    Some stains on the carpet and weird murky standing water near the steps, but otherwise decent. Also, had a few little bugs in the bathroom. Like I said, $200ish for two nights was good enough for me. But, just wish it was a bit cleaner and had TV in my room.

    Room was very dirty :( the walls had feet marks on them . The shower had dry boogers or something that looked like it. I was very disappointed sometimes people choose these hotels because of the names but honestly they are no better than a run down motel 6or super 8 the carpet were full of stains and missing base boards .. never again will I stay at this location.

    We usually stay at this hotel when in El Paso and have never had any issues until this most recent trip. This time we arrived around 11:30pm. Upon arriving we checked in, got our keys and headed to our room. After unloading the car we went to our assigned room to find the keys didn't work. Went up to the front desk and he said it was a mistake that he had forgotten the room had already been assigned. So then he need to physically check another room before being able to get us in there. He said its good to go so we take our stuff up the stairs to the room. After a short while we find that the bathroom does not flush. Seeing as we just got in from a long trip and it was midnight we called the front desk and had to be switched to another room. This time the receptionist was much nicer even apologizing and told me he would be comping enough points for a one night stay onto my IHG account. I more than appreciated that, considering the inconvenience after arriving to town. However, it has been a week since we checked out and the points were never added. Normally a great hotel but disappointed that on top of the mishaps, word wasn't kept on at least giving us those IHG points.

    Angela upfront at the reception area was absolutely hands-down, caring, professional, and made me feel so incredibly welcome! Going through a difficult time with my mother, she understood and assisted me in every way possible. The room was excellent and felt safe having my car in their parking lot. It’s my preferred place to stay when in El Paso.

    Lobby was really nice. Although, I was quite annoyed that the staff put me in a room where the elevator doesn’t work and I had little ones. Was a lot trying to haul stuff up the stairs with a toddler. Also. The rooms didn’t look very clean. Bath tub was kind of ehhh. Definitely could use some updates.

    This is a unique property that we mostly enjoyed. The staff was accommodating, but the breakfast that you have to pay for is extremely limited. The hot tub was down most of our stay, while the "heated" pool was freezing and that was the main reason I booked this property. Also, there are no elevators in the villas, so definitely make sure you're accommodated with any disabilities.

    1. Substandard Room Conditions (Bi-Level Room) Upon checking in, we discovered that our room was in a state of neglect. Specific issues included: • Hygiene: The carpets and walls were visibly dirty, and the shower had not been properly sanitized. • Maintenance: The downstairs television would not power on, and the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak with no hot water available. • Safety/Security: The sliding door was stuck and could not be closed or locked properly, which is a significant security concern. • Service Failure: Despite calling to report these issues, no one was sent to assist us, and housekeeping failed to clean our room entirely during our stay. 2. Professional Misconduct & Service Failure The most distressing part of our stay occurred at 1:30 AM on May 4th 2026. After returning from a concert, our key cards failed to unlock the gate to our room. I called the front desk to request assistance, as we were carrying food and were exhausted from walking. The only male staff member at the front deskon duty was incredibly rude and dismissive.

    The room was okay stuff at check-in was good stuff at checkout was horrible, I would say if you're using your credit card for check in using Expedia in that and the hotel asked you to give them your card to place a $25 hold for incidental fees to make sure that's all you're being charged is the 25 I had an incident where they overcharged so keep an eye out for that they did reimburse but if they're going to say a certain amount it should be that amount; as far as pool and breakfast and all of that other stuff I couldn't give a good rating because I didn't use any of those

    Sometimes you just go to a property on an off day and sometimes you just have a bad experience that is not the norm and I feel like that's what happened to me so I don't want to paint this as a nightmare hotel. The common areas are REALLY REALLY nice. The bar, the restaurant, the pool & Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi wasn't hot when I wanted to get in around 8pm. They tried their best to heat it up but it takes some time so I ended up going to bed before it got hot. A bummer but they at least did something about it to try to make it work out for me. It seems like the rooms are very hit or miss. Mine was pretty nasty if I'm going to be honest. I had a king bed room and the furniture was chipped, stains on the carpet and the bathtub had black mold, paint in it, rust around the drain (no drain cover) and chips in the actual tub. That was my second room since there were some kind of bugs in the bed in my first one. The next morning I saw some rooms that had double beds that looked really nice so, maybe get a room with double beds and you'll be better off The staff was great, They hire very cool people. There were apologies and they were super nice. The next day it looked like they had the Jacuzzi working and people were having a really nice time out there so like I said, I think maybe I just had an uncharacteristically bad experience that isn't the norm. But I'd say the quality of the rooms don't match the quality of the common areas so be prepared for that shocker.

