Front desk people were nice. Breakfast was okay but i think people in the kitchen may need to show more smile, be more accomodating and treat visitors equally. There was someone there that needs to have more patience and learn the art of public relations.

Clean and comfortable rooms offer a good nights rest. Don’t know why steaming tv isn’t offered but seems like chain needs to catch up. Coffee was shut down early and not offered until morning. Otherwise site is very nice.

Room was clean and friendly staff. We were bummed we could have breakfast due to our early departure. We had a double queen room. One of the beds felt like it was broken, too soft and not comfortable compared to the other bed that was in the room.

Normal items for breakfast, but what spoiled the atmosphere was the staff, no one smiled or even tried to say good morning, looks like they were watching everyone thinking like they were going to steal food.

Seemed like safe location, well lit parking. Late entrance by key only. Breakfast fare usual, but all fresh and hot. We’ve stayed at Ayres before - a well run small chain!!

Ayres Suites Diamond Bar - is a "10"! Very professional front desk people, and very courteous. Room is fantastic, spic and span! Breakfast offers a great selection of different varieties. Easy parking! Surrounding is quiet.

It’s very clean and the staff is friendly, they have a laundry room with one washer dryer. They have a workout room with a bench, some dumbbells and three cardio machines. A lot of of the rooms have Jacuzzi tubs you have to ask. The driveway is a little small, you almost miss it and it’s very steep going down. They also have a security guard at night. There is also a breakfast bar open approximately three hours per day, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice :-)

We always enjoy the staff service and overall cleanliness. Disappointed we were charged $55 for one night for my 10lb Havanese. Always pet friendly but unexpectedly now friendly for a hefty fee.

A little outdated room but decent

This hotel is clean , quiet and neighbor with a golf course, staffs are very friendly, location is near to everywhere we want to go. My three days stay are very relaxed and enjoyable. Everything is perfect, except the bed is too soft for my 70 plus old body. :-)

My second time staying here when I was having home remodeled. It was like being on an actual vacation! The desk clerks were so friendly and welcoming. I got a quiet, good nights sleep and ate a great breakfast the next morning. I hope to stay here again!

I only dealt with one staff member. The woman at my check in. Not personable not customer service skills. My check out was ok (not with her). First I told the front desk girl the fan was making a noise, so she said she would have maintenance fix it. They actually moved me to a different room, but did not move my unpacked bags. keys did not work for me to get my back, so i had to go back down. In general based on my experience with her (which I got so frustrated with and told her to call the police if she wants -which she did). The end result was she gave me new keys that worked and I got my bags and moved them to my new room. I will never stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend the public avoid this hotel too.

We booked a King Studio Suite for 2 nights. The Description of the room said there is a a sofa bed. We got a large room but no sofa bed nor couch. The only chair in the big room is a chair for the desk.

Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. The couch and coffee table was unexpected and made the room that much more comfortable. The staff was excellent at check-in. Breakfast was great for eating fast before heading out for activities. Plenty of room and helpful staff. Parking was easy and ample. Location was quiet and the view out the window facing the freeway was quiet and far enough to not be bothered. Pretty trees blocked any views which was really nice.

Property is very pretty and breakfast was great. Pool and spa were closed which was unknown to us when we booked and the staff could care less and provided no assistance. Our queen suite seemed to be 2 double beds. Very strong smell in the room, probably cleaning supplies as it smelled like listerine. Windows had no screens so we couldn't open them to air out the room.

The refrigerator door opened the wrong way, it was facing the wall instead of towards the open area of the room. The handle on the small sink in the room was very difficult to use. You had to yank it upwards with two hands, and it was not intuitive how it worked. Again we had to call someone up to the room to show us how to operate it and they had difficulty figuring it out themselves.

Good overall, not overwhelming. No complaints.

The property was well kept. The best part of the stay was the staff. From my first phone call to the property where Sylvia kindly assisted and helped with my request for early check-in and questions I had to the actual check in with Adrian. Rather I am at the front desk or at the dining hall, the staff was attentive and kind. And the breakfast was impressive. You don't get this kind of breakfast of this quality, quantity and service anymore. I would definitely recommend and consider a repeat visit.

All the staff members were extremely gracious and helpful. The yummy treats were a nice surprise, especially after a long car ride and a day of traveling. The common area was clean and welcoming. Overall, the amenities exceeded my expectations. If I were to be nitpicky, the beds were on the softer side for my liking but this of course is a personal preference.

Everyone is so nice here- and all very helpful. The parking is great and there’s security at night. The rooms are large and always clean. I’ve stayed here every month since Jan and the customer service is A1- not steak sauce, haha- great service always!! I highly recommend this hotel- I haven't had the breakfast myself but my family has and they all say it’s really good. Anything you need they are always happy to help. A/C is cold and fridge/microwave is really nice to have in the room too!!

Nice assortment of food choices for free b-fast (cold and hot cereal, bagels and toast, waffle maker. Scrambled eggs, tater tots and sausage. Juices, coffee. Food was hot and tasty. A/C worked well. Many channel choices on TV. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I have stayed here 3 times and have never been disappointed.

