The breakfast was always fresh and the breakfast staff kept the area clean and well stocked. Thank you!

Our room was well taken care of and we had plenty of space for our stay. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated that we were not disturbed by loud noises. Suggestion: The two flower urns by the front entrance had plastic flowers rather than live plants. We understand that North Carolina presently has drought conditions, but the plastic plants do look a bit tacky.

It was a nice experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of my room!!! The lobby air conditioning could use some fine tuning but everything else was great! We would definitely stay here again.

It was okay. Check in took quite a long time, the elevator broke during the stay while someone was inside, and there was hair in the bathroom and on the bed cover. Not the best.

Air conditioning is bad air conditioning in there lobby is not working and its 101 degrees outside. So its bad entrance not well maintained. For there price it’s not worth it. Their breakfast is ok. Typic

This was a horrible experience for us. The heat was terrible in the lobby. We had a medical emergency due to the heat and had to leave by ambulance. We were told not to return after we left the hospital. We had already paid a higher price for this hotel stay for one night. Our deposit that we were quoted by phone doubled when we arrived. It was a nightmare.

Room was fine. Breakfast was empty. No one around to refresh food. I was not there at the last minute so I was confused why the trays sat empty for so long. I find it amusing that the picture I was shown when I decided to fill this out was one of the breakfast buffet complete with full trays of omelets...

Location to venue we were visiting Daughter got stuck in the bathroom several times. Staff could not get the door open. My daughter had to shake it like crazy and was claustrophobic trying to get out. There was no key present on site to open the door. Staff tried a box cutter of all things. Did not work. It was a nightmare.

Convenient location close to DPAC. Older hotel. 1 elevator that was very slow. Staff very nice. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing.

The staff were very friendly. From the moment of arrival I was greeted with a smile.The room was clean and cool which was great since it felt like a heat wave was outside. Overall would stay again especially since it’s right by the highway making it easy to come and go. Will say though you can’t hear the cars passing by the only problem was you gotta take a little drive to get some food or even get to a store.

I have already wrote to this property and based on my experience they were to comp me the first day based on their changing my reservation without notification. I have yet to see this happen. Please look into this for me. If you need additional information,

The whole hotel smelled like smoke. Our floor (4) and room smelled horribly like smoke all night. As soon as you walk in the front door of the hotel, it smelled like weed. The hotel itself was relatively clean at first glance but is definitely in need of a remodel and some deep cleaning. The front desk lady was super helpful and kind, working through a tough situation herself as the AC was not working in the lobby. Overall it was a fine stay but a bit disappointing for a Holiday Inn and i would definitely not stay here again. The smoke smell is enough to deter me for the future.

The staff are so friendly, the entire hotel is spotless, the breakfast is very good. I have been here twice for Duke visits and will definitely be back. The only issue was the air in the lobby area and breakfast area is not working, hopefully it is being repaired. But it won’t keep me from returning.

The breakfast choices were varied and there was a good selection, that should work for anyone. The area was clean and there were plenty of spaces to eat. Our room was very clean, with plenty of space for two people to spread out to relax. There was some road noise, but I don't think that could be helped being so close to the interstate.

I was able to book a first floor room with my two large dogs with parking at the door. I had to wait 30 minutes for my room to be cleaned even though I got there well past check in. They had staffing issues that day. There was a strong smell of incense or vaping in my hall all the time and lastly, the parking spaces were very tight for an SUV and most people were driving an SUV.. it made getting out of the car without hitting another car very difficult and almost impossible with dogs.

What mad the difference for me was the staff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. One manager Darrel, I think his name was, went out of his way to help me with a very difficult time making my computer work to print critical documents. That type of effort made a huge difference to me. I will be back.

The room itself was very clean! I also loved the Dove products that they use in the bathroom. The bed was nice and firm and pillows fluffy. Despite being right next to a highway, you couldn’t really hear anything. The next time I come to Durham, this hotel is definitely where I’ll be staying! Also, I did receive a text message the morning of checkout, the text said “I hope you enjoyed your stay. Let them know when I’ll be departing and they can email my receipt to the email on file”. That gesture was very on point and appreciated. Above all, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately didn’t get to try breakfast as we overslept, I’m hoping next time we can try it.

The room was a standard hotel room with nothing to really write about. The parking lot was crowded with travelers large trucks and cars taking multiple parking spaces. The staff, when I checked in at night appeared as though I was bothering him. Good customer service was not on his mind. The morning staff was unable to check me out, stating the manager, who was 30 minutes away would handle the checkout. (NOTE: I checked out early and the staff did not know how to check out a guest early). Very disappointed in the staff.

