The room and property were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted you every time you walked in the door or in just in passing.

The hotel is showing many signs of aging, from broken USB ports to squeaky/clanky doors and worn surfaces. Also, there was a mixup with the room I was assigned, and it took a long time to resolve it. The staff were nice enough but did not show any concern for my time or the mistake they made.

It was a good hotel.

Our room was on the first floor across from the 24 hour laundry that's loud, with items clunking around in the dryer at all hours. Breakfast starts at 6a, with the waffle maker beeping every few minutes. We could clearly hear guests speaking in the hallway outside our door as clearly as if they were in our room. Not my idea of a good hotel experience, quite the opposite. I booked months in advance, checked in before 5p and was told this is the only available room! I find that hard to believe on a Thursday afternoon with a nearly empty parking lot. There is almost never anyone available at the front desk; you have to ring a bell and wait. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately the shower door wouldn't close all the way and it made a horrible screech when attempting to open or close it. The kitchenette was well stocked, had the needed items.

Room 125 9/13/25 smelled like a bottle of cologne was dropped in the entire room. It was very uncomfortable. Upon complaint I was told I can’t change rooms because I used a towel and opened the soap in the bathroom. The staff told me there was a man staying in that room for a month before my check in that used that cologne. It wreaked the entire stay with the window open and AC full blast.

Breakfast was hot with sausage/ waffles/eggs The rooms are small but new and clean. We got king bed with a sleeper and they were all jammed in one small room.

The room smelled horrible. Like a mildew smell, the tv didn’t work, staff tried entering the room when they were told over 6 times not to come in. They proceeded to open the door & my boyfriend had to get loud so they would leave.

Kyle and the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved that the room had some basic kitchen stuff - especially a drip machine as I'd left mine at home. Absolutely loved the location and the hotel was SPOTLESS. I really have not stayed at a better hotel in maybe 5 years. Couldn't think of a single thing

All in all, we were very pleased with just about everything & everyone at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott El Paso North. The only issue we had was that it being a Friendly Pet Hotel, which charges you an extra $50, why not have a designated area where your guest Fur Babies can relieve themselves. Nothing but medium size rocks throughout the perimeter of the property. Aside from that we were very pleased with everything else, especially the staff who provided Great Customer Service.

Amazing hotel. Modern, new. Rooms even have a full kitchen! Will definitely come back. Only place in El Paso I will stay.

Pet friendly yet barely coming in with belongings and all my dogs are going to bark a little while getting settled and not even 10 minutes checked in neighbor had already complained of my dogs making noise at 7pm! Not like it was at 1am my dogs were decent enough when we settled in. This is not PET FRIENDLY what so ever!

When I got there, no one was at the front desk and I had to wait a long time to check in. There was what appeared to be prostitution going on in the lobby. It is in a very bad part of town. Would not stay here again due to safety concerns.

Would have given this hotel an overall 5 stars, BUT.... The "breakfast" was awful. Plastic food, little choice, far from appetizing or healthy. For the room rates, a hot, healthy breakfast offering should be a given. Otherwise, a lovely place.

Nothing fancy buts it’s a nice, modern & comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly, rooms are nice & clean. 2 pluses are the work out center & breakfast. I’ve stayed here before & I’ll most likely be back when I’m in the area.

Everything the location the staff, breakfast was excellent chose this over a private home rental. That home rental had too many restrictions. This hotel was very welcoming of my family.

it was clean and in an ok area their pet patch is horrible. there are many options to have a better pet area without taking away customer areas. the cats roaming the area was ridiculous. the driveway is like a maze.

clean and friendly staff tv didn’t work. The front desk staff came and reprogrammed it and it worked for a few minutes but after they left I was unable to change the channel. the next day, it wasn’t working again.

Positives were very friendly staff and the looks of the hotel were nice. They clearly upgraded things and the look was very modern, which was nice. Cons: worst bed I have ever slept on. I am in my 30's and have never experienced back pain until we slept here. Looks can't be everything, you have to put some quality into your hotels. Worst mattress ever!

My husband and I were in town for a short overnight trip so we didn’t spend much time in the hotel but it was clean and nice. There was a great kitchenette. We would definitely come back for a longer stay!

I stayed here for a week and was super comfy the entire time. I love the idea of having an actual thermostat on the wall to control the heating and cooling unit. Also, the large closet was a nice touch. I stayed for a week and by the end of my stay, I was sad because it felt like I was leaving a cool apartment.

The hotel is new however my room wasn’t clean. My room had scuff marks on walls, bathroom was missing toiletries. Asked staff for items but no response. Fridge had broken drawer. I booked a suite which shouldve came with separate eating area but it didn’t. I don’t usually complain or write reviews but I didn’t see the value for my money.

For the most part the hotel was comfortable and clean. Because of covid I did wipe down more common surfaces myself with my own disinfectant wipes, and surprisingly there was more discoloration (dirt for lack of a better word) showing on the wipes which leads me to believe my unit had been empty for a while or maybe just had not have the cleaning it needed. I’m overall satisfied with the stay and would book again.

All the room amenities were nice. Room was really not big enough for a sleeper sofa, but we made it work.
