Quality Inn Darien - North Brunswick

We rented 2 rooms. The staff was fine, nothing special to point out, but the rooms had an odor and the bedsheets felt damp like the room had been super humid and the AC did not do enough to make up for that. I would not stay here again.

Breakfast was okay. Convenient location to errands I had to do. Pool was closed. Entrance doors had strong odor of weed.

I was hesitant to stay at another Quality Inn but this one was pretty good. Decent breakfast. The pool was closed though and per the site it was supposed to be open.

I would have like to have been able to swim in the pool. I asked before I booked and was told that the pool would be opened. Unfortunately, this did not happen. There was also construction or remodeling going on in the building. I would have liked to know this in advance as well. Had I been privileged to accurate information, I would have made another choice.

No one at dest most of the time. Let stuff run out at breakfast bar. Waited 15 minutes to check out no one ever came.

The proximity was convenient to where I needed to be and the price was fair and the breakfast was a plus. When we were leaving, it was pretty warm in the lobby area.

Parking easy enough. Room was somewhat rundown, didnt 'feel' clean. Good water pressure, and hot water in shower. Towels larger than some hotels, but pretty thin and rough. Overall - it was easy access to highway after touring Savannah, but would most like try somewhere different next time.

It is conveniently close to I-95, ample parking and the bed was comfortable, but most everything else needs an update. The pool was closed and the water was green. The pictures they show online are misleading. For some reason they claim to be a 8 out of 10, nonsense! This is a 5.

No breakfast as advertised! There was 2 cold cereals and cofffee and that was it! Front desk did upon request unlock the juice beverages and after request brought out a 3/4 gone gallon of milk in plastic jug. Wondered if it was his personal milk. Thankful to him for the milk.

1 the refrigerator doesn’t have a freezer. Staff put my ice packs in a separate freezer. Just a minor inconvenience. 2 the toilet is too low! Since the toilet location puts you in a cramped corner you almost can’t get up after sitting down. You should have chair height toilets not ones designed for an elementary school, or add grab bars!

I like the size of room. We were traveling n stop in to get a room n he charged us 20 more bc it was before 3pm we stopped at 2pm. Nobody was there. We actually thought they were closed. We definitely won't b back.

I loved that it was quite and friendly staff. Everyone was nice and it was a great spot in between both locations I needed to go to. The remote control wasn’t working to our tv a the shower heads need to be cleaned or exchanged out.

Rooms typically have a maintenance item or two to get repaired. Have seen USB ports without power, leaks in toilets, badly stained bedspreads that they immediately replaced, and— yesterday— the window drape bar detached from the ceiling on one side.

Overall, it was not a great hotel experience, but again the price was low so I guess we got what we paid for.

At such a low room rate, i was a little leery of staying there. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. My only complaint is that the toilet is far too low for a 73-year-old with a bad leg to use, no grab bar. Otherwise, excellent!

I was so pleasantly suprised (for the price too) at how new and nice this property was. Obviously a well thought out remodel. The sheets, the beds- everything was so well done. We both said the best sleep we’ve gotten in a long time!

We had a late check in at 9:45ish on March 8, 2025. The attendant was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The price is exceptional and the hotel is very quite. This is our 4th stay here and we have had a pleasurable stay every time.

Room was ok. Bed was clean and comfortable. TV worked fine. Hotel itself was run down as were the rooms. Breakfast was the worse. The entire breakfast area was filthy. Garbage cans were overflowing and food selection was minimal. Tables in dining area were all dirty and we had to ask staff to clean when before we could sit down and eat. Would not stay there again. On a positive note, staff was very nice.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel facility clearly is an old building showing its 'age'; despite that, the facility was well maintained, the room was very clean and neat including the bathroom. It was perfect for a overnight stay for our journey to Florida.

Everything was satisfactory as far as the condition of the building the cleanliness of the room the dead being comfortable. The only drawback in my opinion was the breakfast which was skimpy at best. Other than waffles and bread items there was nothing else to eat. So when they say breakfast is included don't expect much.

No one at the front desk when I arrived- waited for several minutes after ringing the bell to get assistance. Another guest called the number and asked for someone to assist with checking in. Room was okay. Breakfast was minimal. No regular coffee. Juice machine did not work(or was empty). Milk in the pitcher in the refrigerator was curdled. Rags were left in the sink in the breakfast room.

