The staff was nice, the room was clean but there was a sign stating will not receive packages at the front desk, be aware of this if you have a lengthy stay. There were 2 baby roaches running around the bathroom, I noticed this twice one each time. It appears they are actively trying to correct the problem. They are also doing a lot of remodeling. We were there for 2 days.

I would not recommend this hotel. It’s dirty and the staff are rude.

Even though it look like a recent remodel, the room still looked dated, especially in the bathroom.

The staff were friendly and patient. The room I was in, the floor was tilting downwards and the left elevator opened up while we were still on the elevator coming down from the 4th floor.

For a man my age to constantly go up the stairs or the elevator and find out that I can’t get into my room and travel back down to have my key reprogrammed was very annoying. And to add insult to injury, no logical explanation was provided for this situation.

Next to the highway, shower water pressure is terrible, no breakfast bc of “renovations, cheap with the stock of toilet paper, just one roll smh. I spent 4 nights 4 ppl. Very cheap renovation/construction.

The room was not well maintained. Room was not made up on a daily basis. There was no daily breakfast as advertised on their website. (Under construction) Should have been informed, would have chosen another hotel!!! Furniture was dated and worn down. Exterior of property was not well maintained and there were issues with the elevator.

Overall, this hotel failed to meet even basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. I would not recommend staying here and definitely will not be returning.

This place was centrally located near alot of shops and just off a freeway. My room was very clean and quiet. I think the only negative was the elevator seemed old ans slow.

The shower was not clean the wall still had hair from previous guest and there was a plumbing bathroom toilet you had to hold the knob even they know. The vending machines are outdated and you can’t purchase anything from their “pantry” without having cash a lot of people don’t carry cash any more

While the temperature was OK - water pressure (in the shower) was a touch on the low side. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, however.

The staff was very nice. They advertise that they offer breakfast only for us to learn that the restaurant had been closed for a couple of months. That was a real inconvenience considering this was one of the primary reasons we booked with this hotel so we wouldn't have to spend extra money.

There is a surprise $50 deposit that is not disclosed at booking, and they don’t have breakfast like it says they do. The check in person was walking around barefoot, and all you can smell is weed both outside and inside the property. Room was clean enough but there were 2 towels and 1 washcloth provided for 3 people.

Only two spanish ladiesvone from Colombia and the other ladeo from Venezuela were so nice, kind with me. The only reason I states in the hotel was I was closely to work. I don’t recommended Duluth location to anybody. So simple.

This is my second visit.. The first time was on the first floor so the wifi was fine. The second time I stayed on the 4th floor but the wifi connection wasn't good and the hotel staff, an Indian woman, was rude. I won't be back for a third time.

Everything from walking in the front door to the comfort of the room to the view...very clean (look & smell)...great stay! The front desk didn't want to give extra towels. She stated there are 3 sets in the room already but there were only 2. Furthermore when extra towels are requested they should be given...the guest very well may miss housekeeping.

It’s not like I got there at 10 o’clock in the morning, I got there at 1 o’clock instead of 3 o’clock, and the room was obviously ready -just waive the fee, so you don’t have to sit in your car with the kid in the freezing cold or your car running for two hours. obviously I paid it without making a fuss, but, little customer service things like that could go a long way. They didn’t seem interested in that at all.

No breakfast offered. And there used to be a spy Camara in the painting in the room but when we checked the Camara was not there. Highly recommend checking for hidden cameras in the rooms . Staff was notified about the painting and it was taken care of .room was very clean and staff was friendly

This hotel is dated and worn. Even though it has some modern upgrades they were not done professionaly. The water pressure in shower and sink was horrible. The room we got had stained sheets and blankets, there was a giant roach in the lobby, and when we turned on the water it came out black (which they said was because there was construction and they redirected water but still disgusting and made me not want to drink the water there). Advising a customer to stick their hands in machinery that is actively malfunctioning is crazy. Our key cards also stopped working multiple times, we were careful not to put them near our phones/magnetic strips on cards, but it happened multiple times to all of our cards.

After two days of my stay they couldn’t fix Luke warm water. It’s not hot. Maintenance guy came and said he will fix it. Never did. I was very nice and talked to 5 different propel. No fix. Even assisted the key manager to better train staff. Bad problem solving skills, while denying problems m exists . They are not bad and understand they are scripted answers.

It was not satisfacturing to me I had a non-smoking room but everybody on the floor was smoking so I didn't agree with that and the customer service sometime was okay depending on who it was at the front desk one of the guys was unruly like just was in the bad area

Receptionists weren’t nice enough. Without cash we could not buy groceries in hotel which is very inconvenient in late night.

The water for showering is too "low". It seems that the owner of the hotel intentionally turns the water low to save money. The toilet is also not stable.

