Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Davis

Nice facility, good location. Downsides: 1) Generic breakfast offerings, 2) charging $12/day for outdoor parking in a location surrounded by open fields?? And 3) no housekeeping for rooms until the 3rd day of the stay. That latter deficiency wasn’t apparent until we found late at night that our room had not been cleaned. There was no notice in the room nor mention of that degraded service when we checked in.

Cocktail at the bar was not the best, but I don’t think the bartender knew how to make the drink - even though it was advertised in a couple of different locations. Not a huge deal, he was super nice and tried his best. Aside from that, my stay was fine and as expected.

We love this hotel in Davis. Plenty of parking for our utility trailer when we move our kids from place to place. Great hot tub for our sore muscles after lifting furniture and boxes all day. Convenient and good breakfast and coffee.

After another hotel & Expedia botched our reservation, Residence Inn had a room available & got us quickly & seamlessly checked in. The staff were extremely helpful & accommodating. Great breakfast included, clean rooms & good size; overall nice stay.

The breakfast was great! Very clean rooms. The staff was quite helpful and friendly. The pull out sofa bed was completely uncomfortable and unusable in the room I stayed in (Room 102) and needs to be replaced. Because of the poor condition of the mattress, I ended up not using the bed and slept on it as a couch. There wasn't bedding anywhere in the room for the sofa bed upon arrival. The staff quickly brought the bedding when we made them aware.

The breakfast was great! Very clean rooms. The staff was quite helpful and friendly. The pull out sofa bed was completely uncomfortable and unusable in the room I stayed in (Room 102) and needs to be replaced. I like the property as a whole, everything was clean and customer service excellent The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress was super thin and uncomfortable, and my child is only 90lbs, so no support at all

The rooms were very comfy and clean. We liked having the small kitchen in each room. Parking over night was $12, which really seems like you're being nickel-and-dimed, but you can park on the street for free. There is a nice place to hang out downstairs. Friendly staff! We will be returning!

Nice quiet area of Davis, near a Target and less than 5 minutes to downtown. When we were there their internet system was down and could not stream on the television. However, everything else was good, and the breakfast also is good.

We stayed at Residence Inn for soccer tournament and we loved it. We had a suite king bed and sofa bed which were comfortable with a kitchen almost fully equipped and enough to make a quick lunch or dinner .Will definitely consider it for our next visit.

Additionally, my kids LOVE the hot tub and pool option! The staff is great - we were there twice in one month and the front desk remembered us at check in! Convenient and quiet.

We had an amazing 5 night stay at the residence inn, the room was super clean and maintained throughout our stay. The breakfast options were great throughout, I enjoyed the pool area particularly during the hot days. The whole area was a good distance from both Davis and Sacramento, and I felt the staff were always warm and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again if I am ever in the area.

Excellent location close to downtown Davis with shopping across the street. The beds were soft, and we fell asleep quickly. The hotel is well insulated-we heard no outside or hall way noise. The room was clean. They had an outside Bar B Que grill, outdoor pool and work out room but we didn't use them. I wish we could have. Check-in was easy peasy and the front desk woman was so friendly, enjoyable and helpful. What a delightful person. We will be back. None! We would have liked to try their breakfast buffet but we had to leave very early to catch a flight from Sacramento.

Our stay was very comfortable and perfect for a couple. Having a bedroom separate from the living room and the kitchen was exactly what we like. The extra cost was minimal and well worth it.

The registration staff were amazing. So genuinely kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was nice. The fact that you could also order food on-site throughout the day was a bonus. My only recommendation is to have more essentials in the store, like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant. (I forgot my deodorant. Lol)

Loved the overall property. Really dislike hide-a-beds and this was no exception. We had three adults and one child. I slept on the hid-a-bed and left with a backache. The desk kindly offered a duvet which helped but not enough.

I would encourage the welcome message on the tv to include the correct guest name. I am big on confidentiality my screen had other guest names on my screen.

I loved my stay, only thing I have to complain is that we reserved for 3 days 2 nights, had to come back for 1 more night. We checked in again, I chose the same suite. Later I noticed they didn't change the bedding in the hide out bed. It had a small stain my son had left from prior nights ago. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

The bacon was good and the veggie scramble was good. As well as the waffles. Larger selection of hot breakfast choices. Also, there was only one tray of the breakfast meat offered, so it was low or just about empty, how about offer 2 trays? Offer different pastries other than muffins, how about scones? Bear claws? Croissants? Not enough waffle makers. The breakfast area was very small, can you make it larger.
