The whole experience was not encouraging. Guest were not properly attended to and they seem short staff even to change bedsheets after four night. They offered to give me extra bedsheets to fix by myself. Very rude and nonchalant. Other guests will definitely have something to say!

People with ankle monitors selling things out of the trunk. A group of people performing a 5 hour car repair. A homeless person's trash bags and belongings stored next to the staircase. Said homeless person feeding a flock of ducks in the parking lot where a man and woman were smoking crack from a crack pipe!!! The BSO showed with 6-8 sheriffs around 11:30pm when a domestic dispute turned into a brawl between a group of people. Meanwhile the door lock to my room did not lock and was only held shut by the dead bolt and a chair that I leaned against it. The room itself was disgustingly dirty. There was a syringe, a SYRINGE behind the toilet. If you enjoy penitentiary vibes minus the free prison food then this is your spot. I TOOK PHOTOS. Don't walk, RUN FROM THIS PLACE.

I'd guess you get what to pay for we had to wait a couple hours for clean blankets. The pool was not open. There were ducks all over the property. Following us around. It works close to the airport though

Nothing Property was dirty, clothes were hanging over poles drying, no one was at the front desk when we went to go check in. Waited for about 30 minutes no one ever showed up. Waited outside for about another 10 minutes still no one came to the front desk. Some guy pulled a gun on someone in front of the building. We got an uber and left to a different hotel. Would never recommend.

First off, the staff are amazing, this is not about them. The issue with this place is that it smells of mildew, some rooms worse than others, but you get an early preview of this in the lobby. The rooms are not cleaned very well, shower has hair in it and appears to have been used to wash a dog/animal that had clawed the bottom of the tub. The animal also appears to have attempted to tear its way through the bottom of the bathroom door since a large chunk of the bottom of the door is missing. Don't expect all rooms to be the same, one had a phone while another did not. One had a large nice TV and the other had a small TV with the backlight bleeding through. No fridge, one communal microwave in the lobby. Pool has ducks swimming in it and is not maintained frequently, debris floating around as well as dead bugs. For the amount paid per night here, it is not worth the price. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra $40-$50 and get a decent hotel.

The front desk person was very friendly and nice. The beds in my room only had a sheet and one pillow a piece. The TV did not have cable, it had a single channel that played the same thing over! The shower curtain was stained with what looked to be dried blood. The water came out a yellowish color. The entire property did not match what the pictures depict online!

Bed bugs! I checked in and saw a bed bugs when I pulled the sheets back within 5 minutes.. I immediately went right back to the front desk and left. I took a video and pictures and showed the staff at the front desk and let them know before I was leaving.

This was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were assigned room # 109 and it was in a horrible state of disrepair. The door did not latch from previous forced entry. The walls and cabinetry were severely damaged and not any sign of attempted repairs. This was an all time low, even for Motel 6. We would like to ask for our money to be refunded, and feel that this establishment should be inspected by both Expedia and Corporate Motel 6

Well, we didn’t get bedding at all and when we went to ask the stuff she loved she tried to help and she couldn’t find anything so she gave us sheets so we had to use sheets as blankets. in the room, it was clean, but the picture of what I saw online and what I got was two different things.

This hotel is way too old. Lots of broken in the room. Toilet supplies is not available. Need a renovation especially the entry door room. Pictures online is not true. The rates on line were decent. When I arrived the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that it was quiet with no interruptions.. The water pressure was nice and strong and the water was nice and hot. I reserved a I bed for two adults, and the first thing I noticed was pillows on the bed for 1 adult. Only one wash cloth and one hand towel. I went to get 2 pillows, a hand towel, and a wash cloth. I received the two pillows and a hand towel. OK, cool. The TV was on when I entered, and there was no remote, and the tv screen was half dark.. I was thinking of walking to the store to get TV dinners and cold drinks but changed my mind because there was no microwave or refrigerator. I opened the pillows that I received from the desk, but when I went to discard the packaging, there was no garbage can.. I went to take a shower, and the tub was clean but stained, and the door could not close because the bottom hinge was damaged. Not only that, but as I was taking a shower, the light cover fell off of the ceiling. I made that walk to the store and came back with drinks to learn that the ice machine had no ice.

Keep in mind if you go cheap you pay twice. Hotel was ok if u looking for something affordable. However, night stand fell off wall and I had to Jimmy rig the curtain to fully close.

This place looks nothing like the pictures. All dirty, garbage all over the place in the parking lot. Bad beds, bad pillows….. really the worst place I’ve ever stayed. My mistake was only look at the pictures and not read the reviews. Next time I will make sure to do that. So if anyone reading this… please don’t book the place.

