smoke free but they still have the smell overall. I have only stayed to spend the night so only a few hours. I would recommend tho, you get what you pay for. Staff for the most part has been nice.

My room had an AC that was shorting out. When we could get it to stay on it would beep every few seconds. The TV remote didnt work. And the only outlets that worked were the two near the bed. We were given one towel one hand towel and a few wash clothes. It was a non smoking room that smelled like an ashtray.