I always have great experiences at Ayres Suites - Diamond Bar. From the time I check-in, front desk staff is excellent, especially Sylvia. Rooms are clean and they have a well-organized troop of maids so you can get it cleaned every day if you want. The room itself I was in had 2 comfy beds, faced the parking lot, had a good temperature decent pressure shower, cold AC, a desk, decent TV, a mini fridge and a microwave. Room was peaceful. Great hotel, wonderful staff and a reasonable value for California prices. Oh yeah, and there's a complimentary breakfast every morning with eggs, sausage (bacon on Tues. and Ths.), waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit (can't recall which type), toast and a few other things. Most definitely will (and have) repeated staying here at Ayres Suites Diamond Bar. Always a pleasure.

The rooms on the ground level need full curtains for more privacy there was a person walking around and could see inside our room from the back sidewalk facing the golf course

Excellent experience. Wonderful hotel. My family loved staying here they didn’t want to leave! The youngest member of our family group fell in love with the scrambled eggs that the hotel served for breakfast. He said they were the best eggs he ever had, he’s 11 and super picky! I have to agree the food was fantastic and made the entire experience that much more memorable. The staff is so so kind and welcoming. We checked in pretty late but the staff welcomed us in with top tier hospitality. This hotel literally checks all the boxes. We can’t wait to come back! We’re already planning our next stay here. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here, you won’t regret it! 10/10

This is one of the best hotels to stay at. We stay here whenever we get a chance. Excellent hotel, everything is excellent!

Staff at breakfast time should have a welcoming and pleasant demeanor to show that they are there for the guests.

In a such a way it was hard to get to everything especially coffee and waffle maker. I was disappointed as I’ve stayed at other Ayres and this one was also very noisy a lot of loud rude people walking the hallways late at night. Certainly not a 9.6 rating in my opinion

I have traveled a lot in and out of this country, this was by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Staff was 150% on all levels on all days! Clean, quiet, beautiful, quaint & a top pick. I was impressed!

The staff at the front were not too welcoming. The shuttle driver mad rude comments when we went to enjoy the complimentary breakfast that Monday morning. He said “I thought it was just for the crown people, why are “they” coming so early” a bit judgemental if you ask me. Other than that the property is great and the cleaning staff was helpful. Also there was not a carafe of water kept in the lobby for guest, like other 3 star hotels do. Customer reps weren’t friendly or helpful except for the lady who checked us in. Breakfast was 1 ⭐️. Very poor quality food, no fresh whole fruit like bananas, apples or oranges. Just out of season cut up cantaloupe with grapes and what appeared to be frozen pineapple. Breakfast was one of the worst selections that I have ever had. Would I stay here again…probably not! stop being cheap at investing

Clean rooms. Daily Housekeeping. Daily clean towels. Breakfast was plentiful and hearty. We had a quiet stay for 6 nights. No issues with noise even though its next to the highway on both sides. They accommodated an early check-in. Parking is spacious, plentiful and included. They even have an evening guest reception where simple snacks and beverages may be enjoyed. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming at all times. The staff at breakfast had a few odd reactions when i was observed pouring myself a bit more coffee and added just one more strip of bacon to my plate. They spoke Spanish and i understood their conversation. Otherwise they were hardworking keeping the breakfast room clean and stocked. I would definitely recommend a stay at this DIamond Bar location.

To me, this is the best value in the area for the price, it exceeds what other hotels offer. I like how it’s tucked away, yet super close to the freeway.

Best hotel in the area by far! you'll pay a bit more but it's well worth it for the helpful, friendly staff, fabulous breakfast included, and absolutely gorgeous hotel with saline pool and hot tub. Bonus: Treadmill in workout room goes to 25 incline! I'll always stay at Ayres from now on. Also, while not 100% necessary, it's rare to find a hotel that cleans daily since the insanity of the early 2020's lockdowns so that was a nice surprise to come back to a clean and fully re-stocked room in the evening. Truly an exceptional hotel. Enjoy!

Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfy. Didn’t have breakfast but in stays before it was always a good buffet with lots of choices. We always try and stay at an Ayres if there is one in the city we are traveling to.

During our recent Mt. SAC trip, we hoped for a late checkout due to a later race start. Breana at check-in was friendly and said it should be fine. But the next morning, Sylvia firmly denied the request, citing fairness to cleaning staff and other teams. She suggested that we leave the race early. (Insert eyeroll here. Perhaps only run 1/2 the race?) We respected her stance and returned post-race at 12:02 PM. Our room cards had been deactivated, but Sylvia reactivated them briefly, admonishing us it wasn’t a late checkout. She also said that she had sent another employee to our room to make sure that we were out and to ignore him. I wondered if she sent him to everyone's room immediately at noon? Yet, I saw him walking from my room only towards the front desk. Hmm? We grabbed our bags and checked out without issue, though cleaning staff were still working in other rooms. Despite that hiccup, the stay was excellent. Room 122 was spotless, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept pain-free for the first time in months. Breakfast was standard but satisfying, with friendly kitchen staff. I just wish we’d had that extra half-hour to avoid the scramble. We’ll be back for future races—and Ayres Diamond Bar remains my top pick.