Harrison was an absolute delight to deal with. I was very stressed out and was having a payment issue with my card. Harrison was patient and understanding as I dealt with the issues to pay the pet fee and the deposit. The room itself was great. Spacious, clean and new. The shower was lovely with very good water pressure. They also had really nice Dove soaps and shampoos/conditioners on the wall. The room also had a hair dryer, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was amazing, and well worth it. The eggs, bacon and sausage were all great. They had cereal, fruit, breads, milk, and juices. The area was pretty clean, and there's a nice field right beside the hotel for walking your dogs that is well lit and felt safe. I will absolutely be back as I travel to this area a few times a year. The only thing I disliked was the $75.00 pet fee, but that is a flat fee for both dogs, and was for up to 5 days. I do wish that it could be changed since I was just staying for one night, but I understand it can be hard to do so.

We were in town for one night to see a show. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the rate was reasonable. The hotel was easy to locate and it was only a few minutes from the venue.

I had a very delightful stay and the price was $70 less than the recommended lodging for my visit. Highly recommend. Particularly enjoyed the free breakfast, since they had turkey sausage and I am allergic to all mammal meat. Staff was delightful.

This hotel was not only convenient to visiting the Johnston surrender site, it also had the very best breakfast on our trip, with plenty of protein, fruit, juices, and even cinnamon buns. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

I reserved a room with two queen beds, so my son could be comfortable in his own bed and my daughter and I would share a bed. I paid in full when I made my reservation. When we got there, they DID NOT have the room available wit two queen size beds. They said the only option that we had was a king size bed and a pull out sofa, this was at 10pm . We ended up accepting that because we felt there was no other options in the area and were disappointed. Along with that, when we got to the room and my son pulled the sofa out, we looked for linen and pillows for him. There were NoNE! I called the receptionist and was told that they could not bring any to our room; but we could go downstairs to get some. We just drove a few hours after working all day and was exhausted. I felt that good customer service would had brought the linens and pillows up; the answer was NO! I ended up taking a top sheet off of the king bed and my daughter gave my son a pillow, he covered up with a throw blanket that we had. This should never had happened! The guy at the desk was nice enough; the woman who said no, that we had to come and get these items seemed to have cared less and was unapologetic. Hotels are in the hospitality industry. Upon arrival, i went to the room I was assigned. Opened the door, the room wasn't ready. Beds weren't made. Dirty towels on the floor. Went back to the front desk and told them. They were extremely apologetic. Assigned me a different room. That room was ready. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast was good.

Clean & attractive. My only area of concern is that the hotel, which I paid in full before hand, charges you an additional $75 in case you incur charges at the hotel. I did not, as I paid for my dinner separately, and the $75 was supposed to be returned by the end of the day when I checked out, which was yesterday, but I have not been credited the $75 so far. That would definitely discourage me from staying in a property run by this organization again.

The only down side was that the elevator was down and the ice machine was also down on the 1st floor. Other then that everything was perfect and the breakfast was Amazing!

Elevator (only one) out of service for days, icemaker out of service, pancake maker out of service, fire alarm went off just after 5 am due to faulty service (?). Poor signage on out of service elevators. Staff would just say “so terribly sorry”. No pride ownership in this hotel anywhere. No comps at all.

First, the elevator was not working and did not get fixed the 3 days I was there. There was no service elevator so we had to use stairs ice machines.Also not working:ice machine, pancake maker for breakfast. Outside areas were trashy and not well kept. The staff were pleasant and tried to compensate for things like the elevator not working, but they were helpless to do anything about it. Breakfast was basically okay and servers tried to keep items out and available, but there were only two people including the cook who were apparently working the breakfast. My room was clean. Mattress and pillows were way too soft.

We were there for a medical appt at Duke. The motel was close enough without a lot of traffic. The room was very clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The breakfast would rival any restaurant meal. Will definitely stay again.

Staff were very friendly and the property was clean.

When they take a credit card for incidentals, they chg 75 and you don't get it back for 3 to 5 bus. days. VERY AVERAGE motel. You can find much better for the money.

Rapid check in and out. 4th floor guest room offered less hallway foot traffic. Hotel staff were cordial and communicate effectively.

We stayed at this property after a Duke basketball game. It was easy access via Uber to the game and back again afterwards. The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel was also quiet!

Everything was good

Arrived at the hotel and the two rooms available had broken key access (dead batteries) and the clerk could fix them. Was sent away without a room that was prepaid for at 2 am! Horrible!

Everything was pretty good, there was a small satin in the sheet but other than that it was a good stay

For the price I paid I definitely expected better and more. Breakfast was good but very limited shuttle service , room was not very clean, staff was not very helpful( they weren’t rude just didn’t seem to want to help).

It was clean and nice. The only problem was that there was a large floodlight just outside our window, and it was not obvious how we could shut the curtain over the AC to block out the light. We slept fairly well anyway.

The highway is very close to the property, and if you have a room that faces it, it gets quite loud. Breakfast and other amenities are as one might expect. Staff was very nice, very welcoming. The area around the property is short of amenities, but these are a short uber ride away.

Check in was slow. Key cards didnt work. A/C in room was on manual. Room was nice but desk was placed next to air unit resulting in a continuous breeze in the ear. TV offerings were great and bed comfortable.

Very clean property with a large amount of counter space in the bathrooms. Highly recommend!
