Location off interstate was good They had trouble checking me in, even though I had the email with my booking number.

The beds were comfortable and worked well for our family as we drove down south for vacation. It was a little outdated, but this was not a significant issue; everything worked well and was clean.

I checked in at 3:30 (check in time is 3:00). The room was dirty; there was a black ring around the toilet bowl which would have taken a while to build; the toilet seat and under the lid were wet; the toilet ran every few minutes all night (leaky flapper?); the surfaces in the room were sticky/dirty; the walls were generally in poor condition (not a big deal if the room was clean); the man who checked me in was professional, helpful and personable.

First, Hotels.com gave us wrong directions (which was crazy), but let's add in the fact that the toilet was broken, the fridge was nasty, but worse was the fact that there doesn't seem to be anyone that really cared about the whole place. I mean even the toilet paper was gross!! Like wth people?!?

Lady at front desk was super sweet and helpful. But…… as soon as you get the key and walk to your room you have to avoid the people living in a trailer in the back. The moment you walk into the door of your room you instantly regret it. The smell of mold was so bad my entire family woke up with the worst sinus pain of our lives. You could taste the smell of the room for hours after we left. Checked the mattress for bed bugs. No bugs just tons of old blood stains. We all slept with clothes that we were wearing on and changed at a random restaurant when we left before the sun even came up. Slept on top of the blankets to keep extra layers. A family of 5 slept in one bed and chair that did not have the blood stains. Don’t use the toilet if you have bad knees bc it was so low my toddler thought it was a toilet at her school.

I liked the room and how clean it was The beds were to high and toilet too low. We were traveling with 2 disabled people and it was hard get on the bed and off the toilet

The place is filthy and in extremely poor condition, it needed an update at least like 20 years ago. Absolutely disgusting! How does this location have 7.7 star rating is absolutely beyond me!

Breakfast was average. Location just off the highway. We would stay again. Cleaning crew could do better. Body wash dispenser was empty. Found a pair of socks left by previous guest behind hassock.

Very comfortable and the owners very nice and accommodating It needs some updating but it was clean so really no complaints. We would stay again.

power was out at my house. mother on oxygen 24/7 they had power. they were extremely busy checking people in. they still had a pleasant attitude. comfortable beds and pillows. stayed 2 nights. quite. it was a little tight for a wheelchair otherwise everything was fine

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, convenient location and price The rooms are definitely not cleaned or checked before you check in. My room temp was set to 81°, dead bug on the sink, 2 live cockroaches found in the bathroom throughout the night. Black stains on the towels and bedding. Feeling itchy in my hair and everywhere on my body, they might have those micro mites in their bedding. Shower was really run down with awkward water flow from the shower head and the drain was clogged. Won’t be coming back, I’ll pay the extra money to get something clean next time.

The only thing I didn't like was, the room could have used a good deep cleaning and it needs a new shower head.

harris neck w.r. and sapelo island are wonderful places to visit around here. Darien is nice

The website advertised a pool, which is the main reason we booked this motel. There was no pool. There was mildew in the bathroom and the lobby had an odd odor. We slept and left early, didnt even stay for the lame continental breakfast.

It was quiet. No noise transfer. Stains on the furniture and the curtains were falling down. The A/C had to be unplugged to turn it off. It was unplugged upon arrival.

I couldn’t even put my stuff down the room was disgusting and had a horrible smell I went to the front desk and asked for a refund and of course got the run around I would never recommend this place to anyone and I’d take it off your site its horrible

Very nice front desk worker. The room was neat but not "clean." The rooms need a deeper cleaning (floors/walls, etc.) between stays, but, it was very quiet, the bed WAS clean and comfortable, great AC, and plenty of channels to enjoy.