Liked the ease of parking. Would have liked a smile and some personality of the person checking me in. Seemed very stoned face. Not friendly. When i called for 2 extra pillows front person said she'd see IF she could get security to bring me the pillows they'd be sent up. Had to wait to see IF id get my 2 extra pillows. No towels in swimming pool area. Had to go back to housekeeping to get some. Weve stayed at 3 different Ayers hotels and it seems that 2 out of 3 need to work on hospitality and greeting customers with a smile and being pleasant. House keeping staff seems a lot nicer! Also, the body wash rack in the shower unglued in the middle of the night and scared me half to death.

Eoyed the stay, very clean .hot tub was clean and hot, plenty of towels. Hot water in room and water pressure was nice.front desk was very nice. Had a nice view! And the ac/ heating unit was very easy to control.

Breakfast was good. Coffee was hot and fresh. Loves the area, very convenient for us. The entire hotel was very clean, from the lobby to the rooms. Staff was extremely helpful. Simply a wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was delicious except on the weekends the hours are different and ended up missing the breakfast because of that. I suggest keeping the hours for breakfast the same everyday because people who are traveling often lose track of what day it is especially if you’re staying at the hotel more than one night which we did. Part of why we choose hotels is so it feeds our family . Otherwise gorgeous pool, hotel and very close to shopping, restaurants, town and highway

The property looks old outside but it is nice and clean inside. We stayed in a two queen beds with a mini bar, very high ceiling and the room is huge. The hotel is by the busy freeway and a small golf course but the insulation is excellent. We can’t hear the noise at all. Thanks for free breakfast. The staff at the front desk to the kitchen are very friendly. It will make the hotel a level up if they could update the carpet. We will come to stay again.

It was a nice hotel with comfortable and nice rooms. Even if it was beside the freeway, you couldn't hear any noise from the room. Breakfast was included and it was a nice American breakfast with lots of different choices. Front desk staff was helpful too.

This will now be our go to hotel every time we travel to the area which is about 4 times a year!

The Desk Staff were indifferent and were not very helpful. They were polite but were not responsive to my requests for an extension to my stay. Or my simple request for a wire clothes hanger.

this stay was a 5, glad we were there only 2 nights. originally checked in to room 309 which is a King suite with a high ceiling and we have stayed a couple of times in this room before. loved the room when we got to the room and started to unpack and we travel heavy, i noticed this room now only had a night stand and lamp on one side of the room. we requested to move and they did to room 307 not a suite but still a nice room. they tried to tell us that 309 never had 2 night stands and lamps. when we got home we checked our receipts from previous stays and we were in the same room two other times this year. the other thing that was different on this trip was their were dogs on the upper floors, this is not supposed to be a pet friendly hotel but we have seen some dogs on our trip on the first floor which we have seen at other hotels when they need to accomodate a guest but uts always on the first floor. we are sensitive to pet dander and dont like the odors they leave behind even though we love dogs.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The jacuzzi was a relaxing and bigger than we expected. Even with the construction, parking was easy and plentiful amd everything was clean.

Everyone was very nice

Check-in was easy. Walking down the hallway towards our room, we smelled a pretty strong odor of marijuana and cigarette smoke. As we entered our room it smelled like somebody was sitting in the middle of the room smoking a cigar. The odor was very powerful. I’m surprised the smoke detector didn’t go off. Opening the windows and blasting the AC did nothing to remediate the smell. After speaking with the front desk, there were no other rooms available to switch to. The next day, much of the same. Upon check out, I let the front staff know about the smell and it’s lingering effects (Now our clothes smelled like cigarettes as well). I was told that I would be contacted by management to discuss the issue, and then didn’t hear back from them at all. Definitely disappointing, and shifted my perspective on staying at this location, or others in the future.

Nice and accommodating staff, clean rooms, quiet cooling/heat, free parking, complimentary breakfast. The plumbing is loud in some rooms - lots of squealing and buzzing when rooms around you use shower or toilet. The freeway is loud and constant if you are in a room along the freeway side. If that bothers you, it’s pretty bad.

This was the perfect pick! This hotel speaks of class and grace. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast?? The property is clean and has the potential to be very nice. THEY NEED NEW BEDS! The beds are old, warped and not comfortable. The toilet paper in the rooms is the cheapest available, something you'd find at a roadside gas station. A few simple steps and this could be a very nice place.

All the staffs were great as usual, wish corporate HQ can approve some funds for the GM to update or do some needed maintenance in some rooms that have wear and tear and age deteriorations.

Now about the room and hotel terrible it smelled bad the carpets were so dirty i didn't want to take my shoes off. I only sat on the bed and the matress sinked in. I didn't stay, i asked for a refund and they refunded me my money. I went to the Doubletree in Claremont California
