We stayed for 5 nights. The beds were old with 2 indentations on each bed from use. The TV did not work - it flickered, turned black, and then came back on repeatedly. The translucent curtain was broken and did not go up/down. And the thermostat was not working - it was either too hot or too cold when set at 1 degree difference. I spoke to the front desk about it. After my stay I reached out the facility and talked to 2 different managers asking for some remuneration. They said they would get back to me and never did. Other than the room being a big of a disaster for almost $360/night, the main hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

I liked being in the midst of shops, downtown, and being able to walk. The breakfast attendants were very friendly, helpful. The food items were always fully stocked.

This was a one night stay that I wish could have been a whole week. This hotel has always been my favorite for when I am in Decatur. 10/10 would recommend.

The only issue we had was that the can light just inside the door did not work. Our trip was a highly emotional personal situation and we honestly came and went without reporting it. As I checked out it came to mind, only regret was not thinking to report it sooner.

I liked that the hotel required a key to enter the building. I did not like the coffee and never tried the breakfast that was included with our stay. The area did not seem as “safe” as I remembered it being 12 yrs ago when I stayed in this hotel last. Hotel security with a visible presence would have been more reassuring.

Great stay, nice room, great staff, nice area with nearby restaurants and entertainment.

The staff were generally very helpful allowed us to check in remotely before our redeye flight so we could use the room to recover the next morning. There were some electrical problems in our room. The TV would not connect to the hotels, Internet for signal, and some of the power plugs were unreliable, but generally, the room was in good shape.

AC was set way too cool for my taste.

Everything was great! The property was very nice and clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. While the room had some minor wear—like peeling wallpaper and a blue tint on the TV—we were rarely in the room anyway, so it didn’t make a big difference to us. We highly recommend this location and will definitely be staying here again. Keep up the great work!

I stayed for three nights at the Hampton Inn while travelling on business. Upon check-out, I requested an invoice in order to claim the expenses from my employer. I was informed that, because the booking had been made via Booking.com, the hotel could not provide an invoice. Even after I insisted, this position did not change. As a result, I am now experiencing difficulties with my employer (a government organisation) in reclaiming these costs. I have contacted the hotel multiple times—both via the Booking.com platform and directly—but have received no response. I would therefore advise business travellers to avoid this hotel if booking through Booking.com, as the lack of invoicing and follow-up support can lead to significant issues with expense claims.

Blinds were broken in my room, unable to roll it up or down. Mentioned it to staff- nothing done. 1 elevator was working, so there were long waits and you had to ride with cleaning carts. Parking lot is seperate from the building. An elevator down to "T" and a walk past the pool to another outside building to another elevator- not convenient. Had a better stay with a more hospitable staff at BUCKHEAD LOCATION. Garbage can was overfull during breakfast and the waffle batter on floor was a hazardous moment waiting to happen. Location was walking "distance close" for things to do and restaurants.

They were having issues with one elevator not stopping on the 2nd floor while we were there. Luckily, we were on the 3rd floor.

Comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was not as good as it was in prior stays at this location. I was there for 5 days, four nights, and there were several occasions when there was no one at the reception desk.

My only issue with the stay was 1 of 2 elevators was under repair and this hotel definitely needs 2 working elevators for the number of guests. Not that big of a deal though!

Someone always seemed to be cleaning! They roped off the breakfast area. We like to sit at the tables to play games. It felt prohibitive.

I loved the location, hospitality, noise level was great, and the rooms were spacious for our one day stay. I loved the hotel's aesthetics, but the only thing that was disappointing was the TV Screen which was tinted blue and remote was not programmed to adjust the color, so that made it difficult to watch television. The front desk personnel were very nice and explained how all of the room TV's displayed the blue tint so she was unable to change us to accommodate it but overall the stay was good. I would definitely book here again

Plus, she refused to give me a receipt of payment, because she said I had booked the hotel through a third party. This didn't make any sense to me. I paid to the hotel, so why can't I ask for a receipt?! I didn't have time to argue with her, nor did I wish to engage with a single-digit IQ, but I hope the management considers this review seriously.

Great place around Decatur and pretty cheap too. The lobby has many different food items that you can charge to your room, avoiding having to go to a local grocery store or pharmacy. The room was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed two nights for a surgical procedure I had at Emory. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that there is actual flooring in the guest rooms instead of carpet. I wish there were more hotels that have this anti allergen design!

The Hotel is in a great location. The sign for the hotel is elevated and we could not see it from street level. we missed the hotel and had to drive around the block. Otherwise the hotel is great, clean, and staff friendly.

Young man who checked us in had zero southern hospitality. Only one elevator working and it was slow and quite creaky. Shower doors very loud. Bathroom barn door cute but no lock and would roll back open.

I checked in on Friday, and on Saturday someone actually walked into our room because the front desk marked me as a "no show" and checked in a guest to our room. There was no one at the desk in the evening. We called the front desk and asked for extra towels and no one actually delivered any. Terrible experience overall.

Our go-to place to stay when we visit Decatur! Consistently high quality experience — breakfast bar, check-in, attentive staff, pleasant lobby atmosphere and very convenient location for hanging out in the shopping & dining district.

There are probably dozens of restaurants within a ten-minute walk of the hotel. MARTA (train) station is a five minute walk and the airport is about 45 minutes by train.

Nice modern accommodations for a reasonable price walkable and we got to bring our golden retriever puppy for an extra fee, only thing I would have liked to know was that it would be an extra fee to bring our puppy when initially booking
