The every other day policy is ridiculous. COVID has been over for years and now the hotel is just using it as an excuse to save some money. Also, the fact that service, when it was done, didn’t happen to later afternoon, at a time we were wanting to change for dinner, suggests that there are too few cleaning staff and again the hotel is just trying to save money rather than meeting the needs of its guests.

Room was great and clean. Breakfast was great as well. Super convenient location, town is very cute and walkable with lots of restaurants near by. The only downside side is that the gym was very hot so it was uncomfortable to work out in.

Great stay in a cute area of Davidson. My 9 and 10 yo enjoyed the pool and putt putt. Breakfast was pretty good. My dog enjoyed sniffing around the grass in the parking lot.

Shyvonne (the manager) went absolutely above and beyond to help me. She was so polite, professional, efficient and most importantly, did everything (and more) she promised to do. She deserves a big raise! Hilton is lucky to have such a talent.

Every staff member was friendly and helpful. In particular, the front desk people were exceptional!

Close to the interstate 77. I chose this location as a midway point for my drive home. It wasn’t clean compared to other places I’ve stayed. There were a few hairs throughout the bathroom and dirt/dust on the dresser/tv stand. I took pictures to show the front desk associate. I believe they are either under staffed with their cleaning staff and need to turn over rooms quickly with less attention to detail or the cleaning staff just simply doesn’t do a proper cleaning because they could care less and are there to collect a paycheck for minimal effort. I usually spend at minimum of $200 per night on an overnight stay to avoid rooms like this. It didn’t meet my expectations of having a clean room and made me wonder what else was not clean. So I slept in my clothes and threw a towel over the pillow as I was too tired to deal with the front desk after driving for 10 hours. This was a one bedroom suite. Hopefully they do better in the future with their cleaning staff. The included breakfast was about average to most places.

Breakfast was solid, not overly great, definitely above average. The room was very nice, the staff was very nice to engage with. Location has plenty of options for good food/drinks nearby. The pool was freezing, maybe because it is indoors and the air temp was mid-90's. Even too cold for my 9 yr old son.

The pull out couch mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It was very thin, worn and I could feel the coils. The check in process was quick and friendly. Everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful! Great staff!! Lots of breakfast options and the food was good. Pull out couch mattress

A wonderful stay. The room was perfect! The one issue is the coffee maker. It should be cleaned often. It had residue. Beyond that, my stay was wonderful. The bar and bartender was great, and he made an Excellent 👌 martini 🍸

breakfast was great, room was perfect and the right size. the full size refrigerator was so much better than the little one most hotels have. to turn the bathroom light on, you had to be outside the bathroom in the sink area. This shines a light and wakes up the person who is sleeping in bed. This is the ONLY bad thing about this room!

When I got there the receptionist told me it was booked for three days later and that she wouldn’t accommodate me unless I paid a rate nearly 100% more than the original. I asked to cancel the Sunday booking and she said she could not and it had to be done by Hotels.com. I then had to find another hotel. Contacted HDC and they said the opposite; that it needed to be cancelled by the Hotel. Tried for two days to get the date cancelled and was told it was non refundable. They charged my CC account today for the date and then sent me this review request. Total scam. I not my family nor my businesses will NEVER use HDC or stay at a Hilton hotel again. Dead serious.

The staff here is absolutely top notch! We had a minor issue in our room that was handled immediately. The breakfast bar was also a big hit with the kiddos. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staff! The pool/weight room and put put golf. This very minor, but the breakfast although a wonderful touch with great staff, would be even better with a waffle/pancake maker.

That staff was phenomenal! Shout to the front desk team and housekeeping staff! Facility was great! My youngest son loved the pool, my eldest son loved the fitness room! We all love a little put put golf:-)

Our family had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the pool that started at 3ft - it allowed our youngest to touch the bottom. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean, breakfast good (better than most "complimentary" breakfasts I've had, staff friendly, and parking plentiful. I didn't love the pillows, wish I would have brought my own. Overall everything was great!

It has the best breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel. There's an ice cream shop right across the street, which is fun. We didn't use the pool but it looked great. The fitness center is nice.

I cannot say enough how friendly the staff was at this location. On our first night, I believe her name was Jasmine working the front desk...she was so sweet in helping with a silly tv remote issue and just making our check in smooth. From there, ALL the staff acknowledged us as we were coming and going. Our one complaint: the pool was freezing!