I didn't like that I was one and half early and was told I had to pay for early check. When I came back 15 minutes to 4p he started too end his shift. I had to wait for his replacement to get there. This is the first time I ever had this problem.

Staff was not that friendly and did not allow us to have complimentary printer paper . The charged 2 pages of paper . Staff even cussed at us. Which was super insulting!

The hallways were very dirty, yes they were taking the carpet up, and it needed to removed. Around the tub, and toilet in the bathroom had dirt in the corners, the place was filthy. We brought Clorox and Lysol spray clean and spray our room 211 it was a horrible 3 night stay at the Wyndham Gardens, NEVER AGAIN. The linen for the beds and towels

The floors weren't swept, we had to be changed out of our first room because of the smell, the carpets were gross. The night staff had attitudes, morning staff was awesome.

I love this place. The only thing I had a problem with was they did not mop the floor. There was a little dirt on the floor and that was it other than that everything else was fine.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was neglected and unprofessional. The staff treated the facility like their personal apartment, openly cooking meals on hot plates, which filled the entire building with a lingering, awful smell for the entire weekend. Instead of providing hospitality, they seemed more like tenants themselves. Speaking of tenants, the majority of people staying here were not travelers, but long-term residents—many of whom appeared to be struggling with substance abuse. The atmosphere was uncomfortable at best and downright unsafe at worst. Cleanliness? Nonexistent. Garbage was piled up in massive bags, left festering next to already overflowing trash bins. The hallways looked like they hadn’t seen a renovation—or even basic maintenance—in decades. Peeling paint, stained carpets, and broken fixtures made it clear that no one cares about upkeep in this so-called "hotel." I would use harsher words to describe this experience, but I’ll keep it professional: this place is a disgrace. It’s run by a slumlord who clearly prioritizes profit over people. If you value your health, safety, and sanity, stay far away from this place.

I rarely leave negative reviews but we were not impressed with this property. I thought, being a Wyndam, that it would be a little nicer. First, THE PROS: it's easy to get to off the highway, and the bedroom/sitting area looked newly remodeled and clean. The price was reasonable. THE CONS: They obviously stopped renovating with the bathrooms, because they looked old. The water pressure for the shower was poor -- it looked like the shower head was fairly new, but not good pressure coming out. The towels were scratchy. I expected wall dispenser type shampoo/conditioner/soap but it was old style minis. The cable TV was new but the cable connection itself seemed to be subpar, and I could find no "guide" button on the remote. All that I could have dealt with for the most part with no complaining (except for the shower pressure) but the most annoying thing was being charged $25.00 to check in "early" at 3:00 pm instead of the 4:00 pm check-in time. The room was obviously ready and the clerk gave me a "discount" down from the $35.00 fee, but I thought that was really unnecessary and outrageous, considering it was a little after 3 already and the room was available. We were travel weary and I wasn't going to sit in the lobby for an hour over the extra charge, but I was not happy. They had a whole listing of extra charges at the front desk that seemed really petty and usually not extra elsewhere. I just did not feel very good about the overall experience at this hotel.

Checked in to a room with unusable shower. I mean how could that not been known. Maintenance came and did its best , but that problem is far beyond a new shower head. The hotter the water it looses water pressure. It seems like a neglected room. It seems part of an update but refuses to upgrade the TV. That tv was at least 20 years old. I hope the read this review and do something about this room. After all you are paying for a functional room.

Ok for a one night stay

Room wasn’t bad except noise from hall and highway was easily heard. Halls had dirty carpet and smelled of smoke- cigarettes and marijuana. Restaurant was very mediocre. Missed the $25 per night per dog fee when booking, but that was on me.

Staff was very friendly

Property had good staffing. It was very clean hallways had a weird smell to it. No hot water during the day sometimes at night you can get a little hot water. If everybody wasn’t using the showers at the same time the area is very unsafe was solicited drugs, and sex so not sure if they’re vetting the people that come in there but it’s not a safe property at all

It’s an ok experience. There’s not much to say since the stay is not that long. We only smelled a little bit of weed on our way to check out. The door to the fridge cabinet is a little crooked(as you have to lift it to close it back up). The top of the bed frames are dusty and so is the bathroom ledges. Other than that it’s an ok experience.

Very dated. Halls have a musky odor, pot and cigarettes. Linens (bath and bed) appeared clean but had old stains on them

great staff , great location. my floor smelled smoke and my room bathroom wasn’t clean and was uncomfortable to use. overall no complaints

There was a dog barking for almost 2 hours and the front desk didn’t do anything about it. I called the front desk 10 times from the room and the line was busy. I had to call them from my phone in order for them to answer for me to complain.

This is the best hotel stay I’ve experienced since staying in hotels in Duluth, GA
