Red Roof Inn Darien - I-95/ North Brunswick

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I hope they fix the ice machine on the first floor and the pictures on hotels.com showing a comfortable, cushioned chair in the room should be removed. They don’t have that chair in any room.

Wonderful staff and very clean property

Very clean and well maintained. We had a good nights rest and it was quiet.

This was a stop on the road after a weekend in Charleston, SC. Very easy access from the highway. Refurbished rooms were really just paint and linens. The place could be cleaner and parking area needs some attention. The staff at night was great. Would probably drive a little further down the road. We used RR when we had dogs. Probably not again for awhile. Maybe I’m just getting older.

The room was clean and we had only stayed the one night. The water pressure in the shower was low, but probably just needed to have mineral build up soaked off (it was not dirty at all, you could just see that the minerals were starting to build up) check in and out were super easy. The building had normal wear and tear but was generally very clean.

Beautifully renovated near interstate...parking was a bit confusing as to the entrance...make sure you enter thru the 1st entry at the Comfort Inn entrance and immediately turn left in front of the building and continue till you see the RRI which sits back a bit...staff ULTRA friendly and helpful.

Entrance a little confusing, the signage was good so you knew you were close. Iniatially I thought Red Roof Inn had been taken over by Comfort Inn.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but in the middle of the night I found a half inch winged insect crawling up my body in bed. Having killed it, I went into the bathroom, where I found one of its cousins climbing up the wall. Apart from the insect infestation, it might have been a decent stay. No breakfast, just coffee.

Front desk staff was not friendly on 5/3/26 around 7pm. No continental breakfast. Room locked some supplies like plastic cups. Electrical switch lighting was not properly done. In order to use the bathroom, you need to switch lights on outside where the sink is. Its ok during the day, but during night, you disturb your family's sleep because lights go on and they wake up. Must fix it. Cleanliness was decent. Bed were comfortable. Three stars.

The side farthest from the lot needs a good power wash. And the bathroom could use an update or two. But listen… the other hotels in the area are genuine nightmare. This location was helpful, efficient, and a good one night stop on our long trip. If you want luxury, go pay for luxury and don’t complain. But if you need a nice bed, a shower, and friendly faces for a night? This is an excellent location for that. We really did leave satisfied and found the individuals at the desk endearing. Thank you!

Checking was very attentive. The rooms were very clean but the soaps and lotions were empty. Towels were small and very old. Over all it was what to be expected for the price since we were looking for dog friendly hotels.

Very nice property, clean rooms with a very helpful staff. Our TV didn’t work properly but they did offer to change our room and tried to get the tv working properly. We denied the room change but appreciated their efforts.

The hotel is particularly spartan, the table and four chairs in the foyer tells the story. No extras. The A/c is particularly noisy and comes on with a whoosh and clamor. I stayed awake a good part of the night.

Well, last night we stayed at an Econo Losge which was about a 2/10. Tonight we stayed at this Red Roof Inn. What a difference. This is a quiet hotel with a central entrance and room access from inside corridor. Room is clean and as described. Ice machine in the hallway. We are very pleased with this hotel.

We stayed for one night on our way from MA to FL in a superior room and it was great. A nice change from other places we’ve stayed that were below par to say the least. This was just what you should be able expect from a budget hotel. Got a deal on the room too and used some points to get down to $30 for one night. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay at the Red Roof Inn I-95 North Brunswick was pleasant and affordable, with a convenient location right off the interstate, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and pet-friendly rooms, plus it’s just a short drive into Darien to visit friends, though there’s no breakfast offered. While my stay at the Red Roof Inn I-95 North Brunswick was overall good, the bed was a bit too spongy for my liking—every time I rolled over, there was a loud metallic clank—and the room had a strong animal odor, which I guess is to be expected in a pet-friendly room.

Nothing There were bugs, like water bugs or roaches at night in my room. The bed was saggy. The air conditioner smelled like mildew.

We like to stay here for the convenience to 95 and the fact that pets stay free. It has been redone and the beds are very comfortable. My only wish is that they get some thicker towels.

