Atlantic Hideaway

There were several issues with my stay. The door to my room was very difficult to lock from the outside and this was a security issue. There was no hot water, not even warm. And no hangers in the room so I could not unpack. The bed frame seemed very low quality and was unstable. When I got in or out of bed, the whole thing moved and made a loud creaking noise. As well, the online check-in involved a few steps which I completed but did not receive a code to my room which worried me. Luckily someone was onsite when I arrived and provided me with a code but I am not sure what would have happened if no one had been there.

Stayed here for a second time and it’s always a great stay! Close to the beach and Atlantic ave for some good drinks and food. Can’t wait to be back!

I was so impressed with this cottage feel rental. Wow! Had we known we would have rented the days before too. We were in town for a Junior Tennis tournament. Absolutely, Wonderful!

I ended up staying in Delray Beach by happy accident. The Atlantic Hideway was so charming! Just as pictured, very clean, excellent staff responsiveness (no issues-related to late check in). 2 blocks from the main drag on Atlantic Avenue, just far away enough to be away from the noise. Safe neighborhood. Will definitely return for a longer stay!

Cute renovated old school Florida motel within walking distance to the attractions of Delray Beach. In a quiet neighborhood with a great coffee shop across the street. Easy contactless check-in with a great key system. Clean, comfy rooms. My only issue with my stay was that the air conditioning unit was pretty loud at night. Maybe you'd get used to it over time, but would recommend ear plugs for sleeping.

Good central location. Parking spots are a little tight if you are in a truck or SUV. Self check-in was great. The room was clean, basic and reasonably comfortable. Air conditioners are very old and noisy but kept the room nice and cool and helped drown out the road noise!

Had good cold AC however the unit in room #15 seemed a little outdated and only negative it made a really loud uncomfortable sound every time it kicked on Throughout the night, my husband said it sounded like an airplane taking off no joke. We could hear the unit from our parking spot. That being said, it was in a great location walking distance to many restaurants and Atlantic Avenue. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back maybe not staying in that particular room due to ac noise.

Room met my expectations somewhat. It's ok. There was a strong disinfectant odor in the room. It was pleasant at first, but it gave me a headache after hours. There was no ability to 'air out' the room as the only window is shut tight. $14 PARKING FEE and 50 cent registration fee. Nickel and Diming customers, is soap next ? Never staying here again

It was perfect clean crash pad in downtown Delray Beach. Across from Sub-Culture coffee shop, amazing coffee and nice breakfast. It was perfect and affordable especially in this area of Delray Beach. Nothing negative to report.

Room = very clean (much appreciated!). Quiet room locator at the back was appreciated. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Plenty of towels. The room is BLEAK and looked like it was furnished from an army barracks. Really crappy "art" on the wall, worn and stark furniture that was mostly just bare metal. Floors are bare. No extra blanket. Pillows were uncomfortable. The room is for two people but there is ONE desk chair and nowhere else to sit. The whole experience felt like the owners are trying to milk as much cash out of tourists for as little investment or effort as possible. Operations staff were NOT friendly. Emails were cold, mostly nameless, and a bit snarky when I asked why I was required to enter my credit card number THREE times on three different websites during the registration process. Location is ok but not really "steps away" from anything. It's actually about a 15 minute walk to central town. I'd rather pay a bit more and stay in a much better place.

The water in the shower was cold. You could hear people talking in the next room.

Quiet and very comfortable. Easy access to places we needed to go. Would recommend it. The toilet needs to be updated as too low for handicap people and people who are taller than average. Also no tissues or washcloths. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

The staff was very nice ! The room had a chrome rack used for towels , that was very rusty. The dresser located in the closet was chipped. The entire room was shabby and run down .

Washcloths need to be provided. The walkway around the building is very uneven. Someone in our party tripped. AC stopped working at 4am. Otherwise it was decent for the price and location.

Was easy, clean and convenient. However, parking is not included they charged $15 and if you wanted to extend your stay after 11am (check out time) by an hour or so even with availability , there “discounted” price was $111!!!! I wouldn’t go back unless I needed an easy stay.

Not knowing what to expect, I was so surprised at how lovely the room was, how quiet it was despite being near the street, the room service while you're out on the town, and how close it is to the 'strip' and the beach itself - WOW, I will be returning for sure!!!

There was a huge roach in the room when ai arrived. I turned around and went to the Hampton Inn, since there is no front desi to get help. I sent messages that went unanswered and I requested a refund, also unanswered.

The room was absolutely filthy—sticky floors like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, terrible plumbing, and a toilet that wouldn’t flush at all—even after staff supposedly came to fix it. On top of that, we found a live lizard in our room. Yes, a lizard. In our bed. Completely unacceptable. What made it worse was how the staff handled our complaints. We reported these issues multiple times, only to be met with excuses, delays, and zero accountability. Eventually, they even had the nerve to call us liars—as if we made everything up. The dishonesty and lack of respect were outrageous. The property is poorly maintained and even more poorly managed. The toilet clogged after every single use and had to be snaked outside and plunged inside repeatedly. The place claims to have 24-hour service, but no one answers the phone and no one is present in the office. They don’t care about their guests—just the money. We were told we might get a $25–$30 refund, which is an insult considering the experience. This place is a health hazard and a nightmare. Save yourself the headache and stay far away. Total waste of time and money.