    When we checked in we were told about breakfast hours. The next morning we went down to breakfast and learned that you have to pay for breakfast unless you had a voucher which was apparently not included in our booking. Overall it wasn’t a terrible stay but it was definitely missing the basic amenities you de expect at a hotel. We would’ve been better off at the holiday inn right next door.

    I have to explain my poor ratings because not everything was bad. The first room #7105-we were assigned was absolutely horrible-the carpet and hassock were stained in numerous places. There was no hot water. The toilet flush handle was actually broken, which we discovered the hard way, couldn’t flush. And when I tried to call the desk the phone wasn’t working! Only one bed side table & lamp. When I called via cell, the desk didn’t initially offer an apology and agreed to give us a new room. No apology or recognition of the inconvenience. Or credit or refund offered. New room was fine. Lobby excellent, very clean, good security fencing and gates around property.

    This property is an older hotel. It was clean, but the rooms need some updating.There are no ports to charge your phone, so bring a block with you in order to charge devices. There is a desk in the room to work which was nice. The carpet in our room needed to be cleaned, but overall the room, bedding, towels, bathroom was clean. The main complaint that we had was that we paid for breakfast on the Expedia site. The first morning we did get our breakfast. We had bacon, eggs, fruit and toast and it tasted good. This hotel operates differently than most Holiday Inns in that your breakfast is cooked to order. The second morning, however, (Saturday) the cook did not show up and apparently they only have one, so breakfast was not available. This did not make us happy at all. On Sunday, we were going to eat breakfast before we left El Paso, but at 7:00 am, when it was supposed to be open, there was no one to cook breakfast. Again, not a happy customer. They really need to re-evaluate how they handle their "cook to order" breakfast and operate like most other hotels that offer breakfast. The breakfast is not free. You pay for it and we paid for it thru Expedia's site and the hotel did not deliver. Other than that, the hotel is adequate and I would recommend, but just eat breakfast elsewhere.

    It's design consisting of a tight cluster of small buildings like an ancient adobe village, with numerous walkways and ramps. I felt like I was in an ancient time, and enjoyed the reference to Native American heritage. The rooms were very modern tho!

    Over the room and left in trash can. We we complained to the front desk the manager walked us to over to the room next door and it was somewhat decent, we were exhausted just got out of work and drove 4 hours. Got settled in and noticed that the carpets have not been vacuum probably in a week or longer. We didn’t bring it to the manger’s attention due to the exhaustion and overwhelmed by the filth of the first room. Property looks run down. We will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

    Bad experience. At check in front desk clerk was acting extremely rude. Room had a dirty feeling to it. Definitely not what we expected for the higher price they charge compared to other hotels around it that we have stayed at before. We left the next day without the breakfast so cant comment on that. Will not be returning we have had much better experiences at less priced stays near the Sundland Park race track area. They need immediate improvements for what they are charging.

    This is the third time I've stayed at this property. This time, I was disappointed by two things. I stayed two nights and the housekiping service wasn't provided the next day. Breakfast is with extra cost, which isn't a problem, but given the cost, it's better to have a breakfast nearby.