Newly renovated. Bed and room were wonderful. Hardwood floors and fresh. Parking lot small and older exit location but amazing place to feel safe and sleep well. No breakfast. But would stay again. Check out Skippers restaurant in town.

They charged me $60 for my pets after it lists pets stay for free. Then the room the put me in smelled horrible and there was pet pee all over the walls where the previous pets had peed. Towels had an awful smell. We booked 2 days and left after the first day and just lost the money for the 2nd day.

This is been the worst experience ever and locked in a room scared to go out because of these people that are running. This are actually have stopped harassed camping in my room went without anything notice have charged my card a total of seven times and not including the times yesterday And the police have been notified and at this time they are still banging on the door I recommend at this place a bit, reported immediately to the property as they would not allow me to make a complaint, and they are aware of their harassment If I did not have this already booked up, I would’ve been out of here as I could not stay on the streets feel now that I will have been better off. This is been traumatic.

Quick in and out. We were traveling with our children and just needed someplace to sleep. It is a bare minimum hotel. Overall the cleanliness was just ok. There was a hair in our sink that wasn’t ours (it was there when we got into the room). The bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable to me.

It's quiet, the staff was super nice and helpful. They accommodate families with babies well. Also a HUGE plus that they are dog friendly and don't even charge an extra fee if you only have one dog! All in all, a pretty good experience.

Nice overnight stop which I would do again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and bed was comfortable. Our only concerns were in bathroom - no place to hang towels and would have liked a grab bar in tub.

This place was surprisingly good. It's not a 5-star hotel, but was far superior than you'd expect in this price bracket.

We werent sure about the area, and the exterior wasnt as posh as other hotels but the inside was clean and updated. The rooms had been redone. Could still tell it was an older hotel but again, it was clean and comfortable. The mattress was GREAT. I woke up with no stiffness or pain, and that is a huge plus!! Price was good.

It was a good stay. However, my keys kept having problems and that became increasingly annoying. However the staff were very accommodating. I would stay there again.

The AC didn’t work, the staff checked the air conditioner and left, didn’t tell me when to change the room, had to call the front desk after 10 minutes, it’s already 11PM. So basically the staff didn’t communicate well with us about the plan, and we had to wait and call. Besides, when we switched to another room and was busy with moving our stuff, the staff didn’t wait for us finishing moving but asking someone else to check the air conditioner, not feeling comfortable. Will feel better if the staff let us finish moving first.

This property was well maintained. The check in process was smooth and quick. The hotel was able to honor my request for a ground floor room. They accepted my dog with no extra fees. The room contained a microwave and refrigerator which were clean and exceedingly convenient. I enjoyed everything about this stay.

The first night I had a regular room which was very clean and comfortable but basic -- there were tiny holes in the curtains that needed replacing, AC was loud and the fan didn't work properly, no coffee pot, coffee in the room, etc. 2nd night I was upgraded to a 'superior' room. It was huge and everything was very nice and worked well, and included a coffee pot and coffee. Reminded me of the old days when 'superior' was what we expected for a 'regular' room (except for the size). Times have definitely changed.

By far, one of the nicest pet friendly hotels along I-95. This hotel will be our go-to stop on our regular trips to see family! No breakfast, but fresh coffee 24/7 and they have an elevator for ease to upper floors.

We had to evacuate for the hurricane and the staff there were awesome and super helpful they were pet friendly and I had to leave a day early and they refunded my second night without hesitation they were all around great people to deal with and they went above and beyond

We spend just a night here and it was terrible. Room not cleaned, bathtub clogged. It says the hotel offers breakfast which it’s not true. They have just a coffee area. Terrible experience. I have no ideia how it has an excellent review.

We stayed one night on a road trip. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. They even called before I arrived to confirm that I had reserved two rooms instead of one. I had, but I appreciated them checking before they charged me. The bathrooms are old, so I am sure that will be an issue for some people. However, the room was clean, large and spacious, and the location was within 5 minutes of Fort George and good local restaurants. We would definitely stay again.