Our stay here was a last minute decision and a poor one on my part. I should have read the reviews better. The lobby was horrible and smelled like marijuana, the free breakfast was not a breakfast you wanted to eat or trust, the rooms were VERY outdated. This property is trash. The texture on the ceiling was hanging down loose all over the room, the vent in the bathroom was loose and hanging BY one wire, a total fire hazard. The bathroom door hadn't been wiped off in well over a year. Sugar ants everywhere. And we both woke up with welts/bites. The front desk area was junked up

Really not enough space to describe my stay at America’s Best Value inn in Darien, Ga. lack of option left is with only this location with any available bookings. Tried to pull in to the parking lot and there was a line to get in the building to check in or even park. They had one night clerk who was very overwhelmed and dealing with computer issues. Angry crowd of people that had already booked and waiting to get keys. We got there a little after 11pm didn’t get our keys until after 1am. The keys didn’t work and are had to come unlock our doors manually. My daughter immediately came out of the room shaking her head no. As soon as she turned on the light in the bathroom a roach ran across the sink. My room wasn’t terrible...I definitely felt like I could wake up in a bath tub missing my kidney but I was exhausted. I pulled the sheets back and there was hair on them that WAS NOT MINE. The bathroom had mold or something all around the toilet. Definitely thought I’d hover over that toilet. On the bright side...it didn’t have bed bugs. I did keep my kidneys. My kids said fire alarms went off twice during the night but I didn’t hear them. Refused to allow my children to take anything into the room but a blanket. Made them shake it off before they got in the van. I remember the night clerk saying something about “it may not be up to some people’s standards but we just redid the rooms” so many red flags I should have just slept in my van but we were desperate.

At first driving in , the hotel is old and looks rundown . But upon entering the room , it was all we needed for a night of rest. The room was clean , the beds very comfortable, spacious, and all we needed . Easy to find, and perfect for a nights sleep.

It was absolutely the most disgusting place that we have ever stayed at. The info on website said cleaned after every guest. Room as not clean, sheets and blanket were so thin you probably could read the news paper through them especially the sheets. The room reeked of a moldy smell. The rooms had been slightly remodeled but the hotel itself is quite dumpy. The check in area, where I guess breakfast was served, was a disgusting mess. I wouldn't have eaten there if you paid me. The ice machine didn't work and the outside was just generally dumpy. The beds did seem clean. We got a great value but you do get what you pay for.

It was incredibly dirty. Towels were stained. Spider webs all over the place. AC unit was filthy

Staff was super friendly. Check in quick. We have stayed here in the past, its close to duck humtimg at the wildlife managent area

2. Light bulb in light/fan was out...exchanged it with lamp bulb. 3. Ceiling above shower was stained; suspect it was mold. 4. Some of the caulk was missing along the top of the tub surround; suspect mold was in these gaps. 5. Window curtain does not fully cover window. I had to shut curtain in door to cover the window. 6. Electrical wall outlet between bed and window does not hold plug in place for top plug and bottom plug barely; possible fire hazard.

The lobby/breakfast room was probably 10 by 10. We checked in around 4 and there were no drinks available in the coffee carafes or the water/juice carafes. the room was dark and dingy, only big enough for 12 people to sit at cafe tables.The single bathroom was dingy, The toilet paper appeared to have been wet and dried out. The sink was more like the type that belonged in a janitor's closet. Not at all appealing to a guest. Only good part of the hotel was easy off and on of I95.

There was a huge puddle outside my door. Water leaked up from the carpeting at the door. It smelled like cigarettes.

This property needs to be closed down. From the entrance to the rooms was horrible. Apparently there has been no up keep, room had visible dust and dirt, bathroom were not properly cleaned. There was a very strong odor in the rooms. Spider webs and dead bugs visible as you entered the rooms. Roofing at front entrance hanging which I found to be a hazard for guests and employees. The health department needs to inspect this property. Thr pictures Shown on the internet are misleading and should be removed. I do plan to post current pictures so the truth can be seen.

The worst motel I have ever stayed in! Filthy, I bought wipes to wipe everything down. I don’t mind old if clean. This was disgusting. Would have left. No other rooms available in area. Almost slept in car.

This room is more in the $45-50 range than the rate charged. We checked out after two days.

Nice picture. Frig & microwave. Unfortunately, the rug is dirty. Obviously is not cleaned. Bathroom is old and gross. I wouldn't take a shower there.

Low cost hotel, Nice & clean and beds slept great! A+++ I would stay there again!