A great value, clean and everything we needed for a overnight stay off of I-95 on our way to Florida. We really appreciated the cleanliness, having a fridge in the room and a “just enough” breakfast to start the morning off right. Thanks!

Older hotel, not well kept but not terrible. Got in my room, 2 beds, pull covers back and there was HAIR on the sheets! Pulled the covers back on the other bed, same thing but LESS HAIR!

1. Their breakfast consist of muffins, cereal, yogurt, self-make waffles, boiled eggs, and coffee/juice. 2. Their appliances were bolted. For instance, the iron was bolted to the ironing board which made it difficult to iron pants. The hair dryer was bolted to the wall which made it difficult to blow dry long hair. My arms got tired from pulling on the coiled plug. 3. When we went, it looked deserted. Which can make it look unsafe. But they do have a cameras in the lot, so that made us feel more safe. 5. They could use some upgrading to their linen (discolored but clean). 4. They have McD, Wendys, and Waffle House nearby. Theres also the Coastal Market grocery store which has an awesome hot/cold deli. We went there for breakfast and it was cheaper than McD's. Overall, for a quick stay to visit reletives in Darien (which was 5 mins away), it served its purpose. Seems to be family owned and I'm always for a "small business".

The property had minimal outside lighting. It had several semi's parking on the street and several guys just hanging around, on the property. The courtesy of personnel at front desk at check in and check out was less than cordial. I'd never return to this property.

They would not allow us to check in because we booked and paid in full thru hotels.com. I guess the hotel was shorted some money so i offered to pay difference. Nope! I also had the representative from hotels.com talk to desk clerk but still no solution. So, an hour and 10 minutes later we had to buy another room which was refunded the next day. In the meantime we needed to use the bathroom with a family of 4, but the lobby bathroom was out of order. Awful experience. Avoid at all cost!

Pretty basic accommodations, wasnt super clean... the toilet had some easy to remove staining and shower/ sink werent great... overall made me suspicious about the cleanliness. It was easy and basic for what we needed it for.

We had to find a place in this tiny town. There really isn’t much to choose from. This hotel definitely needs remodeling. It’s old and needs new tubs and toilets. The toilet, picture attached has stains in the bottom, so bad it looks like feces is in the bowl. Also, the toilet sits so low, I thought I was falling. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the sheets were some of the softest sheets I’ve ever felt and I am picky about my sheets. All in all it was just a place to lay our head for one night, so it worked.

We stayed here to visit St. Simon’s Island, Jekyll Island and Brunswick. It was good for the money and my husband loved their breakfast. The abandoned outlet mall next door is creepy and I hope it gets renovated in the future, although I know it’ll make traffic in and out very difficult. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was easy to get in and out of, and it was close enough to the things we wanted to do.

We stopped here for the night on the way to Florida. It was safe and quiet at night. The shower was a little old however we didn’t need to use it. The staff was very friendly and the waffles for breakfast were great.

It was good except the pool was closed on the weekend and it was 90 degrees outside. It didnt open back up until the day we had to check out. Just our luck I guess. We came to visit family.

When we entered our room, we were hit with a very warm and humid environment. The a/c system wasn’t even on. It took forever to cool. Everything is outdated. The lawn’ outside is nonexistent but a mess unkempt weeds among rocks. I won’t take a chance with Quality Inn again

The quality inn itself was clean quiet and well maintained. It was a good place to spend the night.

Average place. The cleanliness was good when arriving but after that some things went down hill. We had daily trash but they wouldn’t pick it up so we would have t on take it to the trash can by the pool so it wouldn’t be in our rooms. Speaking of pool, there were people drinking, smoking and cussing while my kids were swimming. I informed the staff but nothing was done. Multiple families came to the pool but turned around and left. Breakfast wasn’t great but is the usual continental. The owner was constantly asking us for our keys every time we left the hotel so we finally said “sir we aren’t checking out for another two days.” And the elevator was scary. It was affordable and I was clean besides the trash not being picked up, but I wouldn’t stay again.

Quite large older rooms. Linen needs to be crisp mine was wrinkled. Limited choice for breakfast. Ok for a one night stay.