I believe Expedia should not have places like this in its options for customers. At the end of the day you are trusting Expedia to make a selection of places that at least have the minimum requirements for a safe stay.

I didn’t even get to use the facilities, I got to motel 6 around 8 pm a there was short staff, no internet and the staff didn’t even know how many rooms she had available. Rooms were not fully ready, customers had to come back and ask for towels, pillows and blankets. Not a good service at all.

I made the bed up with no pillowcases. At 10 o’clock at night had to go ask for two pillowcases. Property was dirty, the bathtub looked like it was 50 years old. Doors were crooked and would not close all the way, letting bugs and everything else in from the outside. Front desk staff was very friendly.

When we walked in, the drape was off the drape rod, the phone was not connected and wires were sticking out. They put a small tv where a big tv had been and the toggle not only move the tv, it changed channels too. The rooms are not like picture! While in the room, we sat on the bed and started getting bit. That was it! Down in the area where they have a washer/driver is, there was a homeless man there. When we arrived he had been outside with his stuff. I called someone to come get us out of there!! I handed the lady the keys back and told her I wasn’t staying there!! Until they revamp/remodel and get personnel in there who will care for the property, it will be a problem. I can see this at home not on vacation.

Reservation confirm the reservation charged to my credit card showed up no rooms available claimed that they didn’t have my credit card information even though they charged my credit card.

I made the reservation thru Expedia. Uppn arrival at motel, we were told they no longer had my room. They had rented out to someone else. To say I was unhappy would be an understatement. Waiting on my credit card bill to arrive to make sure my money was refunded.

Office was chaos when I arrived to check in, which you have to do through a slot in a window I can only assume is bullet proof glass. The young lady at the front desk handled things well. On entering the room it had an overwhelmingly STRONG odor of cat urine. Front desk said they had no other rooms and offered mea can of Lysol. The room was hot, muggy, smelled bad, sheets had dirty stains, the tub was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. We just slept on top of the covers and got out first thing in the morning. Will never return.

I have been using this hotel since 2020 when the hotel has undergone a remodeling process and it was awesome. Now the hotel is so outdated that is difficult to think how it retain the franchise name (Motel 6) in such conditions. To start it smell smoke (specially marihuana) all over the place. The ice machines are out of order (so last year when I stayed by the same time). Bath tubs are super old and dirty. My room did not have; blanket, toilet paper, soap and towels. I have to get back to office in order to have only towels because there's was no toilet paper or soap until next day. The pool water was dirty and green for two days and overall conditions are caotic.

This place was a 3rd world hotel. I could not believe the condition of the place, the pictures you see are not real. We stayed one night to many. First we waited 1 1/2 hours for the guy at the desk to check us in. The check in line was a mile long, surely understaffed, ok I could deal with that. We were tempted to leave but we said ok one night how bad can it be. Well let me tell you it was HORIBLE. The hotel should be condemned. If you don't believe me take a trip and check it out yourselves. No amenities, not that I expected any, but the tv was half off the wall, the batteries were not in the remote, the garbage out was piled up so high. Lock on the door was broken, It was disgusting. If I can add pictures as proof we will and It was not cheap place. I slept wrapped in my clothing cocoon style because I did not want the sheets to touch my body. I just can't even describe it, I have never seen anything like it. I couldn't wait till morning just to get the heck out of there. As I was leaving people who also were leaving told us to stay away from this place, I knew exactly what they meant. The place is a dump and should be closed down. It is a total rip off.

This place is a dump! We encountered people doing drugs by our room, a pittbull blocking our exit. The tv was ripped off of the wall, the bed was broken, and the toilet was broke and our bathroom was flooded.

When we arrived, our room was in terrible condition. We were given only one pillow and a flat sheet to sleep with. The first night, our room didn’t even have working air conditioning, which was unbearable in the hot Florida weather. The bathroom was just as bad—there was mold, the bathtub was dirty, and there wasn’t even a shower curtain. On top of that, the water seemed unsafe because we both developed rashes after showering. There was also no ventilation in the bathroom which heated the room up more. Safety was also a major concern. The door to our room wouldn’t lock properly, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe the entire stay. To make matters worse, the front desk employee, Nicole, was incredibly rude and disrespectful—not just to us, but to other guests as well. She was completely unhelpful when we tried to address these issues. We were eventually offered a 30% discount, but only after arguing for it—and we never actually received it. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I would strongly suggest staying somewhere else.

