Comfort Suites El Paso Airport

The woman at the front desk was very serious and came across as unfriendly. As the first person guests interact with upon arrival, I believe the front desk representative should provide welcoming, professional, and friendly customer service. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, the greeting we received did not make us feel valued or welcomed as guests. A warmer and more approachable attitude would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

Enjoyed the proximity to Ft Bliss, would definitely stay here again.

The property has however, not been maintained great. The lobby is very nice, but even starting in the elevator there’s lots of things in disrepair from the floor to the lights, and even the elevator call buttons are held on with tape. In the room, the bedding was very clean. The sofa was very clean, which is great, but the tile in the bathroom was pretty much worn away the bathtub the sink and floor all need replaced.

Rude staff at desk. They 'lost' my reservation even though the other 3 rooms on the reservation checked in with no problem. My coworkers informed the staff my flights were delayed, AND I called and spoke to the staff explaining the flight delays, and was assured there would be no problems on checkin. Desk worker refused to make it right, refused to let me speak with management, and then refused to rent me another room just so I could get some rest before a long work day. Definitely look elsewhere.

Good rate for the room. Staff was never up front. Texas waffles for breakfast and the comfortable bed were the winners in my stay.

There was what looked like blood stains on the curtain, other stains in the carpet, black mold in the bathtub(which i complained to the front desk about) rust stains where the constant leaky water came out in the bathtub as well. The mirrors were filthy. The bathroom drain smelt like sewer every time we washed our hands. The AC worked but occasionally made this loud noise like it was about to give out. The cleaning people never came until I had to complain to the front desk that we needed a clean and more towels! All they did was take the trash out and bring us a few towels the last night we were there. 100% wouldn't recommend unless its the absolute last option and even then I recommend you are up to date on your vaccines! One of the worse places ive stayed in.

I finally had to call an Uber to get from the airport to Comfort suites airport. When I arrived at the front desk, the person offered me an apology for the unanswered calls I had placed. Clogged sink. Reported, but nothing was done. Not enough towels. Old torn washcloths with a hole in the middle. The cold water faucet offered hot or very lukewarm water only. The latter was highly chlorinated too and undrinkable. When I reported this, I was told that it’s was safe to drink, or use their lemon flavored cold water in the lobby. Tge bed and room were left unkept during my two-night stay. One room key worked, the other did not. On the positive side, breakfast was good, its ingredients fresh, the place sanitary and well kept.

This is my go-to place to stay if I need to catch an early flight in El Paso. The rooms are spacious and clean, comfortable and the 24 hour shuttle is a great amenity. The only problem is the showers - sometimes the hot water takes a long time to cut on.

We called the desk on these issues because we didn't want to be charged for the missing items.

Super easy to find and well lit parking lot which I was looking for as I was coming in late. I really like how check in is anytime after 3pm and there is no cut off time. It helps for those of us driving long distances. I also am glad that pets are welcomed here. Well worth the stay and breakfast was tasty. The area felt safe, which is a must.

We enjoyed the free shuttle. They picked us up to check in and drove us back 2 hours later when our rental car was ready. The receptionist was so friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Amenities in the room were satisfactory. Coffee was good. We did not have time to enjoy the breakfast.

Breakfast was okay. Waffle machine was not working properly so we were left with sausage and potatoes. Not too much flavor. The staff at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. Overall, it was very clean. Only downside was the cleaning staff two out of the four nights that we stayed. We got woken up early in the morning by the Cleaning staff talking on her phone yelling through her phone as if she was the only person in that hallway on the third floor. I called and complaint to the front desk. They handled it somewhat because the cleaning staff lady got off of her phone, but then proceeded to slam door. She was very upset. My husband had to go and talk to her at some point but the front desk staff was very understanding. Other than that. It was a great stay nice hotel. The pool water was cold, but that’s understandable.

I've stayed here before and loved it. It's within walking distance of the airport. The shuttle to the airport is fast and friendly anytime of the day or night. The breakfast was great!

Location - be prepared for Google Maps have you go left when its on the right but otherwise it is close and confident to the airport as well as a business area of El Paso. I found it quiet and surprisingly so because it is adjacent to the airport but I did not hear any planes. It was a comfortable night sleep.

