The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park

The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, and we especially enjoy the views of downtown El Paso. One of the things that keeps us coming back is the staff—they have always been friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stays. The location is also excellent, with easy access to downtown restaurants, entertainment, and local attractions. Whether we're visiting for work or a weekend getaway, The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park consistently delivers a great experience. We look forward to staying here again on future trips to El Paso.

Had a wonderful time, it was perfect for a little get away for my wife and I. Will definitely be back. The staff was amazing and helpful. They didn’t hesitate to give us a late check out.

We had a serious issue with our shower. It was either cold or scalding - all 3 mornings.

The room was very clean. We had clean towels everyday and bed. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect for exploring downtown, with restaurants, attractions, and shops within walking distance. We especially loved the unique character of the property, the relaxing atmosphere, and the attention to detail. The amenities were excellent, and everything exceeded our expectations. Our only complaint is that our stay wasn’t long enough! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to coming back.

This was my first visit to El Paso, and this property FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. Helpful staff and pristine rooms. It was very close to some cool spots for nightlife, and the restaurant bar was fantastic! I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in El Paso.

The Plaza is a fantastic hotel with an excellent restaurant, breakfast and two really fun bars. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed twice and an always completely satisfied with the entire experience.

Lovely historic hotel with a sweet & helpful staff. We would stay here again. The location is great, with many nice restaurants in walking distance. Also nearby is the El Paso Museum of Art, which is well worth checking out.

It was a very nice hotel, especially BTS was staying at this hotel while we were there. Unfortunately we could not stay 2 nights, due to such high demeand for hotels at that time.

The room was roomy, very clean and most of all quiet. You did not hear people talking or pounding on roof from upstairs room. Shower was excellent. Breakfast in the restaurant was prepared exactly as ordered. Everything was beyond good.

This was a one night stop with our dog driving across country. We picked it for the valet parking but were pleasantly surprised with what a beautiful hotel it was. Staff were all so welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Centrally located. The staff at every department or amazing. The rooms were amazing and comfortable. The side I was on I had to allow music going from some club down the street. Friday and Saturday night it kept me up till 1:30 in the morning. Also I couldn’t get my air conditioner fan to stay on, ended up cracking the window for air

My Favorite hotel! This was our 4th stay and I already cannot wait to go back. It’s so beautifully decorated throughout. The staff is too notch, the bar is wonderful and the food is Outstanding! Kudos to the Chef. They have an indoor mesquite fire oven visible from the dining room that imparts just the right amount of smokiness to create the perfect steak, burgers and babacoa.

By far the best hotel gym!!! Room is beautiful, staff is the best, valet drives are hustlers and remember your name and your car. The restaurant and bar are too noche! One of my favorite hotels compared to all the hotels in the 52 countries I’ve traveled to.

Nice rooms. Attractive classic common areas with outstanding bar and kitchen.

There was no breakfast included and the only parking options is Valet parking for a fee of $30 per night. However, my stay felt luxurious and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location is also convenient to lots of things to eat and there is a lot of police patrols which makes you feel very safe.

Unfortunately there was no hot water in the shower. Shower faucet was complicated and very hard to manipulate. I believe hard water has made it where you need a lot of strength to open and close.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown El Paso. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, which made the experience even better. The service was excellent across the board—friendly, professional, and attentive. One of the highlights was enjoying the vibe of the hotel itself, from the lobby atmosphere to the rooftop views. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a high-end, memorable experience. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting El Paso. It’s easily one of the best stays I’ve had.

Great area, very beautifully decorated & decently priced. Very old TV, could not connect Netflix, even though it was an option. Cleaning staff left our door open, luckily nothing was stolen but it could have been!

We asked to get another room, they said they were fully booked but didn't provide us any solutions or answers while we were sitting in the lobby for a whole hour in the middle of the night. The staff has terrible problem solving skills and communication. I hope they get this fixed

The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. I got to the hotel after check-in time and the room was not ready.

( Internal outage in the hotel) Security needs to do a be more vigilant and watch who comes in and out of the building ( had a homeless guy knock on my door 3 times in the middle of the night) ( tried calling security or front desk from room phone but phones didn't work)

The hotel is nice however they had a major flaw during this stay. Our bathroom was not cleaned on one of the days and our room was not cleaned at all during another day. Very poor cleaning staff during the holiday and these were brought up to management. Also one of the towels had a bunch of hair on it. Don't think we would stay here again.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is by far the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautiful - common areas and the rooms themselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was luxurious.

Hotel is beautiful, with thoughtful touches in the rooms & very spacious. Albeit a beautiful building & interior, literally around the corner you feel a very different atmosphere & wouldn’t recommend straying too far as we were accosted by some very unsavoury characters that required an aggressive response.

There could be a fair amount of street noise depending on what is going on in the area around the hotel. When I stayed there, it was not much of an issue.

Great location; staff are excellent and polite. Internet solid (could easily attend video meetings). Only suggestion is they disconnect the "eco friendliness" features in the rooms because lights were constantly going on/off and A/C fan couldn't be manually set to any speed, which was slightly frustrating when you wanted fan-white-noise at night or just a more powerful fan after getting out of the shower. Otherwise I'd stay here for certain again.

This hotel thought of everything! Full to the max with ambience and art! We enjoyed live jazzy music on a Thursday evening in a beautifully decorated space. Breakfast had very unique plate choices. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay, this is definitely the place! The staff was outstanding!

Beautifully surprised! The upgrades, the decor, the staff all great! Welcoming our ES pets with warmth. Offered us dog begs and bowls but we travel with our own. We will definitely be staying here again!

It’s my favorite place to stop when I’m heading for San Antonio from Arizona. It’s exactly halfway for me. It’s amazing hotel barn. Hilton did a great job back in the day.