The overall condition of the room was very deteriorated. The bathroom bathtub was visibly stained and dirty, which is unacceptable. In general, the cleanliness was very poor, to the point that we had to use our own towels and bed sheets just to feel minimally comfortable. We also found that basic amenities were missing: there was no bath soap or toilet paper, so we had to go look for them ourselves. The TV remote control was never provided, and the room phone had no service, making it impossible to contact the front desk for assistance. The room had double beds, but one of them was missing pillows, which shows a complete lack of attention to basic details. Unfortunately, we were unable to cancel the reservation since we arrived after 5 pm and had no opportunity to find another place. Additionally, we had to wait a long time at the front desk because the room was not ready, even though we had reserved it several days in advance. Considering the cost of $127 for one night, the experience was simply pathetic and far below expectations. I would not recommend this place under any circumstances.

The beds where neat and clean, however, there was no soap or towels to take a shower. I had to go to the front desk for those. No cups to drink water with. There's trash everywhere on the property, yet no trashcan in my room. I'm not sure if they even have a cleaning service. Maybe it was just a hard Friday before we arrived?

This Motel 6 was horrible. The staff didn’t allow any early check in. The pool was full of yellowish green water and closed of course. The room only had sheets and no comforters. The heating a cooling unit was really loud, the tub looked dirty but it was really because it needs to be replaced or reglazed. The room also smelled like mildew. I got some air freshener to assist. The only reason I stayed there and didn’t leave is because I was tired from being stuck in the airport for 2 days. The only good thing about this place is that it’s shelter from rain and provides a pay check for a few people. This is among the worst places I’ve ever stayed.

Check in was horrendous. Waited in a line for 90minutes to check in, there was only one person working the counter and one in housekeeping getting rooms ready. A fught broke out in front of the building so the desk lady had to go outside and call the cops to deal with that while we were in line in the heat waiting to check in. The room had holes patched in the wall. I had to go ask for toilet paper and was told I had to wait a long time before I could get some. The toilet stopped flushing and noone wanted to come look at it.

The property was in bad shape. Pool was empty. No fridge in the room to store medicine, which we specifically ordered. All the ice machines were broken. It was terrible with overwhelmed staff, badly organized, and absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life (and I’ve stayed at some very iffy places). I repeat: Do not stay here under any circumstances.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly but the rooms were in very poor condiction. The entire room smelled of mold, the shower curtain had mold/mildew stains. The toilet seat was broken. There were no blankets just 2 sheets. There was a glob of hair stuck on the bathroom door and the tub was peeling and dirty. For $260 a night I was expecting a cleaner room.

The room was very dirty when I arrived, and it had a very bad smell. Additionally, the door did not close properly, which made me feel unsafe during my stay. When I arrived at the reception, there was no staff available, and I had to wait outside until someone finally appeared to assist me. I also noticed people who appeared to be homeless walking inside the property, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and insecure. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements for future guests.

Absolutely awful, it made me want to vomit. I waited half an hour to check in, and when I went to my room with my room key, I found there were no pillows, blankets, or sheets. The room hadn't even been cleaned before I was supposed to stay there? I asked the front desk to change rooms, but the second room was full of trash left by the previous guest, and the bed hadn't been made either; it had also been used by the previous customer. I just left, so why was I still charged? Can I get my transportation expenses reimbursed?

When we arrived the room was in rough shape and not clean sticky stuff on the floor and table, a place you wouldnt even let your dog sleep, 2nd room they put us in wqs better until beening there for 1 day and a bit the mold smell was unbearable, they threw paint in the walls to cover it seems, just over all not a very clean place to stay, staff were nice but i think annoyed after alot ppl turning their noses up to this location

We couldn’t check in our room until after 6:30 cause the rooms weren’t ready. I asked for late check out. They denied me even though they didn’t get in my room with three like they’re supposed to. We had a late night check-in and we’re only there for a few hours so we could board a cruise ship the next morning. When we arrived, the attendant was very nice and gave us a key to a room and that didn’t work. So he gave another room key to a room that was filthy. This went on for like three more rooms that were completely filthy and full of pet cages and dirt and they were awful. He finally found us a smoking room that was decent, but it had no covers no towels and no toilet paper. This hotel needs to be condemned and demolished for good.

In the end I did not stay. The first room smelled so bad from smoking I could not walk in. The 2nd was just dirty. Not like the last cleaning was bad - like it was just not kept up at all. Tub filthy, drain had something in it. Toilet around the seat mounts has some kind of garbage. A/C, you could see some kind of stuff in the vent- I did not turn it . I was with my daughter - we opted to sleep in the airport - It is unfortunate - great locaton for airport. It just needs some real maintenance.