Breakfast was great. The Texas style waffles are a staple. The drink options for breakfast are perfect! The entrance of the lobby is clean. Our room was something else. The room was dirty. The pull out couch mattress had a big stain and fast food bags left under couch. One of the queen size mattress’s had a stain of coffee or chocolate milk. The elevator board was taped together. One of the side doors to enter hotel was broken with no sign saying it was broken.

The front desk people were a little hard for us to understand. I’m not throwing off on them because of their nationality, but their English was difficult to understand for us. They were nice and accommodating though.

The hotel is run down and the shower did not work properly. The hot water would not go up to the shower head. The sheets were very staticky. Bed are not comfortable. Best part was the breakfast

Apparently, they were working on the fourth floor, and there was glue all over the flooring. Nobody notified me of this, so I got out of the elevator and ended up with glue all over my feet and my suitcase, only to be told by the construction worker that I shouldn’t have been on that floor and I needed to go back down to the front desk it was just a mess. I was sent back out of the hotel to wait for another room on a suitable floor that was not under construction.

The first thing is the room being cleaned every three days, really? never heard of that before. second, the sink was clogged, took two days to fix. third, the sink had no hot water the last day Fourth, ran out of shampoo and conditioner, third day and told staff about that, never filled it. No Ice in the Ice machine. Front reception personnel never out-front office When I told them I wasn't happy with the stay, didn't ask why and gave me my receipt. won't stay there again read the review

The tub had rust that at first looked like some sort of human waste. The clerk came up to scrub it but it turns out it was oxidation or rust that could not be removed. The exterior trash cans the evening we arrived until the next morning were over flowing with garbage and the wind had begun to blow it into the driveway. The carpets don't particularly feel clean, my suggestion is to get rid of carpeting all together. The elevator floor was dirty and had spills that had not been mopped up in some time. Also, get rid of the old phones, it is time to come into the 21st century technology. The vent fan vibrates excessively and was extremely noisy, the toilet seat is so old it needs to be replaced.

the property is great, house keeping was to late, after 3 pm. and the smell of marry jane on the right side parking area was tremendous.

Room was very dirty and had stains on couches if you moved furniture like microwave it was super dusty. There was a big hole in the hallway and it was very dangerous. Staff was not very friendly.

The guy that was there was refusing my checkin even though it was paid for upfront. Explained to him I had called let them know I would be arriving late the female who answered failed to notate my account. Had to contact Expedia so they would call. When they did he slamed yhe key on the counter said there is your room.He was rude through the whole prosess.

The king room was very clean. The bathroom impressed me as usually you see a lot of wear and tear in them. No bad smell and a/c worked well. I did not have breakfast as I had a very early flight. Only downside was the water was only luke warm, it would not get hot at all. I meant to let them know but fell asleep and forgot to tell them at 3:30 a.m. while taking the shuttle to the airport. Shuttle service is nice to have. Great stay!

I really appreciate the friendly staff but the room I received had a toilet that wouldn’t flush and that was unsatisfactory but the staff immediately gave me another room without any hesitation.

Overall was “clean”, no evidence of bugs that I noticed, but I wouldn’t even let my kids sit on the couch. The smell was terrible and I was sneezy from dust or something all night.

This Comfort Suites was lovely, however I inadvertently went to the other Comfort Inn on Gateway and the front desk person was beyond horrible. He was dripping F bombs to and by guests and was extremely rude and unhelpful. I wish I had his name.

I was in El Paso by myself for a neurological appointment after discharge from the hospital. To say the least, I was somewhat confused and needy. The hotel's staff was kind and helpful.

If you want to stay close to the airport, this property will do just fine. It is very close to the airport, has ample free parking and the rooms are large, clean and well appointed with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board/iron and the rest.

I was quite surprised by the hotel, first time for me at Confort Suites, clean, spacious, great amenities, very nice breakfast, overall excellent... if I try to find something on the down side it will be the noise from the airplanes but it´s what you can expect being so close to the airport... will stay there again

I arrived before check in time but every possible effort was made to get me into a room ASAP. I had to wait approximately one hour before a room became available. Great customer service in that regard. The shuttle to and from the airport takes 7 minutes so the location is perfect. My sole complaint is the overly fat and lumpy pillows.