Very comfortable stay. Within walking distance of "downtown" Davidson and the campus and also an easy walk to the North Harbour restaurant where I was dining with a group. Breakfast and bar area is attractive, and the breakfast was pretty good, especially the tortilla option. Bar was quite good. Room was spacious. Decorated to the hilt with a nautical motif, which was nice but somewhat amusing for someone who remembers when there was no Lake Norman. My only small gripe is that all four pillows very soft and squishy, and I prefer firmer ones.

The thing that is preventing me from giving a higher rating is that no one cleaned our room or brought new towels during our stay. It is understandable to not do housekeeping on Thanksgiving, but not the other days. We called the front desk one morning to have new towels brought in, and they were not delivered. My wife had to get them from the front desk that evening.

This was a great spot for our family as we visited for the holiday. The facilities were just a little worn, but that didn't affect the quality of our stay. I just wouldn't say they were excellent.

We came here from the Kimpton in downtown charlotte after having a miserable time and this was such a reprieve, we even tried to extend our stay by a night but it was fully booked. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Expedia canceled my reservation. My wife and daughter had to sleep on the airport floor due to the fact that weather conditions meant that all hotels in Charlotte were sold out. I will never use Expedia again.

This was a very nice suite. The layout was more like a one bedroom apartment with its separate bedroom and living room. The kitchen had ever essential needed for a quick meal. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I noted Homewood Suites by Hilton in my home office to look for them in future travel. The only negative I found was that the bathroom could use a dim light, in addition to the bright overhead, for use in the middle of the night.

Stayed before when niece at Davidson college. Very nice. Great location for shopping, dining. Harris Teeter. It was very expensive , more that past probably due to college orientation started. Over $400 a night. Wouldn't stay multiple nights at that price and only available nice hotel in area for visiting family one night. Breakfast excellent. Bacon. Eggs etc... desk staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very welcoming.

While the staff at the front was always friendly and helpful, the cleaning crew continuously forgot to leave new clean towels after cleaning the rooms. Breakfast quality has improved the more we have stayed but the low quality sausage choice, hard dry french toasts and stiff pancakes leave a lot to be desired

The area around the hotel was fantastic and had a number of amenities close, including restaurants and a grocery store. It was also a very walkable area. The staff was terrific and was very helpful with any questions I had while I stayed. 10/10 would recommend.

The room STUNK like rotten garbage. We asked housekeeping to address it but it never improved. The second night of our stay the fire alarm went off at 11:45pm and everyone had to vacate the building. 30 mins later the Fireman gave the all clear. At 8am the next day the fire alarm went off again and we had to vacate again. Our stay was not enjoyable.

The room was large with high ceilings and everything was clean. The breakfast was varied and tasty, and the breakfast attendants were prompt with refilling empty coffee, food, and utensils. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very walkable and pictureque.

Our shower was broken and we were unable to use We had already dressed and went down for breakfast . I told the employee at the front desk. She offered for us to wait and get it fixed or go to another room. I said we are leaving today and don’t want to go through that hassle. She never offered to reduce the rate at all. I thought she definitely should have.

The sheets had hairs all in them. I also saw a bug in the bed.

The recent remodeling of the hotel really gave our room a fresh, modern look. However, there was a lack of furniture. The sitting area could have used a coffee table or a couple end tables, along with a comfortable chair. Otherwise, our stay was quite pleasant.

Not happy with the fact that this hotel was under massive construction and we were not notified. Parking was an issue as well. Very disappointed.

Wonderful front desk staff. Very welcoming.

The check in was smooth, room was clean spacious, at night we have a smoke alarm turned on and was like that for many hours my baby grandson was unable to sleep well as well my daughter and son, the front desk was unable to make contact with maintenance.

Very nice hotel in a nice part of town. Just an overnight stay, passing through, but very restful. Great sushi restaurant across the street!

Great accommodations and a nice area

Everything was great, and I really want to compliment Boomie. She checked us in and out, and she also fielded my call when we got home and thought we had left something. Each time she was personable and fun to interact with, as well as efficient at juggling many tasks. She’s awesome!

Very nice experience traveling with our two dogs.

Room was outstanding. Very, very clean, plenty of amenities that would be great if we stayed more than one night. Breakfast was excellent as well.