First the place looked very run-down. We didn't get any towels and when asked they said it was being washed, return at 11pm to get some. When we returned to get them, the girl said they were locked up in a cabinet and she didn't have the key....what? so no towels. There were roaches crawling on me at night and in the bathroom. The pool had no water in it. There was just one towel plus a bath mat. Stains in tub. There was garbage outside. Felt extremely unsafe. I was only staying one night and left by 5am as it was so horrible. No hairdryer in room or at front desk. Phone to front desk didn’t work.

Experience could definitely have been better: check in was pretty slow, remote didn't work in the room, TV connections were rusted, and the door front barely stayed closed. The overall aesthetic of the room was good and matched the photos, but the experience was below expectations and could use some much needed tlc. Wishing the best for the motel staff, as I can't imagine the job is easy.

Check-in wait was extremely long: several customers in a tiny lobby with only one person at Front Desk, who was required to walk to the back where management sat out of site, with any customer complaints (management did not appear). Overall, entire facility (including room) needs a lot of updating snd staff.

The room was a biohazard masquerading as accommodation. There were bed bugs. Roach droppings smeared along the walls. The entire room reeked as if someone had just finished smoking a joint moments before we walked in. There were no blankets. No shower curtain. The sheets had visible blood stains on them. There were holes punched in the walls, and the door didn’t even shut properly — which, frankly, felt unsafe on top of everything else. When we brought these issues to the front desk, the response was just as appalling as the room itself. We were offered a literal sheet to hang as a curtain and told we could “maybe” get blankets “if they got cleaned soon enough.” That was the solution. This wasn’t just poor service — it was negligence. It is genuinely disturbing that a place in this condition is allowed to operate, let alone charge people to sleep there. The level of filth and disregard for basic health standards is unacceptable. Allowing human beings to stay in conditions like this is deplorable. Avoid at all costs

we didn’t stay there as soon as we got there. It looked like a slum with all kinds of people just hanging out in the parking lot. The front desk was nice, but couldn’t provide us with any help checking in early one day, but we decided to cancel our reservation because I just didn’t see the safety factor being there.

I feel sorry to say but there's no option for me. So we booked this hotel. We were four and the hotel couldn't even provide four pillows. It's 14. Bedrooms were not that clean and some kind of smell was there and swimming pool was empty. There's no water in the pool as shown in the picture and the area was not clean as expected. Also the there's like bucks small bugs flying around in the room for whole night. So overall it's not like with kids. It is a terrible for me 😭

We were not offered a shuttle, the two Ice machines were not in service , the room key deactivated after each use therefore had to go to the front desk to activate the key again, the community trash can outside the office were over flowing . When in the room , they did not look like the bright shiny room they picture showed. Which is fine pictures are never like the real thing , although we did not expect to find a crack pipe in the toilet!!

Our rooms were still being cleaned when we checked in at 6:30pm. While they did seem clean enough, there were random holes in the bathtub (would never shower there anyway), paint splatters and chipped paint and wood all over the room, tears in the furniture, openings in the bottom of the doors, and more. No ice machines were working. The toilet in my mom’s room didn’t flush after one use. The pool also wasn’t open and there are ducks seemingly living there that blocked the pathways and also their feces was all over the sidewalk. The garbages were overflowing, shocked I didn’t see any rats but maybe the feral cats on the property take care of them. All that being said, it was close to the airport and again, the staff was friendly and helpful as they let us keep our luggage in their locked employee room while we returned our rental car. However, I would never stay here again.

Nothing was right! We got there early, couldn't use a restroom. The police pulled up in several cars, all after 1 guest. The parking lot was nasty, had animal poop, drug paraphernalia and people soliciting! We felt so out of place and scared! Some of the room doors were open so you could see how nasty the rooms were. This room did not have toilet paper in the bathroom. We went out to dinner for Valentine's Day and then went to the hotel to check in, I had left-overs , but the hotel room did not have a refrigerator for me to put my food in. The light in the bathroom was flickering. Lastly, our room was on the second floor, I am disabled , so that was not good for me and there was no elevator, I struggled to go up the stairs.