Musky odor on our floor, lacking amenities, dripping shower, bathroom nightlight needing replacing, building needing some standard maintenance and front desks overall attitude needs a lot of attention. Hotels attempt to charge on my card, without my permission or even a reasonable explanation, is unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Late check in so had to check in at side window. Could not enter lobby Hard to hear understand clerk thru glass. Asked for AARP discount and he had no idea. Same with price match. Room was clean and spacious. Morning breakfast was adequate with waffles eggs sausage muffins etc. typical for motel. Morning clerk did give a discount but still less on line. If in area would stay again but book online.

It was very very loud. i could hear others speak very clearly in the rooms beside us. Thwrw was a lot of door slamming. I could hear the couple above us argue in the middle of the night. There was no full length mirror in the room and the lights in the bathroom were so dim it was hard to put my makeup on.

What i did not like was no hand sanitizer liquid in dispenser in gym, by elevator, by dining area. Also our room. Teller did not take word that we needed extra blackets for the pull out couch bed. The pull out couch bed was stained as well.shower facet wss broken when lifted to start shower the pull came off.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Our shower faucet was leaking and that’s my only complaint.

Room was ok other than the carpets appeared to need a deep cleaning and the TV was about to fall off the wall. Air conditioning worked very well though. Staff not very friendly.

Shuttle 24 hrs

Room was full of cat hair and smelt bad. Our allergies were all horrible because of it. Everything at the pool was worn, broken and very dirty.

I feel like Expedia cheated me with their rating. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at through Expedia. SMOKEY hallways! I haven’t stayed at a hotel with Smokey hallways in 25 years!! Broken ice machines with ONE on the first floor (4story hotel). Broken office chair that was ripped and unsafe to sit on as it was bent. No TV!! ROKU which means this hotels pays nothing for their TV service, no cable and most channels require you to sign in with a prescription. No network TV (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC) no live TV at all!!! No snacks, just an empty freezer thing with 3 year old ice cream bars. Front desk person stared at me when I walked in. No hello, no welcome. An awkward stare. This is a 2.5 out of 5 hotel.

We arrived shortly before midnight. No hot water in the room they put us in first. The second room had hot water but around 9am they did not have hot water.

Wonderful staff. Clean room. Nice upgrade, thank you. When I first checked in and got to my room, it sounded like there was a nightclub right beside me. So I called the front desk after about an hour, and I asked them if there was a nightclub or a bar in the hotel and she told me no. So I proceeded to explain to her about the noises, mainly the bass coming through the walls. It was resolved . I couldn't get the water to get hot, but I guess I didn't let it run long enough, I can be a ding dong sometimes. All in all, I would stay here again.

Price was great and the room was large. Breakfast the first morning (Sunday) was constantly restocked and attended by a kind gentleman. Next day (Monday) no one in sight. No forks left and most of the hot food was gone.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was professional and accommodating. Excellent location as it is walking distance from the airport.

Hotel was okay- right next to airport- in flight path and also has railroad tracks right next to property. Luckily- we were on 3rd floor and was quiet. Hotel is “ worn”. Not luxury. Okay for one night.

Liked: secluded, quiet, clean, location. Disliked: dated, could use some upgrades.

Convenient shuttle service (you need to give a call for shuttle request). Hot breakfast. Close to the airport. Very friendly staffs.

The hotel is very remote and I didn't see a security guard, the rooms are clean but need a touch up, my bathroom floor almost fell off, the shower got clogged and I was left with super hot water, I had to call my husband and the girls at the front desk were not very friendly, I worked for 13 years in a hotel and we should have the best smile for the customer, likewise the girl in the kitchen needs more friendliness, and they should vary the breakfast, it's always the same, my children got bored and I had to go out to buy and one rents with breakfast to save that expense 😂 but well here the important thing is that we slept well as far as possible and yes I would stay again to see if the girls changed a bit ☺️ more friendliness thanks!

Needs improvement

Room next door was letting door bang against door closer for about an hour from 5 am to 6 am, complain to front desk and they stopped.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was average. We found hairs on the floor. The hotel could be more welcoming. The hallway was dark and the carpet was held by duct tape. The pool was cold. They only have one waffle maker so there was a line to make waffles.

It was clean.