    Location was great not difficult to get to where I needed to go, I was treated beyond great by Brett and Ali they were very customer friendly,great attitude. My wife is in a wheelchair and the room we got was not what we needed, Brett handled my situation quick and gave us another room that suited our need.     The first room the heater wasn’t working. So after couple hours they relocated us to another room and this room didn’t have a hot water heater in the morning when we were ready to go.     Our stay started with us not getting the type of room we reserved and paid for. Your website and the Holiday Inn website showed a one-bedroom single floor room. We reserved that type of room as my wife recently had knee replacement surgery. The room we were provided was a 2-story loft type room with a spiral staircase. This obviously wasn't going to work but were told that's all that was available. We went to the front desk to complain and were told again there was no one bedroom rooms like we reserved available, and a refund wasn't available because we reserved through Expedia. They finally offered us a handicap room which we had no choice but to accept. Once in the room we discovered that there was no closet, no telephone, and the refrigerator didn't work. They did bring us a telephone, and repaired the refrigerator, but they had no portable closets, so they brought us a luggage cart which we had to walk around the 4 nights of our stay. We also prepaid for breakfast each morning. Our first morning we were greeted with a sign in the breakfast area apologizing for not being able to provide breakfast as there was a power outage. The first day our room was not serviced. The next morning, I asked the front desk how often rooms get serviced, she wasn't sure but said she would make sure it got serviced on that day. Well, our room only got service on our last day, and that is only due to constantly complaining! This was one of the worst hotel stays my wife and I have ever had!!

    This hotel is deceiving. It’s a motel. You have to park far away from your room, then carry everything up stairs and far away to get to you’r room. This was very disheartening not to have luggage carts and elevator. Then it’s on top of the highway and traffic was very loud!! All of this is heard to tell by pictures. Be ware. Would not stay again.

    Clean room and good breakfast the rooms were nonsmoking so it smelled clean and fresh. Very comfortable beds and pillows. the potatoes are delicious. the water doesn't run too hot but it does get warm enough the ac works great and all the towels and blankets were tidy.

    The hotel was very run down. The room rug was stain and so was the bed comforter. There were leaves and dirt in the hallways. There were some rooms with the curtains opened and you could tell they were used for storage. Very big hotel but you could tell they were only operating with some rooms. Would not recommend.

    This is such a neat place. The room was above average in cleanliness. The owner of this hotel needs to invest a little in repairs. The room had a broken toilet paper holder (the toilet paper was placed on the back of the toilet) a broken door chain (it wasn't a chain exactly, but the device was broken), and the carpet needed replacing; it was stained beyond reasonableness. Free breakfast should have been available to all guests, but isn't. But it is a cool hotel.

    Staff was very friendly at check in and gave me good directions to my room. This is a sprawling property. The room looked recently updated. The bed was comfortable. The room itself was clean, no odors an a good size. There were a few wear and tear items the needed attending to, such as a sliding closet door that had come off the track. Some stains on the carpet and a few scuffs on the walls.

    This had to be one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in! The carpets were very dirty and contained alot of debris where it seemed they had not been vacuumed. The ottoman in from of the sitting chair was filthy! Curtains were torn, tub had dead bugs in it, the spigot in the tub was practically falling off and anytime I wanted to go in or out it was a veritable wrestling match to just get the door open. I didn't adress this with the location because there seemed to be no management available. I also didn't make that effort because if the management truly cared about the comfort of your guest they would have never allowed a room to be offered in that inthat manner. I reached to the hotel management but all they said was that they would provide "feedback" to the location. I even offered to send pictures.thmareawi

    My family and I were on our way to San Antonio Texas and we stayed here to rest to jump on the road the next day. The room itself was amazing. It was clean and welcoming too. The staff were nice and friendly. What we can complain about is the noise. It’s really close to a highway and the noise entered through the door. The bathroom was clean, but it is small. Overall, it was a good place to rest.

    When I brought up the issue, his response was: “The hot water takes time to come out, and that’s why you don’t see it.” This was not only completely incorrect, but also dismissive. Two members of the hotel’s own maintenance team came to the room and both confirmed that there was indeed no hot water running at all. My point is this: your staff — or whoever is responsible for training them — needs to understand the importance of honesty when dealing with maintenance issues. Do not lie to guests, and do not blame them when the hotel is failing to provide a basic necessity like hot water. This kind of response is unacceptable and reflects poor customer service and even poorer training.

    The staff is amazing. The lobby restaurant and pool area are beautiful. However, some updates are needed like install new snack and ice machines where the old ones used to be. Fix the water fountains so they do not look like glorified ash trays. Lay grass or new turf in place of the old worn out sun beaten turf. With improvements like these this place would be amazing.

    Enjoyed the stay, it’s close to a lot of different restaurants and shopping centers, in checking a mall and casino nearby. Hotel was clean and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms refrigerator didn't work. The bartender seemed bothered that we were having a drink at the bar, maybe she didn’t feel like working that day.