This place is a complete scam the pictures are all fake it smells like piss there is mold and cockroaches EVERYWHERE with GIANT HOLES IN THE WALLS and Expedia is COMPLICIT with the scam, outright refusing to refund us! Arrived and there was a line up out the door of people, lost reservations, many complaints for , no toilet paper, dirty rooms, no soap, no bedding , people still waiting for their rooms to be cleaned even though it was 8pm at night. We decided to check in anyways because there was no other choice at this point. We got to our room and it was in very poor condition. We also had no blankets, 1 pillow per bed, and no toilet paper or soap. The room was basically falling apart, wood beds were rotted and breaking, holes in the walls, leaking sink, broken tv, broken lights, broken door that wouldnt even lock which made us feel unsafe. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

However this property needs to do something about: 1/ Cockroaches in the rooms 2/ Not having rooms fully stocked prior to check in with things like pillows, towels, toilet paper, and soap. I went the entire trip with no towels and no soap as they were not available. There was a gentlemen in his truck smoking profusely and the smoke filled my room all day/night long, and as someone recovering from a stroke this was not good. I've checked out and the next day my chest/lungs hurt. Can't say I felt 100% safe at this property either. It felt a little sketchy. I mean what do you expect it's the cheapest hotel in broward country so you get what you pay for I guess at least I got to have a nice conversation with the resident cockroaches. Oh and there are chickens and some cats roaming around. So if you like animals that would be a plus. So not the best experience overall.

Brianna was so friendly and amazing at the front desk! She helped me find a room to accommodate my mold allergy. We went to 4 different rooms. Unfortunately there was mold in the room. I stayed that night and asked for a refund the remaining days but it was against the policy. But thankfully Brianna relayed the message to the manager of my health condition and the manager Griselda sorry if I got your name incorrect. She was also very friendly and helpful! For this reason I give them 5 stars because they are very accommodating to their guest AND they are remodeling so with this approach with customers and the remodeling this motel 6 will succeed! First there were feral cats running around and could not get through the parking lot without stopping to avoid hitting one. Trash was everywhere in the property except in the room. Then had to ask a family living on the property under the stairs to move so I could go up the stairs. The room did not look horrible but it smelled awful. In the 10 min I was there a drugged out person stumbled out of the room. I did not feel safe with my 11 year old in this hotel so I ran out of there to another hotel. I would recommend you to stay far away unless you want a place to do drugs and play with feral cats.

The room was definitely THE WORST that I have ever experienced in a Motel 6 or any other motel in which I've stayed. Every piece of exposed metal was rusted, including desk chair and the bathroom door frame. The 'knobs' were missing from the toilet seat and the toilet tissue holder was broke so that the roll had to be balanced on the handicap bar or left on the back of the commode. The mattress was set unsecured on a platform so that every time I got into or out of bed it moved about a foot, depending on my motion. The TV antenna was an exposed wire that was sticking about 2 feet out of the side and into the room. The bathtub was grungy and had missing pieces of porcelain and the sink was missing a stopper. The property itself was trashy and both ice machines were out of order. When I inquired about ice I was told 'the manager has gone to get some' but I never saw it. Overall it was a disappointing stay to say the least; that old adage about getting what you pay for was proven false in this case as I paid a lot more than what I received.

This is a really run down hotel. The beds were comfortable and clean. The sink was clean. Nice large TV. These were only reason we stayed the night. The AC was so loud that we could not run it. The shower was gross - we did not shower. The headboard on the bed was broken. Our nightstand had been broken off and the screws were still sticking out of the wall. They allow dogs and though they say they have a strict "quiet night" policy, someone's small dog barked non-stop until 3:30 am. It was close to the airport snd cruise port was our only reason we even stayed overnight. Stay away from this one!

I called early in the week, confirmed the reservation and told the lady who answered we would be after midnight checking in because of our late flight. When we arrived at the motel, we were told we did not have a reservation or a room. So now it’s 1 o’clock in the morning and we have nowhere to go. Everything else is booked up thus making a very difficult . Worst experience ever. Finally found something about 330 and were able to get to sleep by 4 AM. There was also quite a few other people standing around, trying to figure out what to do because they were in the same situation. Created a very difficult hardship!

Problems aren't solved. Just excuses given. Corporate does not respond. Pretty sure the corporate number goes straight to the motel manager. I am very disappointed that Motel 6 corporate allows their name brand to be associated with this s...hole!

The staff was friendly, personable, and helpful. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had lots of very hot water!

This was the most horrible place I have ever stayed this place needs to be shut down. Trash is everywhere there was a kid bouncing a ball to around 1am animal poop all over sidewalks bugs flying around the room you can’t take a shower because the bathtub is way to dirty the list goes on.