Room was clean, great decor, espresso machine, and loved the variety of snacks, drinks, and alcohol available for purchase. However, room had thin walls, got woken up by housekeeper cleaning next door, and you can hear people walking on the top floor. not much counter space in the bathroom, black out curtains not really blocking sun out in the morning. overall, stay was great! gym was well equipped and I enjoyed my work out. restaurant and roof top was really nice, great food and drinks!

My stay was 5 days. For 2 nights i couldn't get to sleep until after 2am, as music was booming. I believe it was coming from a place behind the Kress building arcoss the street. Dont sleep in room 905. Also, no microwave, advise staff/front desk.(no help) I ate there, so how do I warm leftovers?? Management, should look into this as well and deep cleaning around the toliet floor where urine spots have been stain into the marble floor. Even though it was clean, it still made me uncomfortable.

Everything was very nice with the exception of the smell in the halls. For whatever reason, there's a really bad sewer smell in the hallways of the lower floors. The place would've been 5 stars if it didn't have the smell in the halls.

This hotel has a beautiful rooftop bar with a sunset view of the mountains. The rooms a updated and large. The Ambar restaurant on the first floor was delicious too. Great place to stay if you are passing through el paso on your college drop-off journey like us!

We love the Plaza Hotel in El Paso. Just wish the city would finish whatever it is they are constructing around downtown.

Our start was perfect! The room was large and beautiful with modern amenities. The whole bathroom was gorgeous with ac walking shower. The restaurant located near the lobby was delicious. Will definitely stay here again!

Really wonderful stay at the Plaza. Stayed in a Landmark Suite and it's definitely worth the upgrade. This is a very well-done and cared-for hotel in a fantastic city-center location. Service was above average. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The building itself is iconic—art deco architecture with stylish, carefully restored interiors that nod to the hotel’s storied past. My room was beautifully appointed, with thoughtful design details, plush bedding, and stunning views of the city and Franklin Mountains. The ambiance felt warm, upscale, and distinctly Texan with a touch of vintage glamour. Although the hotel doesn’t have a pool, the atmosphere more than makes up for it with its vibrant bar scene, luxurious rooms, and walkable location near museums, coffee shops, and cultural landmarks. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, The Plaza offers a sophisticated retreat in the center of it all. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and upscale El Paso experience.

Stayed on a flood that had a very bad sewer odor in the hall which started coming in to the bathroom in the morning of my stay. The mini bar also had many expired items. I will definitely request a room on a much higher floor for my next visit.

The hotel is amazing, the downside is that it is very noisy at knight. They offered a bottle of white wine with the stay they never delivered

This place is amazing!!

Facility, location room everything was great. There is a nightclub on the top floor that put you in the middle of a thump thump. If you’re there on a Friday and Saturday night. Made it very hard to fall asleep.

Staff was super friendly! Food from restaurant is tasty. Drinks from bar are delicious! Super comfy room.

We always stay in this hotel on our way from Dallas to San Diego. It is clean and nice. Staff always great.

This property is high-end and gorgeous!!! High-end restaurant within the hotel with Michelin status. Other high-end restaurants are across the street with coffee shops.

Breakfast in room wasn’t as good and no table took away the “experience” I hoped to share with the family.

I called at 5am to see if I could get an earlier check in, and was told yes that noon would work. I arranged my schedule and was excited to nap and have some down time, I was told that was not correct and I could not check in until 3. Thankfully they were able to accommodate a nice bathroom to freshen up in, I grabbed lunch, then had to wait 2 more hours to get our room.. oh well I guess. We ordered room service after some phone misunderstandings I thought we were good! Around 35/40 minutes later I was called to ask what the entree I ordered was.. the tenderloin.. so not super hard I believe. Then was called about 2 minutes later again saying everything else is ready and should be up and the entree was being cooked.. told her I have to leave very soon so how much longer and was told a short time frame. I was then called again very soon and a man told me everything is being cooked and should be to me within 20-30 minutes and would be on them.. unfortunately we had to go and were left without being able to eat or drink during our stay since we had to leave at 3 am to the airport, honestly very disappointed since this hotel seemed very nice

It was ok. We went when there was a fiesta going on downtown so the music didn’t stop til midnight.

The hotel is nice; front desk staff is rude. The staff at restaurant were very polite and attentive. Gal at the front desk was verbally rude to my guest after asking if they sold postcards. Funny how at our next hotel stops; on our road trip, gave us free postcards.

The roads around the hotel are under construction, and it is a nightmare getting in and out of there

Our family stayed over Easter weekend visiting our son. Our third visit and The Plaza never disappoints. Decor is an amazing blend of Art Deco and southwest. Generous rooms, covered parking and friendly staff. Relaxing bar with abundant drink variety. Highly recommend.

Needs attention

Gorgeous hotel. Loved the location. Minor? Complaint. Shower had hair on the wall that didn’t belong to me. After 3 days, those hairs remained there. Was the shower really clean??

Hotel itself so nice. Surrounding area was a lil rough. Entrance was confusing. All in all was a good stay.

This hotel is a great place to stay downtown. The restaurant & bar is good and we always enjoy the comfortable rooms. We have probably stayed here about 8 times and on our most recent stay I was worried about arriving late at night with a big truck and trailer and having to find parking downtown assuming that they would not be able to accommodate that. I was so happily surprised that for a fair fee they offered secure gated parking very near for my large rig.

The best hotel in El Paso. Centrally located and convenient. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel is is gorgeous, our room was clean and had great decor. The only hotel I will stay at from now on.

I will highly recommend this hotel. Easy access to dining options and easy access to highway.

Amazing bar with old time appeal. Rooms are all updated and new. Very quiet and blackout curtains in every room. A Bluetooth speaker in the room is a nice touch. Just all around premium service at a great price.
