Great hotel for pets. Our girl Molly was allowed to join us at the dining table in the bar/restaurant. Good outdoor space for walking your pet.

Gorgeous property, friendly staff, and the most important to me, It was exceptionally quiet. Often we travel and have a hard time sleeping due to noise. It was a perfect day and we will return when in town.

The room is not cleaned well, there was contact lens of last customer left in the night stand and I reached out to the customer service. They offered to change a room but I refused due to kids live in the next door. I repeatedly ask them to clean the room again and change all the sheets as this finding was very uncomfortable. All the answer I got was they did do the house cleaning and no apologies. In the second day, I found another lens next to the phone, which means they only removed the one I noticed and not even clean the night stands throughly! The hotel is located in a beautiful campus and the building is great. But this experience was very disappointing regarding a four star hotel. Watch out when you check in.

Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Perfect location. I don't like that you can't open the windows and so you have to rely on aircon, even though it's in the middle of Duke Forest. That's a shame and would probably prevent me from staying there again as I love fresh air!

room temperature is adjustable with cool and heat. Restaurant in Lobby for dinner is comfortable and good food with friendly service. we ate lunch downstairs at their hotel restaurant and enjoyed good service and a great hamburger

Very nice. Easy park but LOUD. Room next to us slammed door 3x at 2:45 am and it was so loud I thought someone was trying to get into room. No real coffee available downstairs. Need to purchase everything. Great location and nice hotel.

Beautiful hotel on Duke campus, a few miles off I-85. Comfortable and well appointed room with Moulton Brown amenities. Convenient parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent restaurant in lobby.

The only downside was parking. Instructions were not good so ended up behind people in the exit line who didnt know how to apply the tickets. This happened all three times i left the parking deck. Perhaps written Instructions would be better? And better directions on where to go from the deck to ger to the hotel itself.

I liked the cleanliness and quietness around the building, I just didn’t like that the curtains shower were not long enough that the floor in the bathroom got all wet every time we took a shower

We had a dirty toilet and it ended up being broken- it was not going to be able to be fixed until morning. A pump was broken. When I called the front desk, this is at 11pm… I had to ask for a room changed. It was not offered.

Although we had a short stay, we enjoyed the JB Duke hotel. Our room was clean, bed was comfy, and the temperature in the was perfect. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was very roomy. We order room service and the food was fresh and quite tasty. We will be back!

Beautiful room. Ultra friendly staff. Delicious restaurant & room service. Extremely convenient for going to Duke games. Second time staying here was just as good as the first. We'll be back again.

Fantastic location for events on Duke’s campus. We only had one issue and it was due to a waiter either with an attitude or incompetence. Ignoring us after we ordered food and drinks was so obvious. We were being patient until we watched 4 tables come in after us, receive food and multiple table visits by the waiter while avoiding us. After an hour we flagged down a manager and suddenly our food showed up. Of course, the waiter continued to ignore us until check time. I understand things happen and would not hold this against the JB Duke bc of one person. Great location!

The best place to stay when in town for a Duke football game! So many amenities at the hotel and we ate every meal at their wonderful restaurants. Tailgate area was key for our stay! Thank you JB Duke

When I checked out I asked for an emailed receipt. A week later, and after an email and a phone call to ask for it, I still have not received it. That's the reason for the 3 rating on staff and service. I would give the place a 1 rating based on failure ro send me my receipt, but the staff members I met were friendly and courteous.

Would not allow late check out despite Internet being down for many hours, forcing me to go elsewhere to conduct business. Second time here and second time late check out was such a “problem.” If my child does attend Duke, I’ll make a point to stay elsewhere.

Great areas to sit outside of your hotel room. Lobby, outside area and dining all inviting and comfortable. Love the food offerings. The JB Duke provides food options for all. They have lots of options on menu for meat eaters and vegans.

Gorgeous high-end hotel on the Duke west campus. Parking deck right next door or optional valet. Very modern and updated. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Our regular room was huge! Non-smoking campus and no designated smoking area outside was challenging. Dining, bar, and room service were great options.

Very nice stay. Chosen for comfort, convenience and close proximity to Cameron Indoor Stadium. Beautiful campus. A long hair was found in the bed, otherwise very clean and comfortable.

For a nearly-empty hotel in mid-July (I saw only 10-15 people (non employees) during a full 24 hours on site including evening (7-8) sitting in the lobby, and 2 meals there (dinner and breakfast), I was stunned by the “unavailability” of a 2-bed room and “need to charge 1/2 day” for late checkout (only 2pm!). My guess is they didn’t want to open vast areas of the hotel or keep skeleton staff any longer than minimally necessary. If full or slammed I might feel differently, but the place was a complete ghost town. Seems they forgot what business they are in: HOSPITALITY.

Most Staffs were nice and patient. Some were not. I borrowed a hairdryer at night and they sent me a horrible one(very dirty with a lot of hair and got moldy). After 5 nights in JB Duke, I moved to Washington Golf for another 5 nights. Although Washington Golf is older than JB Duke. The service here is way much better than JB Duke. People here are nice and patient. I heard both hotel belongs to the same company. I believe the professional training is different.

We stay at the JB often and each time it feels so luxurious in every way!