Disgusting. The lobby was dirty, and the front desk staff couldn’t care less. Our room had no deadbolt (it was broken off) plus a completely clogged sink, no comforter aside from a thin sheet, and a fake phone with no wires. We paid $60, but it’s not even worth $10. I’ve slept on airport floors that were cleaner. Avoid this dump.

I am leaving all exaggeration, hyperbole, or resentment to staff members out of this review entirely. The fact of the matter is nothing went well whatsoever. The room was a filthy black mold filled, without any trace of amenities I paid for. Staff made zero efforts to accommodate me whatsoever. “Overbooked” was the only word I heard. There was literally an entire door covered with black mold, bugs, dirt, filth and was not anything like the images portrayed prior to me booking the room. This place is a health hazard and I was afraid to leave my wife alone in this room due to our broken front door that a swift kick would bust in. I have never had an experience like this before. I don’t generally leave reviews but the public must be aware and warned.

DO NOT GO! This place is absolutely horrible. Upon arrival the room we had booked was not available. The room we were given was absolutely atrocious. Everything was incredibly dirty, mattress was stained and had old grains of rice and crumbs, shower was dirty and moldy, TV did not turn on and there was no remote, sheets smelled like old, toilet was clogged and full of toilet paper! We had to go to the front desk to ask for a plunger and after unclogging it, the toilet kept spitting up yellow water. There were even cockroaches roaming around that we had to kill. It looked like no one had cleaned or checked our room before giving it to us. The vibes of the motel are also extremely sketchy. Many people smoking outside and yelling. On our way up to the room there were rooms with broken glass windows. The doors of the room didn't close properly and were all beat up. I felt extremely unsafe here and would not recommend this motel to anyone. It feels like there a bunch of drug addicts everywhere and like a motel that houses homeless people. Save your money and book elsewhere if cleanliness and safety is a priority.

The overall cleanliness and maintenance of this hotel are far below any reasonable standard. It’s shocking that management feels justified charging nearly $100 per night for a stay in such deplorable conditions. I strongly question how this property is still in operation or passing inspection. This was, without a doubt, one of the most unpleasant and unsettling hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere — you deserve far better for your money and your peace of mind.

Has bed bugs not safe

The staff was great, but the room was a complete s**t hole. Bugs, dirty, toilet coming loose from the wall, baseboards taped on, door handles falling apart. The exterior didn’t look much better. Puke on the sidewalk and trash everywhere.

This hotel is nasty smells dirty duck everywhere. Its more like a trucker motel and a No towels or soap. Weed scent everywhere no single woman should ever stay here. By 3am got tired with the noise and weed scent i left and call a Uber to take meto the airport since my flight was at 8am

The hotel was probably the worst dirtiest I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed at many Motel 6’s. As a company they should be ashamed of themselves. The bathtub, which must’ve been white at some point was filthy dirty, and didn’t look like it had been scrubbed in quite a long time. The Toilet tissue dispenser was ripped off the wall and a roll of toilet paper was just sitting on top of the toilet. The walls had the stains like somebody flung stuff on them and just didn’t wipe up well. I have photos if you’d like I was truly shocked. The outside of the hotel wasn’t any better. Many doors into the rooms were either missing their numbers and written with a magic marker directly all the entry doors dirty and beaten up as well as the sidewalks on the second floor and the ground level. If I knew it was that bad I definitely wouldn’t have stayed there and looking at it on Expedia it showed nothing like it truly was. People were loudly, walking, back-and-forth outside of rooms as well as smoking outside, causing it go inside the hotel rooms, obviously underneath the doors. The lock on the door of my hotel room was just hanging the broken, but there was no way to make the clamp secure I do have photos of that. I have another Motel 6 booked for my next trip down to Fort Lauderdale but it a different area and now I’m quite afraid of what that is or if I can change it.

Aside from the check-in process I didn't have much interaction with staff. The room is very dark and musty the television didn't work at all the sink barely had water pressure there was no soap to be found anywhere in the room and the table that was in the room was about to fall off the wall. I did get to connect to the Wi-Fi however there was no internet . I was going to complain but it's obvious not much care happens here. I'm not mad the price probably reflects what my expectations should have been however I do feel it was misrepresented on the Expedia website.

Went to check in and had very unhappy guest saying that the A\C didn’t work and neither did the phone or TV. Whole place smelled like mold. We left. I didn’t ask for a refund, we walked a mile and a half with full luggage to another hotel and booked a room. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, especially someone on vacation

This place was horrible. It stank, everything was broken and dirty. There were holes on the walls. The bathroom was so disgusting. The outside was unsafe full of people smoking and making noise at 3am. The key didn’t work. They had to change it twice. When I was finally able to enter the room It was so horrible that I left 2 minutes after entering.