    The staff were friendly and helpful however the attention to detail in terms of the care of the property was lacking. For example the rug in the room was very stained, toilet paper holder was broken, there was a whole on the wall, and the property had a lot of weeds within the rock landscaping. It was an ok stay just lacks some of the upkeep that shows attention to detail that I have experienced at other Holiday Inns.

    Found roaches in the room. Bathroom fan fell apart when turned on. Sheets stained and very dirty. EXTREMELY DARK PARKING. If you have anything remotely valuable in your car forget it. Sheets made us itchy too, just choose something else please. From one human to another, I want you to be comfortable, don’t stay here.

    The TV remote control would lose its batteries as soon as I picked it up because the little door to the battery compartment wouldn't stay in place. Also the headboard on one of the beds was no longer attached to the wall, so it banged against the wall each time I moved/sat down/ played down and it was pretty obnoxious. I felt sorry for the people in the next room!

    This hotel is located in the center of a maza of freeway on and off ramps. From the outside it is not bad looking, but once you enter the lobby, it reminds you of a prison rather than a hotel lobby. There are a few cheap looking tables and chairs where breakfast is apparently served. The advertising promised a restaurant, bar and room service. When the desk clerk was asked about this, he said the room service and restaurant meals could be obtained by ordering fast food and having it delivered. The desk clerk gave a photo copy of a map and drew a route to our room. The entrance he specified turned out to be a black iron prison type gate labled “emergency exit only.” After wandering around up and down stairs we finally found our room. It was a very long and dark prison cell type room with a lavatory at the end and a tiny bathroom not large enough to turn around in. I immediately took the keys to the front desk and told the desk clerk the structure was too depressing to stay for even one night. We found another room down the road which was very nice for less money. I will be askíng Expedia for a full credit for subjecting us to this fiasco.

    We arrived after 12am and the guy at the front desk working seemed more tired than us who just drove for 14 hours. I didn’t appreciate he’s lack of customer service after arriving so tired myself. The elevator was not working and majority of my family are senior citizens.. so they were irritated they had to walk up the stairs. I didn’t like the more than 1 stain I found on my bed sheets and room wasn’t as clean as I would like it to be, but better than my experience at a motel 6. However one good thing is the view in the morning from the parking lot.

    Honestly this trip was kind of a s*** show excuse my language but when arriving to the hotel room I originally got a suite entering the hotel room noticed that it was dirty the bed wasn't made nor clean, dirty towels in the bathroom, overall dirty. Went to go talk to the front desk they got me into another suite unfortunately the lights didn't work so we had to leave cuz we had a concert when we came back we found out that the door was not locking which if we knew it wasn't properly locking like it should we would notify at the front so that way our belongings could have been secured but they weren't went to the front desk to talk to him about that about 1:30 in the morning they had us move to another room. I'm grateful that they were able to put me in a room but it wasn't the original room that I decided to book they put me in a lesser value room which was nice but not what I originally wanted. So the next morning I go downstairs and I talk to them to ask to see if they can put us in a suite because that is what originally was purchased didn't get into his sweet until about 2:00 which is kind of annoying cuz it kind of ruined our whole day of going to the pool and actually enjoying ourselves but we ended up getting into our room finally and after that it was amazing but just the beginning 24 hours of being in a hotel was really the worst time I've ever experienced at any type of hotel.

    Asked for a room near parking due to moving heavy bags to the room. Was told no problem this will be great. The room was the furthest from the lot and stairs were on the opposite side. The bed base was nearly broke and creaked and moved with the slightest movement. Two lights were broken as well. Plugged toilet upon arrival.     The bed was really comfortable. Location was great. Rooms were private with a security gate around the entire facility. Toilet was broken upon check in. Seat sliding off and wouldnt flush.(had to have someone come and fix it) 300 dollar room with a broken needed amenity. 39 cent toilet paper in a 300 dollar room and a GIANT dead cockroach on the floor. Dirty stained carpets. AC was not very powerful even on high, room did not get comfortable until upon returning to the room at night. Cable TV kept having connection issues, no tv guide, all programming just said "no information". With how much the room is they can do much better. Upon returning to the hotel after a night out, there was minimum parking. Had to find something far away from our room.
