The staff at the reception was very helpful and courteous. Rooms are big. Location is good as its near the airport. There is a free airport shuttle which is so convenient. All was good. Nothing we didnt like

The check in process was quick and easy. Front desk person was very professional. I had dinner at the bar and the food was good. The bartender was very friendly. Lastly, I left some items in the room safe behind. I called the hotel and they are assisting me to get my items back to me.

Front desk staff person was beyond excellent!! A whole bunch of flights got canceled and she alone dealt with dozens of irritated, tired travelers beginning at around 11:15pm Sunday night (2/15). She was friendly and efficient and got us into our room in a timely manner despite a very long line (she even answered the phone when we called ahead and was pleasant and helpful!). When we checked out at 5am today (2/16), she was still there, by herself and still friendly and efficient. I didn’t get her name but she was a hero!

The room was in terrible condition, especially the bathroom. The shower floor was dirty, stained, and absolutely disgusting—so bad that I could not shower the first night. The glass shower doors had visible stains, the edges were full of grime, and it was obvious that no deep cleaning had been done at all. This is basic hygiene, not a luxury request. For a hotel in this price range and category, this situation is completely unacceptable and embarrassing. I paid a premium rate expecting at least a clean room, and the hotel failed to meet even the minimum hygiene standards. What makes it worse is the total lack of management response. No manager ever came to speak with us, no supervisor was available, and no real solution was offered. This was my first and last stay at AC Hotel Miami West / Doral. During my stay from November 25–28, my new shoes were stolen from my room while under the exclusive custody of AC Hotel Miami Airport Doral. The staff’s explanation—that they removed “an empty box inside a trash bag”—is completely illogical. I never placed my belongings in the trash, and all other boxes and shopping bags in the room were left untouched. This was not a mistake: my belongings were clearly mishandled or stolen by hotel staff. The response I received was cold and dismissive: “no evidence” and “we cannot do anything.” I felt completely unprotected and betrayed in a place that should have been safe. No one should stay at this hotel. Personal belongings can be stolen, and staff and management will take no responsibility. I will never return.

The location and that the room is spacious. We only stayed for two nights and they didn’t clean our room even though we requested the housekeeping service. The second time we complained the gave us a set of bed sheets and towels instead of providing the cleaning service.

The place was nice but the staff was usually not there when checking in or out. We had to wait for a minute or two for someone to come out and greet us.

Nothing Staff who were not attentive to customer issues! I was scammed because I paid for a family room and when I arrived at the location it was a room for people with disabilities, with a dirty bathroom!

The room, facilities and service were excellent. However, the listing says 3.2 miles but it is actually 6.1 miles from the airport. This extra ten minutes and $10 in an Uber (we were running late and couldn't wait for the shuttle) meant an extra wait for the guests who had already been waiting a half hour for us in their car outside. Second, the shuttle departs the hotel once every hour, not every half hour. Finally, in order to access the "free" wifi, you have to join Marriott Bonvoy, a no go for someone concerned about digital privacy and getting too many marketing emails already. Otherwise no complaints.

I’m from Tampa and come to Miami Doral every month for business. I have never stayed at this hotel first time. I pre paid on Expedia for 5 days. Due to the hurricane I had to leave back to Tampa for my family and needed to cancel. I called Expedia and was told no problem we will do it but need to speak with the hotel. The hotel said no and would refund 2 days as I had to leave. It’s disgusting you wouldn’t refund the 2 days based on an emergency such as a hurricane. I will never stay at any of your hotels again and I hope people reading these knows how the management won’t accommodate you based on an emergency such as a hurricane. It is a business person's hotel. My only complaint was the safe box battery did not hold a charge. I had to call maintenance twice to rescue my laptop. The maintenance person was responsive, courteous, and fast. The safe box itself is defective and should be totally replaced.

This is a newish hotel and my toilet was broken the entire time I stayed. I was there for 3 days and each day I complained. They sent maintenance every day but it was not fixed. And when I asked to be moved for night #3, they said they didn't think they could do it because the housekeeping staff had left. Waited 1:10 mins for shuttle after 18 hours of travelling. People left behind it was so full. Shuttle in the morning only every hour; not regular enough. Never again.

I actually got what they call an accessible room..like for wheelchairs..I did not book this type of room..the shower was not comfortable since it was totally open and shower water drained out past the curtain..did not advise front desk because I did not want to move in the evening time when I returned to the room

Room feels like pretty bare. Employees are ok, not rude nor they are friendly. Lacking the enthusiasm you need when away from home or the usual enthusiasm you receive from other hospitality places like hotels.

Got to the room, toilet wasn’t flushing, had to call front desk twice before they sent someone.. No microwave in room, had to walk in the hallways to find one.. Didn’t like the sink, water kept flashing out because it wasn’t deep enough.. Also requested a room at the top floor and didn’t get it and if I were to use the amount of cars parked I would say they were far from full so we could have gotten what was requested instead we were on the second floor… Needless to say I won’t be staying here again There were cheaper hotels in the area and I chose this one because I love AC Marriott Hotels but they disappointed

I like the exterior of the building. Our stay was great, everything was perfect.

The problem that we encountered is that the hotel is advertised as having free shuttles to and from the airport, and they do. But unfortunately, we had to call them three times, and waited for over 1hr and 45min. and never showed up. We could see drivers for the other hotels making they routes and picking up people who were waiting like us, but our driver, never showed up. What made the experience even worse is that three times, we saw the van with the AC Hotel’s logo, we would wave at them, they would slow down, but didn’t stop. Finally, one of the drivers stopped, and told us that he couldn’t take us, that because we had called for a shuttle, that they had dispatched another driver, that we was going to pick us up with in 30mins. It never happened! In summary, great hotel, but it took us two hours of waiting and $50 for the taxi who finally took us to the hotel.