When I first tried to check in, I was told they had no rooms available. I showed them my reservation confirmation and suddenly they had a room. Went to the room and it was still occupied. Unmade beds, food and empty drink bottles on the table, dirty towels in the bathroom. I immediately went back down to the office and asked for a refund and went to another hotel. I will never go to another Motel 6! And I’m still waiting on the refund! Staff was extremely unfriendly as well!

Sink was clogged & filled up when washing, toilet seat broken, bedside tables removed ..phone on the ground ... door did not lock properly > safety issue sketchy year round occupants are evident .. only 2 towels .. they told our family of 4 > sorry when we asked. Rules given to us say no smoking weed. But when I arrived there was someone sitting on the stairs right next to the check in desk smoking weed. Also the attendant was missing but I had seen her walking around when I was trying to park. We had to wait over 10 minutes for her to show up and then she took someone ahead of us and took a very long time checking them in. Telling us to wait until that person went, checked his tag, and came back.

We had a great time there. You can walk tobthe beach, the stores are all in walking distance.

Front Desk and the people who work and here make it what it is… For motel 6 they get five stars!! If you not from broward probably would recommend you the Ritz Carleton or Fountain Blue…. You get what you pay for!

I got in the hotel and had to ask to cancel and refund my payment. Had trash everywhere. I got a non-smoke room and was smelling cigarettes the room. I was scare to stay there. The picture looks totally different . I know is a cheap hotel but this doesn’t mean that have to have the way that was.

I did not check in we left almost immediately and went to anther proper hotel, I put in a claim with travel insurance to get a refund, the pictures online an reviews are false, the employees purposefully ignore you, an look like at you like pure unconvince, I now have second thoughts about ever using Travelocity again.

Sheets were stained my door didn’t locked

Not the greatest stay, first room I was given smelled of cigarette smoke so I went down to the reception, woman was kind enough to give me another room. But the A/C was not working, I was too exhausted to complain a second time about the problem so I just let it be. One guest of the motel was doing some things that they were not supposed to be doing in the morning.

You can tell whoever cleans there does minimal work, the shower was dirty and the room had a horrible smell. I spoke to the front desk and the response was they can simply cancel my reservation when I’m at the entrance with my family and bags in hand ready to check in. Mind you I made plans 3 months in advance and called ahead to confirm I would get the room I asked for and paid extra for ( with a fridge). Horrible experience.

The ac is very dirty. All the hotel has mild. I have asthma and immediately started getting allergies and an asthma attack. Left immediately and need to be reimbursed since I left 5 min after check-in on. All the way walking up to the room had poop animal everywhere. At check-in you can see it has not been clean for a long time. Awful awful hotel.

The room was terrible! There were no blankets on the beds, roaches and mosquitoes! The bathroom had no door handles and my husband was stuck inside for forty five minutes before he punched a hole into it and was able to finally escape. They switched the room and the light over the sink could not be turned off, roaches crawling everywhere and the curtains were falling apart on the windows. It also had a terrible smell that I had to spray air freshener! Had I not reserved it and was afraid of losing my money I would have went elsewhere! Never again!

Where do I begin? Housekeeping never showed up. I had to wash my own towels and bedding. The toilet was loose. The floor under the tub was rotted out I felt like I was gonna go through the floor. The shower stall was poorly painted. Who paints a shower? I went thru 2 cans of raid to kill the “palmetto bugs” ( cockroaches). No coffe maker, fridge, or microwave. Staff had an attitude problem and charged me for an extra night when I already paid the full reservation. I was there for a month for work, terrible experience. Ice machines were always broken and moldy. Vending machines were broken. Place was garbage.

I had to buy my own pillows and towels. I had to wash my own bedding. House keeping was available but in the month I stayed here I never saw anyone even make an attempt. Toilet was wobbly since day one and was already clogged when I checked in. Little gnats everywhere with the occasional “palmetto bug”. No fridge which didn’t work well cuz I have to keep my insulin chilled. No microwave.

The room needed renovation. Electrical outlet for air conditioner was broken and a hazard. The bathroom walls behind door was corroted and voyld seevthrough the interior wall. Area is full of mosquitoes and biting nats. Was bitten horribly while walking dog. Property needs TLC.