There are some very necessary upgrades and renovations needed. Check in was not the smoothest process as I wasn’t aware of the office had hours of operations at 9 am. The number I was given to call answered after my 3rd time calling. Room was decent to sleep and shower in.

The room looked very neat and clean. But there was a very strong smell of bleach when entering the room, which was unpleasant. There were plenty of bath towels and hand towels, but no washcloths.

We enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Hideaway. It was clean , comfortable and the staff was attentive.

I realized I’d be paying a premium for a late room reservation to the Delray Open, but $300 for this room was a chatostophic ripoff.

Great little spot just 2 blocks off Atlantic Ave. Rooms were clean, outdoor space was clear, and the off street self parking is excellent for those of us who like the car handy and/or get tired of needing valets other places!! Great price for location, will return.

An affordable place to stay in Delray Beach. Walkable to Atlantic Ave. Some people might not like online check in procedures. Landscape on outside of building was very nice. Free parking.

The room and bathroom were extremely clean and lovely. However it made me feel uneasy that there isn’t staff at the office 24/7 (or at any time when we were there coming in and out). We also saw a cockroach in the unit unfortunately. Location is very convenient but didn’t feel totally safe to walk around at night.

I give it 2 stars primarily because of the location. It s about half a mile from the main streets and 1 mile from the beach. The "hotel" sits right on a fairly busy street. The hotel itself has not been remodeled probably since the '70s. Many layers of paint, front door which barely closes. Single pane windows which let through all the noise from the street and nearby rooms. Rooms are clean but it seems they use only detergent to clean the floors, without rinsing them after washing them. The result is very slippery floors. Water pressure in the bathroom is superlow. They also charge $15/day for parking. I cannot recommend this place

Its a pleasant little hotel at a very reasonable price. Rooms are clean. Its a few blocks from all the restaurants and lounges and across the street from a great dog friendly cafe. Also the hotel is dog friendly.

Good location walkable to places around the area

Nice, reasonably priced place in Delray- walking distance to everything- Beach, Atlantic Avenue, etc.

I booked this property because it had a 9.4 rating. Did it last minute because was with my mother nearby who passed away that night. I went there, was charged for parking, paid and went idk 8:30 pm,? mom died at 6:30. Took awhile to find the parking, dropped off my stuff, picked up a meal, went back to the place ate and finally changed and saw hair in the bed, stuff under the bed then looked more closely and the bathroom not very clean. I called and told the sheets would be changed. In the meantime I was told to pay for parking which I did. The staff tried, came around 10:30? At this point saw all the other stuff. I had no choice but to leave. 11:00 pm checked into a hotel that was spectacular! To say I was drained is an understatement. I did receive compensation after calls but still not the parking. Still! I’ve asked 4 times. Good luck. Was told new cleaner but truly a $30/night disgusting place. Now I have to follow up with credit card company. $30 isn’t going to break me but lied to and the inconvenience? Ugh. Good luck

Very clean and quiet place. Easy ck in. Great coffee shop right across the street. Close to town

Clean. But a/c unit next to bed is very loud. Ended up just turning it off at 4am. so I could sleep.

arrived at 1 am. No one at front desk. Rooms were not numbered. Took 30 minutes to find our room. No towel service.

I would have given it 5 stars but the internet and wireless connections didn't work. So no TV. Other than that it was excellent. The lack of wireless connectivity seems to be an ongoing issue.

Quaint and great location walkable to downtown

Very quiet, convenient contactless checkin, clean, no-frills room, some difficulty finding parking due to people from the restaurant across the street using the parking spaces. Great location, good value.

I can't speak to what's in the other units, what unit number 9 has caught like folding metal bed frames. I like everything about the stay here except for those bed frames. They're too tall to sit comfortably on the bed and when you're sleeping, any movement of the person in the other bed will make enough noise to wake you up. If they had actual bed frames in this room, this stay would have been five stars.

Well done renovation. Room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and responsive. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping.

Bungalow vibe. Overall, really clean room, Cell it’s old by some rest on some items. Wi-Fi was really slow, but the staff was great and we still had a great time and stay.

There was no microwave in the unit. I realized later that one could requested.

This might be an older building, but so what? It adds a bit of charm. We liked it better than the cookie cutter corporate hotels. Our room clean. The staff was helpful, and its close to downtown. We will definitely stay ahain.

Super quiet room (could not hear anyone else) and the area was quiet. Noisy air conditioner, and a strange cracking/pipping sound that came from the closet area, however. The beds were on the hard side - if you like those you’ll sleep well…unless the air conditioner wakes you up.