Stinky and 100$ don’t worth

I did not stay at this property until the May 18. I had to check out Saturday morning because I was unable to breathe. I went to the front desk to change my room several times because of the smoke in the room. I told the from desk person Ann Marie I cannot deal with cigarette smoke. Her statement, I am sorry to have you running around here like a chicken with your head cutoff was not pleasant. I went to three different room. First one I could not breathe (118), the second room the key did not work (209), and the third room (211) was not as bad but when I woke up on Saturday morning the room was filled with cigarette smoke. It took me over an hour to get my bearings. When I went to check out, the front desk was stated he would give me 60 percent of my money back. I felt I should have gotten 90 percent back of my money. I did check out before 11 am. I asked for a receipt but he only allow me to take picture. Daina Beach area was nice area, but this hotel was not.

My room was flooded, then I was assigned to a new room but bed was broken and the mattress fell on the ground after I got in the bed. Horrible smell !!! I was not able to stay and leave the property that very same night.

Experience was overall good. Ann and her husband (maintenance man) where helpful and very nice people. We had an issue with the tv not turning on and they figured out the problem and got it working. The only issues we had was one of the lights in the room under by the table wouldnt cut off and the sink drain stopper wouldnt go up. It was stuck push in. Other then those little things it was good.

Terrible condition , dogs & cats roaming the property

The property is under renovation. There was no refrigerator or ice machine working. If you don’t mind roughing it for a night, it’s fine.

The pool had no water in it. The bed had no blanket and they would not give me one. The TV had no remote, they found and extra. I had to shower in the dark because the bathroom light was so loud.

The property is poorly maintained, there were trash every where. Geese poops every where. The faucet in room did not work properly. The room is dirty and run down. People hanging out outside of my room until 2 am playing loud music and talking loudly! Just scary and shady kind of people around the hotel.

There Wana very strong smoke smells all around the room so strong that we catch it on the clothes and in the hair. There were like fourmen seating in the hallways in separate areas, smoking cigarettes and weed, The trash was full and in the floor around it. The bathtub tub was very dirty with hairs in it, and the worst one and small cockroach inside and old not working phone!

The furniture is all broken and banged up. Someone was being arrested as we came in. The staff was nice and the sheets were clean but everything else was just really rough.

The rooms were filthy and smelled like mold. I wouldn't have been comfortable getting into the bed. Tub was disgusting. Curtains were threadbare. Shady looking people hanging around. Can't imagine what would have happened after dark. Pool was closed, ice machines both broken. Absolutely unacceptable and likely would have many health department violations.

Where do I even begin …. 1st room smell like a cigarette factory, holes on was . Complained and they gave me a different room although it didn’t smell bad let me count all the things that has gone wrong with this establishment. Bathroom door won’t close cause the henges are basically falling off , cigarette burn mark all over the bath tub , roaches , bed is so work out you can literally pick in which indentation you wanna sleep in but be careful with the bed spring cause the poke you if you rub them the wrong way . Sheet has blood on it . Only a fitted sheet and flat sheet . The picture they use on website is not of these premises!!! Pool out of service for a month that was not advertised , ice machine not working , closes store to get something to eat is a good 15-20 minute walk . Decided to take a shower and the shower points to the shower wall went to turn it towards me so I’m not up against the grungy wall and the shower head broke on me . If you want ghetto this is the place to be . If you want peace of mind go somewhere else cause this is not it . Btw they’re doing construction next door , people hanging around property that look like they up to no good . Ahhh let’s not forget that the window curtain is being held up by zip ties

i actually remounted the door safety lock as it was barely held on by 1 screw. Used glue and toothpicks to reseat and secure the latch knob on the door side. Also, had to tighten the toilet seat to the bowl as it was quite loose and almost unusable. Seemed to be red wax on the wall behind the toilet.

I arrived at the hotel at 10pm off a flight and was informed that my reservation was cancelled. The person at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. It seems they cancel Expedia reservations if they find customers who will pay more last minute. Being stranded in a strange place in the middle of the night is not a good experience.

Honestly the pictures are in 2025, but the location is 2003. It’s so old, the walls were dirty, there was roaches overnight in the tub and bathroom floors. The bathroom was SO dirty. The bed board was broken from the bottom. We simply came to enjoy the beach and weather and since it was raining, we stayed in… and it was nasty. I paid $420 for 3 nights and it was terrible. There was AT LEAST, 5-6 bums in the area. Broken down cars… it was a NO for me.

While the price was decent, the Motel 6 Dania Beach pictures are misleading. The motel is not as pristine as the pictures will have you to believe. The hotel seems to have a lot of people that are long term residents. That is not necessarily a bad thing, however the vibe is not giving vacation stay.
